Welcome to Gaia! ::

They watched Shahi eat for a moment. Both sending signaled glances to eachother. Almost telepathic like. Discussing how to ask the question that had been nagging them. What was this boys life in danger? and as selfish as it seemed to them were those same people after him following him here? They both followed Shahis example soon after. Picking up bits of food, followed by a Bismillah and started to eat. Buthayna took a bite into a peice of fruit and Jihadi started on his meat. She looked up and looked at jihadi then at shahi with a face that clearly said "Talk to him!" Jihadi looked at her his brows furrowed then rolled his eyes. "So Shahi... why not tell us a bit about yourself? and in fairness well do the same."

Rishid stood up after the elder had. Oh he'd relax and he'd do it well. Then a thought came to mind. "It's your tribe putting on a show soon?"

Shahi was clueless to their facial signals to each other as he ate. As he was eating he was realizing how hungry he was and began to eat faster, making small grunting noises as he chewed to the point that when Jihadi spoke to him, his mouth was completely full and he couldn't get a proper response out. "Mmf? Mhmm..!" He placed his hand on the table and reached out, looking for a glass to drink out of.

"We'll have to if we plan to stay. I wouldn't want to impede on our host's good graces." Abu Yusuf grunted as he stood up next to Rishid. "I'll tell the others at supper time." His eyebrows came together as he looked at the young man. "..Why? What are you thinking about?" He wanted to ask him more about what happened in the past 10-something odd plus years that Rishid had been away, but he knew more important matters were at hand.
They both reached for the pitcher of water, but bunny pulled her hand back. Her brother reaching it first and poured Shahi a glass of water, then placed it in the others hands. "Why dont we explain about ourselved first. After all Shahi, you must be more confused then we are. Considering were not the ones away from our home." She smiled and nibbled at her fruit again.
Jihadi patted shahi on his back a little.

Rishid was surprised the elder had not asked any of the questions yet that he assumed he would ask. good it would give him time to come up with a better answer then the full blown truth. He looked down at Abu Yusuf. "I would like you to withold what we have talked about here until after. I would like to watch and deside who would be most fit for traveling with me. With you permission to take that person along of course. I'll have a better chanse of having the supplies last if someone is with me to help ensure their protection. Plus if they dont know they will act normally on the stage and I will be able to see who truly puts their effort forth without this perticular knowledge." The desert was crazy with animals that hid in the sand and rocks, as well as bandits who enjoyed stealing things. Bringing someone along would help him be able to protect the stuff more efficently.

