>>♦ Setting ♦<<
>>♦ Over a hundred a fifty years ago, a young girl named Alice Liddell fell down a rabbit hole and found a magical land called Wonderland. She came back and told her family and friends of her tale, but they didn’t believe her, so when she, later, returned to Wonderland by stepping through a mirror, she didn’t tell anyone. Alice grew up, and her trips to Wonderland ceased. She ended up marrying and having two children, a son and a daughter. Because they were children, and filled with the magic of belief, she told stories of her adventures in Wonderland, passing the stories down to her children.
Alice’s son didn’t believe in the stories as anything more than fairy tales, but Alice’s daughter believed with all her heart. One day when she was twelve, the young girl disappeared, leaving only a cryptic note that said 'I’ve gone to Wonderland.' Her brother refused to believe, and he searched for his sister for ages, but finally, he gave up, believing his sister dead. He, too, married and had children, and when he brought his children to their grandma Alice, she passed on the stories of Wonderland. Now, though, there was an added element, with an extra young girl frolicking in the imaginary world.
Time passed, children were born, and, several generations ago, the family moved to Japan. So now, in modern day Japan, the descendants of Alice Liddell are living their lives as they wish. However, Alice’s magic still resides in her descendants, so when the current generation, two brothers, wish to escape their current lives, they follow the White Rabbit and step through the looking glass into Wonderland.
Wonderland, too, has changed with the times. After the Alice Revolution dethroned the tyrannical Queen of Hearts, Wonderland, for a time, was faced with civil unrest as different creatures tried to take the throne. Years later, Alice's long-lost daughter came and took over the position of the Queen of Hearts that Alice herself had defeated, and later she took over the ruler-less Chessland and became known as the Red Queen. Her descendants comtinue to rule over Heartsland and Chessland. Then there are the descendants of the beloved characters that Alice met on her journey. The Cheshire Cat, the White Rabbit...all of them reincarnated, all of them different than their original anscestors. But one thing is the same as before; Wonderland is a place where imagination reigns and looking at things upside-down might in fact be the right way up.
>>♦ Regions ♦<<
Japan --- A highly technologically advanced island in the middle of the Pacific and the home of the current generation of Alice Liddell's descendants. Alice's descendants have lived in Japan for so many generations now that most have never even left Japan, and they've completely integrated to Japanese culture.
Heartsland --- The home of the original Queen of Hearts. Used to be composed of the lands of Diamonds, Spades, Clovers, and Hearts, but the Queen of Hearts took control of all four lands and created Heartsland. When Alice defeated the Queen of Hearts, her daughter later became the Red Queen and took control, keeping it united as one country.
--------& The Kingdom of Heartsland is made up of the denizens of the original four lands of Diamonds, Spades, Clubs and Hearts. At the lowest, there are the citizens, people who merely live out their days and eke out a living. Above the citizens, there are the Cards, made up of the four suits of the land, and within the Cards there are rankings even there. The higher the ranking, the higher your prowess in the land.
----------------&2's - 2's are classified as gardeners. Gardeners are usually black suits, and 2-Clubs are considered to be the most stupid people in Wonderland, because they keep planting white roses instead of red. 2's in Red suits are usually servants, doing whatever anyone higher up wishes them to do.
----------------&3's - 3's are maids, and are looked at higher than 2's. They deal with taking care of their leiges, bringing food, dusting, ect. ect. Diamonds are favored as maids, and Ladies in Waiting are always 3's.
----------------&4's - 4's work the grounds as stable hands and groundskeepers. They take care of animals and make sure the gardeners are doing their work, and they are respected and revered by 2's when they are outside doing their jobs.
----------------&5's - 5's are cooks, always working in the kitchens and creating huge feasts for the Red Queen and King every night. They are respected by especially. Cooks are usually either Hearts or Spades.
----------------&6's - 6's are housekeepers, tasked to make sure 3's and 5's are doing their jobs. They, along with 7's, are considered the highest rank in the lower class of Cards, and are looked up to by all rankings below them. Housekeepers are always female, and are usually Hearts or Diamonds.
----------------&7's - 7's are butlers, and are considered the highest rank of the lower class of Cards, looked up to by all rankings below them. They make sure everything is set up and perfect, and 7's have the task of guiding all other lower rankings to do their job and make sure everything is done correctly. Even by the higher class of Cards, 7's are somewhat respected for the amount of work they do.
----------------&8's - 8's are the first rank of the higher class of cards, and are pages. They run from person to person with messages, and though they are considered menial laborers, their job is essential to keeping Heartsland and the palace running. Pages are usually ages 8 to 12 and are typically children of nobles or higher classes.
----------------&9's - 9's are guards. Their job is to protect the palace and the people within and to patrol and guard. Within the 9's, there are 9 rankings, and you can always tell what ranking a 9 is because of how many suits they wear. A 9 will always have a great big '9' emblazoned on their backs, but on their chests above their hearts and on their sleeves, they will wear suits. 1-9 means they have 1 suit pin, and 9-9 means they have 9 suit pins and are the highest ranking officer of the guards. Since the takeover by the Queen of Hearts, only Hearts have become 9's.
----------------&10's - 10's are lawyers, dealing with the petty details of courts. They are considered the highest rank of the numbers, but no one really likes them because they are considered sleazy and pompous. Judges for minor court matters that don't need the Red Queen's attention are also 10's.
----------------&Jack - If the White Rabbit is the Queen's right-hand man, then the Jacks are the left. There are two Jacks, and they (both are always male) are considered a chancellor and a bodyguard. The two-eyed Jack (a title that has nothing to do with how many eyes he has) stands behind the Queen at public functions and protects the Queen above all else, while the one-eyed Jack is typically sent off on diplomatic missions, and is considered the sneakier of the two. There used to be two jacks for each suit, but after the Queen of Hearts took over, only the Jacks of Hearts remain.
----------------&Queen - The Queen was the second-highest power in Heartsland, who had the ability to power life or death over the land. There used to be four Queens, one for each suit, but then the Queen of Hearts took over and only she remained. After the Alice Reluvtion, there was no Queen until the Red Queen took over Heartsland. Now, the Queen Card is considered defunct, as the Red Queen role is quite different from the Queen Card.
----------------&King - The King was the highest power in the land, tasked with protecting his people and keeping everything running smoothly. There used to be four Kings, one for each suit, but then the Queen of Hearts took over and only the King of Hearts remained. After the Alice Revolution, there was no King until the Red Queen took over Heartsland. Now, the King Card is considered defunct, as the Red King role if quite different from the King Card.
----------------&Ace - The Ace is a mysterious position. Some say it is a ringleader of spies, roaming the land in search of information for the Queen. Others say the role is as an assassin for the Queen and King. The Ace is feared among most regions of Wonderland, because it is such a mysterious position, and is only answerable to the Queen. Though there used to be four Aces, now there is only the Ace of Hearts, and though the position is typically given to males, there have been female Aces who have done their title proud.
----------------&Joker - The Joker is the only Card that isn't in a suit, and is also considered the only Card ranking higher than the King. It is a role usually filled by an enigmatic man (or woman) who does things on his own terms, and doesn't care what anyone else says, and is considered the most mysterious, strange Card, even more mysterious than the Ace. The Joker used to be a mediator, and things between the lands were brought to him to be solved. When the Queen of Hearts took over, the official position of Joker was abolished, but it is rumored that there is still a Joker working his magic in secret, underneath the Red Queen's nose.
Chessland --- Chessland is a land eight hundred miles square, made up of eight hundred-by-hundred mile square plots of land. From the sky, the land looks like a chessboard. It used to be ruled by both the White King and Queen in the South and the Black King and Queen in the North, but when the Queen of Hearts took over Heartsland, the White King and Queen went into hiding and disappeared, and the Black King and Queen were put to death. Years later, when Alice's daughter became the Red Queen, she took control of Chessland, and met no resistance.
The Dark Woods --- The Dark Woods is the home of such legendary creatures as the Cheshire Cat and the White Rabbit. Legend has it that the famed Alice came through the rabbit hole into the Dark Woods, though this is mere supposition. The Woods curtain the base of Dragon Mount, climbing a good fourth of the way up the mountains before officially becoming the Mount. People live in the Dark Woods, but they are generally reclusive and don't welcome strangers readily, unless they have some ulterior motive. There are rumors that many in the Woods are the Red Queen's spies. There are also all sorts of creatures, so travelers are always warned to stay on the roads and not to wander off, because getting lost in the Dark Woods generally means death, unless you meet a kind soul. Kind souls are rare in the Woods.
--------&The Mirrored Trees --- This is an unusual cluster of trees within the Dark Woods that has, instead of bark covering the surface of the trees, mirrors. One theory is that any place in the Dark Woods with a full length mirror probably had unscrupulous people living nearby, so in order to have a way for the White Rabbit to get to the world Beyond The Mirror from the Woods, the Red Queen generations back somehow managed to grow trees with mirrored surfaces. Another theory is that the cluster of trees is in fact where Alice's rabbit hole dropped her off. Both theories are unsupported.
The Duchy --- The Duchy is a small kingdom that, once upon Alice's time, was ruled by the Duchess. Now it has passed to her descendant. The Duchy has escaped most of the Red Queen's influences over the years, due to the eccentric natures of the people living there. The Mad Hatter lives in the Duchy.
Uvasmal Stucherey --- Uvasmal Stucherey is a small land. Very small. Miniscule, some would say. Every person living there is six inches tall, at best, and everything is scaled down. Uvasmal is housed in a clearing in the Dark Woods, but is a kingdom in its own right. There is a theory that Uvasmal was built where the legendary Caterpillar made his home and gave Alice his advice, and their symbol is the mushroom.
The Rose Garden --- The Rose Garden is a wide swatch of land between the Dark Woods and Heartsland that is full of talking flowers. The Red Queen believes the Rose Garden to be part of her kingdom, while the flowers believe their home to be a kingdom in its own right.
The Wandering Sea --- The Wandering Sea borders the southernmost edge of Wonderland, bordering Dragon Mount and the southern edge of Chessland. The waters of the Wandering Sea are said to have magical properties, though only potion-makers and sorcerers know if that's true. No boats are ever seen on the Wandering Sea, because of the curse. Anyone who takes a boat onto the Sea is doomed to sail, lost, until their death, no matter what tools they might have to navigate their way home. It's rumored that the only creatures that live in the Sea are mock turtles and snapping fish, but adventurous swimmers rarely return to tell their tales, and the sailors never come back.
Dragon Mount --- Dragon Mount is a mountain range that borders the Dark Woods and the Wandering Sea, creating an imposing visage. Rumored to be home to the legenadry Jabberwock, though no one has seen the creature since Alice defeated it so many years ago. Also known to be the home of the Gryphon and its descendants. Any dragons in question have been long extinct.

--+…The Cheshire Cat…+--
The puppetmaster is:
Benadryl
The name on my birth certificate is:
Ix Tapa
But please call me:
People usually call him Ix. Or Ixxy ---but only by people who generally really want to annoy him.
This is what I see in the mirror:
+_smile.for.me_+
Ix is fairly average-sized. He’s only five-five or so, weighing somewhere around 105-110 pounds. Unlike most of his family, he hates stripes, so he usually wears plain colored clothing, or clothing with a pattern other than stripes on it. His hair is a soft, sky blue, cut short at the nape of his neck and with long bangs that wave in the wind, and his eyes are a soft, stormy pale grey. His teeth, when he smiles, are slightly pointed, and he has longer-than-a-human’s canines. When he smiles, it’s not a small, quiet little smile. It’s a full-mouthed, all-teeth, slightly manic grin that makes him look rather mad, which isn’t unusual in the slightest for a Cheshire. He also has claws that retract from his nails when he’s upset or angry, but he tried to keep them drawn in if he can. He does wear a headscarf with long tails that has stripes, but they’re nice thick stripes that don’t really feel like stripes at all.
The reason for his hatred of stripes lies under the headscarf and down his pants. Being a Cheshire Cat, Ix has the ears and tail of a cat. In the crazy colors of a Cheshire Cat. His ears poke up out of his hair, and they’re a fairly normal shade of sky blue, the same blue as his hair. Understandable. What’s not understandable is the insane shade of hot pink his ears are tipped. His tail, on the other hand, is striped, alternating stripes of sky blue and hot pink. All of his clothes have a hole for his tail to peek through, but usually he shoves it down one pant leg and tries to pretend it doesn’t exist, because he’s so embarrassed by it. He’d have been fine with the ears and the tail if only it weren’t for those crazy pink stripes.
Look at me to see I’m:
Male
Every year I get a little bit older:
Nineteen
I like to date the:
Girls and boys, but he doesn’t really do much courting at all.
I happen to come from this side of the mirror:
The Dark Woods of Wonderland
People say I’m:
Ix is playful. He has a very stray-cat mentality. Things that interest him, he’ll play with. Things that doesn’t, he’ll ignore. He isn’t very good at riddles and obscure clues, but he tries, because it’s the family legacy. The one thing that can be said about Ix is that he always tries, which has given him the reputation of being a bit of a serious fuddy-duddy. The stories about Alice have passed down through his family, and the one thing Ix wants more than anything else is to meet the new Alice and guide them on their journey. He spends most of his day sleeping in a tree or wandering the Dark Woods, waiting for ‘Alice’ to come through the rabbit hole.
Once upon a time:
Ix was born to the Tapa family, the noble linage descended from the original Cheshire Cat that guided Alice through her journey. The Tapa family was always reclusive and extremely fickle, so even when other families of Cheshire Cats agreed to be under the Red Queen’s rule, the Tapa family refused, and disappeared into the Dark Woods. Since Cheshire Cats weren’t meant to be under someone else’s rule, the other Cats withered away and died, leaving the Tapa family the only family of Cheshire Cats left.
Ix was the third of three siblings. His older sister and older brother both were more traditional Cheshire Cats than he was. Even at a young age, Ix didn’t like to do what other Cats did, playing tricks on people and confusing travelers. He instead preferred to sit at his grandfather’s feet and listen with rapt enjoyment to the stories grandfather told of the past. He sucked up the tales of the Alice Revolution and his own anscestor, and spent hours daydreaming about what it would be like if Alice came back and he was the one who led Alice through her journey.
As he grew, his family told him how silly his daydreams were, because it had been hundred years or more since Alice herself had come to Wonderland, and it was even more possible that her descendants didn’t even know they could come to Wonderland. They said that Ix should spend his time doing what Cheshire Cats do best, but he had no talent for riddles and could care less about tricking or pranking travelers. After the first fiasco, where his siblings both made fun of his lack of talent, Ix ran away for a time. Unfortunately, he got hopelessly lost.
That was when the Red Queen’s man found him. Ix was brought to Heartsland, and the Red Queen tried to recruit him into her ranks, because it would be a great boon to have a Cheshire Cat on her payroll. Ix remembered the stories his grandfather told, though, and he refused and ran back to the Woods. He found his family again and told them what happened, and then told them that he didn’t care what they thought, he was going to search the Woods until he found ‘Alice’ and could guide her on her journey. Or him, as the case may be. Since then, he’s spent most of his time sleeping in trees and waiting for ‘Alice’ to return through the rabbit hole from the other side. He's quite excited, though, because he's heard rumors that 'Alice' is going to return soon.
All those little quirks:
Being a Cheshire Cat, Ix has the ability to disappear from sight. He can turn invisible, either his whole body or a part of his body, but he usually has his smile hang in the air for a while to really freak people out. The strange thing is that he can have his smile go where he can’t ---like, through a small window that his whole body wouldn’t fit through or something--- and then he can reappear behind it. He can also turn into a cat the size of a large housecat, but he hates to do that because his cat form is the same crazy colors of sky blue and hot pink stripes that he hates.

