Hitori blinked in embarressment as she was called forth to make a speech. She fussed and complained some more but Eles pushed her forward and stood several steps behind her as she stood so close to the knights. She noticed that all of them too off their helmets to stared at her more then they had been in the beginning well Darres didn't, he respectfully looked away cause she was more like a sister to him and he had seen her dressed in many different ways.

She let out a soft little laugh of nervousness as a blush came across her cheeks and she gave a timid smile. "Well um... I have never been one for inspirastional speeches... But being a princess and queen its kinda expected of you to always say something wise and helpful. But all of you are such brave and noble knights... I am sure what you need to encourage yourself in already in you... in the depth of your soul... All you need is to open your mind to it and draw forth from that and it will keep you going... I like to believe in what someone once told me as a very young child... I a very wise man told me who had seen the hardships... You can not trust whats around you until you trust in yourself, only then will it all become real... I was born in the most darkest of times when the war between vampires and humans had just merely began... As a child I seemed to find light in those dark times not only in myself but in others. I grew up with the knowladage that even in the darkest places when all seems lost... there is light... right in your heart flickering like a little candle," She gave the speech a little uneasy at first but a after a second, she lost herself in it and her voice grew very soft and comforting. Eles smiled as he watched her in a very approving manner. At the end of her speech, she placed her hand over her heart and closed her eyes for a few seconds then opened them slowly.

She walked down the line in a very graceful motion, her movements nearly flawless and could almost put a female vampire to shame, she stopped at the end of the line to turn and look at the knight who had not removed his halmet. "Who is this knight?" Hitori asked in a curious manner. Darres turned to see who she was talking about then gave a soft sigh. "He just came in... Hes Moon from some far kingdom... Amazing that he came all this way," Darres introduced him in a calm manner then looked away again.

Hitori gave a small giggle then gave a kind bow of the head to him. She then kissed the tips of her fingers then placed it up to his helmet where his forehead would be. She then looked at him with soft and accepting eyes. "Well, a very enduring soul to travel all this way... The best luck to you the most, don't let the others toss you around just cause your not from around here, kay?" Hitori assured the new knight that was 'Moon' then she walked off knowing that the torment would not be too long off from starting and she would be needed for it to begin.

The tournament was approaching 4 hour mark now. Out of 50 competitors only 3 remained. 17 knights had dead from their wounds sustain from the matches. The 3 that remaining competitors are Armone, the knight from kingdom of Apocryphal, and Darres who just won his match to be in the finals. So the match would be the final match in the semi finals. The knight from Apocryphal stood at the left end of the court looking at Armone who was looking very tired with blood shot eyes. The knight chuckled at Armone and spoke"Looks like someone was out a bit late last night. So I take it you ran into those three beautiful women last night huh?They kept you up all night and now your losing your strength because of lack of sleep.Has your vision started to blur yet?" the knight said in a sarcastic concerned voice. Armone looked grumble and muttered " Shut up you. That only proves you were scared to face me and had to pull a underhanded move to gain the advantage.Yet you failed in that. Now die."The knight ready himself and paired Armone blade."A warrior should not relay on his strength alone but also his mind." Armone pushed back and swung his sword own through the knight but nothing happened."Seeing double vision are we?"Armone was struck with the butt end of the sword in his back. After a few minutes of more fighting Armone was dead tired. he fell to his knees and the judge rushed in to check him. Armone could no longer hold his sword. he judge turned to the crowd and spoke"Due to Armone unable to continue the fight the winner of this match is the knight from Apocryphal." The crowed was more or less stunned. Their brilliant commander was beaten by an unheard of figure. The knight walked next to Armone." This match wasn't only about wining the right to go to the finals. It was also about fighting for Hitori's hand. I hope you understand by losing this match you understand what that means don't you." The knight walked off the court to go rest before the final match.

Before the tornment began, she was called forth to stand alone in the middle of it all and she looked as the packed seats of the stadium silenced to listen carefully to her words. "As you all know I have traveled far to get here and there are some knights who have traveled even father to get here... some old faces and some new faces. These battles that will take place here are fights between two noble knights and in some cases the out come may be grim. But these knights risk their life for honor and pride but also to prove their noblity. And in the end, only one will stand victirious and that one will be given the right to a prize.... My kiss and my hand for the evening," She announced and gave a soft smile as people began to mutter amongst themselves most likely as to who would get the wonderful prize that would be her. She looked down for a moment then her eyes softened with sadness for a moment then she perked back up and smiled. "Let the sad dance of the Crimson flowers began!" Hitori cried out and she casted a spell that made roses appear along the sides of the inside of the stadium, red in color and filling it will a romantic aurama. Some of the rose petals blew over to her then swirled around her before she vanished then reappeared in the stands in the royal box. One of the gaurds gently sat her down in a small throne.

