Welcome to Gaia! ::

Azel thought about it some more. She made a compelling argument, well... at least to him. All she really needed was her looks to make him agree to something. As his risky attitude didn't fail to get him in a lot of trouble as it was. "Ten years...Hhmmm, not bad." He repeated, thinking deeper to himself. What she said sort of made him unsure of it. There had to be reason no one would've taken it by now. Maybe no one had thought about it until now? Hmm, maybe there was more to this woman than he thought. Naw, couldn't be. No way such a hot lady would be untrustworthy or so he thought.

Azel rolled his blue eyes around thinking what to say, but her offer was only getting better and better. As she moved close to him he had no choice but to agree. It was about time he got more out of the deal than he gave. "Fine, I've been needing gil anyway. Play your cards right and you can be my first mate." He said, speaking of something she probably didn't understand and not stopping to explain it. "So, lead the way." He spoke as he peeled his back from the wall and grabbed his jeweled scimitar. Placing it on his hip he stretched his limber body and prepared for whatever went ahead of them. Having a certain suspicion that at the end of the day, they'd be showing up at the same place.

The raven-haired young woman was walking peacefully with her white chocobo, Jinx, at her side. She didn't expect anyone to come up to her, most people avoiding her unless she was had set up a temporary 'shop' for people to have their fortunes read. This usually consisted of just her finding a crate and draping a decoratve blanket over it, putting a sign next to it. Surprisingly it was quite easy for people to believe you could predict the feature when you looked the way Tomoko did and spoke like her, misleading really.

Turning slowly to face the man, a hand still holding onto Jinx's reigns, she looked at him with wide curious eyes, wondering who could possibly be talking to her. She stared at him blankly for a moment, just studying him while she blinked a few times, taking him in. The man didn't look like he was from Cryth, in fact, he looked like she was from Sai-Zhin like she was. He wore dark metal armor and just...had the same feel as those in Sai-Zhin had. It was hard to explain, but he just felt like they were from the same place. He asked his question and it was unfortunate that they were from the same place because there was no way that Tomoko could help him. She too was trying to find a meal and she was disappointed that she couldn't give him any good advice or information.

Bowing apologetically, Tomoko folded her hands in her lap with the reigns still attached, the Chocobo not having much room to move his head now with the reigns being that taut. "I am sorry Sir, but I am not from Cryth." She said, her voice gentle and whimsical sounding, smooth and perfect for when she read her fortunes. Raising her head, she looked at him, the Chocobo relieved to have some more room to move it's neck. It craned it's neck left and right, stretching it now that it had the freedom to do so. "If you would like, I am looking for someplace inexpensive to eat as well. Perhaps we can help one another?" She asked, tilting her head slightly and giving him a small, welcoming smile. She actually had no idea that the man already knew that she was searching for someplace to eat, having overheard her conversation with the chocobo.

If people were actually given the chance to talk to Tomoko outside of a tarot reading, she was probably the least intimdating person you would meet outside of her dark attire and overall appearance. The young woman was nothing but sweet and polite, even to those whom she had just met. It was just in her nature and her mothers taught her to be respectful and to always mind her manners, even if the favor was not returned. Another thing that Tomoko was taught, was to give your name before expecting someone to give you theirs.

"My name is Tomoko Okasawa, Sir" She said, bowing her head once again much to the Chocobo's dismay who was getting hungrier by the minute. Tomoko realised this and stood up straight again, gently stroking the Chocobo's soft white feathers on it's face with her long slender fingers. Most of them had a silver ring on it, over the fingerless gloves that covered her smooth pale skin.
Good, that was probably the best thing she heard all day. Honestly, sleeping anywhere right now didn't bother the girl, after all, when you grew up finding just a newspaper and a bench to be a good place to sleep in a cold, rainy day, you learned not to complain about where you slept. And at the moment, even the rocky base of the volcano known as Mt. Pheara seemed comfortable, so long as she had some food in her stomach.

User ImageSeraphim was a girl of simple tastes, often striving for protection at times, but overall, just wanting things to go her way. And if it didn't, she often let her fists do the fixing or arranging things to be how she wanted it to. She didn't care who she had to hurt or break, to her, such a thing was simply a form of entertainment. But right now, she was too tired to even care about such things, and wasn't picky. With Alison anyway, she had learned to be a bit more flexible in her preferences, and just felt more laid back since she barely had much free time to begin with. Thus, here she was, barely awake after a massive double-shift, covered in dirt, her crimson eye half open, standing over a pan that had batter in it over an open flame, nearly just falling face first into it as she felt like she could have fallen asleep right here.