--+…The White Rabbit…+--
The puppetmaster is:
Benadryl
The name on my birth certificate is:
Aetas Kanin
But please call me:
Some people call him Eight. Or Tas. He prefers to be called by his first name, but someone always seems to want to shorten it.
This is what I see in the mirror:
+_right.on.time_+
Despite being the White Rabbit (adopted), Aetas is completely human, and he has no real rabbit traits or coloring. His hair is a russet-chocolatey color, and his eyes are an unusually dark cobalt blue, which is darker than the rest of his family, who all have white hair and red or pale blue eyes. Also being human, he doesn’t have rabbit ears or a tail. As such, he has to make up for it by wearing two white rabbit ears that are actually connected to his hat. Aetas is about 5'8", and unusually slim for his height due to all that running around he does.
Aetas always strives to look his best. He can always be found dressed in a white collared shirt with a ribbon tying the neck and black slacks, with a long black coat with tails in the back. White kid gloves and his red-banded hat complete the look. He wears small round-framed glasses, more for aesthetics than because he needs them, since there’s just plain glass lenses. He has a large gold pocketwatch that has been passed down through his family for generations, and is the actual watch of the White Rabbit that led Alice down the rabbit hole, so that’s a family heirloom. He also carries a wooden staff with a burnished crimson handle, which allows him to move between Wonderland and the Other Side of the Mirror, though he only does that on the Red Queen’s order.
The doctor said I was a:
Male
Every year I get a little bit older:
Twenty-two
I like the:
Pretty asexual, in that, he’s found both sexes attractive, but has never been attracted to either gender. At least, not publicly. Privately, it's a mystery, though there's quite a bit of rumors and guesswork about his relationship with the Red Queen.
I happen to come from this side of the mirror:
He has the family home in the Dark Woods, and a home in the palace in Heartsland, but he moves around Wonderland so much that he really doesn’t have a set home base.
People say I’m:
The first thing people notice about Aetas is that he’s always on time. Always. For Aetas, punctiality isn’t just a good habit, it’s an obsession. He can always be found pulling out his pocketwatch and rushing to various affairs, arriving early so he won’t be late. He always thinks he’s running late too, even if he isn’t, and therefore is usually in a flustered state of mild panic. If other people are late, he gives them dirty looks, because he hates being made to wait ---it throws his carefully planned schedule off--- but if he himself was ever late to anything, he would probably commit seppuku or have some sort of mental breakdown because of it.
Looking beyond his obsession for time, Aetas is actually a rather nice person. He can be sweet, and he can be a bit charming. And he always wants to help the Red Queen, so he’ll bend over backwards to do what he’s asked. Unfortunately, his obsession for time overrules…pretty much everything, leaving him a nervous, continuously flustered mess that always has to be moving towards the next part of his schedule. Even when he’s sitting at one of his appointments, he can’t keep his leg from bouncing to be away onto his next appointment. For Aetas, really the only time he’s not moving is when he sleeps ---which he also does on a schedule.
Once upon a time:
Aetas is not, in fact, an actual child of the Kanin family. His parents, despite trying quite hard ---very hard, like rabbits, in fact--- couldn’t have a child of their own, so they adopted a human child that had been abadoned in the Dark Woods. The boy was raised as a White Rabbit, growing up exactly like his parents did. He truly believed that he was a Rabbit. Yes, he knew he was a bit different from his parents, since he didn’t have ears or a tail, and his coloring was darker, but he just assumed that he would grow those when he got older. So when his parents told him the truth of his heritage, suffice to say, Aetas was shocked.
The Kanin family had been under service of the Red Queen for generations, ever since the Alice Revolution. Aetas grew up working for the Red Queen and her family, knowing that when he was older, he would be serving directly under the heir to the throne. He spent most of his waking time following the young heir around, fulfilling his demands and attempting to keep the Prince on schedule. Aetas seemed to have inherited the White Rabbit’s obsession with time and punctality, a strange quirk that skipped generations and seemed to have rooted itself in the adopted Rabbit. He was always checking clocks and making schedules for himself and the Prince, whether or not they would be followed.
When the old Red Queen retired and the Prince became the new Red Queen, Aetas’s father also retired from his role as White Rabbit and handed down the family treasures to his adopted son. Normally, Aetas wouldn’t have received the heirlooms, but he was the only child and in the service of the Red Queen, so he received both a simple gold pocketwatch and a staff that allowed him to cross between Wonderland and the World Beyond the Glass. With that, he officially became the Queen’s right hand man, and continues to do everything and anything the Queen asks of him without question, no matter what.
All those little quirks:
Being a Rabbit, he’s a complete vegitarian, having grown up on nothing but vegetables and fruits. He could eat meat, being human, but he simply...doesn't. He is also pretty much the only creature from Wonderland that can go to the Other Side of the Mirror with his staff. At least, he's the only one who knows how to.
The feelings he has for the Red Queen may or may not be absolute, blind, devoted loyalty. There are some people among the staff at the palace who believe that Aetas truly loves the Queen, and then there are others who believe that Aetas is just doing his duty as a good man should. It’s hard to tell how he really feels underneath all that obsessing about time, anyway. Aetas isn't telling. Whatever the case, there are rumors and suppositions about the two in the servant’s hall, most of which Aetas doesn’t even know exist because he’s always too busy rushing from place to place.
In regards to the rumors regarding the arrival of 'Alice'...Aetas doesn't care. Just so long as 'Alice' doesn't disrupt his schedule. And if 'Alice' can entertain the Red Queen, then that will take one load off of Aetas's mind. At least for a little bit.

--+…Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum…+--
The puppetmaster is:
Benadryl
The name on my birth certificate is:
Zale and Loren Tweedle
But please call me:
A lot of people refer to them as simply ‘the twins.’ Then there are the people who call the twins by their ancestors’ names, Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum.
This is what I see in the mirror:
+_two.of.a.kind_+
The older of the twins is Zale. He’s about 5’6” tall, and lighter than average in weight. He eats all the time, and has a fast metabolism, but the main reason for his lack of weight is because his bones are lighter than other people’s, allowing him to fly. Not hollow bones like a bird’s, more…pitted. Slightly-hollowed. He is generally considered the more fearsome of the two twins, because his wings are a brilliant black, the same leathery texture as a dragon’s wing, with a wicked hooked claw at the joint and vibrant red flaps. His choice of clothing doesn’t help this first impression either. He always wears black clothing with red accents, mostly spiders and spiderwebs because he, personally, thinks those critters are the coolest in the world. His skin is a healthy tan, and his eyes are a burnished gold, narrowed into what most people think of as suspicion or anger or annoyance. His hair is a healthy wheat color from spending time in the sun, and he has a pair of black goggles that he either has pushed up above his forehead or hanging loose around his neck.
Loren couldn’t be more opposite from his twin. Having white feathered wings like a dove had raised questions as to whether or not the two of them are actually twins, questions that either aren’t received well or are ignored. Loren is the same height as his brother, standing at 5’6”, and, like Zale, he’s lighter than would be expected for his height, because he too has the same lightweight bones. His hair is a darker shade of brown-gold, and his eyes are wider and more innocent-looking, though still the same burnished gold color as his brother’s. Even his skin is paler, lending more towards a soft creamy peach. He seems to always be clad in white and blue, varying from baby blue to navy, though definitely leaning towards the lighter colors. Loren looks so much more innocent and sweet of the two that people assume he’s the kind once. He has a pair of round-rimmed spectacles that he’s supposed to wear only when reading, but he wears them all the time. They both have their share of scars, but they’re mostly small and unobtrusive.
The doctor said I was a:
Both of them are fully male. Absolutely.
Every year I get a little bit older:
Seventeen and a half years, with a handful of minutes dividing their births.
I like the:
Does twin-sexual count? As disturbing as it might sound to outsiders, the two twins love each other. As brothers and beyond. If they were ever to allow someone into their circle as a lover, that person would have to be able to accept both twins as part of the package deal.
I happen to come from this side of the mirror:
Partway up Dragon Mount, in the areas that are still considered the Dark Woods, in Wonderland.
People say I’m:
In the topsy-turvy way that Wonderland has of mixing things up, the two twins do not act like they appear. Zale looks fearsome, with his dragon-like wings and his black-and-red clothing, but he’s actually a sweetheart. He can’t stand to see people hurt, and he hates hurting others. He always brings home strays and tries to help people who are lost in the woods. He looks mean, but he’s really not. Loren, on the other hand, in spite of his angelic appearance, could care less about helping other people and always has a sharp word and opinion on his tongue. Loren is completely willing to lie to a person, if only for the hell of it, while Zale would lean towards an honest, truthful answer.
The two twins are absolutely devoted to each other, so they’re completely happy as they are. If the whole world disappeared and left the two of them alone, neither one would be too upset. Travelers don’t often come their way, so the peace is always nice, though every now and then one of them will get an adventurous streak and will drag the other twin along with them. They both enjoy visiting the Hatter and crashing his unbirthday parties for snacks. Their bond is so connected that they can finish one another’s sentences and can tell, almost telepathically, what the other one is thinking. It's rare to see one twin without the other one not far behind, though, on occasion, one will go off without letting the other one know. Oh. Yeah. And they’re lovers. Is that a problem? They love each other, and they express that. There’s nothing wrong with that at all.
Once upon a time:
The twins were born to the Tweedle clan, a dying race of winged people that lived in caves dotted throughout Dragon Mount. Their mother was the last pregnant, viable female left in the clan. All the other women were elderly, because the Tweedle clan happened to have a natural predator---the gryphons that dotted the Mount above their cave homes. Every so often, the clanspeople were able to defeat one of the gryphons that preyed on them, but the gryphons were bigger and stronger and faster than the Tweedles, so when the pregnant female was about to give birth, she descended from the Mount into the Dark Woods. The Woods had enemies, but at least they weren’t the gryphons.
The young woman birthed an egg, as all women of her race did. However, she was already weak from the strain of travel, and soon after the egg was laid, she died, wrapped around her baby’s egg. It was a miracle that the egg survived, but soon enough, the egg hatched, and the two little babies rolled out. Clinging to each other, the two babies wandered away, disorented and scared. The first person they came upon was one of reclusives that lived in the Woods. Most of the Wood dwellers weren’t kind-hearted, but this young woman had a soft spot for children, and took the babies in. Since she was the first woman the twins had seen, they assumed that she was their mother.
For the first five years of their lives, Zale and Loren looked like normal children. However, after their fifth year, their wings began growing out of their shoulder blades, and the young woman who’d taken them in became scared of them. Not knowing about the clan of winged people from the Mount, and in spite of all the other strange things in Wonderland, the idea of raising winged children was so strange and terrifying for her that she left, abandoning the two children in her home. After that, Zale and Loren learned that other people couldn’t be trusted, and all they could trust was each other. Slowly, they worked out how to take care of themselves and each other, and they grew up in the little house. They had a silent agreement that if the young woman ever came back wanting their house back, they would leave, but she never returned.
The first time they tried flying, they’d just turned twelve. Loren was the more adventurous one, and he leapt off the top of a tree. Both twins were stunned when Loren's wings just instinctively worked, but then Loren got over it and zipped into the sky. Zale, afraid of being left alone, followed his twin into the sky, and for the first time, they left the small area of the clearing in the Woods that they knew. A whole new world was open before them, and with their wings, they could travel it all. The first place they touched down in was the Duchy, and the first person they met outside of themselves was the Mad Hatter. Despite first impressions, the Loren found the insane Hatter amusing, and Zale followed his brother’s example, so they ended up coming back and visiting the flower child. They also explored other areas of Wonderland, intrigued by all the new sights and scenes they were discovering. They never went up and explored Dragon Mount, though, because something within them wanted them to stay away from the mountains. They also avoid Heartsland since their first visit, because apparently tresspassing on the Red Queen’s domain warrented the loss of their heads. Since they’ve learned to fly, the two boys have constantly flown around Wonderland, but the two places they frequent the most are their home and the Duchy to visit the Hatter.
All those little quirks:
No one is quite sure how the original Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum’s descendants became a clan of egg-bearing, winged people, but the propensity for twins that the clanswomen have and the name of the clan show that there is some relation to the original twins. As far as Zale and Loren know, they’re the only winged people in the world, because they haven’t ever traveled up the Mount, and no one else from their clan has ever come and searched them out. Also, butterflies freak Zale out, while Loren is afraid of fireflies.
As far as the rumors about the return of ‘Alice’ is concerned, Loren could care less. He wants ‘Alice’ to stay away, because the last time an 'Alice' visited, a revolution was started and Loren wants no part of that. Plus, he doesn’t want anyone intruding on him and his brother. Zale, on the other hand, isn’t as opposed to the thought of meeting ‘Alice’, because he thinks it would be very interesting to meet someone from Beyond The Mirror.