Edward stood beside her in amusement. Hitori was on the edge of her seat as Armone was fighting against this new knight. She stood up as Armone had fallen to the ground. This ment that the finally battle would be a fight between this Moon character and her own commander of the army, her 'brother' to which she had adoupted as her brother. Watching as Moon walked out to leave Armone to be tended to by gaurds and nurse maidens. She knew that they would have a break before the last battle to determine the winner. Hitori left the royal box and traveled down to the tents where the knights rested. She walked into the tent and walked in stern motion up to Darres "Hitori... I was afraid you would come down here..." Darres sighed before he stood up respectfully in her presence.

Hitori shook her head as she stood infront of him, allowing him to tower above her. It was the knights day, she would not make a fuss over such things and right now. Her only concern was her brother. "Darres... I want you to forfit, Please my brother... I did not save you from the hands of vampires for you to be slaughtered in such an awful manner... Moon is not human... hes atleast half vampire or half demon... I know not which and I do not care... I do not want you to get hurt,... Do not be like Ouijien and be so quick to scrafice yourself..." Hitori protested, her voice was low, she did not want the other knights to over hear. Darres sighed and shook his head giving her a kind expression. "You worry far too much, I may be defeated but I know when I am beaten... I shall not die, now you shouldn't be worrying yourself my lady and you should be with the king and queen... Now go on," Darres said in a reassuring manner before motioning her towards the entrance of the tent. Hitori glared at him then she left the tent to return to the royal box.

She sat back down in the throne slowly with a worried and sad expression across her face, she felt an awful feeling in the pit of her stomach that Darres would lose this battle and she didn't like the thought of loosing Darres at all. Edward made some sly remarks but she stomped on his foot to shut him up and continued to stare out into the middle waiting for the battle to unfortunetally begin.

Moon meet Darres in the center of the court. Both men bowed to each other and walked back to their respective corners. The match was start with the sound of a drum. Moon stood his ground only looking at Darres. Darres had charged only to be caught off guard by Moon non movement."Are you scared to fight me huh? Or do you plan to give up?". Moon respond by extending his left hand out and waved towards himself in a taunting motion for Darres to come get him. Darres built up his charge towards moon over the cobblestone court. Darres was only a few yards from him and began his charge.Moon grab the neck of his sheeted blade.Darres was inches away from Moon when he began to swing his sword down at an angle at Moon.Moon took one step forward pulling out his sword aiming the butt of the blade to hit Darres chest.Darres stumble backwards a few feet from getting the wind knock out of him a bit. He had no time to rest as Moon moved to stab his sword right through Darres. Darres seeing the glint coming of Moon blade in the corner of his eye was able to doge the attack and respond by spinning behind Moon and swing to decapitate Moon.rolled forward and turned around. Both men slashed their blades froward pairing each others. Sparks began to appeared from the friction of the two metal blade rubbing against each other. Moon began to speak." You are indeed strong. Your swordsmanship is great. Yet your lacking other skills. Like in this scenario now were you find yourself pitted against someone else who is well traverse with the sword as you are. The difference between you and me is that while you look and wait for an opening. I" Moon began to push Darres sword back" on the other hand create openings." Darres never noticed nor did the crowed see Moon move his left foot around Darres's right foot.Moon then pulled his foot back making Darres fall to the ground.Moon immediately stomp on Darres sword arm to pin it against the ground.Moon blade tip was point inches above Darres's Adam's apple."You did good but was careless near the end." Darres realizing he had lost the match undid his grip on his sword. Darres spoke quietly to ensure only Moon could hear him."I am not going to began for my life but just ask you make it quick." Moon kicked Darres sword away from them."Very well if that what you wish."Moon raised his blade up while Darres began to think to himselfI sorry Hitori that I lied to you.You strong enough now that you dont need me to keep protecting you. Darres closed his eyes and then heard a sharp ping sound.He open his eyes to see Moon sword a little bit to the left of his head. Moon started to walk away from Darres . He never took his sword or looked back Darres. The announcer tried to stop Moon to raise his hand but Moon just kept on walking to the competitors tent.

Hitori watched as the battle came to a dramatic end and her adoupted brother was defeated in the battle, she looked to the crowd that were in awe at the sudden turn of events. Hitori's eyes flickered with worry and she watched as the winner stormed out. She stood up and glared as her brother was carried off. She told the gaurds to get back and she casted a spell.

