Claire nodded and looked at Gwen. "If you take him inside, I'll look for the rock and meet up with you two later..." she offered. It's not like carrying a big rock by herself would be.. you know.. DIFFICULT..

Gwen put her hand on her hip and looked at Claire, "Claire, No offence, but, You're TINY. You'd never be able to lift up a large rock..." Oh, Silly Gwen, If only you knew. "Why don't I look for the rock?" She smiled a bit.

Dexter was all for that idea. He didn't want to be alone for Gwen for several reasons. Plus, It was easier to talk to Claire then Gwen. Gwen was... scary. Then again, He felt fine, he didn't WANT to go inside. He wanted to stay outside, and watch the butterflies.

Claire opened her mouth to correct Gwen, but changed her mind. No point in drawing attention to herself.. or revealing herself right now... Instead, she nodded. "Dexter, do you want to go inside now?" she asked.

Dexter looked at Claire, "But... I wanna watch the butterflies..." he said.

Gwen shook her head, "He's delusional."

Dexter scrunched up his noes, "Am not. They're just pretty." He mummbled. He then looked back up at them.

Claire laughed. "Ok... tell you what.. you can watch the butterflies and Gwen and I will get the rock.. But..." She tilted her head. "...if you start to feel sick, promise me you'll go inside, ok? We don't want you to pass out or anything..."

Dexter nodded quickly, sitting down on the ground and staring up at the butterflies. His eyes followed them in their continues circles above his head.

Gwen looked at Claire. "Is he alright?" She whispered.

Claire shrugged. She didn't understand boys... especially faerie boys.. "Come on.." she said to Gwen. "Lets go find that rock..." She then led the way from under the vine curtain she created.

Gwen ducked under the vines also, following after Claire. "I wonder why he's so interested in those butterflies... I mean, sure they're pretty and stuff, but like... He was absorbed in them... Talk about likeing nature a bit to much." She nodded a bit.


Dexter leaned back on his hands, watching the butterflies. There was nothing wrong with him, He'd just never seen so many butterflies in one spot. Butterflies were high on his list of things he liked, a close second. Flowers being first on the list (duh XD). He flopped backwards, laying down in the grass.

Claire smiled and nodded, then, without really thinking blurted out, "I have a feeling that I know why..." What with Dexter being a faerie and all, he probably really likes flowers and butterflies and nature-y stuff like that.

Gwen looked at Claire, "Really? What do you think it is?" She asked curiously. She was still convinced that Claire and Dexter were dating, but, she didn't saying anything about that at the moment. She wanted to know Claire's theory first.

Claire felt her eyes widen in a moment of, 'Oh wait! Wasn't that supposed to be a secret? Oops...' Clearing her throat awkwardly, she said, "Y-you know... he's a.. uhm.. nature-loving.. type.. guy... thing..." I should be worth pointing out that Claire still wasn't technically lying...

Gwen raised an eyebrow, placing her hands on her hips, "Claire, ... Did you just call him a 'thing'?" She asked.


Dexter would like to point out that he isn't a thing. He thinks. Oh well, Look, pretty butterfly!~

Claire let out an awkward laugh and stammed, "Heheh.. well.. uhm... OH! Look a rock!" She pointed to a fairly large sized boulder and rushed over to it. "This is big enough, right?"

Gwen looked at the rock, "Hmm... I think it'd be perfect!" She said, smiling. She walked over to it with Claire, examining the large boulder.

"Alright then!" Claire said cheerfully. "Let's move it to the entrance!" Kneeling down, she dug her fingers into the dirt beneath the rock. For a few seconds, she paused and found a good grip.. and then.. in one swift motion, grunted and lifted the rock out of the ground! Holding it above herself, she motioned with her head toward the direction of the Secret Place and made her way in that direction.