Zaid Ibn Balor , 19 yrs of age , rode his horse through the desert from the less dry north to the absolutely blazing heat of the middlelands. Zaid was an average, 19 ry old male who is searching for a certain someone as beeshed by his step-father. As the sun beamed high in the sky , he knew it was time for dhuhr and couldn't wait for it because he really loved Allah. He got of his horse and stood behind a sand dune to offer the adthan . Yet, in the back of his mind, there was another entity."Hey,Zaid , why dont you wait just a little longer ? Its s-o-o-o-o-oooooo hot out here." said the entity. "Shush , Idris," replied Zaid after he finished calling the adthan.,"Why do you always bother me when I'm about to pray?" "Ugh, pray but prayer is soooo boring," Idris whined. Idris was the split persona of Zaid , and of course this persona of his was not the best company for his companion. Zaid made wuhdu with the water in his pouch as he learned to do from a man named Fein. "Look, Idris,Ill make a deal because I'm a little tired right now so after asr you can have this body until Maghrib okay." Zaid sighed with little enthusiasm . "Idris replied." Really? So i didn't have to force my way through this time huh , you b*****d . Fine, make your little prayer to your god and ill be waiting ." Zaid made his prayer and decided to , as he promised head to sleep. " Before he shut his eyes he said," Idris , please be on your best behavior." "Shut up , you dirty pig and sleep ." "Salaams , Idris" "Curse you, Zaid" Idris had finally awoken and returned back to his horse and rode on toward a village unmarked on the scrolls he had brung with him but was told stories about by many who was said to once lived there."Of course, there should be food there and women but damn , this guy wont even let me touch a bit of what he calls haraam . I guess i will just continue this mission and see about more supplies but im sure hoping their is someones head i can cut of there."
-----------------------
Idris continued through the desert at the highest speed his animal could go. He jabbed his knees into his beast for so that it could clear more land faster . This horse was named Argo and he was Zaids' favorite animal friend. Of course , that was one of the reasons he treated the horse so harshly. When he finally arrived at the village, he parked the horse and tied it up at a post. "Stay there, you mangy beast." He coldy told the horse. The horse neighed in response as if to curse him. Idris looked around the village and noticed there was no one around. "I see why no one lives here anymore , this place is a dump," he told himself. He began to walk towards the biggest yet run down tent available. He made his way inside and found some used clothes and some pots filled to the brim with water."Yes, this is what i needed," as he eagerly began gulping down the water , letting the excess fall down on his face unto the floor. He laid onto the old clothes and told himself," Well , I guess threes noone to kill in this village so unto the next one , well of course after my nap." As he drifted off to sleep a shadow peered unto its tent with a look of hatred upon its face.
An hour later at the time of asr, Zaid woke up. He tried to stretch his arms and realized they were bounded by rope. He turned and looked around but could only tell that he was inside at tent. He knew that Idris disobeyed him and got them into trouble again. He sighed and a tall man walked into the tent. "Who are you and what are you doing here?" , the man growled at his captive. The sun peered from the tents opening into the eyes of Zaid so he couldn't see the mans face. He replied," I am Zaid, a traveling swordsman." Though this was partially true , He did not want the name of Balor to ruin his moment here as his quest was important . "Zaid, huh? I knew a Zaid once , Zaid of the three deserts they used to call him. He used to destroy everything he touched and i had to figure that out the hard way. The man moved closer to Zaids face revealing his face in which most of his skin around his left cheek was missing which showed his yellow teeth inside . Zaid cringed at the sight but tried not to waver. "He looked into the mans eyes and spoke, " Well i have no relations to this Zaid of the three deserts. Now can you please untie me?" " The man chuckled as he heard this request," You drink my water and lay on my bed(referring to the pile of old clothes) and you want me to let you go?" "Idris," Zaid thought in anger."Ill be gladly to make it up to you , sir if you let me live ," he told the man.
"hmm, "the man said,"Well i may let you live if you go to the end of the village and fill my pots back up to the brim with water." "Well, Of course I can do that for you !," he exclaimed happy to be able to get out of his predicament. "And," the man continued on,"your clothes , your swords and your horse," he smiled slyly. Zaid thought about it and decided to go along with it but of course nothing was to say what Idris would do in this situation. Just as long it got him out of those ropes, he thought. He agreed and the man untied him , of course with a sword at his back telling him to go to the well bare footed and unarmed while he waited till he came back. Zaid made his way to the well and back and after 3 trips was kinda tired but realizing asr was almost out decided to make wudhu near the well. The man was wondering where his new found slave was and went to go look for him on their horse. He saw him praying and realized how peaceful he was for a swordsman and decided to throw sand at him while he prayed

"Shukran." Shahi took the water gratefully and gulped it down. "There isn't much to tell, really. I grew up- I was raised by a kind man, and when the northern army went through our town, my mentor sent me away in the boat." He really didn't want to get into a lot of details. "What about you?" He sipped his water again.

---

Abu Yusuf inhaled as he paused at the flap of the tent. "I will see about it. While they are well instructed in the ways of fighting, I wouldn't want to just allow someone to leave so suddenly. Just promise me one thing, Rishid- don't do anything rash out there." The sternness in his eyes meant what he said. He really didn't want to lose any of his tribe- the girls were beginning to outnumber the men, and their family was still a bit too close-knit to consider polygamy within the tribe.
((I’ll have the info up for tamarind soon.))

Tamarind came off as the silent type. He didn’t need to do much talking. After all he had people who did that for him. The sun was starting to lower out of its heat. “augh!” He rolled out of the shade into the sand. It was warm but it was something his dark skin was use to. Water would have been nice though. He had to agree to that thought. This Tamarind Shalboba who didn’t do much but tell people when and where to attack as well as share in the spoils. Yet people respected this young man who was their leader. Well the people apart of what he liked to call his family. People with the same cause usually work together. Suppose being a Bandit leader had its perks. His second in command, Hiknab, stepped over him shading the light from his eyes. “Are you going to go out and even scout for someone to steal from?” Tamarind pouted a little and rubbed his eye, careful not to get sand in his eye but all the while smearing his kohl on his eye. Hiknab rolled his eyes and reached out his hand to help his chief up. Tamarind took it. “Do I have to?” Tamarind was enjoying this abandoned town. It was like they had their own village. It was quiet as well, for the group had taken to sleeping and resting during the hottest hours of the day. Hiknab sighed and bushed the dust off his childhood friend. “Yes. Really it’s a wonder they haven’t questioned you yet in all these years.” Tamarind grinned wide. “I know how to take care of people.” Hiknab started to walk away from his friend into what probably at one point in time was the plaza.

