Maes had agreed with the blonde before finishing his drink. He'd ordered one after the other following that, not keeping track of just how many he was drinking until he could consume no more.
"...Y'know, there's 'nother reason I'm kinda upset..."

Jean, cheeks slightly flushed from the amount of alcohol he had consumed, looked at the man. "Wha's that?"

[Princess Noshwash]

"...'Cause I'm kinda 'nnoyed." He stopped to drain the finished glass of its contents, for what it worth, then placed it back down. "Roy broke up with me...then he goes and gets married to Riza...'Snot really fair..."

[Teddy Bearr x3]

The blonde frowned lightly. "...Y're gay?" he asked after drinking another glass.

Maes shook his head vigorously. "Had girlfriends before...'Fact, Roy's th'only guy I ever thought of that way...You're the one girls call 'fem'nine' anyway."

Jean bit his lip and looked down at the empty glass. "'S not m'fault... I jus' don' find girls tha' 'ppealing 'nymore..."

"It was always easier when I's going out with Roy...Y'know girls are always wantin' gifts 'nd stuff, but it's easy to know what a guy wants when you are one."

Jean blushed and looked up at Maes quietly.

Maes looked back at Jean and traced the rim of his glass with his fingertip, slipping often. "Y'ever been with a guy? Or thought of it? Or kissed one?"

The young blonde shook his head slightly. "I-I mean, I've though' 'bout it..."

"With who then?" Maes pried.

Jean's blush deepened as he averted his eyes. "Doesn't matter."

[Princess Noshwash]

"Nooo," Maes complained and gripped the blonde's shoulder. "Y'can tell me, I won't tell anyone else. Promise. I just want you to have someone to talk to 'bout these things..."

Jean's blush deepened even more as he looked up at Maes.
