"She's kind of weird." "She looks like she talks to spirits or something." "Why is she so stuck up?" "She never approaches anyone."

Those were just a few of the things she had heard during the first week there. It wasn't like she was trying to be anti-social or anything. Did the people not realize what it was like to come to a new school in a whole new providence? It wasn't really comfortable and it was clear that everyone already had their little cliches. No one approached her just the same and the few that had, she spoke to happily. Ami made it very clear that she was friendly and approachable; she was just shy when it came to approaching strangers.

That didn't change things, she guessed. Ami still sat alone in the back of the class, chin in the palm of her hand, as she doodled idly in the margins of her note book. The teacher made her final announcement just as the bell rung and everyone stood up to take their lunch break. Ami made her way through the hallways and towards her locker, ignoring the looks several of the students gave her, unfamiliar with her face or name. Playing around a bit with the lock, Ami managed to finally get it open and she pulled out her lunch box, replacing the empty space with her books for now before she headed towards the cafeteria. Outside, the benches were already full and the grass here was sharp, so she didn't want to sit on it. However it didn't look much better in the cafeteria either; most of the tables were full and Ami's heart raced with the idea of having the sit in the middle of a bunch of strangers.

She walked slowly through the rows of tables, glancing from one to the other. Most people ignored her, too busy talking to their friends, but a few looked at Ami or apologized that a spot was taken. Finally, towards the back, there seemed to be an empty table and she breathed out a breath of air before walking towards it confidently, taking a seat. If she sat down first, maybe she wouldn't be kicked out. Hopefully no one claimed the table, though a few students still looked towards her and snickered when they saw where she was sitting. "Aah.. Today seemed more exhausting. I miss Moiri," she mumbled as she opened her lunch box and then grabbed her phone out of her purse, a smile on her face as she flipped it open to see a few messages from her friends at the other school. It was nice to know they missed her as much as she was missing them; her best friend Moiri especially. Ami took the time to reply to a couple of the messages before she quietly began to eat, playing some kind of uppity pop music from her phone.

...There is darkness inside all of us, though mine is more dangerous than most. Still, we all have it — that part of our soul that is irreparably damaged by the very trials and tribulations of life. We are what we are because of it, or perhaps in spite of it. Some use it as a shield to hide behind, others as an excuse to do unconscionable things, but truly, the darkness is simply a piece of the whole, neither good nor evil unless you make it so...

It was six in the morning, the early sun lit inside the room waking up the brown haired young male, who hoped for some more sleep. Well, not every plan works out the way we want, will they? Dmitri lied on his bed on his stomach. His legs and arms were spread across the bed resting them on the pillows and half of the blanket, the other half was covering him. His face was turned on a side, at least he could breathe that way, and the sun could tease him... He opened half of his eyes scanning through his room pushing himself to make a lazy move with his left arm. He seemed like who is looking for something or someone? Though he had to realize he can't find the thing or the person he was looking for, so with some munching he pulled himself up in a leaning position. The tattooed boy buried his right hand in his hair scratching his head a bit, what was followed by a big yawn, while he slide his legs down of the bed edge and sat up.

He looked around the room once again trying to put together the pieces of what he remembered from the last night. He leaned on his hands backward as he pushed them under the cover once again feeling something interesting with his fingers. He raised an eyebrow pulling out the small piece of clothes. His lips turned into a smirk realizing his company from the last night might forgot a small souvenir in his bed. Not like this would be something new for him.The light smirk faded away as fast as that showed up throwing the thong behind him letting himself fall back in the bed before his day really begin.

He was living alone in a pretty big house and even if he was young far away from his home, Russia. This was his second year in that school, but already he was there the black sheep. People constantly gossiped of him, sometimes the true, other times lies, though he didn't complained, he wasn't the type, beside he was taught he is not allowed. He sough deeply placing his palms on his forehead brushing his bangs behind thinking through the whole day what was waiting for him. First day of this week, an other five day to survive without letting his other slefs out, an other war...

Arriving in the schools parking place, Dm stepped down from his night black Ninja, taking down his helmet and enjoying the feeling as the wind what was playing with his croasson colored hair. Few seconds later he opened his golden eyes staring on the sky's blue endless, sighing heavily as began to walk toward the building together with some other students and teachers. He pulled out his phone from his pocket checking the time seeing satisfied he still have some minute left before the first class begins, so he made a way in the cafeteria. Walking inside the place he could spot some of his colleges and some others who all were staring at him, though he didn't really care. Somehow he got used with that.