The Duke of Despair, Death, Melancholy, Horror, etc, etc.
This is what I see in the mirror:
+.what.a.lovely.way.to.die.+
Ever is always dressed as though he’s going to a funeral. Someone else’s, of course. He wears nothing but black, and jade and moss green-colored accents, since it’s the family color. Silver accessories highlight the copious amounts of black he wears, and somehow make him look even more deathly and ghostlike.
Physically, he’s not really that wraithlike or ghostly, though that’s the impression he portrays. He’s 6’0” even, exactly the same height as Tori Liddell, which means they’re pretty much on an even playing field, and Ever is fairly certain that annoys the great Red Queen. His skin is pale, because he tends not to spend much time in direct sunlight, but that doesn’t mean he’s unhealthy and sickly. He weighs a sturdy 144 pounds, and his body is lean and toned from various training he did in his life. He could hold his own in a fight if he had to. He’s kind of handsome, in a gothic sort of way, with dark, dark hair that falls past his ears in gentle waves and green eyes with golden flecks in them. However, most people don’t notice his looks, because they’re either paying attention to his creepy outer appearance or cursing him out for manipulating them.
The doctor said I was a:

I like the:
Ever will be with anyone, so long as they’re useful to him.
I happen to come from this side of the mirror:
The Duchy in Wonderland
People say I’m:
Ever is known as the Duke of Despair, Death, Melancholy, and Horror, by various people at various times in his life. This isn’t because he causes these things, but because he’s fascinated by them. From a young age, Ever had an interest in things that would otherwise frighten or bother other people, and his nannies used to get in trouble because he would wander off, find a dead bird or rabbit or somesuch small animal, and just sit there and stare at it. Though he doesn’t encourage the Red Queen’s habit of beheading people whenever he feels like it, Ever tries to find the time to watch ---when it’s public, at least--- because he finds it fascinating.
Most people stop looking at Ever at the creepy, death-loving surface level, and that’s the way Ever likes it. Underneath all that, he’s a cold, manipulative person who will use someone if it will get him something he wants, and then he will toss them aside when he’s done with them. The only time he ever shows interest in other people is if there’s something he could get out of them. He can typically appraise a person’s worth to him within moments of meeting them, and there are four types of people in his life: people with value, people he hates, people who are worthless, and people who he loathes. People who have value gain varying measures of respect, but it’s all false, because he doesn’t actually respect any of them. He just uses them to get what he needs. People he loathes get ignored, but he pays attention to them so he can find the best way to take them down. Worthless and valueless people are disliked and ignored, but never forgotten because there's always the chance that valueless people could become worth something. The worst punishement is to be hated by Ever, because Ever erases people he hates from his mind so that they don't even exist. If he hates someone and has erased them, then that person could be breathing down his neck and Ever wouldn't even acknowledge they're there.
It’s uncertain whether he actually cares about anyone, even his own family.
Once upon a time:
Duke Torque Eclos and his lovely wife Malichite were good people, adored by members of the Duchy and amongst other regions of Wonderland as well. They ruled with a gentle, but firm hand, and they were always fair. There was just one problem among the happy couple. They were childless. Both the Duke and his wife were getting up in years, but they had yet to produce an heir. While their line wasn’t as dependant on blood heritage as the Queens of Heartsland were ---and indeed, Dukes and Duchesses of the past who’d married into the family had ruled quite well--- they still needed at least one heir. The Duke and Duchess, in desperation, went to people who’d once lived on their land, the illustrious family of the March Hares, and asked for advice.
The March Hares had always had a small talent for magic, so they gave the couple a potion that was to help aid in the process of having an heir. The couple thanks the Hares and went back home, and less than three months later, the Duchess found out she was pregnant. It was a glorious day, and much celebration went on in the Duchy.
Then it came time for the child to be born. The birth went smoothly, and the first little girl was born. The Duchy had never been a very patriarchal line, and in fact, the first Duchess had been female, so there was much rejoicing. Then the second child was born, and though this threw a complication in the mix ---for the family had never before had more than one child--- the second little girl was a delight as well.
Then the third of the triplets was born. The couple held the three children in their arms and wondered what to do about this. Sure enough, the potion they’d been given had worked well, but it had worked almost too well. The Duchy was small, unlike Heartsland and Chessland, and they couldn’t split the lands up between three children. They decided to raise the children and see how they grew, and then choose their heir when the children were older, so they sent thanks to the Hares and did their best to raise their children equally.
The two girls, Ardis and Galatia, grew into identical visions of loveliness, and they grew up like their father and mother--- they got along well with the people in the Duchy, they treated everyone with equal amounts of fairness and kindness, and they were beloved by their people. Their brother, was as different as could be, though. Ever never had any interest in the people around him, he was kind only when it suited him, and fairness only existed if it was fair for him. Now only that, but Ever was creepy, fascinated by death and all things connected to it. However, Ever had a certain ruthlessness and an ability to use people that his sisters didn’t have, which made him suitable to be a different kind of ruler.
Since it was always good to keep relations between Heartsland and the Duchy good, the young son was sent to Hearstland to be the Prince’s companion and playmate. From the start, Ever hated Tori. He saw the Prince as a spoiled brat who didn’t deserve a lick of what he had, and he hated Tori for it. Then there was the stupid Rabbit, always following along after the Prince and begging to be useful, and there was that damned Cat. Though Ix Tapa wasn’t as much of an annoyance as Tori or the Rabbit, Ever disliked the Cat just as much as he hated everything else in Heartsland, because once upon a time, the Cheshire Cats had belonged to his family, and now they didn’t, and having the powers of a Cheshire Cat under his hand would be something Ever could use with joy.
So Ever grew up hating Heartsland and all within, but he had strong political ties (of some sort) to the land. When he returned home, he found out that his sisters had grown up as charming as he’d grown up morbid and dark. They were obviously more suited to be the rulers of the land, but when his father announced his decision, Ever was shocked to learn that all three of them were to rule the Duchy. The two girls would rule the daily, day-to-day routines and they would deal with the people, and Ever would be a sort of diplomat, because he had the ability to get what he wanted, get the best deal for what he wanted, and he didn’t worry about anything but.
So the triplets took over, and when their father died, they continued running the land as it had been. Their mother, getting up in years, moved to retirement on the edge of the Duchy, and Ever moved into his own home, though the girls stayed in the family home. Ever continued to be a diplomat, and he hated going to Heartsland to negotiate with the Red Queen, but it was a necessary trial of the job.
When Ever was in his twenties or so, he was sent to Chessland to talk to the former Red King to see if they could buy some of the land and expand the Duchy. Somewhere in the third or fourth squares, Ever got lost in a forest. Knowing how the land was set up, he continued riding straight, but before he could reach the next square, he was ambushed but a group of strange people who looked like guerillas. They led Ever to a cave, which turned into a tunnel, which became a sort of underground city, underneath a good portion of Chessland.
Ever was irritated and upset when he realized that they didn’t plan to let him go again. Then he realized who his captors were ---former members of Chessland, now in hiding--- and what they were plotting ---to overthrow the Red Queen and take their land back--- and Ever decided to help. If only because he hated Tori and wanted to see the Queen dethroned. He convinced his captors that he could be an asset to them in their quest, pledged his loyalty to their goal, and was released. Though the trip was a bust because he didn’t get any extra land for the Duchy, Ever was pleased with the new alliances he’d made.
Over the next few years, he made frequent trips to Chessland to meet with his associates, and when he heard the rumors of Alice, he made a plan to get them. After all, the original Alice overthrew the Queen of Hearts when she was here, so new Alices would definitely be able to overthrow the Red Queen. So he and his cohorts have been waiting for the Alices’ arrival, because they could be the catalyst needed to change everything.
All those little quirks:
Ever enjoys several privileges because of his position as Duke. One of those privileges is ‘diplomatic immunity’, in a way. Though the Red Queen, so long ago, took over Heartsland and Chessland, the Duchy was never under her rule, so though the Dukes and Duchesses of the past acknowledged the Queens of the past as a powerful leader, the Duchy was never under her command. That has followed to the present time. Ever and Tori are on civil terms in public, but they act like diplomats, not monarch and servant. The Red Queen does not command Duke Ever Eclos! Which means, basically, that Ever can do or say anything he could possibly want to the Red Queen without the fear of being beheaded, because it would bring about war for sure. He might spend a day or two in the dungeons, but he won’t lose his head.
The maids don’t go into Ever’s room anymore. They’re too freaked out by his extensive skull collection. That’s right, he collects skulls. If he finds a dead animal in the woods, he’ll pick it up, take it home, clean off the skull ---and the skeleton, if there’s enough of it and it hasn’t been torn apart or anything--- and add it to his collection. (There’s no human skulls in his collection yet, but it’s probably just a matter of time). His room is where most of his collection is kept, but he’s taken over one of the spare drawing rooms to expand. The maids don’t go in the drawing room anymore either.
Ever hates pepper. He hates pepper almost as much as he hates Tori Liddell. Whether it's a genetic thing ---most of the Eclos line hates pepper to some degree--- or because his idiot childhood cook put pepper on everything, it isn't sure, but he'll refuse to eat if his food contains pepper of any kind. Salt is alright, but not pepper.
Ever considers the Mad Hatter and the March Hare ‘his people’. They live on his land. They’re somewhat useful to his machinations (if he could ever figure out how to manipulate them to do what he wanted). Therefore, they are his. He loathes Tori Liddell with a passion unrivaled, and Ever is quite excited to meet the Alices from Beyond the Looking Glass. They could be just the catalyst needed to overthrow that Red Queen tyrant.
The puppetmaster is:
Benadryl
The name on my birth certificate is:
Ever Fallon Eclos
But please call me:
Male
Every year I get a little bit older:
Twenty-three

--+…The Red Queen…+--
The puppetmaster is:
Kitty Bop
The name on my birth certificate is:
Tori Deluxe Liddell
But please call me:
People normally call him your Highness or your Majesty. People close to him call him by his first name or call him Del.
This is what I see in the mirror:
✫ royalty.up.close ✫
Tori isn't the shortest person about since he stands at about five foot, eleven inches and some centimeters--so he is borderlining six feet. He isn't built, but more lithe and lean, being a slightly broad in the shoulders. The fact that he is so tall contributes to his weight of hundred and thirty-seven pounds and it changed often depending on the time of day. His skin appears pale in the dark but once in the sunlight, his skin is actually slightly tanned, but not much. Also, his skin is smooth and soft, there not being any bumps or scars on him. Well, there is a scar that runs along his calf, but it is never shown to anyone since he is normally covered up. He wears his jet black hair down, letting it fall around his face or shoulders which gives him a relaxed appearance to most. Though, when he has business to attend to, he wears his hair up in a high ponytail and his ears that are slightly pointed at the top, can be seen, along with three silver ear cuffs on his right ear and two silver ear cuffs on his left. His eyes are the color of coal when they are looked at from afar but close up, there is a bluish tint to his pupils which isn't surprising when considering his ancestry.
Tori tends to dress up quite a bit. Even when he is alone. He likes colorful things, but his favorite colors to wear are red, gold, and black. As already stated, he wears silver ear cuffs on his ears and sometimes he trades them out for gold ear cuffs or dangled earrings. He actually puts on make-up if he knows he is going to be addressing a big crowd. Also, he wears rings and bracelets, but only when he feels the need to show off. Because he isn't the widest person, he likes wearing capes that flutter and flare around and behind him. Most of his clothes are made of silk or satin and he wears nothing less. Not to mention, he is normally not seen wearing the same clothing and neither is the Red King for that matter.
The doctor said I was a:
Very much so male, which was a problem for his family since females were Red Queens. Not males.
Every year I get a little bit older:
Twenty-five years of age.
I like the:
Tori doesn't have a particularly gender he is attracted, since he is more so about personality and wanting to be entertained by whomever he chooses to be with. At the moment, he is married but his wife does not interest him because her personality conflicts terribly with his.
I happen to come from this side of the mirror:
Why, he is from Wonderland, of course. He resides in the palace in Heartsland.
People say I’m:
Tori hasn't given many people the best impression of him. Like the Red Queens before him, he is a bit bossy and controlling and he hates it when people do not show him the proper respect--let's not forget that he can be a bit selfish too. In fact, he has had a few disrespectful followers beheaded and has shown no remorse about his decision. Now, don't start disliking him, because he can be rather sweet when he wants to be--though it mostly depends on the other party. If he is getting his way, then he is agreeable and no one gets beheaded. When nothing is going on that interests him, he becomes aloof and gets rather bored, often sending the White Rabbit out to find him entertainment of sorts. Once entertainment is found, he perks up and plays with whomever until his interest runs out. Hey, he can be playful until things aren't going his way. With the Red King, who holds the title of his wife, he keeps her at a distance since neither of them particularly like each other. But when they are seen together, they both put on an act of being unified and they actually look happy. Tori suspects that the Red King is simply waiting for him to tire of her and send her back home. Bottom line about that situation--until it benefits him, he will not comply with that desire. Also, he has the tendency to be sneaky and he has spies everywhere who report back to him, so there are not many things he does not know about that goes on in Wonderland.
Once upon a time:
Tori was a joy to have and there was honestly nothing wrong with the child. Nothing except the fact that he was an only child and he was male. His mother had died shortly after having him which left everyone wondering what to do. Never before had there been a Red Queen that wasn't female. In fact, the fact that Tori was born a male had baffled everyone. None of the women before his mother had ever bore a male child and it was truly a mystery what to do. So, his father decided for everyone since he was the Red King. He decided that Tori would be the Red Queen like his mother before him and he would be treated like any other Red Queen. With respect. So, that was what happened.
Tori wasn't a fussy baby, but he showed the signs of being like the Red Queens before him when he became a toddler. He was impatient and mean when things didn't go his way. Once he even threw his utensils at the cook because his meal hadn't come out the way he wanted--he had only been five years old. The first time he had tried to have someone beheaded was when he was ten years old and it had been his playmate who only asked him to share his toys. Thankfully, his tantrums became less severe once he hit his teenage years. Instead he had begun to rebel against his father who was getting up in age in the first place since he had been in his forties when the Red Queen picked him. When Tori turned nineteen, he had his father exiled to Chessland, declaring there could not be two men in the palace that held positions of power. Honestly, those who knew Tori, knew he had done it for the reasons that his father was getting rather old and fragile and he didn't want the man in the palace near anything stressful. See? He had his good points.
The age of twenty was the life changing moment for Tori when was introduced to Starlight Lusca and he found himself in an arranged marriage that he honestly couldn't remember the proceedings. At first, everything was fine between the two. Then again, that was only for a week. Starlight began to give her opinions when they weren't asked for and Tori hated that. So, the two did everything they could to stay away from each other. In fact, Starlight even had her own bedroom fixed for the days when she simply could not stand Tori's presence. It is a love-hate-hate-HATE relationship. Lately in Wonderland, there have been talks of the "Alice" coming back and when Starlight informed Tori of the rumors, he kissed her, surprising the whole palace. That had been rather good news for him since that would mean entertainment. But it had been about two months since he heard the news so he was growing bored of waiting for this "Alice" to appear. Until then, he kept himself occupied by sending the White Rabbit on random missions and such.
All those little quirks:
There is nothing Tori hates more than being called the Red Queen, but since he is the descendent of the originally Red Queen, he cannot change his title to Red King because that does not hold as much power. The Red King, herself, does not care about her title and often argues with Tori to send her home where she would be happy. But there is a rumor that the Red King is pregnant but no one on the outside knows for sure. Not to mention, there are rumors going around that he is romantically involved with the White Rabbit and he has neither confirmed nor denied them and he has a sneaky suspicion that Starlight started the rumors.

But please call me:
A few people have called him Suki-chan or Atsuki-kun, but he goes by his first name because it is sensible.
This is what I see in the mirror:
✫ thinking.not.believing ✫
Satsuki is really no bigger than his brother when it comes to the width of his body but he is certainly taller. He stands at five foot, seven inches and is only a couple of centimeters from eight inches. His weight is not stable since he gains and loses frequently, but he has done the mean/average and came up with hundred and twenty-one pounds which couldn't be particularly healthy. His skin is pale, but thankfully, not pasty and sickly looking. His body appears to be equal on top and bottom and his arms are lanky, but have slight toning to them. His legs were tone as well, but most of his toning had to do with walking or running places, nothing sports related. His hair is a lovely shade of blue which he and his brother has inherited from their mother, but unlike his brother, he let his grow out some and is able to put it in a short, low ponytail. From his father, he has inherited nothing, except possibly his eyesight but his eye color comes from his mother's mother. It was a blue-purple which sometimes darkens if his mood changes. Not many people at school get the opportunity to see his eyes without glass in between since he wears glasses to correct his near-sighted vision while in class.
When it comes to clothing, Satsuki's is a dress shirt and slacks kind of guy and isn't too big on wearing tight or loose clothing. To make a serious impression, he'll throw on a vest and a tailored jacket with shiny shoes. That isn't the only thing he wears--he's also a turtleneck kind of guy. Even in the summer, he can sometimes be found wearing a turtleneck. Sure, he is usually in the house wearing his turtleneck but it is still strange. On relaxed days, he might wear a shirt t-shirt, jeans, and sneakers. Maybe throw in some shorts or sweatpants if he felt really out of it. He hardly ever wears accessories, maybe a watch or two, and he has one gold stud in his right ear but that is only because he had been testing it out and had gotten used to it. All in all, he normally has the look of a businessman.

