As the first full blooded demon in very man millennia, Adrell is being forced to marry the princess of sirens, Lila, before his father dies. Having a demon as a king is a little on the uncomfortable side for most people, and especially the Fae’s. they see Adrell as nothing more then trouble, something dark and sinister, but when a young fae touched women comes to personally know Adrell, she sees who he really is. Adrell protects the young fae girl, Eve, keeping her as a ‘slave’, but unfortunately the Fae king sees it as what the kingdom portrays it. The Fae king Kane believes that Adrell is keeping Eve merely as a pet, a slave, not knowing that Adrell actually cares, so Kane lures Lila away from the kingdom, making sure that Adrell is never crowed. But Lila is very ruthless. She knows her duty and knows that she must marry Adrell even though she nor him want to marry, so she continues to pull away and run off from Kane only for her to be dragged back by the hounds, or Kane himself.

So let us see what happens. Will Kane see that Adrell has a heart? And will Lila realize that there is someone else, another girl that is able to marry him so that she can live her life and love who she wants?

Adrell was growing to tired of all of this. There were butlers and servants running around acting as if the queen was coming. Well, if the queen would not have been his mother that is. But that was besides the fact. He was suppose to be meeting yet another eligible maiden. His parents were trying to force him to be wed, which he was not all to happy about. Yes, it was law that he had to be married by a certain age, but he still have a few months. He was fine. Though his parents did not believe so. They believed that it would be better for him to find a few girls, get to know them and then see if there was any connections. How as that suppose to happen anyway? They were forcing women down his throat! They were throwing royalty at his face! Maybe he did not want to marry a princess. Maybe he wanted to marry some street rat like that... oh... what was her name, Jasmine, yes. Maybe he wanted to be like Princess Jasmine and marry some man off the streets. That was true love. But at the moment, he was not interested in love. He just wanted to be left alone. So alone he would be.

Just as the butlers ran down the large staircase Adrell darted to his room where he pulled on a large cloaked that had a hood which he used to hide his face. There was no way he wanted to be recognized when he was in the town. If that were to happen, well, let us jus say there it would stir up a lot of commotion. So hiding his identity was surly a good thing. But after all, he knew that only a select few knew who he was. Actually, there was only one man who had ever seen him. He was a black smith. He was a lonely man. No family, not many friends and all he had was his donkey cat. He was a very kind man though. He was sworn to keep Adrell identity safe, seeing as no one was actually suppose to know what the prince looked like. It was just some silly rule that his great grandfather made. Stupid actually.

As Adrell pulled the hood up her closed her bedroom doors and ran to the balcony. There he used the vines that rose up the side to climb down slowly where he leaped the last few feet. She grumbled as his horns tangled in the fabric of the hood making it very annoying to wear. Unfortunately it was something that he would just have to deal with. So as he ran his hands frantically moved the hood around until it was comfortable. At last he stopped at the gate where he lifted up a small grate that was used to water drainage and crawled under it. It was all to ease to escape from this place, especially if you were a young child that went around playing where you were not suppose to.

Just as Adrell dropped the grate he could hear frantic voices calling his name. That was quick. But he just chuckled and moved right along. He ran until he finally saw the market, slowing to a walk pace. He did not want the people in the market to think of him as a mad man running through town. No, that would be bad. He would certainly be chased by the guards that walked around in the market. He and God only knew that he did not know that. So he slowed himself as he looked through the market. It was so different up close. But he licked it… in an odd way. It wasn’t that bad. He smiled as he pulled the hood up just a little more to cover his horns. They were not strange to the people, no, he just did not want them getting caught on anything.

Eve was sitting in her garden pulling herbs. She was a healer of the town and also very respected because she was a fae touched human. When she was a child she was in the woods when she found a young doe trapped in a hunter’s snare. Being the loving young girl she was she let the creature go and the next day she had wings, beautiful ones, and a power to heal though it could kill her if she used it to much as it used her own life force. Having such powers had made her life so much better, she was an orphan and being such she was not well liked, she struggled for food and such until she became the way she was. Now the woman was older, just turned eighteen and she was working her but off. She didn’t get much money but she was fed and had a few friends, the problem was she was respected but feared because of the fae blessings. She closed her eyes and rubbed them getting dirt on her face. She had to go see the blacksmith and give him some herbs and such for his aches and pains. She finished pulling the herbs and placing them in the basket at her side. She wore a simple green gown and her black hair was pulled back, she never left it down since her work made that hard. She grabbed her basket and headed out of her meager home, it wasn’t even a real home just a living room and a kitchen, also a bathroom of course.