In a flash, the winner that was Moon was teleported before her. She waved as people cheered, she gave a pleasent smile. She looked at Moon in a timid manner as the king and queen left the box yet people were still on edge to see if weither or not the knight would kiss the lovely princess. "Your new and I will give you a break for that but to just up and leave after winning is considered an insult... It is tradition for me to be the prize for five years in a row this has gone and each time no guy has kissed me to accept the inventation to spend the evening with me. So honestly, I rather get this over with and know weither or not your going to insult the injury that you caused by beating around my adoupted brother just cause you could or are you actually going to kiss me? If no kiss, I might just kick your a**... Cause once again, I am out here just to look pretty and to look ridiculous," She growled at him and her eyes narrowed a bit before she knocked on his helmet.

Moon couldn't help but hold in a laugh.She hasn't noticed or figured it out. The knight cleared his thought."I understand your tradition but if I 'am not mistaken it doesn't say the kiss has to happen right after the winner is declared. I was thinking it could happen later at the royal ball if you would be my date?"The knight to a knee and held up his hand. The knight looking at a down at in angle.He was blushing badly under neath his helmet.

Hitori fell silent as the knight actually spoke, crossing her arms as he spoke. She blinked as he took a knee before her in a honorable and respectful manner, noblely accepting that a royal figure of higher status was before him. She stared down at him with widened eyes as the crowd gasped then grew deadly silent awaiting her responce. There was whispers here and there. Hitori's eyes were widened and a bright blush came across her cheeks in embarressment and lack of understanding of how to respond to such a odd request.

The beautiful queen of La Naan stood to the side watching the two with gentle and caring eyes. She almost was a twin sister of Hitori's mother, she could pass as a fake if it was done correct, there were slight differences, she seemed a bit more lean and slender then Hitori's mother had been and her hair seemed a slightly different tint of brown, had a bit more red in it.

The woman took a step forward, her heel of her shoe that made her a little taller then she really was clacked on the wood as she said her peice. "He is correct... We have no set time to which the kiss is given, or what order things go... Only that there is to be a kiss... What he suggests is reasonable and is allowed... Young princess... Hitori... You blush like your mother... Its beautiful and it cannot be hidden," She stated then gave a little bit of a teasing laugh. Hitori blinked and her eyes narrowed a little bit from the harsh tease from her Aunt, Hitori waved her hand and turned her body to the side, crossing her arms again still blushing but seeming to have a posture of a stubborn child.

Oujien's ring around her neck on the chain hovered a bit and glowed in a rythmic manner, it would fade out and glow bright again almost like some kind of heart beat. Her Aunt looked at the ring oddly for a moment and raised a brow before laughing a little, the woman had a beautiful laugh that was soft and comforting. Hitori looked at Oujien's ring then clasped her hand around it tightly pulling it back down from where it had been hovering to lay on her chest. "Whatever! I suppose if its not out of the question with the rules, it is not out of the question... I shall see you dark knight Moon, this evening, Careful... My mother was a wicked woman and it passed on through my blood... Be late and I might turn you into a toad; Now if you all don't mind, I have an adoupted brother that I have to flaunt 'I told you so to'... Vampire slayers... They are just as bad as vampires... They are both soooo stubborn..." Hitori commented to the knight Moon. Then she took the him of her white and gold dress then bent her knees and made a slow graceful movement towards the ground with her head down, then she rose back up and walked away from the box.


The queen giggled a little then looked at Moon. "Don't let her scare you off Moon, shes just grumpy cause we are dressing her actually like a princess, shes harmless I promise... Like her mother, shes stubborn and has the potental to be a powerful leader to which many would speak of... However her and her mother's values differ and she doesn't have the short temper that her mother had... Her mother had told me, she had more of her father's personality; Well, I look forward to your presence in the future... Farwell for now..." The queen assured him before bowing respectfully to him as well in the same manner. She departed as well and the sounds of her footsteps gracefully flowing down the stairs echoed a little.


Edward stepped out from a corner and glared at this knight with his own eyes and took several steps forward towards him. Then he gave a slow and dramatic clap before stopping and just glaring at him with his one good eye. "Bravo, well done for a newbie to this area; I don't know how things run from where your from but don't be getting any ideas with the princess and don't be getting too cosy with her either... Here, she is an angel... A saint that will be the end of the vampire's reign, believe it won't be long until you hear of her and how she destories the traditor that is the vampire king... now, I mean those vampires do nothing but coware in hiding waiting for their own doom to reach them, she shall be the one to bring it to them... She knows alot of how vampires fight and that is much thanks to Oujien... She already does not really fear the presence of a vampire. So if you are thinking of in purities of our princess... think again... Because you can use a sword yes but I know magic that will make you wish you were dead," Edward threatened then gave a scuff before pushing passed him and heading for the stairs to leave the box.