From the beautiful country, Japan.
People say I’m:
Satsuki is not someone who would be described as a dreamer. No, he is a logical person. If there is no explanation behind something, then it does not exist. Plain and simple. Everything has a place and if it doesn't, he likes to find a place to put everything. So, it is safe to say that he is a bit OCD, so he doesn't particularly care for clutter or disorganization. He has been told on many occasions that he is smart and people often try and partner up with him when assignments come up. He is book smart and has plenty of common sense and does not remain idle when somthing needs to be solved. When it comes to dealing with people, he is polite yet distant and does not care to make friends with the people around him. He isn't the warmest person. At least, not in public.
There are two sides to Satsuki and the other side of him only comes out around his family. See, he isn't one to dream but he does tell stories that were told to him by his grandmother about Wonderland. When he runs out of the original stories, he makes things up, showing his creative side that people thought he did not have. His heart is warmed of the ice that surrounds it when he is around his little brother and little sister. He becomes Super Satsuki and he is playful yet stern when needed since he is the one who raises his siblings. That is the only reason he is so serious outside of home, because he carries the responsibility that should belong to his parents. He works hard so he will be able to find a good-paying job and move his siblings far away from the chaos that is called home. He does not dream because he is too busy planning and putting those plans into action. He is sometimes a walking contradiction. But only when it concerns his siblings.
Once upon a time:
Satsuki came from a family that had a strange history that was passed down as a children's story which he did not learn about until he went to live with his grandmother. The time before he went to live with his grandmother, he stayed in a small apartment with his mother and father and as a child, he couldn't stop crying long enough to be content. His parents had always argued but when he got around the age of two, it got worse, so they sent him to stay with his grandmother. He had cried for a week afterwards and that was what prompted his grandmother into telling him stories of Wonderland that were told to her. When he asked her if he could go, she told him that if he really wanted to, he could go. She figured that he would grow out of it and forget all about the stories in a year or two. His grandmother let him do all the things that children were generally suppose to do and she would have kept him longer but his mother showed up, pregnant, and ready to take him home. This caused more crying on Satsuki's part, but right before he left, his grandmother whispered in his ear that he could always go to Wonderland with his little brother or sister but only if he didn't cry anymore. So, he sniffled, grabbed his mother's hand, and walked out the door, shedding some of his last tears. There was a new house to live in and a new person to love and take care of.
When his little brother Umeko was born, Satsuki had immediately stepped up to the plate as a big brother. Sure, his parents didn't neglect them but they were so busy fighting that some needs got overlooked, so he had to take care of them. At the young age of nine, he learned to grocery shop and cook, using more than just the microwave. Not everything he made was good, but it was edible and that was what would help them survive. He could remember the nights his parents would be screaming at each other and Umeko would start to cry and he would take his little brother out of the crib and tell him stories of Wonderland. Never had he tried to go there with his little brother because he learned at an early age that dreams didn't always come true and people had to make their own reality.
On those days where there was nothing to do, Satsuki would grab books and magazines and teach him and his brothers things. Well, at first, they stared at it, but he eventually got to the age where he could understand it. When he turned twelve, he was put into classes for the gifted because teachers had noticed his detailed work and that the work appeared too easy for him. He excelled in his classes and when talk of skipping grades came up, he skipped the grade and was finally challenged and still did above average but did not work as hard because things changed again. His parents appeared to think that having children would make things better because when he was eighteen, his little sister Minako was born and he had someone else to look out for. Though his parents weren't as bad as when he was younger, he still found himself and Umeko taking care of Minako. Not to mention, he spent most of his time worrying about Umeko since the other appeared to have a problem that he wouldn't talk about with him. The day that Umeko stopped going to school was the day that Satsuki finally figured out the problem that plagued his little brother. He heard kids around his brother's age talking about how they picked on some kid and that morning had put on his desk a photo of him and incense with candles and other memorial items. That had shocked Satsuki so that he never got the chance to confront the kids and he couldn't find the strength to tell his brother that he knew.
After that day and graduation, Satsuki went out and got a job, working near the house at the local library instead of heading off to college. He couldn't live home yet with his brother and sister still there. No, he had to save up money before he went anywhere so he would be able to afford an apartment. He told no one of his plans, but when entrance exams for college came back around after he turned twenty, he took them and was pleased to see that he got into the school that he wanted. His account was filled with just enough money to buy an apartment and pay for rent for the first two months. Things were going to work out... He would make them work.
All those little quirks:
Satsuki has a bit of mother hen in him and it is understandable since he takes care of his two siblings. As logical as he is though, he secretly wishes that a place like Wonderland existed so he and his siblings could escape the world of fighting and bickering that their parents created.

It was bad enough being named Kit, but people called him Kitten, Kitty, and Birdie. But his family called him "Lucky" for a rather interesting reason.
This is what I see in the mirror:
✫ call.me.crazy ✫
Kit stands at five foot, ten inches and a half, but normally he is hunched over a book, so he isn't normally standing at his full height. He weighs about hundred and thirty-four pounds but he has been told that he looks like he weighs a little bit more. So, it is safe to say that he isn't considered lean or lithe, but a little bit muscular. He says muscular because he doesn't like the term flabby, since he isn't flabby. He's in between lean and flabby, and he turns people into frogs if they say otherwise. Honestly, he isn't flabby but because he thinks he is, he wears loose, colorful clothing such as hakamas or saris and he does not have a shortage of robes, a surplus in fact.
His hair is bordering dirty blonde, but is still lighter than the actual dirty blonde, and it is short but almost reaches his shoulders. On top of his head, there would sit bunny ears but there are none but the area where his ears would be located is stitched up, so people often question his ancestry, thinking he was not a March Hare. So, because of an incident he suffered as a child, he has human ears under his hair that are medium-sized and he has multiple holes for earrings. His skin had a light peach tint to it, saving him from being pale. He wears long dangling earrings and often carries around a light blue staff with jewels placed in it. Also, he has piercing blue eyes that always seemed to look right through people. That is one of the most noticable things about him.

Ah yes, Kit is located in Wonderland. Growing up, he lived on the edges of the Wandering Sea, but when he got older, he moved to the Duchy. He lives across from the Mad Hatter.
People say I’m:
Kit is known for being rather eccentric when it comes to clothing as well as his personality. There isn't a moment really where Kit is down in the dumps unless it is a rather serious situation, then he will be serious and attentive to whoever is having the problem. But normally, he is rather peppy and likes to cheer up people up though his methods are rather insane. He normally gets along well with other people and doesn't have a problem with going with the flow. He is always up for new challenges and likes to study plants and herbs so he can make new potions, or medicines. All in all, he sounds like a wonderful guy, yes? Well, though the times are rare, when Kit gets upset about something, he tends to go out of his way to be cruel and sarcastic, leveling his opponent with childish or biting remarks. Not to mention, he likes to taunt whomever has upset him and he tends to hold a grudge for a rather long time.
Now, when around the Mad Hatter, Kit does not seem like his normal self. In fact, he likes to tease the other male by pretending he gets bored and aloof and he ignores half the things that the Mad Hatter says, just to get on his nerves. He likes the Tweedle twins well enough as long as they do not hog the Hatter's attention. It can be said that Kit gets a bit possessive of people he likes and he likes the Hatter. Not in a romantic sense, but in the sense that the Hatter is his best friend and up until a certain point, was his only friend. So, he likes to keep it that way and tries to tolerate the Tweedles even if he feels threatened.
Once upon a time:
The March Hares were close to the Mad Hatters and it was obvious why--both families were a bit insane. Their way of living and doing were unethical to many and unheard of by some. But that wasn't all. Some people suspected that the Mad Hatter and March Hare were planning a mutiny against the Red Queen. Thankfully, it had only been a rumor that was squashed quickly after the Mad Hatter ran off and had a baby. The March Hare soon followed his friend's example and did the same. Thus, the line of the March Hare continued. Even as the originals died, the families remained close with one another. At least, up until the fourth generation, there was talk of a falling out that drove the March Hare to relocate on the edges of the Wandering Sea. There, they continued populating the area and there was where Kit Nightingale was born. Now, the name was a strange one and the truth of the matter was the March Hares did not use last names. So, for each child, they invented a first and last name and left it out that.
Unfortunately for Kit, he was named after a bird and he was a rabbit. See the problem? Kids picked on him and animals laughed at him for his odd name. Some went as far as to tug on his ears, declaring he didn't need them since he was a bird. Finally, when Kit turned ten, someone really got the idea that he didn't need them and he woke up in his bed to his mother screaming. There had been blood all over his pillow, but yet, they did not know the source until everyone realized that Kit's ears were missing. They kept asking Kit what happened but he couldn't honestly answer. He wasn't sure if he had slept through it or not. All he knew was his head hurt and he had human ears and it simply wasn't natural. His family began to call him Lucky after that because it could have always been worse. One of his siblings even got him a rabbit's foot as a gag, but Kit treasured it, not knowing what was to come for he and his siblings.
Being the youngest of nine, he already received certain privileges that his siblings did not but after the incident, the world was open to him. Anything he wanted, he received. His siblings began to resent him and call him names like the kids he had played with would do. His mother always assured him that they would get over it. So, she continued to shower him with gifts and eventually taught him a little of the magic she knew. Sure, it wasn't a lot but it was enough to get Kit hooked and it was the final blow for his siblings...
Finally, the home of the March Hares was no longer a peaceful place after years of fighting. Kit was seventeen when he decided that he had to make things right. He left home. It had been an impulsive decision, but he never regretted it. With bags packed, he left for the place that his family once lived and found himself a vacant house across from the descendent of the Mad Hatter. So, with a big smile, he went over to introduce himself and he was thrown for a loop when the owner answered the door and tried to seduce him. Being a virgin, Kit refused with flat look and pouty lips, storming out of the house and back into his own. But the next day, he tried again and ignored all the Mad Hatter's advances. It took time, but a friendship developed between the two and eventually they called each other best friend. Throughout the years, Kit played with the little magic he knew and studied potion making, better known as medicine making, and he often shared his knowledge with the Mad Hatter. It was such a peaceful life, well as peaceful as it could be for the insane. When talk of the Alices began to spread, he found himself curious and a little excited. What would these Alices bring?
All those little quirks:
Kit can do magic. Nothing extreme, mind you, but he can do little parlor trips almost. Like he can levitate off the ground and he can make something float for like a few seconds. He makes potions and studies magic because he likes being able to do things that many people can not do. Also, ever since his rabbit ears were removed by causes unknown to him, he gets headaches from time to time.

--+…The Black Knight…+--
The puppetmaster is:
Pinky Magica
The name on my birth certificate is:
Rupert A. Frost
But please call me:
Ruppie is just fine, but he'll answer to Rup too. Anything else will be carefully considered.
This is what I see in the mirror:
✫ color.me.green ✫
When you think of a knight, Rupert does not come to mind. He's only about 5'8 and some inches and weighs around 130lbs, but you need to take a closer look. Underneath those clothes, Rupert has muscles. He's not bulky, but he's not scrawny either. He's more toned if anything and take a hold of his biceps and see. He has dark green hair that borderlines brown when he's in the dark. His hair is short and there are signs that it is trimmed daily. His eyes are the same dark green color and only darkens when he is intense about something. His skin is tanned, but it has lightened up since he's been in hiding. On Rupert's face, there is a four-inch scar that runs across the bridge of his nose.
Well, before the takeover of Chessland, Rupert could normally be seen in his black armor. But afterwards, Rupert migrated to plain clothing. He likes to wear a mixture of colors, but he is rather fond of purple and blue. His clothes are normally form-fitting, but he does wear baggy clothes when he is just lounging or sleeping. His fingernails and toenails are normally colored black, no matter what he is wearing. He paints them daily. Also, he wears long black boots that stop somewhere in the middle of his calf. He doesn't wear jewelry or anything shiny. When he knows that he'll be outside for a long period of time, he wears scarves or hoods.
The doctor said I was a:
Loud bundle of joy? Oh, Rupert's a male.
Every year I get a little bit older:
Rupert's been around for about twenty-four years and some months.
I like the:
Unknown. Rupert doesn't know what he likes. He's never liked anyone. The only people he even speaks to are the Duke and the White King. So, he likes them---if that's okay.
I happen to come from this side of the mirror:
Chessland is the home that Rupert will claim.
People say I’m:
Rupert is different, but in a good way. In the dictionary, Rupert's face is beside the word dense. For someone who likes to think and plan things out, Rupert is very slow on the uptake sometimes. It's frustrating to try and subtly tell Rupert something only for him to blink at you with wide eyes. But it's not Rupert's fault! As a child, he was inquisitive but no one ever told him anything, so he was always left to figure things out by himself. Even now, Rupert is very independent when it comes to figuring out something. He hates to ask for help, so he tends to figure out things two steps behind everyone else. Only on things that don't really concern him. Most things, Rupert is already knowing of, especially when it has to do with the happenings in Wonderland, such as the arrival of Alice. Now you're probably thinking that Rupert's a bit of an idiot, right? Well, stop, because he's not. Rupert is actually intelligent. It's only the common sense part of the package that he's lacking. What else is there to know about Rupert? Well, he's insanely obsessive about certain things being a certain way. He tends to whine and pout if something isn't going the way that it was suppose to. He is serious most of the time though and he tries his best to be a voice of reason, especially when it comes to dealing with the Duke or the White King. He tries his best to remain patience with everyone, but sometimes, he wants things done right then, right there and there is no way to stop him from following through with whatever he has planned. As a knight, Rupert has a strong belief in loyalty and he is only loyal to the Duke and the White King. He only fights when he is protecting those that are important to him. Rupert is quite the character and he can change in an instant.
Once upon a time:
To be honest, the first few years of Rupert's life was nothing special. He was like any other child in Chessland. Until the age of four. When Rupert was four, he saw knights practicing for battle and he was immediately fascinated at the sight. He went home and told his parents that he wanted to be a knight. His father was delighted but his mother was afraid for him. He was her only child, she didn't want to lose him. Rupert promised to be careful. So, he began to train and he would go to the Black King everyday to see if he was good enough. Everyday, the Black King would tell him, "Not quite there." So, everyday after that, Rupert would train and train. One day, a knight was sent to challenge Rupert without his knowledge. The fight was brutal for Rupert, but he managed to win. With a scar on his face, he headed to the Black King and he was delighted to see that he was finally good enough.
Training had been hard and brutal, but being a knight made it all worthwhile. Rupert's father was able to boast to others about his son the Knight. While his mother only fretted and worried over Rupert every day. Rupert was happy with the ways things were going, he couldn't imagine life getting better.
Well, life didn't get better. It got worse. The Queen of Hearts came in and started war in Chessland. While the White King and Queen went into hiding, the Black King and Queen did not, so it was up to the knights to protect the royal family. Unfortunately, they did not succeed. The King and Queen were put to death. Rupert's family was killed as well in the war. He did not know what to do after that. After leaving the North, Rupert went to check the South and he noticed that it was in the same state as the North. While in the South, there was someone who made Rupert have a purpose again. The White King. Rupert had found him hiding and it tugged at Rupert's heartstrings. So, he stayed with the White King. While they were in hiding, the Red Queen came and took over Chessland. There was nothing to be done. Any sort of resistance died out when the Queen of Hearts came in and destroyed everything. So, Rupert continued to stay with the White King, but as time went on, Rupert began to feel restless. Something had to be done. The remaining people in Chessland were miserable and the Red Queen was relentless. So, the Black Knight began to think of a plan---something he used to be known for in combat. The only way to make the people happy was to get rid of their oppressor and the oppressor was now the Red Queen. Rupert shared his ideas with the White King and they came to an agreement. The Red Queen had to go.
Time had passed and nothing had been done yet. Rupert tried to come up with different scenarios that he thought could work. Nothing ended with good results. Then one day, he and the White King ran across the Duke. After capturing the other and telling him their plans, they had the Duke on their side. Rupert felt that the Duke would be a significant player in the plans. Not only did he have power and the Red Queen couldn't touch him, but he was scary as hell and that helped with something, right? Rupert's life was filled with working to take the Red Queen down. Sure, it wasn't the best life, but it gave Rupert purpose.
All those little quirks:
Ever met someone who collects hair? Well, Rupert does. He will actually snip it off while talking to a person and place it in a book. He used to have books filled with hair. But after the Red Queen took over, Rupert has had to start his hair collection all over again. Rupert is afraid of Cheshire cats. He is happy that there is only one family left. He's hoping the go extinct soon. The source of his fear is unknown, but if a Cheshire cat is in the area, expect to see Rupert disguised as a moving bush.

