Jean blushed lightly an looked up at him with a faint smile. "I...I don't know."

[Princess Noshwash]

Maes scratched his head nervously. "How about...you and I get dinner maybe tonight or something then? Give us a chance to work this out?"

Jean's smile widened. "That sounds wonderful, Maes," he said softly.

[Princess Noshwash]

Maes smiled relievedly. "Good...good! So...until then, I think we should sort everything out that's happened...try and remember what we can and whether we did anything...illegal or how much we spent or owe. It wouldn't be the first time for me," he laughed nervously, afraid he had done something which would be troublesome to him.

Jean smiled and nodded before wrapping his arms around Maes' bare chest. "Alright."

Maes smiled back and placed his hands upon Jean's back.

Jean blushed and giggled lightly. "Do you have a hangover?" he asked softly.

Maes sighed and took his arms from around the man. "Yeah, do you?" he asked as he moved to the edge of the bed, but when he sat heavily and heard a crunch from beneath the crumpled sheets, he grimaced. "...Please don't tell me that was what I think it was."

Jean paled. "...Glasses?"

Maes stood up again and pulled back the covers to reveal the two splintered lenses and warped frame which made up his glasses. "Damn it," he sighed and cradled them in his hands as he sat down again.

Jean sighed and sat down next to him. "Do you have another pair at home?" the blonde asked quietly.

Maes nodded his head. "Yeah, but they're old so the lenses aren't quite tailored for my sight now, but they should do me until I can get some more."

The blonde smiled sadly. "If you want, I could help you around until you get a new pair."

[Princess Noshwash]

Maes smiled and shook his head. "It's fine. I'll get by...but I might need a lift home, is all. I can't drive without glasses, that I'm sure of."

Jean's smile widened as he pecked Maes' cheek.