Sweat traveled slowly down the face hidden inside the helmet.Moon watched Hitori's reaction with much delight. I think she might actually like me.It's also a good thing she never read that history book of magic. A glimmering light caught Moon's eye. The light was coming from the ring around Hitori's neck. His attention quickly changed as the queen spoke. Moon couldn't help but harbor animus upon seeing the queen. She looked so much like Hitori's mother. Moon listen to Hitori's response. So she thinks I ' am stubborn. She is one to talk. He gave her and later the queen a small bow with his head when they took their respective leaves. Moon was about to get up when Edward showed up. Moon let out a slight sigh.Here we go again Moon listen to Edward's threatening rant. As Edward was about to leave Moon stood up." Prince Edward it seems from your words you take great dissatisfaction that I won. You also threaten my honor and the honor of my country. As a proud knight I well not stand for this." Moon started to walk towards Edward. Once he got in front of Edward Moon took out a black felt glove from inside his armor. Moon proceeded to slap Edward with it on the left side of his cheek. It left a small red bruise."I challenge you to a duel."

Edward blinked after he was slapped, he glared at the knight. "Oh sure... Half breed... Your an idiot for thinking you can take on a high wizard such as my self... while your at it, you can take on Hitori, But if you honestly think you a knight can keep up with a wizard," He said in a dark tone as he hoped over the railiing and landed in the stadeum.

Hitori was checking on her dear friend when one of the young boys that aided the nights came into the tent and informed her of what was going on. She narrowed her eyes, she left the tent then walked back to the stadeum. There she stood amongst the crowd and she watched Moon Sharply. Her eyes darted between the two as the scene played before her. Then she walked away from the scene and she took some leather clothes sneakly and left coins for the talior, surely more then it was worth. She put on the light leather outfit, with red crimson silk. And then making sure nobody saw her, she shifted into her fake vampire state, then she took two blades from the retiring knights, tucking the ring of Oujien away. She looked like a female version of Oujien, she was simply beautiful.

This state was known as Lunatta, a rogue vampiress who was known for slaughtering her own kind but she had been seen or heard from in years in the vampire community. She waltzed out into the stadium looking like she ment business. She stood there with the top of her cleavage exposed and her mid drift. People grew silent and held their breath as she stood there with a hand on her hip and weight shifted one foot. She stood staring at Edward with her silver eyes flickering with being pissed off and annoyed.

On the far left of the stadium where the red tent was located Moon walked out slowly.He took notice of this new comer. She had a nicely shape body but a females body he knew was also a weapon that could be used against men. Moon looked at the woman." I have no quarry with you yet if you wish to fight I will oblige. The duel's rules are the same as the tournament. The match ends when two people either give up, knocked out, or killed. Now with that out of the way shall we begin" Moon quickly drew out a short sword. The sword was totally black. Strange reddish silver markings were cast into the sword. Moon held the sword sideways in a defensive position while he used his right hand to make a hand sign.

Edward turned and looked at Lunatta who now stood firm and he looked her over, she stared down Edward. Edward smirked then walked a little closer "Lady Lunatta... Shouldn't you be in a coffin somewhere, you hardly come out for air anymore... Since the vampires grew to the wiser about you... Afraid your loosing your touch?" He taunted her as he stood there in a very cocky manner. Speaking the traditor name of the vampire slaughter, Lunatta turned her head and glared at the high wizard.

Lunatta glanced over at the knight called Moon then she glanced back at Edward, a sly smile creeping across her thin lips. Her silver eyes locked on him then her expression grew very serious in expression across her face. She took a step back and she began chanting a dark spell, this was no average dark black vampire magic trick; it was very advance. Now it would be come clear as to why she was a traditor that could slaughter so many vampires, she was no ordanary traditor.

She was using Oujien's dark dragon calling spell, a spell that only Oujien and Demetri knew how to cast properly without nearly killing themselves or screwing it up. And the dragon she called forth looked just like Oujien's dragon summon, a black dragon with shappire blue eyes and diamonds running down its black scales and silver fangs. The dragon rawred and slammed into Edward, slamming him into a wall easy and then he was simply down for the count. The dragon evaporated and she stood there still firm and strong, confident and proud.

