Time seemed to stand still around Brandon's surroundings. All he could see moving was all of the band members. Hearing all of the instruments, they all just have a way to move him. The drums makes his heart skip a beat, it's probably one of the most amazing feelings in the world. The bass shakes his entire body, An electric guitar keeps his feet planted on the ground and a smile on his face; and hearing someone sing made him want to listen in and just feel every emotion he could possibly feel. He was in heaven.

Taking a moment to snap back into reality, he noticed how Hayden was taking pictures but stopped when the moved to a different part of the stage. He guessed her height was a bit of problem. Leaning down slightly, close enough for her to hear him he said " If you want, I can lift you up a bit. So you can get a better chance at getting some pictures."

Before she had time to be saddened from her bad angle, her favorite AFI song began to play. "The Days Of The Phoenix"'s guitar riffs blasted from the speakers, sending the ultimate chill down her spine. She closed her eyes for a moment, taking in all the sound around her. Nirvana couldn't be far off from this. Hayden breathed in deep and smiled.
On the exhale of her sigh, Brandon leaned toward Hayden's ear, suggesting that he could lift her up to get a better shot of the other side of the stage. She nodded enthusiastically, very pleased with this idea. Nothing could get any better at this point, Hayden thought.

A small smile crept up to Brandons lips. "Alright, get ready!" Putting both hands on her hips, he carefully lifted her up enough to where she could see. She was so tiny! He couldn't help but laugh a little. Out of all the girls he was friends with, none of them were this small.

So far, this was the best concert he had ever been to. The music, the crowd, everything, it was all just so amazing. He never wanted it to end but sadly he knew it would have to and he felt a little down when he heard that this would be the last song for the night, but it was best to enjoy it while he could.

Butterflies fluttered in Hayden's stomach again as Brandon lifted her into the air, both from the concert in front of her and who was holding her by her hips. She captured picture after picture during what the band said would be their last song of the evening.
A pang of sadness hit Hayden, realizing that soon this would all be over. She'd be alone in her apartment, with nothing but her thoughts and quiet. But then she remembered. Her and Brandon were going to get pizza after the show! The sadness was pacified and her spirits were back up as high as she was. She snapped away til the end of the song, shouting all the words back at Davey as if the show would continue if he heard her. Despite her participation, the show was over and it was time to go.

As everyone in the crowd started to go their separate ways, Brandon gently put Hayden back on her feet. Feeling more comfortable around her, he softly put an arm around her and looked down at her and flashed her is famous smile "Ready for pizza tiem?!" He couldn't wait to taste that pizza and more importantly, He could wait to actually get to know her better.

As they walked out of the venue, he looked around and asked "So, where to Madame?"

After the audience dispersed out the exits, Brandon gracefully placed Hayden back on the ground. She noticed there was less tension between them now. Brandon put his arm around her, smiling, asking about pizza. Hayden's face lit up. "HELL YEAH!" She couldn't hide her enthusiasm if she tried. Plus she was running off concert adrenaline.
Outside the venue, Hayden pointed the two in the direction of the pizza joint, "Frankie's Pizza & Grinders". Suddenly realizing how starving she really was, Hayden grabbed Brandon's hand and started to pull him gently towards Frankie's. She looked back at his startled expression and giggled. C'mon, there's PIZZA waiting for us!

.Feeling slightly bewildered, Brandon looked at Hayden with a semi shocked expression. He wasn't expecting her to hold his hand in any way at all! Shaking his head a few times, he smiled and let out a small laugh. "Pizza time is something I've been looking forward too all day, man! come on, lets get there faster!" Pulling her closer, he swiflty threw her over his shoulder and ran towards the pizza place that she pointed out. The faster they got there, the faster they would get their pizza!

In the midst of her giggles, Brandon picked her up and swung her over his shoulder. This kid was so much stronger than he looked! She laughed even harder as he took off towards the pizza. This was going to be a fun night, she could tell already.

Brandon quickened his pace, trying to reach their destination. The show made his hunger grow to the point where is was almost unbearable."VROOM! VROOM! And we reach our destination!" With his free hand, he opened the door and ran in. The place was small but welcoming and it wasn't full either. Now that was a good thing! Less waiting time! "Alright madam, since you've been here before what do you recommend? Oh wait. Let me put you down." Letting out a small laugh, he softly put her down on her feet.

