Maes looked at Jean sadly. "Y'should be happy 'bout it!"

[Teddy Bearr x3]

"I-I am..."

[Princess Noshwash]

Maes placed his forehead in his palm and rubbed it vigorously. "Nah...I shouldn't've acted like that...I jus'..."

[Teddy Bearr x3]

"It's fine, Maes..."

[Princess Noshwash]

Maes sighed. "I'm drunk... 'fact, I prob'bly shouldn't even try drivin' 'ome tonight..."

[Teddy Bearr x3]

"I can' either... Maybe we shou' try t' get a 'otel."

[Princess Noshwash]

"Sounds goooooooooooood," Maes grinned. "Wanna go now then?"

Jean nodded slightly.

[Princess Noshwash]

Maes pouted as he stood up. "You're grumpy. Stop it...Roy ge's grumpy an' I'm tryin' ta forget 'im."

Jean looked up at him, confused. "Bu' I'm no' grumpy..."

[Princess Noshwash]

"Then be 'appier! Mkay?" Maes instructed then beamed again.

Jean smiled weakly as he stood up as well. Luckily Unfortunately, he stumbled slightly and fell into Maes' chest.

Maes caught the man on instinct and happened to fall backwards onto the floor, still holding the blonde in his arms.

Jean blushed and looked up at him quietly.

Maes looked back down at the man with a blush yet impromptu common sense was no longer a part of of the machinations and workings of his mind while under the influence of alcohol. He continued starting down at the man and held him, not knowing what else to do.
