Giving a snarl, he roamed his domain... the castle that held him captive all these years.
He gathered his cape around him, he stared out the window.
Would anyone ever love him?
He stared out at the window... green eyes blurring with unshed tears.
Arthur Kirkland had been cursed for so many years with no way to change himself back... without love... he'd be lost to himself.
Not that he had anyone to begin with.

Pushing his collar up against the rain, Francis trudged along. He was soaking to his bones... This trip to visit his brother may be too much for him... But wait... Just out of the treeline, was that really? He rubbed his eyes, staring at the castle in disbelief. It was there! A real, real castle!! But that was no where on the map... But he ignored that, rushing forward, breath coming out in little puffs of fog. It was so freezing... The thought fo shelter encouraged him, so he pushed his frozen feet faster and faster until he managed to push open the huge wooden door. He stumbled in the castle, catching himself before he hit the ground. Mon Dieu... It was so much better in here... "H-hello?" he called, pulling his soaked jacket tighter around him. "Is anyone here?"

Arthur's pointed ears perked as he heard someone in his castle.
A snarl crossed his wolf-like muzzle as he wiped his eyes and hauled himself forward.
No one was to enter his castle! NO ONE!
He was a beast! A monster...
If someone saw him like this, he'd be in trouble.
He growled as he crawled on all fours to see who was trespassing in his castle.

Francis gazed around the castle. It was empty, and dark... He didn't see a soul... The Frenchman shivered against the fear and hypothermia that was surely setting in. It looked abandoned. Well, maybe there was something he could burn for warmth... He began to wander around, keeping his eyes peeled for someone, anyone that could help. "Is anyone here!?" he shouted, hearing his voice echo.

His lips pulled back in a sneer, as he watched him.
"What are you doing here?" he growled, keeping himself hidden in the shadows.
He didn't want to reveal himself and his hideous appearances.
The Beast pulled his hood over his head, keeping low to the ground.

Francis jumped at the sound, whirling around and staring, terrified, to the shadows. "I-i was just traveling, and l-looking for a place to stay the night." he stuttered, backing away slightly. "Um... P-please... I'll pay whatever you want, and I won't cause any sort of trouble... Please...' He hated the way his voice sounded; as if he was begging... Well, he kind of was. There was no way he could spend the night out there.
