I Failed? But how? (One on One RP for Peppy and Chiby)

[The Magic Magician]

DeRu put on a worried expression, and stayed quite quiet.
Majikku snuggled closer to Roze, and watched peacefully as they flew south. "So...who are your friends?" he asked curiously.
Achi-Ka-chan cheered, saying "new friends, new friends, nyaaa" over and over again. Somebody was excited.

[Chibysuke]

Roze gave a sigh of relief, realizing that Mr. Snotty-pants had finally decided to shut up. Airyou looked at Majikku and raised an eyebrow. "Oh. People." The song that Kitty was singing was beginning to annoy him, but he could always shut her up later. "By the way, it's going to be a long trip. They're all the way up in South Dakota, so we're going to have to take a break every now an then. We're not jets." Roze nodded. "My arms are already beginning to ache, and we haven't even been up for an hour!" Kaitou began looking around, desperately seraching the skies for his friends. Where were they? Were they even alive!? Then he heard the word "South" and "Dakota" He hadn't ben listening to the conversation, so that immediately sparked his interes. "South Dakota!" He said, spitting into the wind. His spit came right back at him, hitting him in the nose. "South Dakota, is that where we're headed?!"

Majikku's eyes lit up in excitement, then he cheered. "South Dakota! That's where a famous monument is!" he exclaimed. He had momentarily forgot about the apocalypse. It was wonderful.
DeRu looked at Airyou and Roze with a cross expression. "Damnit. Even though they saved my life, they're becoming exasperating. Perhaps when this is over...I could use them? No, no...they seem to dislike me. Things will turn out alright." DeRu thought with harshness.
Achi-Ka-chan squeaked with excitement. "Oh woww~! Mt. Rushmore! South Dakotaaa! Sweet!"
Majikku looked at Roze again. "You can take a break any time you want to." he said with a smile.

Roze returned the smile. "Unfortunently, there aren't a lot of places to rest." She said. Kaitou's sudden outburst (he was squirming now) was causing her to lose altitude, however. "Kaitou, stop it! What's wrong with you?!" Airyo did his best to support her, but it wasn't much good when you didn't have hands. Kaitou was still looking around wildly. He seemed not to have heard him. FInally, unable to bear it any longer, Roze began shouting in his face. "You want me to drop you, KITTY KID WHO CAN'T FLY?!!"

Majikku, DeRu, and Achi-ka-chan looked at Kaitou. "Nyaaan...are you alright?" Achi-ka asked to Kaitou. If he said the wrong thing, she would stifle him with hugs all over again. DeRu, being the harsh kid he is, was thinking bad thoughts about Kaitou (i'd rather not describe). Majikku tapped Kaitou with his wand, having a curious expression. "Are you okay?" he asked.

Upon realizing he was the center of attention, Kaitou stopped squirming and shut up. "I...uh..." He looked down, not knowing what to say. Roze gave him the evil eye and began to shake him back and forth. "Out with it, boy!" "WaaAAaaAAa!" He said, unable to say anything. Airyo kicked Roze in the leg. "Stop it! He can't speak if you keep shaking him like that!" He said, now angry. Roze made a "Hmph" face, but stopped. Kaitou began to gasp for air, but was able to speak. "My friends...their like me, but different...they...I last saw them up in Dakota....could we look for them when we get up there? Please...?* He begged, looking quite pathetic.

"SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!" squealed Achi-ka-chan. More friends! she thought.
DeRu felt something snap. This was getting too annoying even for him. And he's been through some nasty s***.
Majikku smiled. "I'd love to meet your friends!!" he cheered (but not as excited as Achi-ka).

[Chibysuke]

That was an undeniable "yes". Airyo sighed. "Fine, we'll go and look for your friends when we get here, alright?" Kaitou smiled and his tail began to wag. "Right! Thank you!" He said, almost meowing. Now with everyone (Well, almost everyone) satisfied, Airyo and Roze sped off in a "sprint".

Majikku and Achi-ka were excited. DeRu, on another hand, was not. Everything that's happened so far has only brought him down.
Majikku suddenly had an excellent idea. "Say, if you guys aren't so tired, maybe you could have a race to South Dakota? Let's make the most out of this crisis." Majikku suggested.
Achi-ka-chan was ecstatic. "YES!" she yelled, throwing her hands into the air.
DeRu rolled his eyes, and looked down. To him, looking at the ground was more satisfying then watching them play around during an apocalypse.

Roze and Airyo made the same face at the same time while looking at Majikku. "Like hell." They said in unision. They were exhausted and there was no way they were going to race all the way up (north, we should be going north) Dakota.



And so time passes by.

When the time came, they arrived. Majikku, Achi-ka, and even a littttleee bit of DeRu, were excited. The land was so vast and beautiful. It had been a new land for all of them. Majikku pointed his wand in the air, and shouted, "We'reee heeere!"
But then a thought struck DeRu.
"Say...do you consider that zombies could be here as well?" he asked.

[Chibysuke]

A low moan from below answered his question. If you looked down, you could see some people being chased be an especially deranged looking zombie who was literally crawling after them. A small fire had also started. Airyo and Roze were at their limit, even though they had taken a break just thirty minutes ago. Still, Roze instictively covered Majikku's eyes and flew faster. "Come on. We're almost there." She said, her voice barely more then a whisper. Airyo nodded. He could see the large white heads in the distance.

DeRu sighed. Even he couldn't theorize how the hell zombies were spreading so fast. It was all a little too much. So, he sighed and lowered his head.
Achi-ka-chan watched as people were being chased. She watched with a sad but trying-to-be-cute expression. "Hmmn~" she sighed.
Majikku was glad Roze covered his eyes. He didn't want to see the terror. The terror that was happening all over the world now. He gently pushed her hand closer to his face, not wanting her to withdraw it.

Soon, they were hovering over Teddy Roosevelt's head. Luckily, no undead had managed to make it up there yet. "Wheres the entrance?" "This way." Airyou said, already descending. As soon as he was under Teddy's nose, he shot straight up into the nostril. "Follow!" His voice echoed down from Roosevelt's nose. Roze shrugged, not to fond of going up a mand's left nostril, but flew up anyway. Once inside, it was too dark to see anything, so she allowed her hand to release Majikku's vision.

He blinked once, twice. Majikku looked around the engulfing darkness. He had an idea. He raised his wand, and tapped it with his index finger. Pure magic glowed on it's tip, supplying the group some light. "Aha!" he said, looking around.
Achi-ka-chan was stunned. "We're in a nostril! Hehee!" she laughed.
DeRu simply ignored the happiness of others, and looked around. Ugh. Sometimes, I wish I died as a zombie meal. he thought. Things are getting disturbingly weird.