>>♦ Gardenia-mooN's Characters ♦<<
--+…The Mad Hatter.…+--
The puppetmaster is:
Gardenia-mooN.
The name on my birth certificate is:
Dahlia Fiore.
But please call me:
Dahi, Lia, Doll.
This is what I see in the mirror:
Moi~<3
Dahlia has always been a very beautiful man, standing at six foot three he is one of the tallest and most recognizable members of Wonderland. He weighs in at around one hundred and fifty two pounds all of it is muscle and he has a tall lean figure that can be seen as intimidating but also as breathtaking. He skin is a light peach color which gives him just enough color to not be pale yet he is not and will never be very tan. His limbs are all long and elegant and he had been told that he has a swan like neck, even his fingers are long and artistic looking. His fingernails are also long and often painted in a variety of different colors and patterns. His face is angular and aristocratic and very beautiful almost as pretty as a girls with a strong slightly upturned elven nose and a pair of high cheek bones. His lips are full as are normally tinted a deep rose red color making them a beautiful striking feature. Dahlia has sharp looking eyes that are framed with long dark brown almost black eyelashes and well defined eyebrows of a similar color. His eyes themselves are the same color as wine and people say hold the drunken insanity of the original mad hatter in them.
He has long brown hair that has many different shades from a dark chocolate brown to a warm forest brown to a deep cinnamon red brown. Dahlia's hair goes down to his lower waist and is normally loose and had a few tiny braids mixed in giving him an exotic wild look. He likes putting on makeup and nail polish and various other designs on his body and face and hair. Yet the one thing Dahlia is known for is his clothing and of course his hats. Dahlia is a mad hatter so of course he wears very formal clothing, suits and male's renaissance style clothes that give him a regal and beautiful air. His various top hats are large almost over sizes and are all different colors and patterns to match whatever clothing he happens to be wearing at the time. He is always flashy and always good looking though, although it does come with the territory.
The doctor said I was a:
Male.
Every year I get a little bit older:
Twenty five.
I like the:
Boy and girls and anything in between, he isn't picky about lust or love.
I happen to come from this side of the mirror:
From Wonderland specifically, The Duchy.
People say I’m:
Dahlia is insane. This is because he is the mad hatter after all. A wild personality that allows itself to be led by its own rules, he has been known to do many odd even dangerous things on a whim but mostly he is a man of passion. They say there isn't a man of woman in wonderland that he doesn't know intimately in bed, he isn't a player or even a slut he just seems to do things for the sake of fun. Dahlia has been known to break quite a few hearts but he doesn't seem to understand it very much since he dances from on person to the next. He has never been seen angry of sad but is very very thoughtful and seems to ask people many many questions whenever he sees them. The mad hatter is almost eerily knowing about the events of wonderland and never seems phased by anything, he just knows and he is probably on of the key controllers of wonderland. Hopefully the return of the Alice boys will bring about the change his personality needs to grow out of his insanity or fall farther into it...
Once upon a time:
The mad hatter had always been the mad hatter because of this many assumed that his was a line that would quickly die out. After the Alice revolution he just wasn't the same but then something changed the line of mad hatters once and for all. The mad hatter met a flower, yet one of the flowers in the garden and he fell in love with this flower some how some way the two had a child and ever since then hatter children seem to bloom up unexpectedly whenever the hatter truly desires one. Every child is named after a flower and every child has the same traits. Incredible beauty a naturally enticing and lovely scent that goes beyond that of any flower and the insanity and madness of the first mad hatter. It happened this way for years and years until of course Dahlia was born.
The flower child was beautiful and stunningly mad just like all the rest but there was something more. He seemed to know things and do things that no one could explain, he had no siblings his parents died when he was young and yet the Duchy itself took him in and he was raised in a way where he slowly grew madder and madder until he was know as the true Mad Hatter of the Duchy. Even when he was alone he did things that the other hatters before him never did, he was young and yet he had tempted many away from their lovers and created practically a harem of beautiful men and women around him who went desperately to his tea parties to gain his heart. No one had ever succeeded and no one will ever succeed. The Mad Hatter has no heart they say despite being a hot and passionate lover his insides are as cold and frozen a ice itself.
Finally at the age of twenty five Dahlia seemed to become bored and dissatisfied, he had been with almost everyone and done almost everything and yet he felt empty. One could only have so many unbirthdays before one grows tired and bitter. He knew the things that would happen and he had gotten sullen and static. No one in Wonderland was interesting anymore and then it happened, he was sure he felt it in his bones. The feeling of the Alice boys coming. He knows that they were not going to be a pair of girls but a pair of boys and that it was probably only a matter of time and he felt the shock go up his spine. He felt the excitment and desire swell up inside of him like waves int e ocean. Dahlia wanted more than anything to meet them and to see how they stirred up the boring place called Wonderland. Dahlia had become excited and bright and mad once more and it was a rebirth of the original charm and madness that he had been born with.
All those little quirks:
Dahlia is a decedent of the flowers in the Rose Garden. His tea and incense may contain drugs since many people feel as though they are high around him, he is an amazing cook though. It is also debated on whether or not he can fight or is deadly, no one has ever found out and not one would want to.

--+…Alice boy, younger brother.…+--
The puppetmaster is:
Gardenia-mooN.
The name on my birth certificate is:
Umeko, Fujioka.
But please call me:
Ume, Meko, Cho-chan are all his nicknames only his brother and sister use them.
This is what I see in the mirror:
...?
Umeko is small, he has always been small and will always be small unlike his older brother and most other males he knows he has never been tall or muscular at all. He normally stands at around five feet three and a half inches and is about one hundred pounds exactly making him seriously tiny and fragile. He has pale milk colored skin that has been considered similar to that of a china dolls. He isn't very muscular at all and has little definition giving him a more smooth childlike body even though he is already sixteen. His skin is smooth and without any scarring or any other marks, that matched with his naturally frail looking body makes him look delicate and kind of weak at the same time. He has a face that should be sharper and more angular but it is smooth and rounded giving him even more of a childish look. Puffy cheeks and a button nose cute plump lips the color of a pink cherry blossom. He is cute everything on him his pink and white, pale and soft. It is just how he is and how he looks although he is really adorable at times.
Umeko has wide rounded eyes that are framed by long inky black eyelashes that curl and make his gaze even more rounded and cute. His eyebrows are the same inky black color and are well defined but are often covered by his bangs, it looks rather well defined gives him a pretty face. His eyes themselves are golden, the kind of soft gold that one sees in a sunset or maybe in sunflowers at times. His hair is the same as his older brothers, dark black and navy blue, the different shades of blue and black and even a little bit of indigo and purple. He loves his hair because it it the same as his brothers. His hair is soft and fluffy and rather silky, it is short and tends to fluff out in every single which direction, it also goes into his face quite a bit too in an adorable timid fashion. His clothing is often loose and tends to be well worn, he likes pretty traditional clothing and would probably wear it every day but it costs a bit and he also doesn't like standing out very much. Umeko tends to look childlike no matter what.

Boy, since he can't really be called a man yet.
Every year I get a little bit older:
Sixteen, rather awkward painful years...
I like the:
Has slowly started to become curious about boys, has never been interested in girls.
I happen to come from this side of the mirror:
He is from Japan, the country where the cherry blossom lives.
People say I’m:
Umeko has a rather reclusive personality. It isn't that he is shy, it is more that he is insecure and a bit closed off from others. He likes being close to people he knows he can trust and dislikes being around strangers or people with overbearing or frightening personalities because of this he can come off as timid or too serious or cautious but it is more fear than anything else. Umeko fears people like the people who had been in his class and the people that are like his parents, he fears ending up arguing with people to he is a bit of a pushover because of it. He acts serious most of the time and puts up a blank face because it hides his emotions well and because it hides his insecurities well. The two people he actually is open with would be his older brother and his younger sister. Umeko is often childish and overly kind with both, always attempting to take care of and watch over his little sister and always clinging to his brother and hiding behind him like a security blanket. Umeko has started to become afraid of ever leaving his house or even his room because he is sure bad things will happen to him, this makes him a distrusting person who is a bit on the paranoid side from time to time. He is kind but it is mostly towards his brother and sister, those are the only two people he trusts and he loves them dearly. Yet with everyone else he is a serious blank person who will do everything he is told so as not to be yelled at.
Once upon a time:
Umeko was born the second child in his family, when he was born his own brother was actually away with some relatives but he doesn't really remember the time because he was a baby back then. He was born to a mother and a father and an older brother and much much later on he was given a cute little sister. His family was rather nice at first kind of except that his mother and father didn't get along very well, they would well...they would fight from time to time which led to his brother and him sticking closer together all the time. He grew to love his brother very very much, instead of loving his parents like most small children, he threw all of his affection and love to his older brother who meant more to him than the whole world. He grew up a rather lonely child who didn't have very many friends yet he always seemed pretty content and happy because he had his brother who was the best person in the whole world to him.
Then he entered high school. That was when he became a hikikomori, a hikikomori is a person who hides away in their home or room in a kind of agoraphobia. He started high school and his quiet passive nature caught the eyes of the school bullies, at first it was little things like small coughs that were really mean names or tripping him when he walked down the hall or in the classroom. Then it escalated, the other boys would lock him in the bathroom and poor dirty mop water on him or they would put razors in his books or pins in his shoes and clothes. He was taking it all silently, eh didn't even tell his dear brother about it because his brother was busy with school and preparing for college and Umeko didn't want to distract him. He could have taken all of that, even being beat up or cursed at or ignored by everyone. It was just...one morning he walked into the classroom and on his desk was a photo of him and incense with candles and other memorial items. It-it meant that he was dead...he was dead to them and Umeko didn't understand why. He ran away and cried and cried and cried and thenhe just stopped. He stopped.
Umeko went into his room and didn't come out, he would sometimes get meals and he would always go after his little sister and older brother but he was unable of going to school or leaving the house. Umeko found a way to get all of his school work through the internet or at least sent to him and he never left his home or at least he hasn't left it yet but how can a boy who is so terrified of leaving the safety of his room and his brother ever going to handle being in a totally foreign place like wonderland? Umeko has no idea what will be in store for him and yet it might be good for him to finally be free from the cage he has trapped himself in.
All those little quirks:
Umeko enjoys reading fantasies and fairytales but doesn't really believe in them, he just finds them to be a nice escape. Umeko is unable to swim he never learned and if therefore terrified of being in the water. Umeko is a surprisingly good singer, it is actually his only real talent sadly.

--+…The Caterpillar.…+--
The puppetmaster is:
Gardenia-mooN.
The name on my birth certificate is:
Vanessa Aceline.
But please call me:
Vaness, Nessy, Chibi-chan.
This is what I see in the mirror:
It's a bug!
Vanessa is a rather odd boy, technically his size changes quite a bit. When he is in his him he is five inches and five centimeters tall and his weight if very very light. While when he is out of his home he is five feet and five inches and he weighs in at one hundred and twenty four pounds. He really is a light weight but he doesn't look frail or weak at all, he is reminiscent of a sturdy butterfly that just keeps flying even in the worst of weathers. He has pale skin but it isn't unhealthy looking, he just has the typical fair skin of someone who spends their time in the shade instead of in the sun. It is because bright sun easily burns his skin, despite this he does have a healthy flush most of the time and isn't so pale that he would look like someone who has an illness or something. His body is in good proportions, his arms and legs aren't longer that normal and he seems to have an average and yet cute body. He has a round face with a small nose and squeezable cheeks matched with full friendly lips the color of pink lemonade, they always seem to be in a smiling shape too. One special part of Vanessa is that he had a pair of thin pale whitish pink butterfly wings that have an angel wing shape. They are very delicate but he can fly with them.
Vanessa his emerald colored eyes that are wide and rounded giving him a pleasantly curious look, his bright green eyes are often hidden behind large round circular glasses. He has the adorable dork look going for him most of the time because of this. His eyelashes are thick and frame his eyes in a shy kind of way, his eyebrows are the same dark reddish brown color as his eye lashes and are thick and well defined as well. His hair itself is a bright reddish orange, kind of like tiger lilies and it is very very bright and pretty in color. He does have bangs that frame his face lightly and he also has a rather cute hair cut, some pieces go down to his shoulder while others are shorter and more pixie like in their cut. Vanessa wears lots of brightly colored clothes and shiny things and normally his clothing is modest and at the same time very funky and cute. Despite his age he tends to dress in a very young way.
The doctor said I was a:
He is male although some think he is a girl.
Every year I get a little bit older:
He is actually twenty one although he looks younger...like twelve.
I like the:
He is a bit innocent but he does have a preference for male...even if he doesn't realize it.
I happen to come from this side of the mirror:
His home is in Wonderland, in the Uvasmal Stucherey.
People say I’m:
Vanessa is a sweet heart, a very kind trusting person who is pretty friendly to almost everyone. He is a dreamy soul, one that easily floats away and gets distracted but he is also very sweet and polite. He has been known to get flustered easily and is pretty simple as far as his reasoning and thoughts go but he is a genuine person. Vanessa is a caring motherly person although most will say his forgetful ditsy nature makes more people worry about him than anything else. It is true, he gets lost easily and gets distracted by bright colorful things but he does give good advice sometimes. Only when the people around him least expect it, though. Vanessa is very humble and doesn't see himself as a pretty butterfly even though he is, he sees himself as more of a tiny caterpillar and nothing more or less. He is easily amazed by things and doesn't get upset or angry easily. He will blush on command, though since most things sound indecent to him. His motto tends to run along the "naughty thoughts are bad" section and even though he is flighty and a bit of a clutz he always knows when people are saying bad things. He is sort of the type that is smart and stupid at the same time and can be remarkably dense and remarkably observant all at the same time.
Once upon a time:
The caterpillar of course grew into a butterfly and had many children. Yet as time went on the line of children dwindled downwards until there was only one child and that child was Vanessa. It seemed as though the hookah smoking tendencies in the caterpillar lineage caused a lot of disease and shorter lifespans. It was kind of sad yet Vanessa's parents warned him against doing such naughty and bad activities like smoking the hookah or thinking naughty thoughts or getting into fights. Vanessa took all he learned from them to heart and was very very sad when his precious parents died and left him all alone. He lived in the Uvasmal Stucherey and was well known there, in that area he was seen as a prince of sorts and was treated with a lot of kindness and caring. In that was he was sort of lucky, he was given the feelings of being warm and loved from all around him. No one ever said a bad thing about him and he was sheltered from the rest of the world. His kingdom was all he knew and all he cared for. He wandered around it, day in and day out and he learned to deeply love and appreciate his home yet all of that changed.
He was around thirteen when he first left his home and went into the larger world, at the time he was still a caterpillar. Vanessa was used to kind people but the ones outside of his home were rude to him and called him weak and pathetic, caterpillars were never pretty like their later forms were. This hurt Vanessa deeply but he tried very hard to make friends and to get the people around him to like him, he did meet a few people who found his sweetness endearing and who were nice to him. Vanessa still was shunned a little bit, if the caterpillar wasn't smoking a hookah or sharing his smokey wisdom then he was useless to the rest. The flowers had liked him and so did the other small peaceful members of Wonderland yet there were indeed many who simply treated him with cruelty. It was hard for him, he wasn't used to being so maltreated but Vanessa did grow from it. Despite learning to be kind he also learned to hold on to a tough outer shell to protect himself from being deeply wounded by those who may have enjoyed verbally of physically beating on him. He was a good boy and he also learned how to be a confident and yet humble boy as well.
It was around this time that he returned to his kingdom and he blossomed into the butterfly that everyone who had known him always knew he could be. Even now he is still a kind peaceful soul who often helps anyone who comes to him. His soft yet strong personality matched with his firm sort of kindness has made him a very popular person and he truly turned into the butterfly that he always was inside. Vanessa has heard things of an Alice before but doesn't fully understand it, he secretly thinks that it would be fun to meet with and become friends with an Alice and often giggles and dreams about meeting his very own Alice and chit chatting with her or him for as long as they'd like. He has simple dreams and a kind warm heart. He is after all the last in the Caterpillar line in Wonderland.
All those little quirks:
Vanessa loves sewing and has made many different items. He also enjoys watching or reading stories and is like a child when he dreams. Vanessa is fond of the scent of sandalwood and it is the one scent that will easily trap him is one wanted to do so.

