Alice followed Dee into the kitchen, grateful when the taller girl gestured for Tessa to stay in the living room. She looked around kitchen and listened to Dee while she waited for a glass, fighting off the urge to blush as the older girl flirted with her.
"Thank you," Alice said with a nod of her head after she took the glass. "And I'm trying to relax, I promise," she said as she made her way to the fridge and opened the door. She felt a little going through Andie's fridge but the older girl had told her to help herself. Her eyes lit up when she spotted the lemonade in the back of the fridge and she pulled the carton out. "I haven't been to a sleep over in like eight years," she explained as she poured the light yellow liquid into the glass. She took a long sip of her drink once she was done pouring it before putting the carton back in the refrigerator. "I guess you could say I'm a little overwhelmed," she admitted with a shrug before she leaned her back against the counter.
She willed her body to relax as she took another long sip from the lemonade. She didn't want Dee to think she was weird because she couldn't relax at a friend's house. Then again, she had just admitted that her last sleepover was eight years ago. If that wasn't weird, she didn't know what was.

Anders grinned knowingly at Alice as she tried to fight away a blush, then turned to grab herself a glass out of the cupboard. Once she had one in hand, she called out loud enough for Tess to hear her, "Hey, Tessa? Would you like a drink?" as she waited for Tess's answer, she nodded at the redhead's explanation for acting so strange.
"Well, don't be too nervous. Someone's gotta be able to stay up with me all night, because I happen to know for a fact that Tess will be knocked out by midnight. It's only a matter of time with her." she said with the tiniest of charming smiles. Forcing herself up onto the counter, she smiled nonchalantly down at the glass in her hands and contemplated getting herself a drink, but then remembered she had water in the other room. Water that Alice had brought her to take the pain meds with.

Alice sipped the lemonade as she studied Dee while the older girl talked to her. Her eyes were narrowed slightly as she tried to figure out if Andie was flirting with her or if she was just trying to have a friendly conversation. And if she was flirting with her, did it really mean anything since her and Tessa had become a couple? She shook her head. Girls were so confusing.
"Well, I'm sure she'll try extra hard to stay up and protect you from me," Alice finally replied with a shrug. "I'm surprised she hasn't burst in here to stop me from seducing you with my feminine wiles," she added with a small smile before taking another sip from her drink.
"I'd like a hot cup of Andie Harmon!" The unexpected reply from the living room made the redhead laugh before the liquid could make it completely down her throat, successfully making her choke. After several coughs, she was able to breathe again but her face had turned red once more. Out of embarrassment or lack of air, she wasn't sure.

The tall girl smiled slightly as the redhead got all squinty-eyed. Reading the expression as a form of anger, Andie stopped her flirting. She didn't want this girl to hate her. But why did she care so much? She didn't care what anyone thought of her.... anyone but Alice. What was it with this girl?! Andie frowned down at the glass in her hands at that thought. That was until Alice's smooth voice brought her back to reality.
She shrugged at the redhead's words. Perhaps Tess would try to stay up to make sure nothing happened between Anders and the green-eyed beauty. But why should she feel the need to? Andie may be a flirt, but she wasn't going to start making out with the last girl that fell asleep. Or would she? She smirked to herself as the possibility swirled in her mind. Shoving that out of her mind, she looked at the redhead, the small smirk turning into a big grin that flashed Alice her white teeth. "Well, you are dangerously gorgeous. Maybe I do need protection." she laughed and jumped down from the counter. Her normally graceful, silent landing became a not-so-graceful thud because of the boot she was wearing on her left leg. As Tess' voice broke the silence, the injured girl couldn't help but chuckle softly. "She's subtle, isn't she?" she asked wryly before motioning Alice to follow her back into the main room.

"You know, you should be a little more careful with your dismount. You're going to hurt yourself even more," Alice scolded her as she followed Andie back to the living room. The grip she had around her glass tightened slightly when she saw Tessa staring at her, watching her every move. She flashed the blonde a smile just to piss her off before sitting back down on the loveseat. The blonde girl scowled at the expression, which only made Alice's smile grow. There was just something about irritating the other girl that amused her to no end.

"I tried to do handstands for you but every time I fell for you."
Tess kept telling herself she trusted Andie and that her best friend wouldn't do something to hurt her. In fact, she trusted Andie with her life. It was the green-eyed harpy girl she didn't trust. As much as she trusted Andie, though, she couldn't deny that her friend obviously felt some sort of attraction towards Alice. She had seen the way Dee studied the bookworm and how her eyes lit up whenever the redhead spoke. She loved seeing that spark in the older girl's eyes. She just wished she was the one who was causing it. The only thing that kept the blonde girl from turning into an emotional wreck in the middle of Dee's living room was the the fact that Alice had a boyfriend, thus rendering her unattainable. Now if only she could find a way to pass this information on to Dee without seeming like an eavesdropping creeper...
"So, Alice. Do you and your friendly stuffed animal there ever play truth or dare?"

Andie just smiled at the redhead for seeming to care so much for her sake. "Me be careful? That's like asking my neighbors to have sex quietly! That's just not how things work." she said, throwing a smile at Alice before sitting down next to Tess on the couch. With the pain medications kicking in, and two gorgeous girls in her apartment, Andie felt pretty good. The only thing bringing her down was the thought of who had done this to her. She was having difficulty believing that Connor had actually ordered her beat up. He wouldn't do that, would he? Of course he would! He was Connor! Sighing softly, but then forcing herself to better things, Dee looked at Tess with a smile.
She could see emotions flitting across the younger girl's face when she looked at the redhead. She smirked a bit. 'She really does like me...' she affirmed with her mind, as if she didn't already know that. She looked between the two girls for a while when Otessa finally suggested a game of truth or dare. This was unexpected, and Andie took a while before replying. She didn't like truth or dare. She had many secrets, secrets no one knew. Secrets no one should ever know. But the chances of those getting asked about were very slim. Figuring these two younger girls would want to talk about boys or relationships or gossip or something equally as carefree, Andie nodded. "That sounds like a great idea. You in, Red?" she asked, blue eyes gazing intently at Alice.

