Sable growled. He'd had ENOUGH Neo for one day. "I'M NOT YOUR BUDDY!! And get OFF of me! I already told you- you're HEAVY." At this point, he was squirming to get out from under Neo. He WAS offly heavy. Muscle weighs alot. Not that Sable would understand.

~

Claire shrugged a but and turned back to the line. They were almost to the front.
Neo pouted, "I'm not fat." He said. With that, he unfolded his arms and put them on either side of Sable, pushing him self up onto his knees from there standing up. Reaching down, Neo grabbed both of Sable's arms and then lifted him up. "And, You shouldn't say untrue things, that's mean. Lying is bad. People get time-outs for lying." Neo brushed off Sable's shoulders, as if brushing away imaginary dirt. Neo paused, "Uh, Sable, You know, you have like, uh, this really weird peice of hair that, uh.. sticks up?"

~

Dexter shuffled forward akwardly. Maybe he could tell them that he wasn't hungry, and then get out of line? ... No that wouldn't work, he was infact a bit hungry... maybe if he said that he wasn't very hungry... no that wouldn't do either, cause then he would be told 'well, you don't have to get alot of food, you can just get something small to eat'. Dexter inwardly sighed.
Sable blinked, and sighed. "Yeah. I know." God. He was like an older, weirder version of Dexter. PERFECT.

~

Claire stepped into the kitchen area, grabbed her tray again, and examined the food. There were a few of the same choices from lunch but also a new dinner selection. She wondered what to choose and wished she'd thought of it while she waited in line..
Dexter shuffled in behind Claire and picked up a tray also. He wished that they'd just have, you know, a fresh salad or something to eat. You'd think that they would have SOMETHING set out for the people who couldn't eat normal food, right?

Gwen twirled her tray back and forth in her hands as she looked at the food. She decided on a glazed salmon, with snow peas and some rice on on the side. It looked pretty nice.

~

Neo nodded, "Okay, just making sure you knew..." With that, Neo threw his arm around Sable's shoulders again, "Off to dinner now.." He said, basically draging Sable behind him.
Claire finally gave up and picked up some sort of meat (was it beef or fish? She couldn't tell) covered in leafy greens and a small salad on the side. It looked and smelled good so she figured she could do worse.

~

Sable rolled his eyes. He hated being this close to Neo.. but it could have been worse. Once they got to the cafeteria, he'd try to ditch him...
Neo began humming, then stopped suddenly, "HEY, Sable, Your in CHOIR right?" he asked.

~

Dexter looked at the food, it all smelt... horrible. Truely, horrible. He picked up a plate that he assumed was some sort of noddles with different veggies mixed in with sause drizzled on top but.... it just smelt like dirt to him. And the noddles looked a bit like worms. But now that Dexter thought about it, dirt wasn't that bad... and he was sure worms would taste better then this stuff.
Sable blinked. What was this guy- some kind of stalker? How did HE know that?? "Yeah.... why?"

~

After making her way out of the kitchen area, Claire stated around the cafeteria, uneasily searching for an empty table to sit at. The last time they sat at an almost-empty table.. well......
Things did not go well.
Gwen looked around, then pointed, "Hey, there's an empty table.." Then she procced to walk tword it, not even waiting for Dexter and Claire's response about the table.

Dexter looked at Claire, "Uh.. i gues.. uhm, we should follow her?" he asked.

~

Neo nodded, "okay, okay.... and.. what period do you HAVE said choir?" Neo looked at Sable.
Claire smiled a bit. "I guess so..." And with that, she went to the table Gwen had specified and sat down.

~

Sable was starting to wonder if he should lie... No.. Neo would probably find out later and then he'd never hear the end of it. "Second..." he mumbled.
Neo nodded, "Okay... Just wondering..." He said, grinning again. They were at the cafeteria.

~

Dexter followed. He sat down in the seat that was sort of between Gwen and Claire at the round table. He glanced around the cafeteria, wondering slightly where Sable was.. he hadn't seen him except for in class.. then again, he never did go back to his room... so Sable might be there. Dexter also noticed the absences of KR, unless he was just hidden somewhere... that sounds like something KR would do... hide under a table and spy on people.
Sable wanted to ask why but at this point, he was too tired to care. Slipping out of Neo's grip, he doged through a few groups of people and headed to the far line.

Claire started on her food- which was incredibly deliscious. Just as she was beginning to think everything was going to be quiet and peaceful for once- sure enough- a spitball came flying past her, nailing Gwen right in the middle of the forehead.

A few laughs came from an all-too-familiar crew.
Gwen twitched a bit. She wipped the spit ball away, then continued to eat.

Dexter looked up, confuised, "Uhm..... what was that?" He asked.

Gwen glared a bit, "Nothing. Geez.." She said, then began to eat.

Dexter scooted his chair slightly to the side. Worried that Gwen would snap or something. The image of her beating up those seniors came vividly into Dexter's mind, causing a very small shiver to run down his spin. Dexter was holding his fork, pushing the food around on his plate.
Another spitball went flying, this one barely missing Gwen's head. A chorus of boo's called from the table.

Claire shivered. She KNEW who it was.. but said nothing. Instead, she focused on Dexter. If her suspiscions were real.. she'd hate herself for doing this. But she needed to know. "Aren't you going to eat?" Claire asked him.
Dexter looked up quickly, "What..?" Dexter began to panic in the inside a bit. Why did girls always ask him to eat in front of them? Why couldn't they just... tell themselfs he took a bite why they were looking down?!

Gwen looked over at Dexter, "You shouldn't waste food you know, besides, food here is really good..." She said, then took another bite of food. She paid no attention to the spitballs.

Dexter shifted nervously in his chair, "Uh.. right.... uhm.... " Dexter pushed his fork threw the noodles, scooping a few onto the fork. Dexter raised the fork up, forcing himself to lean forward and put it into his mouth. Dexter tried to chew it, to seem normal, but he could already feel his stomach turn unpleaslently, and he almost spit it back out and threw up right there... but instead he swallowed it.
Claire watched him intently, examining every single movement he made. She wished she could scan him.. but there was no discreet way to use her eye scanner. Either the food tasted horrible...
.....or he was a faery.

Another spitball pegged Gwen's cheek. More high-fiving ensued.
