Lexi Straddle
Location: girl's bathroom. // With: Jeff.
Lexi could hear the sound of chairs and tables being violently scraped across the floor. She swallowed, a lump in her throat.
What's happening out there?! I don't want to go see... but in the bathroom we're not any safer either. She reasoned with herself. Lexi could see Jeff's eyes widen with horror at the noises. She motioned with her hands for him to be quiet, as she starts to slowly remove her shoes. The noises from their shoes would be a dead giveaway, but in socks they can at least try to be stealthy. She contemplated how this would affect her running, but she decided ultimately that if she was caught, she would probably be outrun too. She motioned for Jeff to follow suit as she gently pushed the doors open. The door to the bathroom faced the west side of the school, and from there all she could see was the empty foyer. Still, the noises continued, thundering almost, against the quiet backdrop. She gently tugged at Jeff's sleeve, urging him along. For a moment, she contemplated asking him to stay put, surely he would cause more harm than good. But the fear of going out alone pushed past her common sense.
She ducked low and creeped along the wall, with Jeff in tow. Lexi passed the corner of the hall, with her breath held. To her relief, Alex's tiny face appeared somewhere down the hall, but no one else was with her. Her face was illuminated by the lights overhead. The hallway was noticeably dimmer, or maybe it's from being in the brightly lit bathroom for so long. Noises and shuffling were still coming from room 102, but the sight of Alex was more pressing.
Lexi silently mouthed to Alex, asking where everyone else was. She could make out that Ben was in the art room from the direction Alex pointed at, and Allen and Suki... she gulped, looking into room 102. Suddenly the noises coming from that room quieted down to soft shuffling. Stupidly, Lexi called out,
"Hello? Suki, Allen?" Then -- dead silence.
Lexi held her breath, for the hundredth time that night, waiting for more noises. Then loud thuds... no! -- footsteps! Something was coming for them, a shadow glided over the door's window. Fight or flight, and Lexi chose flight. She grabbed Jeff's hand and scampered along the hall, almost slipping and crashing into Alex because of her socks.
"What do we do? Who.. what is that?" Lexi's voice was hoarse with panic. She felt her head getting light. She looked back, and watched with horror as the knob starts to turn. Her fingers uncontrollably dug into Jeff's hand, fear and adrenaline ran through her.
Location: between room 103 and the cafeteria. // With: Jeff and Alex.
note: my dice roll of 3 means that she escapes -- with heavy injuries, I'm skipping the first step because it's obvious that they're spotted.

Before Lexi could react, thunderous footsteps crashed down the hall, mixed with heavy breathing and an unbearable stench of fresh blood. It struck her that this was her blood of people she knew. Andrew... maybe even Suki and Allen's. She pushed herself up. Her surroundings seemed to blur around her and become one big stop motion. One moment Jeff and Alex were beside her, the next they were in front of her. She called out for them to wait, but she knew that would go on deaf ears, no one is stupid enough to come back, especially not for her. She willed herself strength, and she could feel herself picking up momentum. She was going to get away! She --
A fist closed around her upper arm, almost yanking her arm out of its socket. She flew backwards and felt herself slamming against something very solid -- his body, she could smell it. She looked up and saw red, hungry eyes looking down at her, it's head silhouetted by the light above them. He wrapped his other arm around her midsection, crushing her small frame against his body. The wind was knocked out of her; she couldn't even scream. Then a shove from behind sent her to the ground. Her knees and palms painfully slammed into the tiles. She flipped around, and could finally take a good look at her maker. His visible skin was just a mask of scars, some places were still scabbed over. His hair was long and oily and covered half of his face. He had a long sleeved shirt, with one sleeve rolled up, revealing thick burly arms. She used her legs to push herself backwards, to create some distance between them, but it was no use. With a single step he closed the distance again, laughing. The sound sickened her, wiped the hope clean from her mind.
He reached forward again, this time towards her face. She tried to dodge his grasp, but this just resulted in a harsh, ringing slap across the face. Her whole face burned, but she knew there would be worse to come. Finally, the hand closed around her neck and started pulling her up. Her head felt like it would come off, so she had to push herself up with her arms and legs. He yanked her towards his face, and as he was several inches taller than her, she had to stay on her tiptoes to support herself. His grip became unbearably tight, closing her air supply. He opened his mouth and spat on her face, the warm, foul smelling liquid dripped across her mouth and down her chin. By this time, Lexi was really struggling to breath. With all her strength she kicked her leg out, striking him in the knee. He let go of her, as he went to grab his knee. She opened her mouth, a gulp of air rushed into her screaming lungs. She could taste his saliva now, but that didn't matter; she could breath again. With the back of her hands she wiped all the spit that she could from her face. She saw him reach into his pockets and something sharp glistened in the light. She had to run, she had to run now! She pushed herself up, and sprinted forward, but was stopped again with a painful wrench from her hair. She didn't care right now, she just wanted to live. She forced her head forward, the sound of hair ripping from her scalp screamed in her ears, but she didn't care, all she could feel was his grip being loosened and she ran. The cafeteria was right in front of her, and from there there would be a lot more places to hide in. She sprinted in that direction, and suddenly she felt searing pain in her left shoulder. She kept running, ignoring the pain, and made it to the cafeteria doors. The cafeteria was pitch black, and she found herself squeezing between a pile of stacked chairs, catching her breath.
She finally checked her back, her fingers timidly reaching behind her. The movement of her arm caused the injury to flare up with tear-jerking pain. Her fingers found something jutting out of her skin. With a lot of self control, she wrapped her fingers around it and pulled. Tears poured out of her eyes. With her blurred vision, she could barely see the tiny knife she pulled from her back. Her hand now soaked in her own blood.
Location: in the cafeteria. // With: no one.