God she hated every moment of this. Maybe she'd be more comfortable in prison? Three meals a day, a bed and shelter, a place to have all the fights she wanted. Not so bad if you asked her. But... she wouldn't have a good friend by her side, and that was what shrugged away such a thought for Seraphim. Truth be told anyway, even though she was practically a slave to her work, she longed for freedom. She wanted to grow wings and break away from this tormenting life and just go somewhere that she didn't need to care about anything else except for joy.

'Heh... I'm really starting to sound pathetic.' Her thoughts were interrupted, as was her tired state when the door was knocked on, putting her back into a more aware state, blinking a few times as she looked around. "Er... Alison? Can you get that?" She asked with a dumbfounded look on her face, wondering who would want to see this Hell-hole of a place. Unless it was.... 'Nah.. couldn't be.'

[NPC - Fathia]

Fathia's grin quirked from the corner of her lips, a shine in her orange eyes that resembled a beautiful topaz, that same sparkle that caught Azel's attention yesterday when they first met. Honestly, she was really excited about this, she knew she couldn't have done this on her own. And with Azel, she had an honest, fair shot at this all. "Well then, sounds like it's a date then~" She chimed, taking a brief look at herself in the mirror, her lips briefly moving to the words 'Damn I look good' before she stretched her arms up, giving Azel a nice view.

"Oh, by the way, with as many jewels as you had in that sword of yours, I would have thought you had an emerald stud in your peeps." She commented with a lighthearted laugh, seeming to really take some joy in Azel's company and teasing him a little. The two really seemed to hit it off well having just met yesterday, and she wanted to give him that same feeling before she gave a little tease of a kiss on his lips, breaking away with a warm breath upon his skin, her smile still lingering as she broke the moment with a cheerful announcement, her brief moment of seduction immediately becoming a giddy little tone. "Well then~ let's be off, captain." She said with a salute, not seeming to question the First Mate part, going with it pretty smoothly. As a thief herself, she seemed to know more than she gave off, perhaps even she had been to Tralst before even? She never did tell Azel where she was from. As a matter of fact, she didn't tell him a whole lot, aside from her love of jewels, seeming to love his sword and joking that she would steal that as well.

The two would leave quickly, paying her tabs that's needed, but making sure Azel paid his own, before heading out to the streets. They were near the main streets of the town, having the luxury of cobblestone roads, and spared the site of most drunkards or people who were at a lower standard of living. In fact, one could say they were in the richer quarters of the city, and off to the north they had a nice view of the large volcano, which she had wasted no time in briskly walking towards, actually walking backwards with her hands behind her head like she was reclining. "So... what's this about a first mate, hm?" She said with a big, cheeky smile, certainly dropping her sweet and seductive act for now, looking more like an innocent young woman in her early twenties than the thief that she was.

[Narration post]

Costs for food range anywhere from 3gil to 10gil depending on quality. There is a variety of family run restaurants, most welcoming in travelers with open arms. The most popular are in the center of the town at the more wealthy district, or even Pheara's root located at the base of the mountain, known for it's fine dining for a cheap price.

Atrozeon would find himself getting a lot of stares as he slipped out of the Old Yellah in, even as he tried to remain incognito. The guards around the entryways between districts and streets of the town would give similar gazed, eyeing him warily, leaving their aloof states as they casted an almost glaring gaze. People seemed.. quiet around him, like he was a cursed or marked man. Fortunately, no one actually decided to approach the man, mostly because of the fact that he was in the more unwealthy district of the town, and few had the courage to say anything about him, even the guards despite their glares. Few people even seemed to leave or enter the apartment like complexes, all except for one young man garbed in a tunic and slacks, rather simple clothing that fit the scene around him (Hiwa). Aside from all the strange glares, nothing seemed too off at the moment, but there was certainly a few people whispering amongst each other about Atrozeon's presence.
User ImageAlison didn't need to be asked twice. When it came to helping Seraphim out, Alison was more than prepared to drop everything for her. This was mostly due to the fact that Alison wasn't capable of doing much, mostly due to her low intelligence - hence why she was banned from using just about everything in the kitchen without supervision. Still grinning to herself, she practically bounced over to the door, and only then did she slow down just a little, being careful as she opened to door to avoid ripping it off his hinges. She knew all too well that if she was to open the door in the same manner that she went about doing everything else in life, she'd pull it clean off, and even if she wasn't quite aware how bad their financial situation was, even she knew that replacing an entire door wasn't a good thing.

As she opened the door, her chocolate brown eyes lit up as they locked onto Kaoru, and immediately her grin widened even further as she practically pounced at him, wrapping her arms around him as she pulled him into a suprisingly tight hug. "Kaoru!" She exclaimed, easily loud enough for half of the apartment complex to hear, and yet she still felt the need to look over her shoulder and tell Seraphim. "Seraphy-chan, Kaoru's here!" Finally letting go of Kaoru, she took his hand in hers and gently tugged on it to lead him into their apartment, happy as always to see a familiar face - which, given her own usual self-induced happiness, meant that she was about three yellow lines from bouncing off the walls.

