Zoey wasn't hurt that badly but Sasuke was really worried about her. Which pissed of Sakura alot. It was a little awkward when he pulled her shirt down a little. He bandaged her up and then helped her to their rooms. She really didn't need the help, but she didn't refuse it. He was acting really cute with her. And she couldn't help but blush a little. "Sasuke, I want a hug." she told him. It didn't matter what happened to her, she was just happy to have him safe. Her ears and tail came out and she tried to put them away but couldn't. Her leopard ears flickered.

Itachi got the scroll to pein and was questioned on why he brought Rei. He simple explained that this was pay back and walked away. He gave her the medical attention she needed and left he trapped in the basement. This was the one room in the house, completely resistant to jutsu and techniques. You couldn't do anything in that basement. It had seemed that the puppy had followed him all the way here so he left the puppy down in the basement with her. He had showered and followed around with the Akatsuki for a while, then made food. He ate his then brought some down to Rei.

Sasuke was suprised at what she wanted. He then realized how worried he had been and how he had acted around her. It was really showing that he really had some feelings towards her. He took in a sharp breath, as if there were shards of glass in his lungs. But he let it back out and looked towards Zoey. He swayed for a moment but ended up giving her a hug. They were alone anyways, no harm no foul. He wanted to say he was sorrry about how his brother took Rei, because usually when they took people they killed them. But he couldn;t get it out at the moment, and maybe he shouldn't. Seeing as although they had known each other a small while, Rei already had strong feelings towards Zoey, he didn't know about Zoey but maybe she did as well. So he left that be. He picked Zoey up and put her on her bed. Sitting down next to her. "Get some sleep. Its been a long day, and it will be a even longer one tomorrow." He said, he had one hand over one of her hands, not even realizing he was holding it. "Are you going to be alright?" He asked. After all the events thats had happened, he had to be sure she would be alright.

Rei woke up to the sound of whimpering and something licking her face. She opened her eyes and looked at the pup. "Alright, alright. I'm up." She said with a small laugh. SHe had forgotten where she was for a moment. She tried sitting up, but there was a sharp pain the shot up from her stomach. As always though she tried to ignore and sat up. She looked down at what she was wearing and her eyes widened. 'Akastuki cloak...' She thought. She was wearing a Akastuki cloak. She opened it up, she had no shirt but there was no need, the bandages went all over her torso. And pants.... Well she didn't have any yet. This was better the nothing though. The puppy ran to her lap, she picked him up and heldhim close and started to pet him, after she closed the cloak again. She wanted to stand up but wasn't sure she would be able to. She looked up to a noise, and her face had went to loving to a hard expression, in an instant. Itachi had brought her food, she looked away from him for a moment. But her pup jumped out of her hands when Itachi kneeled down. It growled at him as if he were going to hurt his master. But then he realized this man had been nice to him. So he ran behind Itachi and saw his long ponytail. The pup jumped and grabbed onto it. Rei couldn't keep a hard expression with that. She started laughing. Although it hurt to laugh, her arm went to her stomach with a small look of pain on her face. But once she gathered herself she still couldn't help but smiling. "He likes you." She commented. Not sure what else to say. But she sighed. "I guess I should thank you for the medical treatment... But you guys don't have any other clothes... Do you?" She asked. The pup was still trying to attack Itachi's hair, grabbing on to it. Rei still couldn't hold back a small smile.

Zoey was picked up and placed on her bed. She knew that it was going to be a very long day tomorrow. She didn't want him to leave her. She didn't know why, but she wanted to keep him close tonight. "I'll be fine. But Sasuke... can you check under my bed for monsters?" she asked him. She thought about this feeling for awhile to keep him close and all, and once she realized that she was getting to close to him she almost freaked on herself. "Leave! Leave! Leave! Leave! Get out!" she said suddenly. She wanted to keep him a friend, nothing more. "Night Sasuke! Don't bite the bed bugs! And have pleasant nightmares!" she said then quickly pulled the blanket over herself, covering her face to. As if she was hiding or something. There she pretended to be asleep. Snoring really loudly, when normally she didn't snore at all.

Sasuke looked up at her with a 'really?' kind of expression. He started at her for another moment, something was going through her mind she wasn't telling him. He rolled his eyes and pulled the covers from her face pinning her arms so she couldn't move. "What's going through your mind. Your easy to read, but it doesn't matter how good I am at readin people, anyone could tell. I mean with the sudden change of heart." He told her. He was looking straight into here eyes, his deep black eyes almost as if staring right through her. "Tell me." He said to her.

The puppy had ran around Itachi and grabbed onto his ponytail. It hurt a little but he didn't say a weird, just made a unpleasant face. Placing the food down on the ground, he reached around himself and tried to grab the puppy. Once he managed to grab the puppy he set it down and pet him. "Yeah he's cute. Don't know why he likes me though." he told her. When she commented on the medical attention and the clothes, he let out a small chuckle. "The only other clothes I think I can get you something is an outfit from the only female member here. I'm not sure she would be happy sharing clothes with you but I'll see what I can do." He explained. With that said he walked back upstairs and closed the door behind him, going to find her some new clothes.

