Demitri felt better. She had forgiven him. This feeling was monetary short lived as when he felt the coffin thrashed to one side.When it opened and he saw the faces and the emblem of his kingdom he grew nervous . Not good not good. I forgot I dispatched them before I left all that time ago.' He saw the male using his sharp nails to grip poor seemingly defenseless Hitori. She seemed to be so passive towards the vampire, he was awe struck by the mere sight she was just kindly asking them to leave, unlike what her mother would have done. The old queen would have slaughtered them both on the spot for dare touching her. ' Stop you idiots! Your ruining everything. I need to stop this... It needs to end now before they kill Hitori.' He thought in a slight panic.


Just as he was about to transform the female vampire grab him and put him in a firm hold. "You know your kind of cute.I known I make you my kitty from now on," I'll be damned if I let you. I already have problems enough being Hitori's pet. Now on hand me you sad exuse for a subject!! Demitri bit her hard. He felt her warm blood on his fangs, she must had recently fed, oh how sweet it tasted on his tongue. He had no time to enjoy it because he had more important things to do, like save a princess however cliche' it might have been. Demtiri quickly transformed and turned around. That's when his eyes grew wide and he became lost in the sight of Hitori. Hitori's was in her demon form beating the life out of that vampire. But he could not give up the sight of Hitori, she seemed so monsterous and dangerous but yet, still she was so beautiful. Her features were that of a demon which seemed somewhat familar to him but he could not recall the name of said demon. She moved with grace and around her, it seemed time grew somewhat slowed and he could not draw his eyes away from her. For a few gut wrenching moments Demitri just watched in horror and amazement, he did not understand why he noticed that her features were still beautiful.

He spoke under his breath finally coming back to reality "He going to die. A hopeless cause... I doubt I can pry him away from Hitori," He watched as she cast scrafice.The very spell that destoried his dear brother, Demitri was left in aww for a few seconds before rage started to fill him; the mere thought of his brother having to suffer through such a horrid spell that put one in screaming agony only added to his rage. He needed to stop this fight right now before Hitori turned on the girl vampire next. He charged his aura around him"That's enough." His voice sounded like thunder as it echoed through out the room as he released his aura in a sound wave all around him. Demitri staring directly at Hitori. His eyes showed anger but it went away and was replaced with a worry look. Demitri spun around and grab the female shirt and lifted her up so she was looking at him face to face."I am only going to tell you an order and you best follow it. Go back to the kingdom and tell them the hit is off and shall be.All mission that are in this kingdom as of now are suspend." Demitri was giving the female vampire a cold death glare one that he felt made her tremble beneath his grasp. Demitri let go of her "Now go." He said in a commanding voice.

The vampire woman nodded and begged his forgiveness before scrambling off. Hitori held a glowing floating orb of orange light in her hand, it was that mangled vampire's life essence which she had stole. She closed her hand around the orb and it turned into strings of light and drove itself into her skin and she cried out in pain gripping her arm. Then the pain subsided and she seemed to return to normal non demon Hitori and walked up beside Demitri. She clasped her hands together and gave a soft smile and a blush. It was nice to see that he was the mighty ruler that everyone made him out to be, and for a fleeting moment it actually seemed somewhat attractive.

Then it came upon her that something must have happened to Poise and a look of horror and concern came across her face. "Oh no!! Poise!! Poise!!," she cried out in concern. She rushed out of the room and into the living area where he laid on the floor, nearly drained of all his blood. He was in pain, the woman vampire unharmed was at Poise's side. She tried to explain but Hitori just raised up a hand and stopped her. "It does not matter!! I will take care of Poise... Just get Eles back here," she ordered the female vampire, the female vampire nodded and ran up stairs, nearly crying.

Hitori got on her knees beside Poise, she knew what she needed to do but she was sure Demitri might not enjoy seeing it. She pulled a dagger from her boot and she lightly made a careful just a small scratch across her wrist. Just enough to make a few bits of blood to make Poise's instincts kick in. She placed her wrist to his lips and a few seconds he bit into her wrist. She whinced but only for a moment, then she hid the pain with a soft smile as she watch Poise drink from her wrist.

