Welcome to Gaia! ::

Majikku looked at the angel like figure that was holding him. "Are you...their friends?" he asked with weakness in his voice. His eyes were still filled with sadness. Even though they had come for Roze, he was still worried.
Achi-ka-chan pulled DeRu up higher, and then when he was close, she snapped him up, arm around his waist, his back on her stomache. "Yeah! Sweety!" she said to him, slightly purring.
DeRu was happy to be with Achi-ka-chan, and looked down below at the vast darkness. "...mmph..." he slightly moaned, remembering what could have happened if Achi-ka didn't speak up.
Even if Roze or Airyo had wanted to reply, they couldn't have. Airyo was unable to speak and was slowly beginning to pass out like Roze, who was already going cold. Realizing how desperate the situation was becoming, the angels flew faster. The wind tore at their hair and sometimes rocks hit them in the face. Kaitou, who was beginning to wake up a little, began to enjoy the ride a little more. "Almost there...almost..."
Majikku, who was depressed and naive, reached over and hugged the unconcious Roze. She was the reason he was still alive. She was the reason he had unintentionally (and he doesn't know it's him) met up with his long lost brother, DeRu. It was all thanks to her, and for that, he hugged even tighter.
Achi-ka-chan started singing in the pitch black darkness. If you closed your eyes, it wouldn't make a difference. "Nya nyaaan, nya nyaaan...DeRu-kun, can you say 'nyaaa'?" she asked.
DeRu, feeling grateful (but not much), decided to respond. "Nyaaa..." he mewed hesitantly.
"Nyaaaaaa!" Achi-ka mewed back, holding DeRu closer to her stomache.
All at once, the angles screamed "Close your eyes and hold your breath!" They were flying through a mist of some kind, a deadly mist. If it entered their body, it would probably kill them if they didn't get the cure immediately. The cure wasn't located in the united states. Not even close. Kaitou squeezed his eyes shut and blugged his nose. His ears hugged his head and he held tightly to his angels. "Please, let me live..."
DeRu, Achi-ka, and Majikku were caught off guard by the sudden outburst. Majikku closed his eyes and cut off his breathing, then held Roze closer.
Achi-ka tightened her arm around DeRu's stomache, telling him to obey their orders or he will die. She closed her eyes and held her breath, just as they asked.
DeRu saw the eerie mist in plain sight, and hesitantly followed their orders. He cut off his breathing and shut his eyes.

A hazy, blurred figure appeared in the mist. It seemed to be laughing to herself. Purple curly hair was one of the only clear things you could see.
The angels' were aware of the purple thing, but were unable to stop flying without killing themselves an their companions. So, they kept flying, not caring if the thing saw their destination or not. And then it was all gone. The air felt clean and still and the deadly mist had vanished. You could hear people speaking in hushed tones and even the soft crackling of a fire. The angels slowly let down their baggage at the cliffside and began to make their way towards the fires. "Stay away from the edge." Was all they said. Anyone who was incapable of moving, however, the angels carried away towards the fire in a hurried pace. When they reached the fire, their appearances became apparent. Also, their voices became more urgent and quite a bit louder. More and more people had already begun to gather at the first fire, ignoring their other visitors.

Once set down, Majikku and Achi-ka-chan watched as the angels talked to the people by the fire. "I wonder why we're here..?" asked Majikku. "Yeaah~" Achi replied.
DeRu, on another note, was looking down the cliff, seeing the vague figure. It taunted him by occassionaly giggling, and twirling in the air.
The figure soon rose, and looked DeRu in the eyes.

..."Boo." it spoke. DeRu, caught by surprise, staggered backward, and fell on his bottom. He looked at it with big eyes. "Look!!" he cried out to the others. Majikku and Achi-ka saw it, and slightly shrieked as well. "A ghost?!" yelled out Majikku in surprise. The ghost, Henge, giggled more. Humans were always so surprised when they saw her. "Survivors..." the ghost muttered under her breath.
The voices became quicker, then it seemed like something had been decided. One person with flowing and flaming red hair took both Airyo and Roze in her, you could tell what they looked like by now, and ran off. Then the one with short spiked hair walked over to the other group with a candle. It was actually a girl, who was wearing a short black dress tied around the waist with a red string. Huge black wings came out from her back. She wore no shoes and a black necklace with a red gem in the center. The ghost-like figure suprised her, but she made no movement as to retreating or attacking. Instead, she paid more attention to the others. Once within hearing range, she began to speak. "Who are you? And why were you traveling with your companions?" She asked, keeping her distance from them. Her eyes traveled along the group, but her face made no expression until it fell upon Kaitou. A small gasp escaped her lips, but she made no other comment.