--+…The White King…+--
The puppetmaster is:
Gardenia-mooN.
The name on my birth certificate is:
Belun, Vasili, Adelina.
But please call me:
Sire, Your Majesty, White King, Pure King...he seems to prefer to be called Bel or Bel-Bel but no one does.
This is what I see in the mirror:
His adult form. His child form.
In his adult form Belun is around five feet and nine inches so he isn't the shortest member of Wonderland or the tallest, he is definitely in the middle category. His child form is one of the smallest member of wonderland standing at a mere three feet and seven inches. They are both a fair weight for their height and are slightly slimmer than most males, they definitely don't have the muscles of a hardened fighter. In fact they are a bit softened especially the younger form that is soft and plush and has no muscles at all, just baby fat. Their skin is the same light peach tone, just warm enough to make them seem bright and warm and just light enough for those around them to understand that they are unable to tan. They have rather slim fingers that are manicured in pretty ways most of the time. Their bodies lack the scars or hard calluses of someone who works for a living or fights for a living. They have very delicate fragile looking bodies in general which give people an urge to protect them.
Their faces are similar too, soft and plush more feminine than masculine and with an odd sort of grace. Their lips are full and pouting almost so that one wants to press kisses on them constantly, they are a deep coral color. Their eyes are wide and are framed with bright white eye lashes that are so thick and lacy that they seem like that were made perfectly to frame the ebony colored eyes that fall underneath them. Those dark eyes are round and black, perfect pools of darkness that look startling on such a pure looking face. Their nose is dainty and button like and their cheeks are full and almost ask to be poked. They have slender eyebrows that are well defined white streaks above their eyes. Balan's hair is the same in either form, pure white sea foam colored locks that curl and twist in pretty waves all along his face, his hair is thick and soft as silk in his adult form but is more fluffy in his child form, it reached the nape of his neck in either for and covers his face in a shy way.
The White King wears white always. When in child form he generally wears a pair of slightly loose white silk pajamas that make him seem even more cuddly and cute. In his adult form rather intricate white outfits are his to wear, often seeming overly formal. Pearl and diamonds are the things most often seen decorating him and crosses and flowers are among his favorite designs,
Look at me to see I’m:
Male.
Every year I get a little bit older:
His adult form his around twenty two years of age and his child form looks around five or six.
I like to date the:
He really has no clue...he had been married to his queen and he loved her but they never did the things married couples did and being around his two partners is making him reconsider the male sex.
I happen to come from this side of the mirror:
...Chessland or rather what is left of Chessland.
People say I’m:
His personality really depends on what form he is in. His child form is innocent over excitable and a little bit overly curious, he is deeply affectionate with his two partners and clings to them always. He seems frightened of strangers and much prefers to hang onto the people he is familiar with. The child form sort of represents the innocent oblivious side of Belun that he had to sacrifice and is the result of the trauma Belun experienced from his entire kingdom being destroy and the others of the White Kingdom being killed. Child Belun is very active and playful and likes helping out, he is sort of a crybaby when it comes to being separated from the Black Knight or the Duke. He seemed to like playing games and trying to cook things for people, he doesn't really know what is going on around him and will easily get confused. If he doesn't get snacks he is cranky but otherwise he is even tempered and sweet.
Belun as himself is much different, he is cold and distant and although he seems to like the Duke and the Black Knight he would never cling to them or act overly familiar with them. He holds himself back and has a large guilt over what happened to his Kingdom. Belun doesn't seem to forgive himself and works hard to be useful, he has a very cruel streak when it comes to his own fate and feels as if he deserves to be punished or harmed by others. One might call him almost masochistic. He isn't merely as open with his feelings and sees them as more of a hindrance than anything. Balun does his best to stop himself form enjoying any of the things he used to like and seems determined to punish himself for the things he considers wrong doings. It seems he has a lot of survivors guilt and is unable to push it aside, he doesn't like the red queen but blames himself for the horrible things that happened to his people, not the red queen.
Once upon a time:
The White Kingdom to the south was a beautiful place, the King and Queens that ruled there tended to be kind and fair and all the people were quite happy. So when Belun the next int he royal line was born everyone was quite happy. He was a sweet boy and a little too kind to be a good Queen but his fiance was perfect for protecting her husband and the people. He met her when he was a small child only about five and they played often. His White Queen was beautiful to him though many called her boyish and more handsome than pretty, she learned how to fight and he baked treats for her thought she often said she preferred less sweet things. It was a rather amusing engagement but everyone seemed happy with it.
They were married when he was sixteen and she was seventeen and they never really did marital activities. She often cooed and cuddled him and he still baked for her but at night she went off to a white knight and bishop, the other two women were her close friends and Belun liked that they got along so well. One day she admitted that those two women were her true loves and Belun was happy for her, their Kingdom stayed happy for a while even though their king and queen didn't have any children. If one were to be honest Belun wasn't all that aware at the time and din't realize that his wife was cheating on him and was just happy she was happy and to this day he will still say how happy he was for her.
Then the red queen came to take their land, soon all of their pawns fell to the army of the red queen. Then the rooks and knights and bishops. Belun's wife's lovers died too and in her broken hearted rage she went out and fought. Belun tried to go out and fight too but she had yelled and him and told him to live no matter what the cost. It was then that Belun turned into a child for the first time, he hid away in a small space int he castle and watched as the girl he loved and grew up with died protecting him and trying to save the honor of the two women she loved. Belun broke a little bit after that. He was unsure what to do or where to go and stayed unsure and lost for a while. The one who saved him was the Black Knight.
The other recognized him and they partnered up, stayed in hiding while waiting for the chance to defeat the red queen. He liked and grew close to the other and admired the way the other worked toward the goal. Then they met the Duke and they gained a third person who wanted to defeat the red queen. The three of them got together and slowly but surely their plans started to come together all they needed was the Alice to come. Belun eagerly awaits the day that he can make it up to his people and his wife for not being able to fight before.
All those little quirks:
Belun loves baking and is very good at it, he can back all sorts of treats and breads and all of them taste supremely delicious.
Despite being physically very weak he does seem to have some sort of power, bright white lights protect him sometimes and if he tries hard he can enter people's dreams.
Belun tends to put himself down more than he should and tends to give people more credit than they are due, it is a bad habit of his and leads him into trusting people far too much.
Belun has a few different sleeping issue and tends to either stay up for nights on end or sleep for days at a time, it makes him a rather confusing person to live with.

”But I don’t want to go among mad people.”
”Oh, you can’t help that. We’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad."
”How do you know I’m mad?”

~♠~♣~♥~♦~
Tap tap tap. ”Come on, come on come oooon…!” Tap tap tap. The young man standing on the street corner, staring fixedly at the ‘don’t walk’ sign, was drawing many a stare from the people around him. Maybe it was the fact that he was dressed oh so formally in a black suit ---the jacket even had tails!--- and a top hat. Maybe it was because the top hat had large white rabbit ears stitched to the brim. Maybe, just maybe, it was the way he was impatiently tapping his red-knobbed staff against the ground, and every five seconds it seemed, he would pull out a gold pocketwatch, stare at it, mutter under his breath, and look back at the street signs.
Or maybe it was because he was speaking another language. That could be a big one.
It wasn’t a different language in the true sense of the word. Any small child could understand what he was saying, and anybody with a spark of magic in them could also understand. But the only small child was standing on the other side of the street, and there wasn’t nearly enough magic left in this world. Well, mad people could probably understand him too, but there wasn’t nearly enough insanity wandering the streets anymore. Sure, this world was magical enough, with all its tech-no-lol-ogy, but their science-magic wasn’t the right kind of magic.
And they had way too many crosswalks.
So far, this ‘Japan’ was the worst of them all. Aetas had visited quite a few countries in search of ‘Alice’, but this country had by far the most crosswalks out of all of them. It seemed like every four steps there was another crosswalk. It was horrible. He was losing so much time waiting at these crosswalks, time that could be better spent searching for ‘Alice’. But nooo, instead he had to wait here with all the rest of these Japanese, watching the crossing signs and waiting for the light to turn green. Tap tap tap.
He didn’t want to be here. He didn’t want to be in Japan, specifically, but he didn’t want to be in this world, either. If he had to spend his whole life in Wonderland, he wouldn’t have been upset about the prospect at all. But the White Rabbit was given the responsibility of passing through the Mirrors, and so he had to do it. Plus, the Queen wanted entertainment.
That wasn’t unusual in the slightest. The Queen always wanted entertainment, and he always sent Aetas out to get it for him. But Aetas had pretty much exhausted anything entertaining in Wonderland long ago, and the Queen was so fickle sometimes. Aetas really didn’t want to lose his head… So he’d remembered how interested the Queen had seemed when the rumors first appeared about ‘Alice’ returning, and he’d though, I’ll find Alice in the Other World and bring her here. Surely that would be more than entertaining for the Queen.
Well, it had seemed like a good idea at the time.
Across the street, the sign turned green, and the people swarmed off the sidewalks, but Aetas was ahead of them all. He wasn’t running, but only because running required both feet to be off the ground at the same time. He was walking, but he was walking at Mach 5, and was across the street and down the sidewalk before the other people even hit the other side of the crosswalk. All the while, he was muttering under his breath, ”I’m gonna be late, I’m gonna be late, I’m so late and I’m going to lose my head--!” Bloody crosswalks. Bloody Other World. Bloody Alice.
It had been a near impossible search from the start. In the first country he’d gone to ---Ingland, it was called--- it had been near impossible to find any records of ‘Alice’. Do you know how many girls were named Alice at the time she came down the rabbit hole? On top of that, the writing was all backwards, so he couldn’t read anything. After the first trip, he’d brought along a hand mirror so he could read the documents, but it was still a trying affair. It was sheer luck that he’d found mention of Alice Liddell, and since that was the Queen’s last name, and everyone knew that the original Red Queen had been a relative of Alice, it was a good start. And he’d followed the Liddell line all the way to this bloody country of Japan, and…he’d lost them.
Aetas groaned as he found himself faced with another crosswalk. He stopped on the curb, only because it was preferrable to being run over by a car, and tapped his staff on the ground again, staring at the lighted sign. Walk. Don’t walk. Be late. Thank you, Japan. He hated crosswalks. He also hated Japan’s system of writing, because he couldn’t read it at all. Not only was it backwards, but it also wasn’t any known characters he could read. At least in Ingland, they’d used the right characters, even if they did reverse them. Japan had…like…pictograms or something. He’d followed Alice Liddell to Japan, and then he’d lost them because he couldn’t read the Japanese writing. And he was late. If there was ever a day to be beheaded, today was shaping up to be it.
Letting out a breath between his teeth, the Rabbit looked at his watch. If he got to the clothing store down the street in the next five minutes, he could go through the mirror and be back in Wonderland. He’d have to run, but he wouldn’t be late for his appointment with the Duke. Of course, with the rate these bloody crosswalk signs were going, he was never going to get back to Wonderland on time and his meeting with the Duke was going to go down in flames and he was probably going to get beheaded---!
Tap tap tap. ”Come oooon…!” Tap tap tap.