He saw Hitori take in the glowing orb. Is that what i think it is. It pure energy. it's life. Life from him.What she going to do with it Demitir started to panic a little when he heard Hitori scream in pain. It was a sound he has grown to dread when ever he hears it. Because it meant she was in pain. yet there was nothing he could do. He let out the air that was in throat when she settled down. He saw her change back to her normal form and walk up to him. For an odd reason she started to blush. He began to ponder what could of made her blush when she start yelling about Poise. before he could say a word she was out of the room."Ok..... I guess I go look for her and see whats up" All a sudden a filmier smell caught Demitri nose. It was a sweet smell. Then it hit him like a ton of bricks. It was Hitori blood. "Dont tell me the blood crazy idiot after her again" Demitri ran thought the dark halls until he came upon the room where Hitori was at. He saw her on the ground from around as he was walking to the entrance of the room. As he got to the entrance he saw Poise on the ground drinking Hitori blood from her wrist. Demitri immediately let out a low growl. Then he noticed all the pool of dark red blood on the ground. he traced the pool to the source which was Poise. I see she trying to save him... Demitri face that had been showing hints of anger went away. Demitri walked outside the room and lend up against the wall near the door entrance. i guess it the same as me. She only allowed me to have her blood because I needed to live just like him. I guess I most of over thought what she meant when she let me have her blood. She just doing out of the kindness of her heart. Wanting to save people. the word people stuck in his head. Demitri grew lost in thinking in his head.

Hitori let Poise drink from her veins, knowing he would not take too much. Poise stopped and ripped off a peice of cloth from his shirt and wrapped it tightly around her wrist to help. Hitori looked at him softly as he thanked her but he also warned her not to so quickly to stress her body. Eles came into the room, his eyes laid upon Poise and he let out a sigh of relief seeing that he was alright. He then looked to Hitori and picked her up from the floor cradling her in his arms. "Eles... Don't worry about me... I am fine, where is Demitri... Did I upset him?," she fussed at Eles as he carried her off into a bed room. He laid her body gently on a bed and brought the covers over her. Hitori knew better then to agrue to Eles about this and just laid there taking in the old scent of the sheets. Her eyes softened and she looked away, she wondered if she had made Demitri angry by helping Poise. "I do not need rest, Eles I am fine," she tried to protest but he would not hear of it.

He walked outside the door and sought out Demitri who leaned against a wall in that look upon his face. Eles knew that look but he had expected that Demitri and the young queen were doing such things together. Eles made a comment to Demitri saying that Hitori wanted him and he needed to go in there so that she could rest.

Demitri let out a sigh. I think to much. Demtri reluctantly decided to go back in. The walk behind him creaked once his body weight was off it. He proceed to the entrance. He looked over to see Poise on the ground. Demtri could smell the blood of Hitori that was dripping from his fangs. In worldly Demitri frowned. It seems he going to make it. Demitri moved his gaze over to the bed where Hitori laid . She looked very tired. She must of gave him a lot of blood. Demitri walked over to her bed side." You look tired. You must of gave him alot of blood. It be best if you rested. I go get you some food to help regain your strength when you awaken.As for now you should get some sleep" Demitri did not directly look at her when he spoke. He was looking at the top of her head. His voice only hinted at bit of concern for her welling. With that Demitri turned around. He was going to go leave. He felt unconformable being there next to her after his realization just moments ago.

Hitori looked at Demitri with a soft expression as he did not even look at her when he spoke to her. It was like he was just simply talking at her rather then talking to her. It was like she was caught in the cycle of being with her mother again, her mother for some unknown reason would not look upon her or take notice of her. Hitori's eyes widened as he turned his back on her and started to walk away from her. Hitori just knew he would get upset, she just knew it. Never had Hitori ever seemed to anything right and it seemed Hitori had did everything all wrong once again. Hitori bolted up from the bed and ran across the room to him and grabbed a handful of his clothing before she fell to the floor, really too weak to stand.

Hitori sounded like she was on the verge of crying. "Don't do that... Mother would look at me like that... I am sorry, I knew you would be upset... I am sorry," she whined still holding fast on his clothing, the only thing keeping her from collasping on the floor. She held her head low not wanting to look straight up at him. "I never do anything right... Nothing I do is ever good enough," she cried out.