Buying his coffee his next way leaded on the yard, where he smoke a cigarette and drank calmly his coffee before his first classes began. Everyone knew he was smoking, even the teachers knew that, though none dared to say anything. In the school roamed some dark story about him. One of the stories said he was the butcher in the russian mafia. He wanted to leave the mob, but they didn't let him, so he had to square up the whole crew, this was when he came here. Other stories talk about he has some secret powers and he is able to kill a person without touching it, again other stories says about his serious mental problems, who knows which of those says the truth...

After finishing the first classes Dm made his way into the caffeteria. He stopped at the counter buying some food, then turned around and made his way to his table. Dm usually sat behind, others not even daring to bother him... until this day. Making his way confidently he spotten a small being as she was sitting there facing away. He stopped in his way narrowing his eyes and raising an eyebrow, what continued the big silent. Suddenly the whole room stopped talking staring at the boy and his reaction. This big silent hit the young male ears and looked around, but only from the corner of his eyes. to confute their hopes and thinks, the boy without saying a word he sat to the table, in front of the girl and began to eat his burger, what he bought before...

The silence went unnoticed by the young girl, she was too busy listening to the music that came out from the phone and eating her food. When it came down to it, Ami could always throw out extra noise and was a master at selective hearing. Which got her in trouble from time to time and got stories all kinds of backwards but it wasn't usually anything she couldn't fix in the end. In the end, Ami looked up when she saw someone from the corner of her eye. Frankly, it looked like trouble. She glanced around in search of others joining but it seemed to be just the one guy. Everyone else was looking at them again, the second time since she had approached this table.

What was all of that about? Ami looked around one more time before back in front of her, where the stranger took a seat. He looked like he was good for some kind of fight. Not someone she would try to smart off too. Probably bring him candy or something instead. But he sat down without saying a word and just began to eat his food, which made it even that much more awkward for some reason. She sat there and took a few more bites of her own food, her eyes remaining cautiously on Dmitri before she finally sat up straight and offered him a smile.

"Hello," she said finally, her voice betraying her Asian heritage. Not that there weren't other obvious features she carried but regardless of that. Clearing her throat, Ami took a drink of her juice before she crossed her ankles together idly and pinched her lips together. "I'm sorry. Is this your table? I can move if you'd like. I didn't see any other open spots," she explained. With the way this guy looked, she couldn't image the types of people he hung out with. Needless to say, she did not want to be in their way when it was time for them to eat.

                                                            ooc// Sorry it's short. I'm at work.

Dm not really caring with the others or with the person in front of him sat down and began to eat. Obviously nor the young lady cared too much with him, until she was busy with her music, but as soon as she noticed him began to be nice. He hated when someone acted in front of him, and her smile wasn't anything near real one.
Dmitri frowned his eyebrows staring on her without saying anything, then slide his gaze on the others who suddenly became very attentive again. Dm kinda began to get tired of being in the spotlight, so again did something what none of the others expected him to do. "Tch... Like you could any else where find a free seat..." He said in kinda hostile way, though you have to forgive him, he was raised this way, beside he didn't trust anyone.

When the others saw the new girl could get closer to him, than anybody else of this school, some of the popular girls quickly began to gossip. One of them decided to end their friendship before that could any deepen. Most of the girls had a crush in him, not like he cared with any of them, he even "stepped on some toes" when he simply walked away beside the most popular chick in the school, without listening what she had to say to him.
Actually the young male was a pretty patient and calm personality if we look on how short tempered he was. The truth is he always warn everyone when he lost his temper, the problem begins when they don't listen to this caution.

the longer she stood in front of him, the more he got used with her. Finally he could even look on the little shy girl without even frowning, though not being talkable he mostly just stood there silently.

OOC: That's fine. Mine is short too.

