[Princess Noshwash]

"Want a ride?" offered Maes as he began fastening his trousers.

[Teddy Bearr x3]

"I'd appreciate it," the blonde smiled as he got up, then got dressed.

[Princess Noshwash]

"Sure, then," he responded as a knock came at the door. "I'll go and get that. I'll give you another minute or so to get dressed and stuff," he said as he grabbed his shirt and slipped it on.

[Teddy Bearr x3]

The blonde smiled and nodded as he pulled on his boxers and trousers. "Alright."

[Princess Noshwash]

Maes smiled then left the room to answer the door. Conversing voices muttered outside before an inebriated man entered the living room followed by his bespectacled best friend.

Jean blinked and looked up to the two.

[Princess Noshwash]

"Ah, I forgot you'd be 'ere," Roy slurred when he clocked the man. Maes sighed heavily.
"Roy, come into the kitchen," the older spoke softly, to which Roy shook his head.
"Noo...I'll go...I'm interruptin'. I'll jus' go somewhere else...where."
"You're not interrupting anything," Maes assured his friend, looking up to Jean with an apologetic look. "Just come to the kitchen so we can sit and talk, okay?"

Jean smiled sadly and shook his head. "I'll just go," he mouthed.

[Princess Noshwash]

Maes shook his head slightly at the man as Roy spoke again."No, I'll leave so that you two can...yeah. I don' mind..."
Maes sighed. "Did something happen, Roy?"
"No...well, yeah, but not really."

Jean looked to Roy sadly. "What happened?"

[Princess Noshwash]

"Bein' happily married ain't going so well so far...that's all..."

[Teddy Bearr x3]

Jean bit his lip.

Both men were silent for a few seconds before Roy started. "Anyway, I'mma go, so sorry..."
"No, Roy," Maes sighed. "Look, come into the kitchen and the three of us can sit and talk over a coffee."

Jean smiled sadly. "I'll go make it," he said softly before going into the kitchen.

"You don' have to...!" Roy called weakly after the man as he left then sighed before dropping himself unceremoniously into a sofa.