She walked slowly through the village, it was market day so it was very crowded and she had trouble getting through the area as she walked. She could hear the banging of the hammer and smiled shaking her head. The man wasn’t supposed to be doing anything that day, he had hurt his hand the day before and she told him to rest, of course the old fool was stubborn as always. She forced her way through the crowd, her wings folded so not to get broken, she had that happen once before and she didn’t want it to happen again. She made her way into the smithy and put the basket on the table with a note telling him how to use them. Eve looked at the sky seeing the sun was high and nodded. She figured she would go eat something, a thing she hadn’t down in some time. She didn’t have a lot of money and even though she didn’t starve the woman barley ate because she couldn’t afford to pay, and she didn’t like taking charity. She walked through the crowd unsure of what to have. She wasn’t paying attention around her of course as she walked and soon she ran right into someone.

Eve fell right flat on her but with an ooff as she ran into the cloaked figure. She really had hurt herself and she felt horrible for what she had just done. She looked up to see a man who had not been seen before it seemed. Again being market day that was not unusual for this place. She rubbed her backside and after making sure her wings were once more tucked in she stood, people just walked around the two. She dusted herself off and then looked at the cloaked man. He looked odd to her but he was very handsome. She didn’t know why she thought so; eve had never been courted and probably never would. Many told her she should go to the land of fae and live there where she would be accepted better but of course eve knew that she would never be accepted anywhere she went; she was an abomination to humans and to fae. “I’m so sorry sir, I was not watching where I was going.” Her voice was like a cool summer breeze, soft and melodic, but warm at the same time. She didn’t know how to make it up to the man as she stood there chewing her lip.

To his surprise he was enjoying everything. The sights, then many people the children and oddly enough the smells. Okay, not everything smelled wonderful, not ever good actually, but there were many things that did. He passed by a few essence shops that sold this liquid that smelled beautiful that women would were. It was amazing! Is mother never wore anything like it, so he was unsure of what it was. But whatever it was he wanted it. He stepped over to the women that was behind the table, a smile on his charming face. "Excuse me ma'am. I would like your best smelling liquid." Right as the words came out of his mouth she giggled at him. "Deary, I think you mean perfume." She giggled again as she reached over and grabbed a not so fabulous bottle and pulled the cork off to let him sniff. The smell make his smile, ever brought a slight blush to his face and he nodded to the women as he set three gold coins on the table, grab the bottle and left the bemused women while she stared at the large amount of money he left her.

Her looked at the bottle as her ran a hand through his hair. He did not really need this for anything, but it smelled wonderful. Maybe if he ever went back home he would give it to his mother. But for now he just tucked the little bottle into his cloak as he looked around once more. Soon though he saw the smithy come into view. A child like smile came to his face as he picked up his pace only ever so slightly. He wanted to get the quickly to see his old friend, but again he did not wish to arouse suspension of mischief. But he was fine, a soon enough he was stepping into the home. There was no need for him to stop and call out a name, he just walked in and to the back of the building. Soon enough he was looking at the black smith who jumped up and grabbed a sword that had been sitting in the fire to heat up. "Thief! Thief! Help! Get out of here you rat!" At that the man lunged at him with the sword causing Abell to laugh as he side stepped the attack with ease. He stood as he threw his hood back and smile. "Come now, is that any way to treat a prince?" He smiled at the old man as he dropped the sword and walked to him, his arms wrapping around the thin boy. "Adrell! I was beginning to think that my old friend had forgotten me. It's so nice to see you. You fell a little thin though. I would think that royalty would be able to eat a little better." A low bellowed laugh came from the man as Adrell picked up the basket that was sitting on the table across the room and handed it to the man. "I believe someone left this for you. I did not know if you actually had seen it." But as she man reached for the basket Adrell was grabbing his hand. The bone was bruised and his hand was cut horribly. "What the hell did you do?" He looked around seeing at the tools he had out. He was actually working while he was hurt? What a foolish man, well, he would put a stop to this. ”I swear old man, if you keep working like this I’ll pay your weight in gold.” He grinned, Adrell knew that the man hated when he gave him money. He guessed it was just a poor mans pet peeve. Oh well, he would do it anyway if that got the man to stop. The man grunted and kicked aside of the tools and set down. ”I’ll try my boy… I’ll try.” With that, Adrell set one gold coin on the table by the old mans side, pulled his hood on and left.