Ami kept her eyes on the stranger for a little while longer, watching him eat curiously. When he looked up at her life that, the girl was admittedly taken back some and her eyes widened; what was that for? She didn't say anything about it. Why on earth would she? Again, it wasn't like she was going to try to come up with ways to tick this stranger off. He didn't look like the type to handle joking too well, so Ami looked back down at her own lunch box and quietly popped an octo-dog into her mouth, munching away on the cooked weenie. The look she got did bother her some. Had she done something wrong by sitting here? Perhaps that was why everyone was looking at her the way they did when she even considered approaching the table. At one point, she looked up again to receive the same kind of scowl, only this time her own eye brows pushed together in confusion and concern. Looking around the cafeteria slowly to see if it was just her, she felt her stomach drop when she realized that people were still staring at them and some even making it obvious they were being talked about.

"Guess we're the stars of the show, huh? Ahaha.." Ami let out a nervous laugh as she looked back towards Dmitri, but he didn't seem to want to joke around with her just yet. She swallowed the lump in her throat and just took another drink from her juice box quietly, picking up her phone to bring about a distraction. A little get away from the discomfort. However, it wasn't long before a voice reached her ears. Thick and grouchy. Looking up, Ami wasn't sure how to take the response about sitting here in the first place. Was it a personal jab at her? Was he saying she couldn't find some place to call 'home' during lunch? Or was he just commenting on how busy the cafeteria was at the moment? Perhaps she was just reading too much into it and Dmitri didn't have any malicious intent towards her to begin with. However, Ami still kept silent. The whispers seemed to grow to full blown conversations and yet Ami didn't even realize the enemies she was probably already making with the popular cliches.

Finally, with determination, Ami inhaled slowly before she slammed both of her hands down on the table, the cellphone clicking upon contact. "You," she said with an almost demanding voice. "Your accent is funny. It doesn't sound like the other students here." With that said, Ami seemed to calm as she finished her lunch and closed the box, placing her phone on top. Soon enough, her palm reached up and rested under her chin, supporting her head as she idly watched Dmitri. "It's kind of neat. I'm Ami." If you can't beat them, try to join them.

Finally the tensed air began to ease as people slowly got used with this new picture. the noise began to increase once again right the way the motion. People began to care with their own business walking up and down in the cafeteria or out if front of it. Dm still was staring at the girl studding her moves silently, time by time peeking through her examining other students reaction. Obviously this new chick didn't let cold many of them in a way or other everyone had something with her. The brunette guy was so much preoccupied with scanning the view, then even forgot to eat his food, when the small girl trying to ease the tension between them said again something, in the end laughing obviously in a nervous way.

The boy turned back his attention on the young female smiling almost invisible, then loured his brows kind of feeling sorrow for her. "No, not WE are the stars of the show, just YOU..." he explained her finally in a calm friendly tone, with his bit choppy voice. His eyes still rested on her, while somewhat he could even see that one chick reaction, who once claimed him her propriety. "Was that a smile? I can't believe he smiled on her!" Echoed her his, from her back, what made the male even more enjoy his new company. He wasn't sure if she knew what she was doing, but he had to admit she was brave to making two of those things, what others wouldn't do. First she sat at his table, second she began to provoke miss queenbee.

Dmitry was a bit deepen in his thinks when his new company slammed her hands on the table and almost exclaimed. The male attention redirected again on her, still sitting calmly, the only reaction was of raising an eyebrow wondering on her phrase continue, then he slowly nodded, though her phrase reaction was again a deadly silence, everyone believing, without any exception, that she will get hurt now.
"I'm from Russia..." He said silently instead of the reaction what everyone expected from him. This was that moment when they began to wonder if anything was true about what they knew about him. While he was sitting with this new girl, he doesn't seemed so freaky anymore... After some pause adding: "My name is Dmitri."

His food rested only bitten on the table, when the male stood up. He didn't feel anymore to finish it, but because he knew how cruel here the students can be, mostly the girls he decided to not haunt the faith, cuz that might fulfill, so he just began to walk away.

Ami watched Dmitri silently. He seemed to be getting more calm around her. Like a stray dog who was finally taking up to the human that was trying to offer it some kindness. The lunch experience was a little unnerving, but overall it wasn't turning out as terrible as she originally thought it would be. Thank goodness for that. When Dmitri finally introduced himself to her, she couldn't help but to smile brightly at him for a moment. Russia? That was far from here. She wondered why he was away from his homeland? Probably the same reason she was away from her own; family moving for work. That kind of thing.