Before Short and spiked came over, Kaitou had the strangest reaction to the ghost. He stared at her for a second, then scrambled off behind Aki-ka-chan, shaking. If he had turned his head around to see the fire, however, he would have become very excited and happy, for obvious reasons.
Majikku stepped toward the girl with the candle, and spoke up. He pointed to himself. "I'm Majikku," he pointed to DeRu, "that's DeRu," he pointed to Achi, " that's Achi-ka-chan," and then pointed to Kaitou, "and that's Kaitou. We were traveling with those angels because they saved us from a zombie apocalypse. Haven't you heard?" Majikku spoke up.
DeRu quickly stood up, brushed himself off, and faced the girl.
Achi-ka-chan was confused on whether to face the girl or the ghost, but the ghost seemed harmless, so she faced the girl. Achi pat Kaitou's head, and whispered "It's okay."
Henge floated in the middle of them. "Can I play?" she asked with a wispy voice.
Spiked and Short stumbled back a little, but smiled when she realized it was only the girl. Probably not friendly, but practicly harmless. "Yes and yes. We know about the apoclypse, thats why we're hiding here. And yes...ghosty...you can play." She said. "But why were they unconcious?" Spiked asked.

Kaitou frowned, suddenly realizing how funny he had been acting. "But I'm not a cat, I'm a human!" He quickly straightened himself up and stood up straight like a good little boy.
"Well, I hate to say this, but we practically wore them out. They carried us everywhere by flying. And then suddenly...they just reached their limit and crashed." Majikku explained.
Henge smiled, sat down with her knees to her chest, and floated up, spinning slowly, holding her knees.
Achi smiled big, and hugged Kaitou. "Awww! Yes you aaare~!" she exclaimed, hugging tighter.
Kaitou made a frowny-face, but enjoyed the affection. Spiked and short nodded her head and smiled. "No one here really trusts you yet, but I if your not dead and were with Roze and Airyo, then you must be good people." She then held her finger to her chin and looked up. "But exhaustion isn't really what made them pass out, actually. They got infected by whatever those zombified people have, unfortunently." Spiked made sort of an unhappy face, probably wondering if they were going to be okay. But then she smiled and looked back at the guests. "Don't worry about them, though. I'm Karin, lead of the angels or whatever you call them. Nice to meet you~!" She said, holding out her hand for shake. Kaitou sprung forward, leaping out of Aki-ka-chans grip and began to shake Karin's hand rapidly. "Kaitou, fourteen, half mountain lion. Have you seen any other people with animal-like features such as mine!?"

Majikku made one brief step to shake Karin's hand, but then Kaitou leaped at it. He took a step back, and lowered his hand.
DeRu tilted his head slightly, in thought. "The leader, huh..." he thought, obviously thinking up a plan.
Achi-ka-chan was slightly dissappointed that Kaitou had leapt away, but she was fine with that. She then stepped forward, pat Kaitou's head, while smiling. "Oh Kaitou-kun, I'm sure your animal friends are near~! Heheheh!~" she laughed.
A thought hit Majikku. "Hey! Can I see...Roze...to make sure she's..okay? I really want to see her..." Majikku pleaded with a quiet, calm voice.
Karin raised an eyebrow at how Aki-ka-chan pet Kaitou. It was cute, and made Karin want to try. But, she had to try and stay serious, no matter what was happening. It kept everyone calm and under control. "Animal friends...?" Karin's eyes rolled back a bit, indicating she was thinking. THen a smile appeared on her face and she held up her free hand. "Oh, you mean Ai! Yes, they're here actually! We found them on the way here, and decided to take them with us and stuff..." If this were the comics, you could see Karin with a pink bubble under her eye and a happy looking cat mouth under her nose. Maybe even a few flowers flying around her.

Her eyes then fell on DeRu, and she immediately decided her opinion of him. She made no indication of her dislike, but Karin had a strong enough mind to realize he was probably not the best character to travel with. If anything, she should be careful around him until he proved himself otherwise. Then Majikku spoke up, mentioning somethinb about seeing Roze. Karin shook her head. "She's undergoing treatment right now, and it would be best if you left both her and Airyo alone. We'll let you know when she's done, okay?" Karin smiled, then began to walk back to the fire. "Why don't you come and meet everyone? Your probably hungry and stuff...."

Indeed Roze and Airyo were undergoing treatment. Ai had taken them into one of the makeshift huts they had made. (The huts come from trees. The sanctuary they are staying in was built during world war X to escape from enemy forces.) She had gathered some of the angels and they were performing what healing they could on both of them. There was no usable medicine there, so healing techniques were all they could use. Karin wanted to be there too, but she had other duties to attend to.
Achi-ka-chan's eyes lit up. "More animal-like friends? EXCITING~!" she cheered, slightly hopping in delight. "Oh, Kaitou-kun, you must let me meet them! Hopefully there's more cats~ Mew!"
DeRu noticed Karin eyeing him. He didn't care, because at first sight, people always thought he was a louche character. They were right. DeRu was slightly ruthless and sadistic, but that didn't show, nor did it happen much. He was always aplomb in most situations.
A frown came upon Majikku's face. He wanted to see Roze badly. Even though she was probably well without him, worry still lingered within him. It was his natural instinct to care for others. He cared for Airyo's well-being as well, but there was something about Roze that struck him.
Snapping out of sadness, Majikku nodded, and looked at Achi-ka, DeRu, Kaitou, and Henge. "Let's go meet everyone, and finally have something to eat." he said to them with a smile. Soon, Achi, DeRu, Majikku, and Henge started walking over to the fire.
