Over the next week, a plan was finally coming along. Eliza found herself getting a chance to be around Luce's group. After the first day she met them, she wandered down to the main gate, hoping that they would let her walk back with them on their way to the manor.

Mimi, a girl who had grown up with a distrust toward werewolves was finding that Eliza seemed different and that she was enjoying her company.

"How close do you think you are to getting a plan all finalized?" Eliza asked softly knowing that once it was finished, she would never see them again.

"I'd say we still have another week of planning, and a while still after that for the actual execution, we can't afford to be sloppy"Luce said, looking over at her as they walked.

"Of course, that makes sense," Eliza said, she looked up at the manor as they got closer.

"Are you sure it's okay to let her get so close to those kids?" Katherine asked, stepping back from the window and looking back at Hektor.

"I don't see why not, they both seem to know that once this partnership is over, they'll be going their separate ways"Hektor said, watching them with a particular disinterest.

That night, the talks went longer than normal and Mark lifted a sleeping Mimi onto his back. "We're going to go on ahead," he said, motioning to Jasper and Peter. "We'll meet you back at camp." He looked to Francis. "Want to come with? I'm sure Luce doesn't need to a chaperone."

"yeah, I'm coming too, I don't think Luce is going to be much longer anyways"Francis said, with a sleepy stare.

|yeah, I'll be along shortly guys, sorry about this taking so much longer than usual"Luce said, looking back at the group.

An hour later, Katherine finally stood up. "Okay, I think that's enough for tonight," she said. "We'll see you again tomorrow," she continued as she walked him from the room.

Across the hall, Eliza walked out of the kitchen, heading back toward her room after a midnight snack. She looked up when she realized someone else was there. "Luce? What are you still doing here?" she asked him.

"the meeting ran rather late today, what are you still doing up, I thought you would have been asleep a couple hours ago"