He kenw he would hear a lot of bad talk about that, but he loved the old man like a grandfather and he just wanted the best for him. So he just smiled and kept on walking, her eyes darting to and fro at all of the sells spots. But soon enough he felt someone hit him. Her head jerked around to see a young black headed girl laying on the ground. Her wings were flat on the dirt under her, seeming to be all messed up from the fall. ”A lady should never have to apologize. I am sorry that I did not see you in time to catch you.” He smiled at the girl as he took her hand to help her up the rest of the way. ”I hope that you did not injury yourself in anyway. My name is… Addy.” He held her hand still and rose it to his lips where he touch her fingers ever so gently, almost a light brush like rose petals. As he stood back up his other hand came to rest on top of hers as he put her hand gently back to her side. ”I wish you well in sight as you walk.” She smiled again as he bowed to her, one hand on his stomach and the other on his back.

Eve watched him kiss her hand she looked confused at this contact, she usually didn’t get touched unless she was healing someone, and then she did the touching. When he asked about her being hurt she chuckled softly shaking her head. “I think if I was hurt it would matter little. I’m the town healer sir, I can easily fix it if anything happened.” the crowed seemed to be thinning ad she spread her wings out with a sigh, they had begun to cramp a bit. she tilted her head, the man spoke strangely and she didn’t know what it was or why. She made sure she still had her salves in her pockets and then smiled to the man. “was there something you were looking for…” she had to stop herself when she saw a young boy running over to her, she knew this boy he was a helper at the blacksmithy. She looked confused but knelt down. “eve its James, he fell and hit his head on the anvil…I think one of the guards pushed him when he refused to give him something for free. Please come fast he’s bleeding badly.” Eve’s eyes widened as she heard this, without thinking she ran from the man she was conversing with and followed the boy. She had just been there a few moments earlier, she knew the guards were stubborn but they hadn’t hurt someone like this in over a month and she had been happy for the reprieve

She skidded to a halt when she reached the old man lying unconscious on the ground. She cursed in faerie and went to move him slightly. “Get me some water and towels, I’m going to use my power but I can’t heal it fully like that.” she had used them to much that week. She closed her eyes and called forth the healing power inside her. The boy ran off to do as she asked. After a few moments the skin began to knit together and the blood stopped but she began to become dizzy and feel ill so she had to stop. She pulled out a thread and needle and dipped the needle in the scalding water, hurting her hand but she didn’t seem to notice. She moved his head and began to sew the rest of his wound shut. She knew he was regaining consciousness and so she finished and sat him up a little as he groaned. “You old fool, I told you not to antagonize them. now sit still while I bandage you, and this time I swear if you don’t stay in bed and rest I will come and undo what I did.” of course the man knew she couldn’t do such a thing but she was worried about him now.

Adrell smiled at the women. It was very obviously that she was not used to a man speaking to her like this, let alone a man or ever a normal person speaking like her was. And come to think of it he probably should have died down on it a little. He was being overly formal with her to the point she or something else who actually paid attention to the royals might actually catch of to the way of his speaking and end up figuring out who he was. If that were to happen he would surely be rated out unless he paid a fair amount of gold to keep them quit for a while. Yes, only a while. People of the streets were fare to greedy to just keep their mouth shut for ten gold pieces. No they would stay quit for a day and then ask for more or they would tell. So he stepped back from her and grinned. ”No, I’m not looking for anything. I’m just roaming about. This is actually my first time in the… this market.” That was a almost good save. He was messing up left and right. He really needed to get ahold of himself.

But it was not long until he was looking down at the little boy. His eyes widened as he spoke of the old man. No! he must have been working even after he told him not to. That damn old man. He growled as his eyes narrowed and he ran full of to the smithy. He barreled in through the door after the girl where she was mending his head. He was awake and that was good for Adrell but defiantly bad for the old man. He walked over to the man and threw his hood back revealing his face and horns down. His green hair was matted from the heat and his running. ”You idiotic old man! What did I tell you?! What?! I told you to just rest! Why can you not listen to me!?” His voice was like poison, almost a demonic tone to it. Sometimes the tone even scared his father. But he was angry. This man was so dear to him and now he was hurt. ”I don’t care if this women can heal you! I don’t! you should not have gotten yourself hurt in the first place.” He turned as he brought his hand down in a fist onto the small round table in the corner. The table split into to as splinter flew from it and landed in various places in the room. A cup that was on the table flew out of the window and smashed against the building beside them, the clay remains of it crumbling to dust on the ground.