Demitri turned around and wrapped his arm around Hitori waist in one motion.He then knelled down and picked up her legs. He was now holding her bridle style. This time Demitri crimson red eyes were staring at Hitori's eyes." I 'am...."Demitri stumble for a bit with his words."sorry." Demitir began to walk her back to the bed."You wrong too.You have done many things right. For one thing you helped saved his life just now over there. You working to make peace and not war. So dont sell your self short. You made great strives. Listening to others is a big one. Don't worry abut small mistakes because we all do. Like how I made that mistake that caused all this mess.I totally forgot about the mission I had in place before I meet you. But now you need to rest ok." Demitri laid Hitori down on the bed. He pulled up the blue lien covers over her and tucked her in."An no getting out of your bed till you rest ok." Demitri said in a playful voice. " I go get you some food and bring back here ." Demitri was about to leave when he stopped and turned around." I almost forgot . I can tell it by looking in your eyes you think I am mad at you. I 'am not mad at for anything. All you did was just save his life by giving him your blood which he needed. Like you would did for me. Now please sleep. We head to the tournament when you wake up."

Hitori blinked feeling his cold embraced again, his eyes looked at him softly and she did not protest when he lifted her up and put her back in the bed safely. Hitori nodded when he told her to get some rest and not to get up until she did. She gently grasped his hand for a moment the slowly let go looking up at him.


Hitori closed her eyes shortly after he walked out of the room and once Demitri left the confines of the bedroom; Eles closed the door behind him. He then placed himself in Demitri's way. "You have seen her true self... From the mangled body of that vampire in there I know you seen it... You also might be familar with the speices... A dream demon... Like the king of the demon kingdom... Well I don't want you telling her anything cause the royals have worked so hard to keep her from knowing the truth... Shes a product of such a foul relationship and betrayal... The king of the demon kingdom now is her father... He swooned her mother then betrayed her and forced her against the vampires... He was one of the reasons she changed her veiws on vampires... This is someting she must never know cause she could not handle the truth atleast not now... She can barely survive without Oujien guiding her hand," Eles warned him in a low tone, almost whispering the words to him. Then he stepped out of the way, Demitri was getting somewhere with the traditor vampires. The woman that acted like Eles's lover sat on the back of the coach giving him a glare but she remained silent and still. Poise now was leaning against a wall, clearly not happy with what he had done to Hitori; perhaps his words were all bluff that he did not want to ever hurt Hitori because he looked guilty standing there.



In a matter of hours Hitori was up and about and back to her usual cheerful self. She had no idea that a whole night had gone by while she slumbered and Darres came down the steps and the vampires glared at Darres how a vampire looked upon a vampire slayer. He shifted uncomfortably and Hitori giggled and greeted him in a friendly mannor. "My Lady... It is time to leave... Its morning," he announced in a respectful manner.

Demitri looked around as they entered La Naan. It was an impressive city even if the soon to be ruler was a pom piss a**. I haven't been here for a while. Lat time I was here I left my mark. Demitir chuckled to himself Quite literally too. He looked up at Hitori who was taking in the sights as well. He noticed a black mark under her chin. It seems she stills has a few marks left on her from my training. I mean I swear it like she does not want to learn at all. At least I got her to under stand the fundamentals. She still needs work with doing advance spells but she getting it. She is talented after all. Along with her beauty.. wait Demitri looked in awa at her for a few seconds before shacking his head. He pawed at his ears I need to stop thinking about that. All I 'am is her companion. I only with her because I a necessity to her to get this peace. I mean nothing else to her. Demitri pushes all thoughts of any romantic feelings for her aside. She had made it clear she just saw him as a friend nothing more.

Hitori looked around then finally they came to a stop not far from the city. There to greet them was a half vampire with crimson eyes and blonde hair. He was a dreamy looking fellow, a real prince charming. Eles got down and looked at the half vampire with judging eyes. "Armone... The commander of La Naan's Army... the half vampire that could strike fear in a vampire if they knew what was good for them," Eles said then Armone gave a sly little smile. His eyes looked to Hitori who instantly blushed when they were laid upon her.


In a matter of hours Hitori was up and about and back to her usual cheerful self. She had no idea that a whole night had gone by while she slumbered and Darres came down the steps and the vampires glared at Darres how a vampire looked upon a vampire slayer. He shifted uncomfortably and Hitori giggled and greeted him in a friendly mannor. "Wonderful lady Hitori... I hear once again, your princess kiss and the evening with you at the royal ball is the prize for the knight's tornament.... Perhaps I shall compete this year for that prize...," Armone said, walking up to her and taking her hand and assisting her down. He knelt before her and softly kissed her hand giving her a handsome smile as he rose up again. Hitori blushed and giggled girlishly "And I am sure you will win, Armone... I mean you are just a knight that out does all... You sure it will be fair for you to compete, I mean you being such a powerful knight and all," She replied in a dreamy tone, she looked at him softly, she was flirting with him a bit and he seemed to be revealing in the moment.