Satsuki says: " There is no time for dreaming because I have things to do. I must make any possible dreams a reality... If only I didn't have to grow up and become an adult so fast... "
╚══════════════════╝

Ever get the feeling that something was about to happen? Well, Satsuki had been plagued with that feeling all morning as he began to pack up things in his room. But he pushed the feeling down, not quite sure if it was his nerves that were really the cause of his angst. It had taken him a long time but he had finally managed to put a two bedroom apartment close to his school. There was even money left over to pay rent for like the first two months and he had money on him to buy a few groceries to get the place started. Everything was finally falling into place. Now, all he had to do was inform his parents of his idea. Sure, they would probably argue about it, but when weren't they arguing anyway? It wouldn't be any different from usual. Sighing softly, he looked at his half packed room and smiled sadly. Things could have been different, but he had to play the hand he was dealt. And he was determined to win.
With a lot of coaxing on his part, Satsuki had managed to get his younger brother Umeko out of his room and to go clothes shopping with him. He hadn't told his brother about his plan, but he did tell his whole family that he was moving out. His mother had done some crying and his father had grunted. Minako, his little three year old sister, had been eating at the time and was covered in rice. Umeko hadn't said much and it had worried Satsuki but he knew better than to pressure his brother into speaking. When the other was ready, he would speak and Satsuki would be ready to listen. It was the kind of relationship that they shared. Though, sometimes Satsuki couldn't wait and often found himself trying to get his brother to talk to him. He couldn't help it. The mother hen in him demanded he find out what was wrong and immediately move to fix it. Did that make him a bad person? He could only hope not.
"Squirrel!"
Satsuki was pulled from his musings by Minako who was tugging on his black slacks. He stared down at her and smiled as she reached her arms up to be picked up. He bent over, scooping her up, and blew raspberries at her. Hearing her giggle made him smile again.
"Squirrel!"
"Mina-chan, that's not a squirrel, it's a puppy." Satsuki had followed where his sister pointed and found himself staring down at some kind of dog that he wasn't too familiar with. They were inside one of the best clothing stores that Japan had to offer. At least, Satsuki thought the place was one of the best. He bought all his clothes from there. When Minako began to squirm around in his arms, he set her down and watched her run up to the glass and he couldn't help but frown. How was he going to maintain school and take care of his siblings? Sure, his parents fought a lot but they did manage to help him out, though it wasn't suppose to even be his job. Running his fingers through his hair, he briefly thought about the fact that perhaps he should get his hair cut soon. Something short. Don't want to be mistakingly for a woman...
His eyes shot down to his wristwatch and he looked around, trying to locate Umeko who couldn't have gone too far. It was time to eat and he needed to finish packing so it would be best if they left now to go and get food. So, he needed to round up his siblings. "Cho-chan?" Satsuki questioned, looking around before he went to pick up Minako and throwing her over his shoulders. "Think you can find Cho-chan?"
"Cho-chan! Cho-chan! Cho-chan!" The little girl chanted over and over, waving her arms and giggling. It may come as a shock but his and Umeko's names were Minako's first words. It had been one of the greatest gifts that Satsuki had received and he knew it meant a lot to Umeko as well. Now, to find Umeko so they could go get something to eat...

Umeko, Fujioka.
The Alice boy. ((Younger Brother.))
The Alice boy. ((Younger Brother.))
“Nothing makes us so lonely as our secrets.”
Who was that boy in the back of the clothing store? The boy who was hiding behind the tallest racks of clothing so that he was almost invisible back there, in a forgotten corner of the store? Well that boy would be Umiko of course! Wearing old scuffed up sneakers that were black and bright blue and a pair of bright blue knee high socks, such odd foot wear and so obviously old and well loved. Loose fitting black cargo pants covered his slim waist, the bottoms had been rolled up quite a bit so that he didn't walk on them and they revealed that he was wearing knee high socks. A large loose fitting long sleeve bright blue top cover his upper half, the sleeves went past his fingertips and the hem ended a few inches above his knees, it slipped to one side almost exposing his shoulder but not quite. A large black scarf was wrapped loosely around his neck and ended just before his shirt did on his body and covered up any skin the loose shirt revealed. A black floppity hat covered his odd dark blue hair and a pair of oval shaped black tinted sunglasses covered his eyes...the boy looked like he was hiding.
He was hiding because he was out in public and he didn't want to be out in public, it was dangerous here but-but Satsuki asked him to so he did. Umeko tried really really hard to do what Satsuki asked him to do. Especially now that his big brother was...he was...Umeko sniffed and rubbed at his eyes furiously, he had promised himself that he wouldn't cry but he couldn't help it! Satsuki was gonna leave them, Umeko would be alone with his parents and his little sister and he was scared. He was really really scared, he didn't want Satsuki to find out how scared he was of being abandoned, though. So he covered up his eyes which were a little bit puffy from trying not to cry and he cover up the rest of him because he didn't like leaving his house...he didn't even like leaving his room. It wasn't safe outside but Umeko didn't know when he'd get another chance to see Satsuki ever again. Umeko knew Satsuki was worried but he couldn't talk to him or else he would be even more worried.
He hated it.
Umeko hated it.
Umeko hated it outside and he hated feeling scared and sad all the time but he couldn't help it, he put on as brave a face as possible around Satsuki but when Satsuki was gone then Umeko would only have Minako and he wasn't sure if he was strong enough to protect her and take care of her...especially since he wasn't strong enough to even protect or take care of himself. Umeko hated being so weak and pathetic.
So Umeko had parted form his siblings for a little bit since he didn't want Satsuki to to waste money on trying to get him clothes, Satsuki needed to save up for living on his own after all. He hummed to himself and remained hiding, he knew he'd hear Minako's voice soon calling him to his siblings again. He loved his sister so much, she meant the world to him just like his brother...well not exactly like his brother but very very close to it. His name had even been important enough to be one of her first words, Satsuki's name and his name meant that much to her. She made him feel like he really was loved and wanted so did Satsuki but being one of his younger sister's first words made Umeko feel all warm and happy inside. He wondered if Satsuki's name had been his first word too, he never asked but he always wondered. Umeko was sure it was because no one was more important to him than Satsuki.
He heard Minako and then he saw her, he was short but even he could see Minako on top of his brother's shoulders. He always looked p to Satsuki's height and how Minako and he both had those pretty deep blue eyes unlike his weird gold ones which were a recessive trait in their family. Umeko smiled a small timid smile from beneath his scarf and quickly made his way to his two siblings. He felt happy when he was near them and only when he was near them, he would even leave the house for them.
"M-Mina-chan...Onii-chan!" His voice was soft but he quickly reached the two and quickly hid behind his elder brother, he felt safest when he was hiding near his brother like this. Umeko wasn't very talkative or cheerful or energetic but he was obviously happy and he obviously cared deeply for both his siblings even if he was a hikikomori who stayed in the house house hiding more than anything else.

Aetas.
Absolutely.
Hated.
Crosswalks.
The Rabbit was like a dog straining on a leash. It looked like every muscle in his body was tensed, ready to rush across the street in a second, and it was only a slim thread of self-control that kept him from bolting across the street. He was standing here, watching the seconds drain away, and every moment that passed was one moment closer to being late. Aetas didn’t want to be late. If he was late, it would throw everything off, and his whole schedule would go to ruin. The people on the sidewalk had even given Aetas nearly half a foot of berth, which was impressive on a crowded Japanese corner. He was still tapping his staff against the ground, and if his gaze had any force behind it at all, it would have turned the glowing red ‘don’t walk’ sign into a smoldering mess of plastic and lights. But at the same time as he was tapping the staff, he was gripping the crimson knob at the top as though it was the only thing keeping him from rushing foreward. If only there weren’t these bloody cars all the time. Then he could ---what was the term they’d used in Ingland--- jaywalk and get across the street. And he wouldn’t be late. But he was standing here and he couldn’t cross because of all the bloody cars and he was going to be laaaaaate----!
Almost as though the sign could hear his frantic thoughts, the light changed, and off Aetas went, booking it across the street just short of a run. He’d perfected walking at near-supersonic speeds long ago, because there were some places that it was simply unacceptable to run in where speed was necessary. As soon as his feet hit the opposite sidewalk, he had his pocketwatch out and was looking at it, cursing quietly under his breath as he saw the time. His estimate of five minutes was now down to three and a half, which still might have seemed like plenty of time, except it wasn’t. That wasn’t nearly enough time and Aetas was absolutely running late and this was not good.
The only reason Aetas didn’t enter the clothing shop at a complete run was because he had to pause to let the doors swoosh open. The first time he was here and saw these amazing doors, he’d marveled at the magic that made doors open all by themselves. Now it was just a hinderence, because they didn’t sense an approaching person who needed the doors to be open a minute ago, but instead they waited to open when the person who was in quite a hurry had slowed to a near stop in front of them. Any magic that took that long to work wasn’t effective magic at all. Aetas danced from foot to foot in front of the door, darting inside as soon as there was enough of a gap for him to fit. The young woman at the front didn’t even have a chance to say a greeting before Aetas was rushing past her, towards the back and the mirror he’d entered through. Technically, any full-length mirror that was large enough to pass through was good enough to get back to Wonderland. But Aetas liked the continuity of coming and going through the same mirror. He could have gone through a hole in the ground ---not necessarily a rabbit hole, just any hole--- but the feeling of falling for ages made him feel queasy. With the mirrors, it was like stepping through a doorway.
Aetas was halfway across the room when he slammed into someone.
Two someones, actually.
It was possible that Aetas was moving so quickly that he didn’t even see the people in his way until he was on top of them and couldn’t stop in time. A more likely explanation was that he was looking at his pocketwatch and didn’t have eyes on the path in front of him. With a clatter and a breath of escaped air, the three people went flying ---Aetas, a blue-haired young man, and a little girl being held by the blue-haired male. The second blue-haired boy ---younger, but obviously related--- was untouched by the fall, and the little girl seemed mostly fine in her…relative's? arms.
A soft groan sounded as Aetas pushed himself up. His hat and glasses had flown off in the scuffle, and it was only because his pocketwatch was attatched to his clothes with the chain that kept his watch from flying away and breaking. He would have broken down crying, right there, if he had broken his watch. Pushing himself to his knees, Aetas blinked, looking down at the people he’d knocked over. ”Sorry,” he said, knowing that none of them except the young girl would probably understand him. No one had magic anymore. ”I’m really sorry…”
Halfway through the apology, he looked at his pocketwatch.
Three seconds later, a strangled, intensely distressed sound wrenched itself from his throat, and he jerked himself to his feet. Without another word or even a glance towards the people he’d felled, he grabbed his hat, not bothering to put it on his head. In the same move, he scooped his glasses up, dropping them into the hat and bolting for the large floor-to-ceiling mirrors lining the back wall of the store. As he ran, he waved his staff and muttered under his breath. The scene in the mirror shifted from a reflection of the clothing store to a scene of forest. No one else in the store even blinked at the shift, but that was because there wasn’t any magic left and no one else could see it.
With the slightest ripple of the glass, Aetas burst through the glass, and there was a moment where Aetas was in neither the clothing store nor the mysterious forest in the reflection. A second later his image appeared in the forest, racing down the dirt track through the woods. Still not wearing his hat with the ears, and racing as though the hounds of hell were nipping at his heels. In the mirror in the clothing store, the edges of the mirror were already rippling back to the plain glass of a regular mirror, now that Aetas and his staff weren’t in the immediate vicinity. But for someone who could see it, for someone who still had a touch of magic within them, they had perhaps a full minute before the pathway closed and the mirror returned to normal. For someone with magic…
But there wasn’t any magic left in this world.
Absolutely.
Hated.
Satsuki says: " There is no time for dreaming because I have things to do. I must make any possible dreams a reality... If only I didn't have to grow up and become an adult so fast... "
╚══════════════════╝

"Cho-chan." Minako cooed, clapping and pointing which caused Satsuki to look in the direction she was pointing and he smiled at the sight of his younger brother. Hearing the other call his and Minako's name made the elder of the three smile slightly. He was happy to see his brother. Even though he had seen him already, he couldn't help but warm at the sight of his younger brother. He loved his siblings more than anyone could understand. That was why he was taking them to live with him. Not because he felt he had to--though that was part of it--but because he loved them enough that he would gladly put their needs before his own. He didn't need space or a social life. He simply needed to make sure that his siblings were safe and sound. That was all that mattered. Right? Yes, that was right. When his brother reached them, he inwardly frowned at the way the other immediately hid behind him. It wasn't that he didn't like being needed by his brother but he wished that his brother wasn't so afraid to let himself be seen. This was something he hoped being away from his parents would eliminate...
"Cho-chan, you left us. I picked some clothes for us. I'm sure you'll like them."
Satsuki didn't expect his brother to protest too greatly so he didn't wait for a response. No, he had been in the midst of turning around and heading for the counter, but something got in his way and he felt himself falling. Luckily, he had managed to maneuver Minako so she wouldn't get hurt. Instead she ended up on his lap and he found himself looking up at his brother who was luckily still on his feet. It was a good thing too. Though he wasn't big, Satsuki was bigger than Umeko and he would have hated to land on his brother. Not paying any mind to the person who ran into them, he immediately sat up and checked Minako for any injuries. His ears picked up someone speaking but before he got the chance to focus on the individual, they were up and moving. His eyes caught the bottom of the cane and he managed to not lose sight of the person. Who had...bunny ears? Was it a day for dressing up?
"Bunny! Bunny! See? Bunny!" Minako was tickled by the appearance of the young man and she waved before rising up from Satsuki's lap and chasing after the creature. "Yay, bunny... Hehehe..."
Normally, it would have been a matter of seconds before Minako was safely tucked in Satsuki's arms but something was causing him to remain frozen. Something strange and illogical. The man with bunny ears was walking through the mirror. He was in the mirror and then he was in a forest that was in the mirror and it didn't make any sense and that made Satsuki blink rapidly. Had he hit his head when he had been knocked over? No, he hadn't really allowed his head to make contact with the floor, so what was it? Perhaps he was tired and mental exhausted. That was the only thing it could be. At least, it was only that before he noticed Minako going into the mirror too. Before anyone could blink, he was up and had suddenly become like a trackstare, rushing towards the mirror. No one was giving him a second glance and he wouldn't have cared if they had. His little sister need him!
"Minako!" Before he had managed to grab her, she had entered the mirror and it was a moment before she appeared in the forest, still chasing after the man with bunny ears. Without a second thought, Satsuki threw himself into the mirror and half expected it to shatter but when it didn't and he found himself in a forest, he knew something was beyond wrong. Turning around, he noticed that he was looking at the clothing store and he numbly motioned for Umeko to follow him. His head was beginning to feel fuzzy and he wasn't sure why but it almost felt right. How could it feel right to be apart of something illogical? It had to be a dream... He was dreaming, wasn't he?
"Buuunnny..." Minako's voice had grown distant and when Satsuki turned around, he realized that he could barely see her small form. She was getting away and he had to go and get her even if it was a dream. He would not fail his little sister. Not even in a dream. There was no way!

