AFter a few minutes, the blonde returned. "how do you guys like your coffee?"

[Princess Noshwash]

The two men looked up at the blonde who entered and stopped their conversation.
"With milk and one sugar, please," Maes returned warmly. Roy's gaze had dropped back to the ground and he remained slouched forward and unanswering.

[Teddy Bearr x3]

Jean sighed and looked to Maes.

[Princess Noshwash]

Maes looked sadly back at the blonde then went to speak but Roy beat him to it. "I don't want any. I should just go..."

[Teddy Bearr x3]

Jean shook his head. "Don't go, sir."

[Princess Noshwash]

"But you two are on a...date...or whatever...I'll just go back home an' see what happens..." Maes looked at the man sadly.
"Roy, we want you here. If something's wrong, we both want to help you, right?" he asked, looking up to Jean.

[Teddy Bearr x3]

Jean smiled sadly and nodded. "That's right... Even if Maes and I are together, that doesn't change the fact that we're your friends."

[Princess Noshwash]

Roy tensed and remained silent for a few seconds before making an attempt at standing up. "I'll go," he said decidedly and managed to get onto his feet, only stumbling slightly.

Jean sighed and sat him back down. "Stay, Roy."

[Princess Noshwash]

Roy fell back into the chair then frowned. "I don't want to stay!" he yelled, suddenly quite irate.

Jean's eyes widened and he took a step back from the man.

Maes frowned. "Roy, calm down," he spoke gently and rested a hand upon his friend's shoulder, but it was merely shrugged off.
"Why don't you calm down, Maes?!" he retorted.

"Roy, please..."

[Princess Noshwash]

Roy fell quiet then leaned back in the chair and looked away from both men. "I jus'...I dunno..."

Jean sighed heavily and watched him quietly.