He kissed her hand again "All is fair in love and war my dear... And I am love with your beauty... There is no princess or royal maiden that can compair to your beauty... I shall go see to it that your room is perpaired, you be careful... I hear you have to compete in the wizard tornament after the knights tornament... thats only a few days," he said before waltzing off after bowing to her deeply and respectfully. She waved good bye to him then leaned back and put a hand over her heart blushing maddly. "Be still my beating heart!!! Oh hes such a charmer!! I just know he will win! Hes such a handsome guy and hes skills as a knight are simply lengendary," he almost sang out the words. Darres looked at her and sighed. "Oh brother!! Give me a break, hes half vampire Hitori," Darres bursted into her dream bubble. Hitori glared at him then stomped on his foot in a frustrated manner then stuck her nose up in the air.

Demitri could here all that Hitori said. He wanted to bang his head against the wall till blood came out of his ears. It appeared she had her crush already and his name was Armone. He remember Armone from long ago.I wonder if its against the rules to take fights outside the ring. Demitri said to himself as he careful watched Armone walk away. I heard of you Armone. I know your strengths but I also know your weakness. Your are indeed very strong. However you are also very thickheaded. Always confident that everything going to plan. That and your weakness for beautiful women. All is fair in love and war. Let just see if your willing to accept those terms. Demitri began to remember the plan he put in place while Hitori was asleep. He then looked up at Hitori. She was beautiful even when she was acting childish. If you only knew how I felt. Demitri let out a small sigh.

Hitori sighed in a dreamy manner, she snapped back to reality when Eles decided to make a wise crack. "Careful.... He might bite... Don't be so quick to get all worked up over it, Hitori... Remember there are knights that come from far cities to compete in this tornament... Your kiss might be the prize of a total stranger," Eles said talking very logically and honestly. Hitori put a hand on her hip holding Demitri with her one arm and she stared at Eles then stuck out her tongue at him childishly. "Eles... Don't make all this boring... Its bad enough that aunty forces me to do it cause its tradition, let me have what little diginity I have left...," Hitori fussed at Eles. Eles looked at her from the corners of his eyes then smirked. He shrugged his shoulders then waltzed off, she did not know to where he was wondering off to but he was a grown accient vampire with the symbol of their kingdom on his neck, she thought that he could handle himself well enough in this vast confusing kingdom.

Hitori blinked as a orange haired girl with beautiful curls walked up to Hitori, This girl was slightly younger in age and height. She also appeared to be lacking up top as well when it came to breasts. She was dressed in the finest of clothes, dressed like a true noble, she seemed a bit stuck up and snobbish as well; if she held her nose any higher she would run into things. "Dutchess Lenore... You have gotten bigger since I last saw you.... You look very stunning," Hitori greeted the fine rich girl in a elegant manner with a bow.

She scuffed and held up a gloved hand. She turned her eyes on Hitori and she seemed upset and frustrated with the mere sight of Hitori before her. Lenore stomped her foot and then tapped it seraval times seeming to think of the right words to speak to Hitori with like she was a commoner who was very slow and low class. A commoner who was no more then a theif and not worth her dear time. "Tch! Tch! Tch! Nice try you little scamp... Blood always on your hands still... You just can't ever seem to wash it off can you, going insane slowly and painfully... Its surprizing the vampires have not gotten to your throat yet... Don't think I will go easy on you in the tornment... It will be you and me again and this time I will finally win the heart of Edward... No more will he be trapped in your horrid cage of heart play," Lenore announced with a firm shake of a finger in Hitori's face. Hitori blinked and stared at her like she lost her mind, she pushed Lenore's hand away from her face. "Child! Your mind is still lost... I do not care for Edward's love, you can have him believe me... I would love nothing more then for him to quit perposing to me and offering for us to destory all vampire kind together," She corrected the girl in a firm manner.

Lenore crossed her arms and eyed Hitori in disbelief and smirked. "Oh please!! Don't think I see right through that trash that you are, Hitori! You are playing him like a fiddle and enjoying every minute of it... You desire to dangle him about to make everyone else jealous... Well I shall thrash you in the wizard tornament and that will be no more," Lenore cried out then stormed off like some little child, awaiting her sure victory. Hitori sighed then rubbed her forehead, that child was addicted to Edward real bad and because Edward liked Hitori; she always was trying to find ways to make Hitori's life a living hell.

