Rachel was doing her best to watch her steps and keep Lolly calm. When they moved on and ran into a larger group that started yelling at them Lolly got scared. She circled around Rachel trying to find a quiet spot. Not getting one she freaked and yanked at the chain pulling Rachel down. Hitting the cement she lost her hold on the leash and Lolly ran off away from the paparazzi and towards the quiet of the park.

It felt like her knees were bleeding and her hand was scraped up a bit but Lolly was her concern. Getting to her feet she sprinted after her dog. "Lolly!"

((Yes it is but the US is obsessed with having food clean and dirt is not clean according to them.))

When Rachel hit the ground, Dante started helping her up.

"Can you stand? I can go find Lolly by myself if you can't walk," he said, trying to keep an eye on Lolly at the same time.

((Australia is less picky about that, down south there's a popular tourist tradition of paying to go to an orchard, they give you a bag and you fit as many apples or whatever into it as you can, and people eat them right off the trees.))

"I am fine, help me get Lolly please." Lolly was her best friend and she was freaking out she would get away and get hit by a car or something. Suddenly a camera flashed in her face and the sudden light made her almost blind so she lost sight of Lolly." Pulling a few treats out of her pocket she gave them to Dante. "I will go right, you left. Call if one of us gets her." Without waiting for a response she went off to the right.

((That is popular in the US too but it is advisable to wash the fruit since it is spayed with buy stuff. I have eaten fruit without washing it. I prefer to wash it though I like the water drops on it when I eat it. I know I am odd.))

Dante nodded and went off to look for her, calling out and holding one of the treats up for her to see.

((I like to wash apples then put them in the fridge to get later. I prefer apples to be cold when I eat them.))

Rachel looked around for her dog worried something might happen to her. A few of the paparazzi had followed her and were snapping pictures as fast as they could while she searched. Doing her best to ignore them she wanted to tell them to leave so she could find Lolly in peace.

Lolly was hiding under a bush, a bit of the leash was on the edge of the sidewalk and she was whimpering softly.

((I use to like them cold until I had braces now having them cold hurts my teeth to bite into them.))

"Lolly! Come here, girl! Where are you? I have yummy treats for you!" he called, walking up and down the area.

((That sucks, maybe there's a toothpaste that will help.))

Rachel was trying to lose the annoying paparazzi but not having any luck. "Leave me alone!" Rushing away she took several turns and then finally stopped in a darker area.

Dante was near where Lolly was and she heard his voice. Crawling out of the bush and laying on the sidewalk behind him she whined.

((I use a toothpaste that does help some thankfully it is only with cold things I have to bit with my front teeth so things like fruit and popsicles I either have to cut up or just lick and not bite.))

Dante heard her and took her leash, then gave her the treat. He pulled out his phone phone and called Rachel's pink one. He made sure to have a strong grip on the leash so she couldn't run again, even tying the middle to a lamp post and hanging onto the end so she couldn't yank free of his hand.

"Good girl, Lolly."

((I have sensitive teeth too, if my back ones touch anything cold, I recoil, but I can deal with it if I eat quickly. Cold drinks aren't so much of an issue, just cold food. It varies, some days it hurts more than others but it's worth it for yummy food.))

Lolly was staying right next to Dante. She kept brushing against his leg and had her ears and tail down flat.

Rachel heard her phone ring and answered it. "Did you find her?" Paparazzi were still all around her yelling questions at her in Japanese.

((The weather makes is vary for me when it is cold out it is not so bad but when it is hot out it tends to hurt more.))

"Yes, I have her. I'm near the east gate, by the duck pond."

He stroked Lolly's head with his free hand and quietly tried to soothe her.

Rachel had no clue where that was. "Dante I do not want to go to you, the paparazzi are all with me. Can I meet you back at the hotel?"

Lolly pressed against his leg harder doing her best to stay near him where it was fairly quiet.

"Yeah, I figured you wouldn't know. I'll meet you in the hotel reception?"

He looked at Lolly. "Shh, girl, it's okay, you'll be fine."

"Alright then, it might take me a bit to get there. Do not lose Lolly again please." She hung up the phone and tried to figure out which way the hotel was so she could get back.

Lolly was still staying close to Dante.

Dante untied the leash and left the park with Lolly, moving quickly so no one had the chance to snap a half decent photo.

He arrived back at the hotel ten minutes later, with his phone switched on. He sat down to wait for Rachel.

Lolly jumped up putting her paws on his leg. At times she acted like a lap dog.

About ten minutes after Dante arrived Rachel made it back. Leaves were in her hair, she had dirt on her face and coat. Her knees had dried blood on them and she was out of breath. "They are like hounds once they get your scent they never leave."