Before she knew it though, Dmitri was standing up and walking away, leaving her alone at the table. What just happened? This entire experience was unnerving. It simply made her miss home that much more, but she didn't think much of it. Instead, she grabbed his forgotten food and threw it away before she grabbed her box and phone and stood up to head outside to warm up a bit. Instead, what happened, was she instantly bumped into a taller blonde girl that approached her while she was distracted, knocking her phone out of her hand. It clattered loudly against the floor and Ami's heart skipped beats; did it just break? "You really should watch yourself more," Rebecca warned as she crossed her arms. "You're the new girl here. You better learn the rules real quick."

Ami stared at her for a moment without responding. Instead, she knelt down and picked up her phone and checked the screen; there was a ding now, but the screen wasn't broken at least. "I'm not sure what I've done to upset you, but please excuse me," she answered finally. Rebecca raised her eye brow before she laughed and reached out to give Ami a belittling pat on her head. Before her hand could touch though, Ami's hand shot up and grabbed Rebecca's wrist firmly, her face flushing red as her eye brows bunched together. "I'm not a dog. It is bad luck to pat someone on their head," she warned. Rebecca jerked her hand away quickly.

"You better watch yourself you little c***k," she warned as she started to walk back to her table. Ami watched her leave, standing alone at the table for a moment. She could feel all the eyes on her. Without another word, Ami licked her lips and looked down as she turned and quickly escaped outside, where the students there didn't see anything to judge her for. Outside was warmer and made Ami feel a little better. She walked along the side of the building, slowly making her way towards her next class before the bell could ring. The people here certainly weren't as polite as they were back home. What the hell did she do wrong already?

Laughing to herself, Ami stopped and took a seat in the grass, putting her bag beside her as she hugged her knees. "I can always eat in the nurses office," she said to herself.

"I highly doubt on that, but sure, go ahead, you may try it anytime you want." Sounded Dm voice as he hunkered beside her taking a smoke of his cigarette, staring in the same direction as the girl. Obviously she felt kind of alone, though he knew not he was the best company for her. He knew he can't be there all the time when she needed and even if before she handled pretty well the things, this was nothing what they would do. A deep sigh escaped his lips together with the cig fume as his golden eyes rested on the sky's blue.

To many memories were hidden on those eyes, too many secret was had he keep inside his soul and he couldn't share this burden with anyone else. Not just because he couldn't trust anyone, but because he didn't want to put out anybody on things on what he had to went trough.
Bit shaking his head, turned back into the reality looking down on the girl. "What will be your first class?" He asked flicking away the stripe, then he stood up.

One of the popular guys walked right there noticing them on the grass. An evil smirk showed up on his lips turning around and running quickly after his friends, who were still sitting in the cafeteria. For the Jog news Rebecca jumped up from her place and hit her palms on the table.
Dmitry just helped Amy to stand up when his attention moved on the crew what was walking toward them. Rebecca obviously was a bit pissed off, almost exploding from the anger as she stopped in front of the two. Dm looked on the blonde wondering what she has, though her eyes target were the small girl with who he was.
The russian boy saw her eyes narrowing grabbing the dark haired girl wrist and pulling behind. "Anything you have with her, you will have to discuss with me!" His eyes slowly began to change onto an icy blue color freaking not just her but even the others behind her.

This was one of Dmitri's secret. Nobody really could understand how he did it, but time by time his eyes color changed, this making him more scary. "So you think you can come here and just steal away him from me, you little..." Sounded the blonde annoyed his as she was yelling to the girl who were hidden behind her crush, but before she could finish up her phrase she was stopped by the male. "Think before you would use any word, what you might regret... Beside I already told you, I'm not anybodies propriety." Dm voice was still calm, but somehow it was changed, it sounded lot more cold and dark, then when his eye color is golden...

The sudden voice surprised Ami and she looked up quickly to see that it was Dmitri again. Didn't he go in the opposite direction? What was he doing here? It wasn't like the guy looked very happy to see her to begin with so she didn't know why he would want to try talking to her again. "Why wouldn't I? It's not something unusual," she said as he knelt down beside her. Ami made a face at the scent of the cigarette caressing her nose and she looked away a bit, scrunching her nose. Dmitri stood up and asked about her class and Ami looked up at him from her spot in the grass. "You mean...after lunch? It's gym," she said, then laughed and added, "Great way to work off lunch."