Morning can and the sun arose the royal court grounds .Knights have assemble up in a line for the tournament which would be starting in a few hours. The tournament manager was going down the list of knights participating in the tournament. He came up to the last knight in the line. The knight was wearing black steal armor that had an ancient symbol in the color of red on his chest plate. The knight wear a helmet that hide his face along with a long cape he wore that had the same symbol that was on his armor. The manager looked up at him."What your name?"he said in a quite voice.The knight's appearance obviously was very intimidating. The figure spoke without stuttering."Moon.". Some other knights over heard this and began to chuckle."Umm ok Moon what kingdom are you representing?". There was a pause for about a few seconds before the knight spoke again." I'am a knight that comes from the far away kingdom of Apocryphal.". The manager looks through his list but couldn't find him on the list. Instead of making a big deal about it the manager just shrugged it off and wrote the knights name on the roaster.

Hitori was pretty much tortured in the absence of Demitri, she would kill him later for running off and leaving her to fend for herself. Her aunt's maids got ahold of her and put her into a more innocent maiden looking outfit of lighter colors that caught the eye and seemed like nothing that Hitori would be caught dead in. After one toture came another, and then another; finally she couldn't take it anymore and she ran off and escaped. To ensure that Eles and Darres wouldn't be utterly pissed that she ran off. She went where they would be found but where they would be, was the last place she wanted to be seen in this outfit.

Knights looked up from where they were training to stare as Hitori entered the open area. Hitori blinked and a bright blush formed across her cheeks which didn't help the innocent look she carried at all; it only served to make her look like the pure maiden. Darres finally looked up to figure out what the other knights were staring at in awe and he put his hand over his mouth then he burst into luaghter.

There stood Hitori, in a white and gold dress that ended at her knees, she wore cute light brown boots with a bit of heel to make her a bit taller. She had her hair done up and what hair was down was tied up in cute little braids that flowed with the wind. She wore a taira with fresh flowers in the hair around it and to compelete the look was a white small veil that stopped just a little passed her shoulders resting on her back. "Hitori... What happened to you? Auntie's maids get ahold of you?... Never would you wear that outfit on your own free will... I figure she got tired of you never getting kissed each year we have done this," Darres joked as he walked up to her.

Her eyes formed into a glare and she grabbed ahold of the edge of his cloak and moved it out infront of her body to cover herself so the knights weren't staring at her body anymore. Hitori looked at the ground in a deeply embarressed manner. "Shut up Darres! This is not funny, they put a corset on me, I can't hardly breathe...And Edward is not leaving me alone," Hitori complained a little in a soft manner and Eles hoped down from the stadium seats and into the ring to land close by Hitori.

In a fatherly comforting manner without looking at her, he gently put a gentle hand on the back of her head and she settled down a bit. "They are dressing you like a human princess... A innocent maiden of the puriest quality... Your discomfort comes with that, appearently its not tight enough cause your still able to breathe enough to complain... Atleast you look ateable now," Eles said in a calm and cold manner.

Well she was being comforted until Eles ruined it all by making jokes out of it all, she smacked his hand away from her head with one hand and glared up at him. She was not too happy right now, she was not comfortable in this outfit on so many levels, she didn't like how the guys had been staring at her. It was compeletely embarressing. "Ha! Ha! Yeah... we get it, its vampire pay back time for them to make fun of the princess while shes in mistery... Now seriously... Do I have to wear this awful outfit?" Hitori asked in a begging manner. Darres and Eles both looked at each other then gave a nod. "I am afraid so if it is what the queen of La Naan desires... Its only for a day... don't make such a fuss, now I really should get back to practice," Darres said in a soft manner and she whimpered a little, she did not mainly his cloak to leave her. Eles sighed and had her let go of Darres's cloak then used his own side of his black cloak to block the veiw so that Darres was free.

The manager over heard Hitori complaining about what she was wearing.After he was done drooling over her figure he went over to her and bowed."Good morning princess Hitori it is an honor and privilege to meet you. I was hoping if you could give us a moment of your time to talk with the knights that are competing in today's tournament. I sure with your words of encouragement to them it will harder their resolve." The manager ushered her over to where the knights were waiting in a line.ll of them began to take their helmets off to get a better look at her. They were eying all over her beautiful young body.She became the center of their private dreams. All but one knight who still stood fast and had not removed his helmet. No one could see it but beneath the helmet the knight had a deep scarlet blush across his checks.I see your looking as beautiful as ever Hitori
