Jean sighed heavily and walked with him. "Where are we going?"

"Just on patrol. What's wrong?" Roy asked responded vaguely.

Jean bit his lip and shook his head in return.

[Princess Noshwash]

"Don't try and tell me nothing's wrong," Roy frowned then stopped walking.

Jean looked up to the man. "Just...relationship problems."

"Something wrong between you and Melissa?" Roy asked curiously.

"...She's all tied up at work, and might not be able to be with me for our anniversary..."

"...Ah. Her job is often pretty busy, though...It's not really her fault."

"I...I just wish she'd try to come home once in a while..."

Roy sighed and nodded as he started walking again. "It's not like her not to try though, is it?"

Jean bit his lip and followed him wordlessly.