Seeing a hand offered in her direction, Ami blinked before she reached out and took a hold of it, allowing Dmitri to help her to her feet. Offering him a little thanks, Ami stared at the guy for a moment. Talk about bipolar. He was staring daggers at her a little while ago and now he was trying to be friendly? Her thoughts were pulled from that distraction though when the same gang as earlier came out with that Rebecca girl in the lead. What now? She seemed to be about to ask something when she was moved to stand more behind Dmitri and her face flushed in confusion and alert. Now was he trying to protect her? "I don't understand?" Ami explained when Rebecca began to accuse her of confusing things. "I'm not trying to take anyone?"

Her eyes shifted back up towards Dmitri in confusion. What was with this guy? No one talked to him and yet she was in trouble for him finding her?! Ami stayed quiet though, Dmitri doing the talking and threatening. She just watched the small mob out from behind Dmitri quietly, clutching her bag tightly in her hand. "That's not what you agreed to that one night," Rebecca pointed out as she placed a hand on her hip. "The stupid girl must have some kind of language barrier. Why the hell do you want to protect that? It's kind of weird - you don't even talk to me unless I make you."

Ami took a step back, chewing on her lower lip a bit. Now she was stupid? Jesus she wanted to go back home. "I wasn't trying to start any trouble," she said softly. "I'm not after anyone. I just wanted to sit down and that was the only open spot-"

"Shut up. No one is talking to you," Rebecca snapped before she glared back at Dmitri.

Ami locked her jaw before she cleared her throat. "I-I have to go. The bell will be ringing." Rebecca turned her gaze towards Ami as the girl moved back a little more. Ami pulled her gaze away and looked up at Dmitri. "Th-Thank you, but um.. I'm fine."

...There is darkness inside all of us, though mine is more dangerous than most.

The brunette boy eyes color slowly began to change again. It became half blue, half blood red at this time, this having an effect even on his voice, what lose his choppy attitude almost completely. Dmitri eyes not even blinked when the blonde girl brought up one night when she slept with him, something what he never asked from her. Though this one affirmation of her was a bit funny, mostly because the boy nor then was different. She was the one who kept bubbling and making stupid promises. She even began to plan their life forward, the only thing what she forgot to ask him if he agrees with them.
Dm was listening on the blonde his for a while, though when Amy stepped out from his protection she automatically could confront her with her eyes.

The young male listened to Amy desperate tries to get away from there, but he knew well she had no chance for that. Dmitri moved his attention on the ground for few seconds, then when he looked up once again his eyes color got back their golden feature, turning his back to the crew. He could let Amy alone, but she already made herself a target when she sat at his table, so from that point she had no way back.
He was thinking for the best solution, but just couldn't find it. She was double target if she would stick with him, and the others who will hunt him, won't be so nice as Rebecca was...

After Dmitri tuned his back grabbed the dark haired girl hand pulling her away from the crew. As soon as they reached the entrance he let her go. He felt sorry for everything what happened, though he had no experience on apologizing, something what he never had to do before, more than it was killed out from inside him.
"You shouldn't have sit there..." He said looking away as a forgive me to the girl.

OOC: Sorry for the short and crappy post.

Ami allowed herself to be led off by Dmitri, a little relieved to be away from that crowd. She really didn't understand what she had done wrong to begin with but she didn't think she was going to get any kind of helpful answer at this point. Regardless, she was led away, and Ami looked over her shoulder one last time to be greeted by Rebecca's seething glare. Shaking her head, Ami nearly stumbled before she turned her entire attention on Dmitri and followed him to the front of the school.

Ami stopped when Dmitri stopped and she looked up at him with a confused expression. "I was just sitting where there was an opening. I didn't know I was doing something wrong," she explained as she reached up with her free hand and pulled her hair gently through her fingers. Ami looked down, pawing at the ground a bit with her sneaker as she stood in silence, contemplating everything that happened so far that day. Coming to this new school really was a difficult thing. She could probably ask her parents to transfer her to a private school. Maybe even home tutoring. Especially if she was going to have problems from here on out.

