Dexter mumbled something about 'monster sounding like profiling and racisim'. He finished drying his hair, then floped backwards on to the bed, droping the towel onto the bed next to him.

Sable glanced over at him. His eye twitched. "You uhh.. ARE gonna pick that up... right?"

"No..." Dexter said plainly. He turned over, laying down on his stomach on his bed. he closed his eyes, "Why?"

Sable lifted an eyebrow. "You're just gonna lay there.. and leave it. On the floor. Of my room..?" His tone had a very "Are you freakin' serious?" sound to it.

"Our room..." Dexter corrected, "And yes.. it is on the floor.. and i'm just going to lay here...." Dexter was still laying on his stomach on his bed, shirtless, and now half asleep.

"MY room," Sable corrected again. "I'm older and therefore have senority and THEREFORE it is mine," he explained using the same logic his older brother uses on him and he uses on his younger sisters. Freshman had to be taught their place. It was practically a rule. "And I don't want clothes just laying around in MY room.. which YOU just so happen to be inhabiting," he added bitterly.

Dexter didn't reply to this, except with a small snore. He was already asleep, the clothes still on the floor.

Sable sighed, annoyed. This one would be stubborn- he could tell. Rolling over on his bed, he set his glasses off to the side. He let his eyelids drop. It took some time, but finally, his breath slowed and a slow snore came from him...

Dexter rolled over, getting under the covers. He continued to toss and turn for the next 30 minutes, snoring quiet a bit. A few times, he would move and the headboard of his bed would make a loud noise against the wall. Dexter was tangled in the blanket from so much rolling. he was still breathing softly, dead asleep.

Sable dreamed something of being a heroic god on a cloud, looking down apon his worshippers and reigning fire on those who dare oppose him. This dream caused his real self to smile. He liked being in control. He liked being.. on top.

There was a rather loud crash from Dex's side of the room. He was now laying on the floor, the blanket half around him, and stil half on the bed. most of Dexter was hidden by the blacket that was hangin off the bed, but one of his arms stuck out from under it, and half of his foot, both were tinted slightly green again.

Sable sat up straight in bed, his eyes flung open in surprise. Jumping out his bed, he rushed to where Dex had fallen to see what had happened. If that kid was trying any funny buisness he'd...

Dexter was still asleep. he rolled over, snoring a bit more. He seemed to kick at the blanket, pushing it off of one green-skinned leg, and wrapping it around the other. The rest of the blanket slipped off the bed, falling into a small heap on the floor.

Sable shool his head. Seriously?
Running his hands through his hair and massaging his temples at the same time he skulked back to his bed and lay back on it. Soon enough, they'd be calling for opening ceremonies anyways... he hoped.

"Last night I lay in bed looking up at the stars in the sky and I thought to myself, where the heck is the ceiling. "

Dexter moved a bit more, reaching out, there was a noise as his hand hit the bed. He got up blindly, draging the blanket with him, then flopped back onto the bed, resuming his slumber. After 2 more minutes, the blanket ended up in a heap near Dexters feet, and he was laying on his stomach.

Even in the flow of time, we have forgotten how to forget.