Alice blinked when Tessa mentioned truth or dare. She hadn't actually played it herself, but it was kind of hard to be oblivious to the rules. "I know how to play," she replied with a shrug. She wasn't sure how she felt about playing, but when Dee asked if she was up for it, she responded with a nod. She had agreed to sleepover. The least she could do was play the silly game with them. "Who gets to start?"

"I tried to do handstands for you but every time I fell for you."
"Dee and I usually have a fist fight and whoever is left standing is the one who starts it off," Tess said with a straight face. She almost laughed at the way Alice's eyes widened. Almost. "But since you're new to the game, we'll just have whoever wants to go first the most, you know, go first. Which would be me," she said before turning her body so she was facing Dee. "So, Anders... Truth or Dare?" she asked as she wiggled her eyebrows.
"I'm permanently black and blue. Permanently blue for you."

Andie gave the redhead a winning grin of white teeth when she nodded in agreement to play. She couldn't withhold a chuckle when Tess told Alice how they usually decided who got to go first. "It's a good thing you're new to this", she said gazing at Alice, "because I don't know if I'm in good enough shape to beat anyone in a fight." Her comment was completed with a lopsided grin. Only after she said it did she realize what she had done. Andie would not usually admit how badly she was hurt. In fact, she prided herself for being able to hide her pain. And yet she had just told two gorgeous girls that she couldn't stand her own in a fight. Anders could always hold her own in a fight... at least that's what she told herself.
The truth of the matter was that the tall brunette had never particularly liked Truth or Dare. She was incredible at completing any dare people could throw at her. But it was the truth part that she wasn't good at. Which lead her to response to her best friend's question. "Dare." she said, a wicked glint in her eye. She wondered what her little spitfire friend could come up with. Anything good? Probably. Otessa had always been good at coming up with awesome dares for Andie. Unfortunately, Tess knew Anders well enough to know that she tended to avoid picking truth. Andie hoped that Tess wouldn't point that out to the redhead or press the issue.

A smirk played across Tessa's face as Dee played right into her hands. It was at times like these that she was glad she knew Anders so well. Oh, but she was going to hate Tessa for what she was about to say. "I dare you to withhold from any activities that could possibly irritate your injuries. And I don't mean your definition of 'irritate', I mean every other person's definition," she said with a wide smile. She placed a quick kiss on the older girl's nose before she could get too pissed at her. Of course, Andie could always dare her to cancel it, but Tess planned to simply choose truth for the rest of the game. "I'm permanently black and blue. Permanently blue for you."

Alice chuckled when she heard Tessa's dare. She had to admit that, while she found the blonde irritating, that had been pretty clever. Now she wondered how good Andie would be at actually completing it. Her brow scrunched slightly when she realized it was Dee's turn to go now. Was she going to ask her or go back to Tess? If she did ask her, what the hell was Alice going to choose? Crap. What was she going to do if she had to ask someone else truth or dare? She was beginning to realize she wouldn't be very good at this game.

Her mood tumbled down a chute when she heard the dare. "That dare is so sucky it's a vacuum cleaner." She said and glared at the shorter girl as she kissed her nose. She knew she wouldn't keep that dare. As soon as Tess fell asleep, which would happen in not too long because she never was able to stay up super late, she would be doing whatever the hell she wanted with her body. Whether she wanted to go run five miles or do her regular workout. She eventually smiled wryly at her young girlfriend. So naive to think that Andie would actually follow this dare.
Anders turned her electric blue gaze to Alice. "Truth or dare, Red?" she asked with a disarming smile. She planned on giving the girl an easy question/dare to begin with. Just to get her into the game before she hated it. Unfortunately, this game had already gone too far for Andie to enjoy it. Otessa had to know how huge of a deal this dare was. For the muscular brunette, it was nearly impossible to just sit around and rest. She had to do something. Not that she was hyper, but she was simply uncomfortable staying in the same place for long periods of time. Unless she was occupied with something.. like Tess' mouth. 'Or Alice's mouth for that matter', she found herself glancing at the redhead's lips. She caught herself after a split second, and re-aimed her focus somewhere that wouldn't get her into trouble with Tess. The floor.

Alice looked down at the couch for a moment as she turned the choice over in her head. She felt both sets of eyes on her and was suddenly self-conscious about the choice. She didn't want to seem like a pansy by choosing truth. She had a feeling Tess would never let her hear the end of it if she did. "Dare," she finally said.

Andie glared at Tess, even after being kissed. But soon her focus shifted to the redhead again. "Hmmm. Let me think." she said out loud before scratching her chin to exaggerate the fact that she was thinking. The tall girl didn't want to give poor Alice a hard dare. And she didn't want to give her an easy one. 'Something to do with hickies?' she wondered, but soon dismissed it. If she dared Alice to choose her or Tess to give her a hicky anywhere on her body, it could get ugly. Because Alice would almost definitely pick Andie. And Tess would get jealous. Andie frowned. It had been such a good idea. If only non of them were in relationships. Speaking of which, was Alice seeing someone? Andie felt herself drift off.
Pulling herself out of her mind, she said "I dare you and Tess to get along the whole night." she said, raising her eyebrows at Tess before sticking out her tongue. Satisfied that she had gotten Tess back for her crappy dare, she smiled at Red and offered a small smile as an apology for giving her the bad dare.