Shaking her head, the girl finally looked up at Dmitri with a small smile. "I don't know what I did wrong, but I want to thank you for protecting me. I guess I'll just have to really watch my back, huh?" Ami laughed to herself, though it wasn't exactly a happy little laugh. It would be so nice to be back home with her friends. Hanging out after school at the arcade or on the hill that over looked the town she lived in.. Hanging out on the roof during lunch and telling stories of the Suicide Club rumored to have been at the school. "I promise I won't bother you any more though. I'll find somewhere else to sit. No need to bring you any trouble either."

                                                            ooc// Your post is fine!

"You still don't understand, do you?" The male raised his voice for the first time since they've met. "You already ******** up everything." His tone fell back on that well known choppy tone. "In the school she is the queen bee, and most of the people does what she want, I denied. This is why i became the bad guy." He explained to the small being while he leaned on the frame of the window with his back. "People began to talk about me, even if none of them knows who I really am, obviously this doesn't even care them." His voice suddenly shut up as he began to think through everything. In the end they were who pushed Amy for that move, this made everything just even more complicated.

"You should avoid my company..." He said finally, dropping his attention on the ground from in front of him. "Not because you bother me, but because its the best for you." While he talked his voice sounded gentle and friendly, even though he tried to chase her away for her won good. "You know, there are many stories about me, if you will decide to stay here you sure will hear some of them, and even if they are just mostly lies, one thing is true from all. I'm not a good boy, Amy." He finished what he had to say reaching in front and touching the long haired girl cheek, making a weak smile what somewhat contained at least as much pain, compassion and sadness as Amy smile did before.

Finally he pushed himself up from the place where he was leaning, having a plan what could work out, this way not just saving his only friend, but even giving her a chance to not get in even more trouble because of him...

Ami was taken back by the sudden out burst from Dmitri and she looked at him with eyes wide open. "Why? Why are you all so darn equally rude all the time?! What did I do so freaken wrong that I deserve to be treated like this and spoken to like this!?" she yelled at Dmitri as she pulled her bag to her chest and hugged it tightly, her eyes glaring at the Russian student.

And just like that. His personality changed again and this time Dmitri was being unusually kind to her. She flinched as the man reached out towards her and touched her cheek, her eyes remaining wide and on him. She wasn't sure what he would do next. He seemed to be incredibly temperamental. "I'm not worried about some stupid stories. I just want everyone to quit treating me like I'm some kind of idiot, freak, or evil person. Especially now because I sat down at your table without knowing." Ami stepped back, pulling herself away from the other students touch. Last thing she wanted right now was to be touched. By anyone. Ami remained silent as she stared at Dmitri, looking him over, then looking around to see if they were being watched or followed.

Ami sighed, this time taking it upon herself to lean on the wall instead. "I wish I was home... I don't know what I did wrong here, but I don't want to be here. I want to go back to Okinawa." She looked up at Dmitri before she sighed and sat down on the ground, pulling her knees to her chest. "This whole time of being here has been an awkward hell. I don't know what to do. Now I've somehow upset this queen bee or whatever."

Dmitri listened to the girl patiently not even making an attempt of interruption, while his stare liad still on the ground in front of him. He wasn't allowed so he couldn't feel her pain, but he understood her. Something what he shouldn't do. Everything what he was trained for in his whole life wasn't to understand or help other people, but right the opposite. He, nine years old already knew how to kill a person with the most pain, but he couldn't handle well the feelings. This one thing wasn't taught him, we might say it was slowly killed out of him.

The silent fell on the hall and he didn't know what should he do or say now. "Since I'm here she thinks I'm her propriety, but I'm not an object what can be owned..." As he explained the small dark haired girl on his eyes flashed through a crimson shade. "Actually she don't has anything with you, her problem is more me. She just put too much in the simply thing you sat there and i didn't chased you away, the way I did with her and everybody else." He said continuously, then turned around leaning with his elbows on the windows frame and staring out side.

"I'm not that trying to freak anyone..." He paused. He knew when what was the meaning of think well before you say anything, because for his those words contained consequences, what nobody really wanted to have... "But it's the best for everyone if nobody get's close to me..." This last part sounded kind of sad, but not because he was pitting himself or felt sorrow for himself, but because he wanted to protect others even if not everyone deserved that protection...