Eve looked up as the man threw back his hood and began to yell. She didn’t like this or the look of the man. She rose to her feet and moved to block the view of the man from the yelling. “Don’t you dare yell at him. It isn’t his bloody fault that he got hurt if what I hear is true. It’s the bloody royal guards that are to blame and if this is your first time in this market which I highly doubt now, then you have absolutely no right to yell at this man who did absolutely nothing wrong.” As she yelled back violet tattoos began to appear and glow on the left side of her face and her arms. She didn’t know this was happening, and if she had known this was the prince she would have run for her life. Fae touched were rare and usually the royals would take them and hide them away making them work like dogs with whatever power they were given. Royals didn’t like fae, they liked being the only power and the fae were a higher power then even the royal family.

She spread her wings and glared at the man, she didn’t know him and right then she didn’t care to. She wanted to make sure the man was safe and not in serious danger of anything else. She looked to the boy. “Go run and tell avly to come and get James, he won’t be working for a week unless I say different.” She watched as the boy ran off afraid of her now. it was rare that her tattoos showed, they swirled and moved as if alive and if the towns people saw this they would all fear her. She put her hands on her hips and glared. “Now if you possibly can give me one damned good reason I don’t throw you out of here while I tend to him better.”

Now she had done it. True that she did not know that he was the prince, but she was also a women and she knew better as one then to speak to a men like such. He seemed to bow up as if he were to start a fight with another male. He did not do this to women but she was crossing the line. He knew what she was, and he would not stand her treating him like this. ”A women should know her place in this world.” His eyes narrowed at here as they turned from their usual green to a blood red. His pupils slit like a snakes as he clinched his hand, digging his extracting claws into his palms causing him to bleed. She had no idea what she was doing. But she would soon find out. If she wanted to speak like that to him, the he would let her regret every last word. He stepped towards her, his hand gripping onto the front of her dress as he picked up almost as if she were just a simple feather and set her down in a chair. There he placed her hands on the arm rests as his clamped his hands over her wrists and dug ins claws into the wood, making sure that she could not even budge his fingers, not like that was possibly anyway. She might have been gifted, but he was the first in the family for centuries to have inherited the full blood of his demon ancestors. This little women could not beat him, and she knew that. And if she did not, all she had to do was look in his eyes.

As he leaned down to her, his face only inches from his he seemed to hiss. ”Do not test me you pathetic women. This man is all but a father to me! I speak to him however I please!” His hand shook for a split second, jolting the chair and digging his nails into the wood farther. ”Who do you think you are to speak of my guards that way? If indeed they did hurt this man” He grinned, showing a few long sharpened teeth almost like a vampires. ”And I’ll give you a damn good reason.” He leaned close as he gripped the chair harder. ”But first, I want to know where you get the thought that you have the authority to speak to your Prince like that!” He jerked back, slamming the chair to the wall and ripping the arm rests to splinters. ”A women like you should watch your tongue in front of me! I can take you away! And if you ever speak like that to this man again, you prepared to live a life of s**t and pain!” With that he turned, slamming his hand on the side of the walkway, splintering it slightly before he sat a small bag of twenty gold pieces on the table. That should cover the damage he did. But now the boy. The boy was no were near being long go. She he grabbed the boy by the back of the shirt and pulled him up. ”Everything you heard of me will be kept a secret, understand? Now, don’t worry about going to fetch someone, I can handle this. Run along and play with your friends.” He smiled at the boy, trying to be nice, but it was hard not to scare him when he was being held three feet off the ground by a very angry demon. As he let the boy down he turned back inside and sat across the room, picking at a few of the splinters that had landed on another table that was still intact.

Terror flashed through her as she thought he was about to kill her. “I speak to him like that because he is like a father to me as well and unlike you he is the only family I have. As for your guards I speak of them like this because of all the hell they have put these people through. I have watched them beat a merchant almost to death and make him watch as they raped his wife because he refused to give his daughter to them.” she was afraid but she refused to be thought of as a lesser being just because she was female. She was terrified more than she ever had been as as he held her she felt her wrist snap, she couldn’t heal herself and she knew it. She cried out in pain. When he spoke of living in pain she laughed, it was a bitter laugh. “I live in hell and pain all my life prince.” She spat the word. “while you live in your fancy castle and are pampered like a dog I live down here with the guards who are meant to protect us decide to abuse and steal and do worse things than you can imagine. I spe4qak to men like an equal because down here in this place where I keep your p-people alive from things they should never have to deal with, people consider me an equal, if you want to be treated like a prince here then maybe stop hiding your bloody title from everyone.”