“It’s a surprise I’ve stayed with you this long.” Tamarind followed, he towered over the other his locks coming out of their pony tail. “I’m surprised as well.” His arm wrapped around the shoulder of the other. “Habnab…” His old friends nickname from long ago. “We have accomplished so much together and lately have been slowing down our activity… my question is when are you going to get a woman to keep.” Hiknab couldn’t help but laugh at the absurdity of the question. They where bandits for goodness sakes.“The same day you never break a woman’s heart.” Tamarind took his arm off his second in command. “It’s not my fault they get attached.” Hiknab shook his head. “You lead them on, on purpose. You enjoy doing it.” Tamarind shrugged his shoulders. He couldn’t deny the cruel streak in himself when it came to women. Though he figured his friend for the type who enjoys the company of one woman and not having to share. After all Tamarind knew his friend wasn’t like him in that aspect and he wasn’t expecting him to be. They arrived at the well and that half face throwing sand at someone who was laying in the sand. “HEY!” They both quickened their step. “DESERT BUM!” Hiknab walked towards the submitted one with grin tinted hair wasn’t one of their own. Though he didn’t remember there being one. Though Tamarind was known to pick up many strays without Hiknabs knowing. Tamarind approached the other half faced one. He didn’t know how he didn’t keep from hurling after seeing that face. It was almost like the man was suppose to be dead but still lived on. “Didn’t we discuss this already?” Hiknab stopped short only a couple of feet from the swordsman. Realizing this man wasn’t hurt but praying. He became panicked and looked around franticly. Muslims where never known to travel alone.

Buthayna nibbled at her food but stared intently at her brother at Shahi’s words of northern armies. Jihadi stared intently back with their twin telepathic communication. She sighed defeated by his stubborn self. While she wanted to go read up on it now. Jihadi’s eyes told her not to leave. “Well.” Jihadi started rubbing some bread crumbs of his finger tips. “Me and my sister are twins. The only ones for almost... well forever. I’m older.” Bunny chuckled. “By a few minutes but I don’t know about mentally.” “HA! You wish lil sis. Anyways. We’ve been here all our lives. Most of us have. We pretty much do our own thing outside of whatever you guys do out there. You’re the first visitors we’ve have in… well ever that I know of. Our father is caliphate here so were like his successors, though I gave up that right and gave it to her.” He took a big bite of a egg meat wrap he had been forming while he was talking. Buthayna rolled her eyes. “How many times do we have to discuss this.” She stated under her breath as she picked up her plate and left the table annoyed.

Rishid nodded. “I fully understand your concern, but I cannot guarantee that there will not be anything that will not call for rash thinking if it will be the thing to keep us alive. I don’t plan on dying, but I also don’t plan on anyone I take with me on dying, but that is something left in that person and allah’s hands.” Rishid firmly grasped the elders shoulder trying to remember what it was like to comfort with a touch, for it had been a while since he’d had such interaction.
---------
Zaid finished his prayer up and wiped off his body from all the sand that was thrown at him he stayed at the man who was just bossing him around then to the other two men before him.
He began to feel alittle uneasy , he meant to leave soon but by the way these men had dressed it seems as though they were bandits. "Bandits", he thought to himself," Not good".He figured he had to lie his way back to his horse and leave as fast as he had came in , It wouldn't be good if Idris had awoken anytime soon. "Hello, brothers"
Idris laid dormant inside of his body. He was dreaming of the few days before he had decided to take this mission. It was the best days of his life , in which he finally had the courage to have a conversation with one of the servants for a slave trader in the northern lands. Even though, Idris was a serious and blood thirsty fool ,he never had the guts to include a woman in his life because he always got nervous. She was very beautiful. She had light brown skin , long flowing hair and teeth so white he couldn't see for days staying into them but of course having a slave-woman with all of her teeth was pretty rare these days.