Umeko, Fujioka.
The Alice boy. ((Younger Brother.))
The Alice boy. ((Younger Brother.))
“Nothing makes us so lonely as our secrets.”
"Mina-chan, hello." Umeko smiled softly at his little sister and felt slightly amused by her cooing and clapping like that. Plus Satsuki was smiling at him too which made Umeko immediately feel much safer and happier, Satsuki's smiles normally had that affect on him because when his older brother smiled it meant everything was okay. Umeko was used to being only around his older brother and his younger sister so it really was no surprise that he trusted and loved them the most out of anyone, one could even correctly claim that they were the only people Umeko loved or trusted. Which was why he didn't say anything to his brother when the other said he was going away, Umeko had assumed and still thought that Satsuki was leaving them forever and ever to go live far away. Umeko was too scared to ask his brother about it and cared to much to ever voice his fears. He just hid behind his brother like normal, it always felt the safest whenever he was hidden behind Satsuki. Probably because even though both of them weren't very large, he was still taller than him and had always been taller than him which made him feel comforted somehow.
"Onii-chan...I don't need any clothes, I haves lots and lots already...surely I don't need any clothes b-but thank you so much."
Of course Umeko would never argue but he did protest meekly but not for long because...well he was suddenly shocked by a male wearing a hat with bunny ears attacking his brother by running into him. Umeko had only avoided being in the crash because he was behind Satsuki and Satsuki had fallen at a slight angle. Umeko sighed in relief when he saw that Minako was alright too, she was so tiny and young that even little falls could seriously hurt her and the last thing that Umeko would ever want would be to see his dear younger sister crying for any reason at all. Yet the man with the bunny years hadn't seemed to mean it when he had hit his older brother and he was apologizing. So Umeko stood slightly behind his siblings and stared at the bunny man as he spoke. The bunny man was apologizing an awful lot so Umeko assumed that he must have been sorry, s-so this time Umeko wouldn't be too upset because he was sure that the other male was sorry.
"Onii-chan that boy is a bunny..." Umeko looked at his big brother with wide confused eyes as he spoke, Minako was right the male that had been in front of them was totally a bunny. Then Minako stood up to follow the bunny and Umeko reached out for her nervously.
He followed his older brother and his little sister to the mirror, he knew his little sister liked animals of all types but running after a strange bunny man was dangerous. Then Umeko saw something that really shocked him and made him scared, the-the bunny man went through the mirror! Then his little sister went through the mirror too! Now Umeko was a rational person, he knew what the world was like and he knew what was possible and what was impossible. People especially his little sister and a bunny man could not go through a mirror. This was because mirrors were solid and not liquid or air. Umeko stared in shock at the mirror and then his eyes widened even more when his older brother also followed the two beyond the mirror. Umeko in his fear of being left behind ran up to the mirror and looked into it and on towards the other side. There was a forest! W-what was he supposed to do? How would he save his siblings?
"Onii-chan...Mina-chan...?" Umeko lightly touched the mirror and gasped when his fingers pushed through, b-but he was scared. If he went through and followed his siblings then bad things would happen. He was sure of it, he rarely went out of his room anymore and if-if he went any farther than that like in these woods he was sure something awful would happen. Something terrible and awful and horrible and wrong would happen. Then Satsuki did something...he motioned for Umeko to come with him and Umeko looked around nervously before pushing himself through the mirror just as the image was fading. By the time he got inside the forest the mirror had disappeared completely, they were trapped...where ever they were.
"Onii-chan, where are we?" Umeko could see they were in a woods of some type but the forest was very very dense and it seemed kind of scary. He moved closer to his brother and looked for his sister. Had Minako separated from them? What were they gonna do if she got lost?

”Please, would you tell me why your cat grins like that?”
“It’s a Cheshire-Cat, and that’s why.”
“I didn’t know that Cheshire-Cats always grinned; in fact, I didn’t know that cats could grin.”
“They all can, and most of ‘em do.”

Ix was doing the same thing he did every day. He was sunning in a tree branch, happily dozing off in between wandering the Woods and searching for Alice. His family all told him that it was silly to keep hoping for Alice. And, according to them, what guarantee was there that Alice would come through the Mirrored Trees in the Woods, anyway? She might come through one of the many mirrors in the Duchy, or Heartsland, or Chessland. Heck, she might even come down another rabbit hole somewhere else in Wonderland. But Ix kept firm in his belief that Alice would come through to Wonderland in the Woods. The Woods were where the first Alice ---reportedly--- came through, so she would come through here again. Rather, her descendants would. It was instinct and memory. In the bones, see? His family all thought he was bonkers, but that was fine. Just wait until Alice came through and he would prove them all wrong.
So there he was, stretched out on a delightfully sunny branch, napping away as he lounged. For once, he hadn’t covered his Cheshire heritage. His tail was lazily hanging off the branch, twitching every now and then, and his headscarf was draped across another branch, leaving his ears free to flick in the breeze and pick up any wandering sounds. And wandering sounds he heard, indeed. Birds swimming and fish flying and people screaming and shouting…ah, just another day in Wonderland.
Then he heard a sound that wasn’t too unusual, but was always interesting to see. The sound of hurried, rushing feet and frantic muttering, indicating the Rabbit had returned. In spite of the lull of the sunny branch, Ix cracked one storm grey eye open, looking down the path. Sure enough, there can a rushing figure in black formal carrying a staff. Interestingly enough, the Rabbit’s hat was in his hands instead of on his head, showing just the plain brown of his hair. Everyone knew Aetas Kanin didn’t have real rabbit ears, but it wasn’t the sort of thing brought up in polite conversation. Up in his branch, Ix snickered to himself. ”So the Queen’s lacky has lost his ears. Interesting.”
Usually, if the Rabbit was rushing through the Woods and Ix saw him, he would jump down and stand in the Rabbit’s way, just to delay him an extra few seconds and see him freak out. Normally, Ix didn’t like teasing people, but Aetas was just so wound up all the time that it was funny. But right now, he was too sundrenched and too lazy to bother. The Cheshire watched the Rabbit rush by, smirking to himself at the frantic pace the Rabbit was moving, then settled back down on his branch once the Rabbit had passed. How interesting. Ix had never seen Aetas that frantic. And he'd certainly never seen the Rabbit without his hat firmly placed on his head. He must really be running late.
The Rabbit had passed and Ix had closed his eyes for just a moment when another voice was picked up by his ears. The Cheshire sighed, opening his eyes again, and wished this path was less trodden. He’d spent most of the day in peaceful nappage, and then not one, but two people come running down the path. How annoying. Knowing he wasn’t going to nap any time soon ---at least, not until all the interruptions were past--- the Cat shifted, propping his chin up on his hand and watching the path. One delicate eyebrow raised in question when a little girl, no more than three or four, came trotting down the path, calling after a ‘bunny’.
Ix supposed she meant the Rabbit, and snickered lightly at the thought. He wondered how mortified Aetas would be if he was called a ‘bunny’. Probably a lot. But the Woods weren’t a safe place for a little girl to wander around in, so he pushed himself up and grabbed his headcarf, wrapping it around his ears. Then he disappeared from the branch. Almost the same moment, he reappeared, leaning against a tree just in front of the little girl. When the girl stopped, startled, he padded over, crouching in front of her. ”So first the Rabbt loses his ears, and now he’s beng followed by a little girl. How curious.” The Cat tilted his head, studying her. Then he shrugged, sighing. ”Come on, girlie. The Woods aren’t safe for people on their own.” Gently, he reached down, picking her up and tucking her against his chest. Then he started walking down the path ---actually walking, not blinkng in and out. He never had tried to disappear with someone else in tow, and he didn’t really want to test it out now.
He’d gone perhaps three steps down the path when it occured to him that this particular path in question led right to the Mirrored Trees. Eyes widening, Ix looked down at the little girl in his arms. ”No way…could it be…?” Yes, the Mirrored Trees were an interesting piece of botany, but there was really no reason for anyone from Wonderland to see the Trees themselves, except the Rabbit. After all, no one but the Rabbit could make the magic work. But if this girl came from the Trees…then…could it be?
She didn’t look like Alice. She was much too young. And the rumors had been very specific about being two young men. Then again, rumors had a way of changing as they were spread. Ix had also heard variations on the rumors that said Alice would be everything from an old crone to a balding man to a llama, so it was entirely possible that Alice was actually a little girl and the rumors had been mistaken. It wouldn’t be the first time. And maybe she wasn’t Alice at all. Ix bit down on his growing enthusiasm, because it would do no good to get too excited before he knew there was any cause. But oh, wouldn’t it be amazing if Alice were here? And the first person Alice met in Wonderland was Ix!
In no time at all, Ix and the girl had traversed the path and were at the Mirrored Trees. He’d always been fascinated by the Trees, and had spent much time here waiting for Alice, but the only one he’d ever seen going through the mirrors was the Rabbit. But there, standing amongst the trees, were two males with the same blue hair as the little girl in his arms. Watching them, Ix set the girl down, watching her run over to the two men ---brothers, he supposed. They weren't from the Woods, because Ix knew most of the people in the Woods. They might be from another part of Wonderland, but then again...He grinned, that familiar, Cheshire grin that lit his face up and made him look more than a little insane. He blinked from the edge of the Trees to right in front of the taller male, eyeing him up and down. ”Are you Alice?” he asked, exctement creeping into his words despite himself. ”You're not from the Woods.” He pursed his lips, walking in a circle around the two men. "Did you come from Beyond the Mirrors? Because I'm going to be very disappointed if you're from another part of Wonderland." If they were Alice…if this was really the fulfillment of the rumors…that would be beyond awesome. Ix wouldn’t even have the words.
And if they were just travelers from another part of Wonderland, Ix would be crushed and would mope for a week.
So there he was, stretched out on a delightfully sunny branch, napping away as he lounged. For once, he hadn’t covered his Cheshire heritage.

"If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?" --Alice

╚══════════════════╝

As soon as Umeko had come through, the image of the clothing store faded away and Satsuki was beginning to question his thoughts about everything being a dream. It had all the doings of a dream, but his imagination could not be that good if that made any sense. He had an okay imagination, but it wasn't spectacular by any means. Taking a deep breath, he looked down the path his little sister disappeared down and he turned back to Umeko. He wasn't sure what to say or do. The only thing that made sense was they needed to rescue Minako, but he was feeling a bit awkward about the whole situation and he wanted to ask his brother to pinch him. But he was afraid to ask his brother to do that because if Umeko pinched him and nothing changed, then that would mean everything that just happened was real and that made no sense.
"I'm not...not quite sure where we are, Umeko." His mind was a bit disconnected from his sentence as he tried to figure out where they were. Nothing looked familiar. Not to mention, things felt right but strange. Why couldn't he explain it? For some reason, it felt like he knew what this place was but how would he know what the place was if it wasn't real or didn't make sense. Okay, not his head was beginning to hurt from all the thoughts that were running through it and none of them would slow down or connect. Sighing from frustration, he decided to concentrate on the task at hand. Finding Minako. Alright, she went that way...
Satsuki grabbed Umeko's hand with the intent of leading the other along but those plans changed when he saw Minako. But the strangest part was who was with Minako. He didn't concentrate for too long since he had bent down to pick her up and was currently holding her tightly. He was grateful to whoever the strange person was. Very grateful. But he couldn't help but grow nervous when he noticed the Chesire Cat like grin on the other's face as he suddenly appeared in front of him. That was the way his grandmother would have described the grin and that was why it popped into his head. Gulping nervously, he backed up closer to Umeko, feeling like he was about to be devoured. When the other began circling them, he eventually let the words process in his head. The male had said the words that had ran across his mind earlier.
Wonderland.
Now, normally, Satsuki would write it off as a coincidence but that wasn't a story that was told all around the world or anything. No, it was one that was passed through the family and it would have stopped at his grandmother but he had gone to live with her for a short period of time so she told him the stories and he told it to his brother and sister. But that had been a long time ago...
"W-Who are you?" Instead of answering the question, Satsuki countered with one of his own. He didn't like the way they were being watched and it was beginning to make him sweat slightly. "...how do you know about Wonderland?" He hadn't meant to let that question slip, but it had so there was nothing he could but wait to see what the other said. He was still rather afraid about the entire situation but he had to be brave for Umeko and Minako.
"Kittty!"
Satsuki then noticed the tail that the other male was sporting and he felt his body break out into a cold sweat that was accompanied by chills. That was strange. Very strange. What else could happen? Was it a dream or not? He didn't know if he wanted to find out anymore.

╚══════════════════╝
Tori was bored. There were no other words to describe the way that he could feel that particular morning. In fact, he had been bored for days at that point and it was simply unacceptable. His personal advisor Aetas Kanin was out looking for the Alices so he wasn't there to keep the Red Queen amused. No one else was half as amusing as Aetas could be so Tori didn't bother calling forth anyone. Sure, a few jesters had tried to keep him entertained but it only resulted in them losing their heads. What? They hadn't been entertaining in the least. Tori had to sit through five seconds of horrible performances. At least with Aetas, he could say jump and the other would do it--but it was always much more entertaining than regular jumping. Probably because the other was rather uptight about thing, especially time. It was amusing to see how far he could push the other before it resulted in some type of breakdown. Always funny. Some people thought laughing in the expense of other people was cruel, but he didn't find it to be so cruel. As long as no one was laughing at him. If they did, it was off with their heads and then who would be laughing? Why, he would, of course.
"How dull and dreadful this day is turning out to be."
"But it has only just begun."
Tori glanced over at the figure sitting to left and he frowned slightly at the words. His wife Starlight had been strangely talkative since Aetas had left and he could only wonder why. At the moment, they were seated in the newly built throne room and had been listening to the problem of the people of Heartsland. Well, Tori halfway listened. He only interjected when he thought that Starlight was being too kind or too lenient. It frustrated and irritated him when the woman let people off easy. So far, as the morning drew on, there had been about seven different problems that had to be addressed. None of them interested Tori but he was always looking for a reason to behead someone.
"Perhaps the Red Queen would like to retire for the morning." Starlight murmured, smiling and caressing Tori's hand. Inwardly, he glared, but his outside appearance showed pleasure and happiness. He honestly couldn't stand being around Starlight most days. She was fickle. Everyone always accused him of being the fickle, unkind one--never to his face but he heard the whispers--but it was really Starlight who was fickle and unkind. The one changed moods like she changed her clothes. It made no sense. One minute she would be in agreement with him on a choice he had made and the next minute she would be rebuking his very name. It got old. He suspected that this was her new plan to go home. For someone who was suppose to be a grown woman, she played many games and it was annoying. Sure, she was three years younger than him, but he knew she had the maturity that would accompany a woman of age and grace. She simply refused to use it when it came to him. Stupid woman...
"Perhaps the Red King would like to be quiet for a few minutes so the Queen can clear his head." Tori replied, rubbing his thumb over his wife's knuckles, and smirking as he felt her hand clench. Ah, he did love to upset her as long as it was in public. Because in public, she remained the perfect image of royalty with her grace and charm. But as soon as they were alone, which wasn't often anymore, she turned into this hellion that was ready to tear into him like he was the last piece of meat at the dinner table. "No, no, no, play nice, love." He reminded her, feeling her nails dig into his palm. He had to admit, when his wife was angry, she was rather desirable. Having been his one and only, he thought her to be soft which wasn't bad but it wasn't satisfactory in a way. He couldn't explain it. He felt like he had to be extra careful with her. She was fragile, at least, that was what he believed.
"Let me go home." Starlight begged softly, not looking at Tori but at the family that had entered the throne room. She sighed sadly when he released her hand and crossed his arms, glaring down at the family. It never ceased to sadden her when he refused her plea. He knew that, but he didn't care. Her leaving now would not benefit him and as much as he disliked her, there were times he enjoyed her company and until he was entirely bored with her and got what he wanted, then she would be at the palace with him. There was no discussion.
"Your Grace..."
Then begun the pleas for extra time on something that was due by the end of the week and there were many days left until then, but the father was insistent on more time. Starlight granted the request, but Tori motioned towards his guards to grab the eldest son. When the moves were made, the father grew desperate in his begging and pleading and with a great amount of pleading, Tori decided to let the son live. The extension was only extended for two days, but that was better than another week and a dead son.
"You're cold."
"Hm...? Oh, no, I think the temperature is just right. Thank you for the concern." The somewhat sadistic smile that spread across Tori's face hinted to Starlight that the man knew what she had meant so she said no more.
"Master! I have news!" Tori's hand went up as the guards cut off the messenger's path with their long handled axes. Starlight sat up higher in her seat as she gazed at the messenger with curious eyes. The words that poured from the messenger's mouth caused an excited gleam to sparkle in Tori's eyes. Now the fun would begin. Come, Alice, come ever so quickly.
[hope that was okay.]