She held her now swelling wrist while she blinked back tears; she refused to cry in pain in front of this man. That’s when james stepped in, wobbly on his feet he got in between them. “I have accepted both of you not because of what you are but whom. I will not have you adrell harm a woman, one who just saved my life like that. And you eve I know your strong willed but stop it now, go to your house and tend that wrist, I even heard the bloody thing snap.” James swayed and sat down in a chair that wasn’t demolished. She sighed and walked to the man. She kissed his cheek and glared at the man, she walked passed him and out into the marketplace, she was pale and dizzy, she felt like she was going to fall. She had been using too much power and now she herself was hurt. She slowly headed into the crowd and towards her home; she was now starving but could do nothing to change it. james turned to adrel and glared. “I expect more from you then that. you do not treat a woman like that, especially one so kind hearted as her, she’s not fae touched for no reason, she has earned her power. Now go and apologize at least for breaking her wrist. She won’t be able to work properly now, and what she said was true about the guards…we need that girl more then she knows…” with that he closed his eyes and lost consciousness. Eve stumbled as she walked her vision fading on her but she tried hard to stay awake.

She was honestly pissing him off. Who did she think he was? Some damn rat? No! He was a prince. Her prince. And she would learn that the hard way if need be. But even as she seemed to spit the words in his face, the fact of him being a prince did not seem to faze her. That was a little annoying to her. "You will wish you never spoke to me like that. If you wish to keep your freedom then you will stop your foolishness." He spat his words right back at her as he stood. "I have never seen a guard of my do that, but if I do I will rip him limb to limb. I can promise you that. Speak ill of my guards, that is one thing, but speak ill of me that is another. I am not the one that gives them orders! My parents and the trainer gives them orders. After that, after they are in the market or town they do as they please." He hissed the words as she walked towards her weakened looking body. "As for my title, I have damn good reasons why I had who I am. And if you are smart you will not tell anyone." His eyes turned red again as he leaned towards her once more. "I'm stronger then you, and I know you can sence that. Do not test me little fea." And that was it. She was not walking off while the old man was scolding both of them. He honestly did not mean to hurt her like that, but he could not help it sometimes when his strenght seemed to leak out like that.

After she was gone from his sight he turned to take a rag and wrap it up. He dipped it in some of the boiling water, the overly hot liquid not evening burning his hand with a slight tingle. He rung the rag till it was just damp and let it cool before wrapping it around the mans head. He could see that it was still a little hot, but the old man smiled soon after. But his sharp words came quickly. His tongue was harsh, and the only man that was aloud to speak to him like that besides his own parents. He grumbled as he sat beside the man and sighed. "You can't blame me. I know that i have known you longer then that. You have been with me since birth." The man sighed, his being a little more agrivated. "I can blame you, but I can blame her as well. Just because she is a women does not not mean she has the right to yell, but you should not have been so harsh. She was only worried and you can in here yelling at me for being hurt. Now, you tell me Adrell, how does that make since?" With those words Adrell grummbed, glared and turned from the old man as he headed out he building. This was annoying. The old man was right. Adrell knew better, but so did the women. She just assumed and that pissed him off. But he sucked up his pride and looked this way and that before he caught the tip of her wing turning with her body and then dissapearing.

He sighed as he kicked off and ran at her. But she was gone by the time he turned the coner she had. He looked, once again, this way and that, not seeing her. But he did smell her. It was a sweet almost earth like scent that was very pleasing to him, and he was able to follow it easily. She was only a few huts down, which was where he stopped and knocked on the side of the opening when the door was left a jar. He poked his head in, his eyes darting across the room until he found her. He sighed as he pushed the door open and walked in. He did not need to be invited, he owned this land and everything in it. "I'm sorry." His voice was calm now, and he was actually trying. He walked to her as she seemed to wince in pain at her wrists. "I did not honestly mean to hurt you like this." He leaned down, his hand gripping onto her elbow only hard enough for her not to pull away, he knew that if he did not, she would most likely slap him or run. but he held firmly, and every so gently he raised her right hand to his lips as he kissed her wrists. There was a sickening popping sound as he bones seemed to reverse almost. No, reverse was exactly it. His eyes looked into hers now, the look gentle and kind as he took her other arm and held it gently as he kissed her other wrist, the bones popping and mending as well. "Time healing. It is not like what you do, where you just advance the healing, which can actually prove to be dangerous seeing as the bone maybe settled in the wrong way and heal badly, but instead, I reverse time on the wound. You are not the only one with... interesting abilities." He smiled at her as he knelt on one knee and bowed to her. "Again, I am sorry." He then reached into his cloak and pulled out the little bottle of perfume and held it up to her. "Please take this as a token of my apologies. It is the most lovely scent in my kingdom, and I am sure it would suit you royally."

