► She mainly played them to pass the time really, looking back it was rather fun, but childhood was a lot more simple than being a young adult. Had focus, but not the money, time, eh school breaks and all. “I always enjoyed being outside…was refreshing.” Was a rather shy child she liked the idea of friends but never really got the guts to talk out to most of them. She believed a lot in friendship, love, hope, e.c.t. Can’t comprehend them completely…but always just…knows they are there, her love for her child was true, and anyone who said love didn’t exist she wouldn’t be willing to discuss, a world without emotions is nothing, and she would rather die than live in it. Her main problem was accepting the harshness of human nature, always believing everyone has a good side, only two people has she ever given up on, her father and her ex and even then, she is very sad her father would do this. Wasn’t ever a violent person, wasn’t ever heartless, she sometimes believed certain people deserved what they got, but tried not to hate people, but then she often clung to the positive, being negative would just bring her down.

► Could easily feel his unstable aura, though she never made a comment on it, he’d done nothing seriously against her yet and did not wish to anger the male. He was dead right on what would happen to her, although she would not willing abort, so her father and ex would most likely beat her stomach into a miscarriage, they couldn’t drag her to a doctor to have an abortion against her will, the doctor would only call the police, taking Destiny to hospital would be a mistake by her father and ex, and they both knew that, sadly for her. Noticing the male look up from his book, she gave him a shy smile. “Um…thank you, I’ll try not to be afraid. You may be a stranger, but that isn’t always a bad thing.” As long as he did not remain a stranger she supposed. She could tell he was bad at comforting people, so assumed he’d never had to or wanted to in the past, so she appreciated the attempt.

► Fear was not useful, but she couldn’t help it, she’d been scared since being on the run, it made her more vulnerable and she hated being vulnerable, the princess’s needing to be protected, she loathed that idea, but alas she had no choice currently. Hearing that he’d by a funnel next time, she blushed slightly. “That’s…really sweet of you.” She could tell he was a more serious personality than herself, well she was serious when needed but tried to be able to lighten up, so she appreciated the humour. Never knew anything about ripping people off, the only ‘bad skill’ she had was pick pocketing, and that was when she was low on cash, and she felt bad enough about that as it was. Hearing the males question she quickly turned to him and picked up her phone and passed it to him. “I’m not sure…can you check?” Isn’t exactly use to being tracked, so would not know personally. Either way she needed to stay in contact with her mother, even if it meant keeping that phone, she didn’t have the cash for a new phone and a new number to call her mother.

Gary shrugged. No, being a stranger can be a very bad thing. She should be afraid of him more than her family. She said that it was sweet of him to want to get a funnel. He chuckled and put down his book. He took the phone and looked the thing over and played with every setting. Just as he thought. There was a GPS tracker, in case the phone was lost. That wasn't good. Why did every phone in the freaking modern world have this feature? It didn't help con men like him. He cleared his throat and walked to his cash register. He threw her phone in the register and handed the girl a prepaid phone. "I wouldn't trust it. There is software from the company to trace the phone if it's lost. I have a friend that can take it off, but call your mother on this one and tell her to call you on the number in the back of the phone."

He pocketed her phone and yawned. "I'll have to go and give my friend the phone. But time is not of the essence right now. From what I saw, your father and ex are in the next city over. They shouldn't be here for a day or so." He sat back down on his makeshift bed. "When do you want to see the doctor? I don't know a thing about pregnancy and that sort of thing. My parents were barely parents, you know?" That was some Freudian slip. It was doubtful one would get more out of Gary on the subject of his family.
