Renie pouted as he was shooed away and he sat down once again at the counter and watched him. He still felt horrible but he was being happy for the other trying to help. He looked down at the food and made a face slightly. “It’s a very big meal…” He told Liam looking at it and pulled it close and nibbled on the veggies slowly looking at the steak. “I don’t think steak was the best choose for me Liam.” He told him meekly. “I think I will just stick to the veggies and have the steak when I feel better.” He said with a soft sigh. “I am sorry.” He told him feeling bad now; he finished the veggies and then wrapped up the steak and put it away wanting to eat it but knew he would just throw up from it again. “I should go work and I don’t want to get you sick. Thank you, it means a lot that you have taken the best care you can.” He told him and he walked upstairs with the files and leaned against the wall and all the color drained from his face and he sat down in the hallway and felt sick even from the veggies knowing he shouldn’t have eaten them but he felt bad. He quickly stood up and b-lined for the bathroom.

"Right, I'm such an idiot," Liam mumbled practically face-palming himself. Automatically he'd thought that Renie was feeling good enough to eat something sturdier. Slowly he ate his own meal and as Renie left, he got to washing up dishes. However, hearing running made him feel even guiltier. There would be another meal prepared, better for Renie's stomach. A little patch of chicken soup left warm on the stove before he left to see if Renie was alright. "Hey, Renie?" he called out. "I made some chicken soup as well, you need to get something in your stomach, that might be better, even if you just sip at the broth. Should I bring some up for you? Or some yogurt?" Liam offered quietly. "Maybe I should get you some more medicine?" His worry was keeping him from getting to his own work, most clearly.

Renie came out of the bathroom his face pale and he looked up at Liam with watery eyes from throwing up and he had just brushed his teeth as well. “I am sorry.” He told him with a sigh. “I didn’t want to hurt your feelings because you cooked but it was just to strong and the smell made me sick and… I am sorry… I wasted food.” He told him looking at the floor. “Can I just have some bread and the soup?” He asked softly as he leaned in the bathroom doorway his eyes half closed and he was holding on to the files he was given. “You brought home work.” He remembered. “Why aren’t you working, no you should rest I should do it for you. I haven’t been doing my job.” He told him softly.

Liam shook his head, "Don't apologize," he insisted. "I'll bring you up some soup then." he told Renie, glancing down at the files. His own work was likely mixed in right there but it had to be put on hold for a short while longer. "Haven't been doing your job? Renie, don't be a fool. You have other assignments to take care of. You are my assistant only in the office, here you're a friend, a lover, you deserve a little care here. Go on now," he gently ushered Renie towards his room. "Lay down, get those files separated, I'll bring you the soup and some bread and then I'll be off of your hair, let you get some rest whilst I get some of my work done, alright?" Not that Liam would accept anything else. Renie had to be alright with it because Liam was always strict about his work. After all, he hadn't earned his job for nothing. That said, Liam spun around on his heels, marching back downstairs to grab a platter, get some soup in a bowl and some bread to it's side and carried it up to Renie.

Renie looked up at Liam weakly and he sighed once he was done and he obeyed and walked to his room. He crawled into his bed weakly and started to make piles of the different folder and put Liam’s in his own and Renie’s as well. He then took out his laptop and turned on the Tv as he started on his own work. He needed to get something done and work on it tomorrow. Once the food came he looked up at Liam from his laptop and smiled softly. “Thank you.” He told him as he set his laptop down and took the platter and set it on his lap. He took a chuck of the bread and dipped it into the food then ate it. “This is really good Liam.” He told him happily as he started on the soup. The soup seemed to perk him up it was light and just want he needed, after he had been stressing all day with work not getting done. He picked up Liam's files once he remembered and stopped eating. "Here, I got them in order in dates as well so it's easier for you." He told him. "Thou I could do it you know. I have nothing better to do."

Gratefully Liam took the files from Renie, offering him another smile. "Thank you but don't worry about it. We both have plenty do without the throwing the additional work back and forth." Liam smiled once more, turning to head out of the room. "I'll be in my little office room, if you need me, alright? Try to get better." With that, Liam left to get to work himself, processing through the files quick enough. His next biggest concern was to not get sick himself before his big trip. That was the last thing he needed and getting sick next week was out of the question as well. After all, he still planned to take Renie camping with himself. A little escape out to the wilderness seemed so welcome all of a sudden and since his wife hadn't been eager for it, Renie was already so much better than anything else.