Zoey's face went completely red when she was pinned by him. She tried to avoid his eyes but once she looked at them she couldn't look away. Something pulled her towards him. This of course only made the blushing worse. "I-It's just that... I... I'm getting to... close." she managed to stutter out in a whisper. She paused for a second, trying to gather her thoughts. Or at least what was left of them. "It's only been a couple of days since we know each other and... I don't know... "She began to get frustrated with herself. She didn't like how weak she was to him. How weak she got when around him. In such little time he has worked his way into her heart in a way all her friends could only do in a year. Shaking her head non stop like a kid about to throw or throwing a temper-tantrum. At this point, she just wanted him to stay and hug here, staying by her side tonight. Or just leave before she broke.

Sasuke sighed. He understood what she mean. Getting close to people after what had happened wasn't an easy thing to do. Not only that but once you have, you're afraid that they will get hurt and there would be nothing you could do about it... Nothing. He looked at her for another moment or so. "Well... I get it. But then answer this." He said with a pause. He sighed then continued. "Do you want me to stay, or should I go?" He asked her. Because he didn't want to start to much drama with this one, but of course what was life without it? He waited for her answer, as he did he was thinking many different others thoughts. All directed to one thing, what was going to happen tomorrow? They had lost their leader of the mission becuase she was protecting them, they failed their mission and let them get away. Tsunade would be furious, he knew that. He wondered what they were doing to their leader at the Akastuki hideout, who knew. He sighed once again and pushed those thoughts away. They didn't matter, he had no close realtionship with Rei, nor would he ever, for now he focused on Zoey. She was the closest thing to a good relationship he had with anyone after Naruto.

Rei titlted her head and her hair fell to one side as she looked at her pup with Itachi. "Like a child, they see the good part of the person. And with puppies they have another sense. He see's something in you, seeing past your surface." She said quietly. She looked up at Itachi when he chuckled, but she only sighed. "I don't care much." She said before he left. Once the door was shut she let out a heavy sigh and leaned her head against the wall. Rei looked at the food, she wasn't hungry but she would eat it when she was. She let her pup eat a little of it as she struggled to get up, refusing to rest in this situation. She put her hands to her stomach, and started to concetarte, her Mystic Palm technique wouldn't work. She started to walk around slowly. She punched a wall, seeing the damage, this hurt her more then the wall though. A dent was in the wall, her strength hadn't retunred and she could tell this room had some seal on it so no jutsu could be used in it. She had one arm around her stomach, and her pu was following her around. It went to the door Itachi came through and started to scratch and whine. Rei let him do so, she was to busy walking around the room getting use to the pain and memorizing it so that she could feel slightly more comfortable. This wasn't the smartest thing to do, because with a wound like her's she shouldn't be walking around.

Zoey was happy that he understood. "I.. I want you to stay." she admitted. In the back of her mind she thought it was a bad idea. Would Kakshi care? Was it his business? Not really, so she ignored it. And some how Sakura being angry about this put a smile on her face. This though, would only please her if Sakura found out. When Sasuke finally let go of her arms, she moved over. That way there was room on the bed for him.

Itachi had gotten clothes from Konan. They were decent enough. When he opened the door the puppy fell on it's face. It must have been up against the door. He picked up the puppy and brought it down along with the clothes. Also making sure to shut the door behind him. She was walking around, which wasn't good for her. It was probably only hurting her more. "SIT DOWN! he ordered. He was pissed off from a conversation he had with Hidan and dealing with Konan earlier. He threw the clothes at her. "Put those on or stay in the cloak!" he half yelled. The puppy started to whimper in his hands. He started to pet it to try and calm it down but it didn't seem like it was working. It was this that probably brought he back. To calm down alittle. "I'm sorry." he mumbled half to the pup half to Rei.

He layed down next to her in a half sitting position. He pulled her to him so that he head was near his chest or stomach area. He had one am around her as he smoothed her hair back. "Is there anything you want to say to me? Anything at all, I'll listen." He said to her. He had his eyes closed and his breathing was steady. His heart beat slow because he was comfotable. He knew that Sakura would be pissed in the morning when she realized what happened. And Kakashi.... Well he didn't care to much, because Kakashi didn't really jump to conclusions and he knew Sasuke to well. He knew Sasuke wouldn't do what they would be thinking. He knew that Sasuke could see Naruto slightly in her, and that they connected because of similar events that had happened to him and her.

Rei turned her head towards Itachi. He ordered her to sit down. She smirked, he did show emotion just not normally. Rei caught the clothes, the movement was to fast which gave her more pain. She stared at him for a moment. She looked at the clothes, not sure how she would even get them on. She unbuttoned the cloak and put on the pants like normal. Which wasn't smart along with putting on the top . Well it made her feel less uncomfortable now, because only bandages was akward. She threw the cloak to him. She looked at him for a moment examining him. "First of all, why would you care whether I sit or not?" She questioned. She sighed when he said sorry. She didn't care much. "What's wrong with you?" She asked and walked over to him and pet her pup softly. Something no other human would feel. She hadn't been this close to him before, or this close to people before on her own free will. She looked up at Itachi, she had never seen the sharigain this close before. And it caught her off gaurd, she got mesmerized by them. She hadn't even realized it at first and when she did her head snapped back, looking away quickly and backing away a little.

Zoey was surprised that she didn't have to force him to lay down beside her. She cuddled her way next to him, resting her head on his chest. One arm she lied on, the other around him. She was comfy here. She didn't know why but this was probably the most comfortable she had been in awhile. She yawned. She knew she was going to pass out soon enough. She heard him ask if there was anything she wanted to say to him. "I love you." she managed to mumble just before she passed out.