She stumbled and soon found her way home. She didn’t bother to shut the door, only the guards would be coming in and she knew a door wouldn’t stop them anyway. She sat down on her couch, which was also a bed and then he was there again she sighed and closed her eyes, she listened to him speak and when he touched her she tried to pull away, she didn’t like being touched and then the pain seared through her as her bones popped back into place, it hurt really badly. She looked at him when he spoke of her healing. “I have been trained to set the bone before I heal it, and I cannot heal myself anyway so I would have been useless. And I cannot be useless for more than an hour in this hell hole.” She was tired, she spoke softly as if she didn’t have the strength to be angry anymore. She realized then that the prince was in her home, the smallest home in the village, not even having a bedroom. She didn’t let anyone into her home; few ever passed the threshold of it. she leaned back and pulled her arms away when she could. She opened her eyes when he spoke of the perfume and she shook her head. “Give it to whoever you’re courting. Perfumes become neutralized on my skin, its so the fae hounds can find me if they have to… thank you for helping my wrists but…please just leave, I really don’t feel like being called a lesser being by you.”

She was tired, she was hungry and she was hurt. She didn’t want to be there right then; she wanted to be out doing what she needed to be doing. Then she realized she had spoken of the fae hounds, humans were not supposed to know and royalty was even worse, a fae hound came into the village often to find her when one in the forest needed her. if the royals found out the fae would be in danger. She also really didn’t want him to look around and realized how poor she really was. She didn’t need to explain herself, she did what she did because she had to, she was the only healer around and the royals wouldn’t send another to help her, she had asked a few times but gotten no response. “don’t worry I won’t tell anyone who you are, and even if I did they wouldn’t believe me.” She leaned back her head back against the wall.

Who is to say how i live my life?
I'll be damned before you live my life for me!

And I promise that I shall rise above what you think I will never be.
Time will only tell.

He did not like being pushed away, but he also did like being thought of as a horribly person. Yes, he had a darker side to him, but he could also be kind and understanding when the time called for it. But never had he had to be this way for a women. It was no normal to him, and in order for her to actually trust him in the slightest, he would have to suck up all of his pride and be the gentalment that he was trained to be and that his parents used to force him to be. So he looked up at her with kind eyes as he listened to her words. She was a very intersteting women, seeing as she was fae blessed and now the hounds. Yes, surely if he was any other royal or a guard she would be taken from this place and brought to the palace to play the sad, dity and horrid role of slave for the remained of her life. That was something that a women like this did not deserve. But as he looked around he thought. Maybe if she was a slave she would actually be able to eat. He could tell she was poor. There was no food but a end of a loaf of bread that was probably stail and hard and now only good for rat food. She smiled at her as he stood once more to loom over her. Her ran a hand through his hair and over his horn as he thought. Well, she did not want the perfume, that was fine, he would offer her something else.

He tucked the beautiful liquid into his cloak once more before and walk over to knell at her side. ”My lady, you say such things like this to a young prince, yet I do not know of a women who would deny something that smelled so wonderful, even if it was she was a fea or one of the blessed. But if you ask for me to keep it for a lady I shall court, that is what I shall do. This perfume will be used only for that women, and that women alone. I shall keep it safe. But I still shall grant you a token of my apologise.” With that he stood and turned from her stopping at the door only to turn his head, look back at her, and say, ”I shall return with your gift. Please do not go anywhere, and if you do, I hope that when you return home that you will bask in what I have gifted you.” He smiled once more before turning again and vanising from the door. He was not going to give her gold, no, but something she seemed to need. She was so alone, and in a tiny house, no food, hadly any water and probably little money. Well, he would make her life better. If that was what he had to do to apologize then he would. He knew just what he wanted to get, the only problem was finding things that he thought she would like, but hopefully with a little help from someone he would be able to pick out just the right things.