Hayden's giggles increased as they got to the pizza place, Brandon vrooming like a car as he opened the door. Even with all this going on, she couldn't ignore the rumble and rip in her stomach; she was so hungry! As the laughter subsided, he put Hayden down and asked what they should get. She put her finger to her chin in thought, running the menu through in her head. "Wellll...they've got a kick-a** meat-lover's pizza...great calzones...or the chicken alfredo pizza, if you're feeling daring."
Ripples of hunger flooded into her stomach again, so she started towards a booth so she could sit down. The concert fatigue was definitely catching up with her!

Brandon sat down next to Hayden and rubbed his chin with his thumb and forefinger in thought. "Hmmm, how about we get the meat lover's pizza and the chicken alfredo pizza. I'm so hungry, I could eat a whole building." He looked up and smiled at the man standing behind the counter, and waved at him to come over. Then man quicky came over to them, pulled out his pen and pad and asked "Hello sir, what can I get you?"
" Hi! Umm, can we get the meat lovers pizza and the chicken alfredo pizza? Oh! and can I also get a Dr. Pepper?" He looked over at Hayden "What would you like to drink?"

Brandon wanted both pizzas. As he ordered the two for them, Hayden breathed in the air around her, taking in Italian and a really enticing cologne she was shocked she hadn't noticed earlier. It made her head spin a bit. It just as likely could have been spinning from her lack of nutrients, though. She came back to reality just in time to get her drink. "Uhhh, I'll take Mountain Dew! I could use the energy."
With that, the waiter jotted down something on his notepad. "We'll have your drinks right out fer ya." The New York accent still made her day, even though she'd lived there for some time now.
The two smiled at him as he headed off to the kitchen, then turned to each other. A casual chat about the color of the tablecloth and why exactly some people ate pizza with a fork arose, then the guy behind the counter delivered the drinks.
Hayden shot her arm out for her drink, shoving the straw into the cup and gulping half of it down before Brandon could take his first sip. After she swallowed a giant mouthful of carbonated heaven, an idea hatched in her mind.
"Heyy. Have you ever tried Dr. Dew?" Hayden picked up her glass and started to pour Mountain Dew into Brandon's drink, a grin on her face.

Brandon could help but laugh at Hayden. She must be thirsty if she grabbed it that fast! He took a nice long sip of his Dr. Pepper and looked over at her when she asked him if he'd ever had Dr. Dew. "..Dr. De- Woah! No, no I haven't" He picked up he glass and poured some of its contents in to hers. "Have you?"
He laughed as he playfully poked her side and smiled. "So, besides the whole Dr. Dew thing, Why don't you tell me a little bit about yourself? We hardly know each other after all." Just as he asked, their pizza arrived. Finally! The hunger would go bye bye!
He grabbed a slice of the chicken alfredo pizza and took a bite. He could not believe how good it was, this was the best pizza he had ever had. "Oh god, this is like an orgasm in my mou- Uhhh, I mean. This is really good!" He quickly shoved the rest of the pizza in his mouth, avoiding making a fool out of himself.

The pizzas were put down on the table, and just like the Mountain Dew, Hayden grabbed a slice, ignoring the molten temperature of it, and took a huge bite.
As she chewed, she tilted her head to the side and thought about how to describe herself, a little smile curling her lips. This pizza was just short of divine...
Hayden's smile got wider, along with her eyes, courtesy of Brandon's semi-awkward comment about the taste of the pizza. This kid was awesome!
"I KNOW, right?! " She paused to finish her bite, then remembered he'd asked her about herself. "But yeah, I'm 18, from Cleveland, and currently am loving this delicious pizza." She again tilted her head to the side, unsure of what else to say. She had a million thoughts she wanted to share, about all the s**t she'd been through and into these last few years, but she'd just met this guy...Although there was a bit of a connection there. Maybe in due time, she decided, concluding with a "aaaand, yeah." Hayden took another monstrous bite of pizza and looked down.

"So you're 18? I'm a year older than you. Ha ha." Brandon said as he waved his slice in the air. He noticed that she seemed to want to share more but refrained herself from doing it. He sat back in his chair, letting a small laugh. "Well, I'm 19, from Houston,I play the guitar and the guitar I carry with me is very special to me. Oh and I'm currently trying to escape my problems."
Brandon hoped that by telling her that bit of information would get her to open up a bit. Taking another bite of his pizza he softly nudged her and smiled. "Your turn to say something else"