She suddenly turned and looked at Moon with shimmering silver eyes. She looked at the sky for a moment, letting out a 'hmmm' before she drew one of her long swords. Then she lowered the sword before getting up real close to him and whispered with little fangs. "Match, set... Don't waste my time halfy vampire... You should learn when the fight is over, you disrespect the throne here," she commented then started to walk away.

Moon eyes went wide for half a second before going back to normal. There only to ways for her to be able to do that spell.One she is either Demetri or Oujien. Given that was Oujien's dragon and that Oujien is dead there is only one rational solution how she could preform it. She has Oujien's ring yet Hitori's has his ring.She either A. really is Hitori or B. she killed Hitori. Given Hitori death would have caused an alarm by now then its is A. Well hello Hitori.Moon spoke in a low deep thundering voice." I see through you.." the next word was spoken softly enough so that only Lunatta could hear"..princess". With that Moon made several hand signs with his right hand in a quick succession that only a very well trained eye could only have a chance of following. The markings on the sword began to glow deep red. He then swung his sword towards the ground. Black flames spewed out of the sword towards the ground. The flames spread out in a circle that incased Moon and Lunatta. Moon return his short sword back to a defensive position.

Lunatta turned around looking at him with a quizical look, her silver eyes flickered with annoyance and she stopped and held the long sword fast. Her eyes narrowed, silver flickering like it was real melted silver. She hissed at him showing her fangs and then she straightened herself. "Your an idiot... or blind, do I look like the princess to you? Any princess? I spent several of my years taking down stupid vampires that think they are just so holier then thou... I have to cut them down to size.... I serve in the name of the human kingdom... I am the appreientance of Eles... Now stop disgracing yourself and wasting my time," Lunatta growled in a angry tone and she glared at him before she let out a aura frost that killed the fire ring and dissappered.

She then brought up the blade and held the tip of the blade to his throat, in a threatening manner then she brought the sword away and started to walk again, this time heading to leave the stadium. "This grows tiring," she yawned.

Moon started to laugh" Twice. Are you trying to turn over a new leaf Lunatta or you not her at all Hitori.As I said before I see through you. That spell only two people can do it. one happens to be dead. Funny the one that is dead is the dragon you used The only way one could cast it then is to have that dead man ring which I noticed Hitori earlier had around her neck.And it so happens you have that ring. Yet that does not matter now. Like I said before I had no quarry with you so we have no fight here. Farewell." Moon started to walk away Hitori show me how much you have grown since your studies.

Hazel turned to look at him with those piercing silver eyes and basically informed him in a pissed off tone that spells could be studied and learned and vampires weren't complicated creatures to figure out, most did not desire to be worthy to be called a vampire. Hazel hated talking like this, it was so unlike her to be so hateful anymore. She had a reputation to up hold however and people could not see the frightful vampire grow soft for him. She also shook her head annoyed by the mention of the ring, it was hidden away unseen and this guy thought that he could simply make so many insulting guesses. She was sorta personally insulted that he figured that the princess would discuse herself as a traditor vampire who killed vampires as a supposed faverite pass time. She then took her leave and went in a different direction then he. She acended the smaller housing then recollected the dress she had been wearing before. Then under the sight of nobody, she shifted back and changed back into the dress that she still disliked.

Hazel then was missing for about an hour further then she returned to the castle, where she passed one of the three princes of La Naan who merely gave a nod of the head. Hazel seemed like she was fuming with fury, she went into her room and kicked out the servent that was in her housing room for the time being for her stay.

Her purple eyes glared then at her reflection, she still wondered where on the green earth; Demetri had gotten to, she looked up to see Eles's reflection in the mirror. Looking at her as to wordlessly ask what was wrong. She smacked the surface of the oak table before her then turned around. "That Jerk! He waltz into the arena and wins then just like every other egotastical knight... he just thinks hes got free reign to do whatever..." she waved her hands in the air for a second then turned back to the mirror. Eles made a comment to the effect that she was perhaps just over reacting a little. She picked up a small dagger on the table and turned back around pointing the blade towards him, but there was much safe distance between them. "I am over reacting?! You know what people are saying? Do you know what people are chattering about? He thought Lunatta was like me!! The sly vampire that kills vampires, your appreientice when ever shes around!! Appearently he thought me and her were one in the same, how sick! Oh just wait til I get my hands on him again!! I'll kill him!..." she protested with a small fit of frustration and anger. Eles walked over to her and took the dagger out of her hand and she groaned as she walked over to her bed. She then flopped backwards on the bed and hugged a pellow tight to her body with those delicate hands.