So off he went into the market. His eyes were going this way and that at all the carts and stands that held mass amounts of food and other miscellaneous things. There were shouts from men and wemon trying to persuade him into buying their goods by telling him he would get something for free if he bought one thing first. But that would not work on him. He was a prince, and this prince had a lot of money on him. He was sure that he had a lot more money then all of these people had combined. So he was not worried about saving money. So he just went alone. Right now he was looking for that same booth he bought the perfume from. That women had been every nice, so maybe she could help him. Soon enough he was there and the women was smiling at him. She started to say something about the money but he held his hand up as if to say, it’s okay, keep it. ”I do have a question ma’am. I am trying to buy some goods for a girl I know. But I’m not sure what she would like to eat. She is, well, a fea touched, so I would think she would like things like fruits.” She women smiled as she nodded and ran inside. She brought out a scrap of parchment and a piece of lead where she began to write down a list. Soon she was handing it to him where he looked over it. Bread, milk, many fruits and vegetables and a ton of different fish. He smiled as he pulled out a silver coin and placed it in her hand as he kissed her cheek making her blush slightly. ”Thank you my lady, you have be a very kind person to me. May you be blessed.” With that he turned and began his search.

First he needed something to carry everything. That wasn’t hard. There was a man that had carts for sail. Staernge though, he thought that only carts were sold near the palace, but that was not something he was worried about. He handed the name a gold coin and took off with the cart before the man could give him change. She smiled as he took his first stop, vegetables. They would be okay sitting in the cart, but he did not want to get fish and milk first seeing as they would probably spoil in the long cart ride while he shopped. He looked at he food, plucking cabbage, raddishes, carrots and poptatoes and putting them into their own very large separate baskets. He handed the women some gold and rushed off once more. Next it was fruits. He wanted to find the best stand. Most of them only had the basic apples and oranges, no, he wanted more then those. And to his surprise he found just what he was looking for. He smiled happily as he pours tons of apples into the cart and then came watermellons and then some star fruit, along with oranges, bannanas and even some coconuts. He grabbed some kiwi to, throwing the overly large amount of food into his cart as he handed the man five gold coins. This mans eyes were wide and watering as he leanded down to his son and huged him. ”This man is a God sent man son… thank you sir.” He smiled at the man and rubbed the boys head as he turned once more and headed for the first. He thought that the fish would last longer then milk so that would be his best bet first.

He did not want just any fish, he wanted it freash, and where else better to get it then the fish market at the docks. Yes, it would be a little more expensive, but it would also be larger and most flavorful. So his short walk was just fine with him. And as he stopped in there, he looked left and right at all the fish. He looked at the list where all the fish were listed. So he was looking for samon and tuna first. That was easy. Everyone sold that, so he quickly bought the best and largest of the fish, had them wrapped and placed under a blanket in his cart. Next was carp. He rolled over to the next place where the man offered him buy one get one, but he just shook his head and waved his hand, taking only what he needed and handed the man a few gold coins. He smiled, nodded and was on his way again. As he was leaving the fish market he stopped. He saw a fish that he had never seen before. And as he looked at it a man walked up to him. ”That there is a swordfish my boy. The largest I have ever caught. And here I have shark. It’s a little tough, but they are very good for you and feed you for a long while. I’ll see it for you for two silver if you are interested.” Adrell looked at it, his hand running over the skin. It was not scaled like the fish and it looked a lot more meaty but he would get it. It was not on the list, but this man was the only one selling something like this, so it was proably rare. So Adrell loaded the swordfish and the nameless shark into his cart, handed the man a gold coin and rushed off.

Last stop was milk. He knew that it would probably be somewhere in the shade, and he was right. He stopped to see an old women that was standing beside a cow. She seemed a little old and frail, so he walked up to her with his voice gentle and kind. ”Good afternoon, ma’am. I am looking for some very good milk, I hope that you can help me.” The women turned to him, and smiled gently as she nodded and leanded down to milk the cow. Adrell placed his hand on the cow as it turned its head and pressed it’s nose into his hand. Starnge really, but he guessed it was because he had horns like a bull. She chuckled gently at the animle and smiled at the women as she gave him some milk only for him to ask for more. He wanted just a tad more, not much because he did not want her to not drink it fast enough and it to just spoil. So the old women leanded down once more, miled for a tad longer and handed him some where while he handed her a few coins and walked off. The only thing he wanted now was the grab some water. It was not on the list, but he knew that water was needed. So he simply stopped at the well, pulled up some water and put it into the cart before running off to her hut again. Once there he rolled the cart around to the back of her house were the shade was and pushed the cart in through the side, letting it rest in her kitchen. He walked over to her, happy to see that she was still there and smiled. ”I have come with many blessings. Please be mery with what I have brought you.” With that, he bowed and turned. He did not want to stay long enough for her to scold him about what he brought. But stopped and smiled. ”If you need me, you can find me.” He them place something on the table. It was a gear. A gear that you would find in a clock. Strange really, but it had powers that would help her fine him. And then he was gone, walking about the market once more.

Eve couldn’t figure this guy out, first he breaks her wrist then he starts being nice to her, she didn’t trust him one bit and probably never would. She closed her eyes and lay down as she watched him leave, she felt so tired and heavy, closing her eyes she felt something, it was light a warm spring breeze and it washed over her like magic and she began to feel better. She opened her eyes and looked around but she saw no one, she knew the feel of magic though and knew it was remmy, her guardian…well sort of, he was the fae who had touched her as a child. He gave her the powers she now held because she saved him. Seeing no one she went back and laid down waiting. It wasn’t long after that she heard the princes voice again, she opened her eyes and gasped at the huge amount of food, there was everything there she would be eating like a queen for a week if she kept it all, which she would probably not do, there were others who needed the food just as much as she did and she would share with them. She was going to yell at him for the charity since she hated charity but then he was gone and she was not sure what to do at this point. She went and unpacked the cart and then went and lie down for a little nap.

Outside the house stood a large fae man, at his side were two fae hounds. He had come running when he felt the pain in his wrists; he knew his child, as he called her, was hurt and so he had come to help her in need. Then he saw the prince, he felt the pain leave her but not the fatigue of her powers, he fixed that himself as he stayed hidden from her. Anger flashed through him as he watched the prince within the house. When the man left remmy followed him through the market place, he made it so only the prince would see him and soon the hounds surrounded the prince so he couldn’t go anywhere and remmy stopped forward. “You were the one who hurt my child; I have come to demand why a man such as yourself, a prince no less would harm a woman in such a manner. I have also come to ask what your business was in her private dwelling and with her, if you intend any harm to her I will destroy you here and now.” the fae was strong power wafted off of him and the hounds growled at him.

Back in the castle the woman he was supposed to meet and court had fallen into sudden hysterics and fever, no healer within knew what to do or how to heal it so the guards spoke of a woman in the village with strange healing powers, the king ordered them to fetch her. Four large palace guards smiled as they headed through the marketplace towards her home. They passed the prince not knowing it was him as they were focused on the task at hand. They walked into the house without an invite and looked at the sleeping girl. one kicked the couch and woke eve with a start, she looked at the guards frantically terrified the prince had sent them on her. “You have been ordered to the castle, your skills are needed urgently. And once the king see's your fae born you wont be going anywhere.” Even was scared, she didn’t understand and one of the guards grabbed her. The others looked around her home and seeing all the new food they turned back to her. “And the king will be informed of your theft, we know you make little to no money and cannot afford this, unless you explain you will be charged with theft. Even didn’t speak as they began to drag her from the house.

Kane olivander

The castle was buzzing, a new woman was coming and one there had fallen ill from some unknown illness and a healer had been sent for. In a secluded room was a man with long light purple hair stood staring out the window with a smirk, his plan was working and soon he would destroy the demons and their throne. The dark fae would take over and the summer fae would rule beside them on the other half of the kingdom. The man had violet and black wings sticking out of his back and when a knock on the door sounded the wings seemed to vanish from sight. He turned and smoothed down his white shirt and made sure all but his face tattoo was hidden from sight. The servant came in and told him the woman would be arriving and he should go and meet her. He nodded and thanked the woman and followed her out. Kane the guard to the dark fae prince was there in order to drive the demons out of power, the prince king and queen, well everyone thought he was a dignitary from another kingdom and so he did many things he would never do. he ran a hand through his hair and as he walked he tied it back in the black ribbon that had been around his wrist. He tied it back out of his face, a thing he hated to do but did anyway. His golden eyes watched the humans run around like chickens, he wondered who this healer was they had sent for; he hoped it wasn’t the summer fae touched woman he knew lived in the village.

He walked down the halls his boots making little to no noise, he walked down into the courtyard and grumbled about the sunlight, his kind were normally nocturnal but he had changed his ways for this assignment. He wondered about this woman, she was probably some lowly human who wanted fame and power, he hated people like that, his own kind rarely did such things, their lives were so long it didn’t really matter, even their royalty weren’t as bad as these were. Kane walked to the front steps and stood in a soldier’s at ease stance as he waited for the carriage or horses or whatever the woman was coming in on to arrive. The sun beat down on him as he stood there. Others walked around him to get ready and a few stable boys waited to do their jobs. Kane wanted to role his eyes as he stood there.