It wasn't long before the male had a reply. Surprisingly, it was the yellow-obsessed Alison. He pulled his hand down from his head, and was about to utter a greeting before the girl shouted his name and lunged at him. He flinched, about to sidestep but was hugged before he had much of a chance to react. A slight blush came across his face, though he hugged the girl back gently.

"H-Hello Alison," he replied.

The girl immediately shouted to Seraphim that he was here, and dragged him into the apartment outright. He walked along, still a bit flustered but not so much. He was at least comfortable around these two. However, that didn't change the fact it was completely different from what he was used to; Kaoru rarely interacted physically with people. Once inside the apartment, he smiled over to the white-haired girl and waved lightly with his free hand.

"Heya Seraphim!"

'Probably just some door to door a*****e just waiting to get his face broken in. ..I'd be more than happy to oblige to that.' There was a hidden little grin in the corner of Seraphim's at that, the thought of seeing someone's face being broken in or at least cracking a few ribs being like a melody to the short tomboy, contemplating on that idea if it was true. However, when she heard Alison's words, simply yelling out the name of her green haired, traveling friend, Seraphim was shocked. Her crimson eye widened, the skillet of pancakes nearly burning as she abandoned them, and quickly turned to see he was already inside. And then, as her single, crimson eye met with his vermillion hues, she stood there, frozen, clearly not expecting this.

User Image's**t!' Her first thought never being the most graceful, Seraphim realized just how bad this whole situation was. Not only did Kaoru come when she wasn't ready, but for God sakes she was still was still in her work cloths, covered in dirt from head to toe nearly, and had almost no sense of beauty or a welcoming greeting to offer at his arrival. Damnit, he could have caught her in just her underwear and it would have probably been less embarresing!!!

"D-Damnit! I wasn't ready for this!" Seraphim yelled out in a quick to react anger, grabbing one of the pots and chucking it his way with reckless abandon, mostly on instinct as she packed the force of a bullet with her tremendously powerful through. Turning the burner off, not even deciding to look at her success or not if she hit, Seraphim quickly ran for the bathroom to clean up, feeling like the least she could have done was be a bit more well groomed for his arrival. And not covered in durt, half asleep, her eyes baggy, and her once beautiful white hair frayed out in a tangled mess. Didn't he have any respect?!?

Clearly, Seraphim was the type to overreact and use anger to get her point across, but her two friends would have known that well enough by now...

~Seraphim Harmonia
User ImageAlison's own eyes widened as Seraphim threw a pot towards herself and Kaoru. Alison had seen many times before how Seraphim tended to opt for a violent approach when dealing with certain issues, and so, although this came to a surprise to her, there were certainly more surprising things that Seraphim could've chosen to do. Watching the pot flying towards them, Alison counted mentally in her head, before jumping forward, snatching it out of the air, landing only a few feet away from where she'd jumped. It wasn't so much that she wanted to protect Kaoru - of course, that was a factor - but mostly it was that she didn't want to risk getting hit herself; or worse, knowing how hard Seraphim could throw, she didn't want to run the risk of the pot smashing a hole through the door.

Having caught the pot, she took a moment to peer into the kitchen to make sure that Seraphim had, in fact, turned the burner off, placing the pot just inside the kitchen, by the doorway - once again unwilling to actually enter the room - before returning to Kaoru's side, rubbing the back of her head. "Sorry about that, Kaoru... Seraphy-chan just got back from work, so she's a bit tired." Alison wasn't entirely sure what had prompted Seraphim's apparently random act of violence - taking little pride in her own appearance, she hadn't really figured that Seraphim's current apperance was embarrassing to her, and sot he only explanation she could think of would be that she was tired or something... which still made little sense, but Alison never pretended to be good at understanding people, or just about anything, for that matter.

Kaoru was led into what ended up being a trap. Well, if he was paranoid that's what he would have thought. Coming in, he ended up meeting eyes with the white-haired girl who was a bit dirty. Probably still working her a** off, he noted, before the girl went into a rage. She was pissed and cursed about not being ready, throwing a pot in his direction. He reacted nimbly enough—though it was unnecessary seeing as Alison caught the pot—and sidestepped the object. When he looked back over into the kitchen the girl was gone.

"Eh, you'd think she was naked or something," he commented offhandedly. "Yeah, it's okay. . ."

He nodded calmly. Kaoru knew that Seraphim was a rather prideful girl, so it came as no surprise to see her reaction. Still, it wasn't that bad. At least she didn't continue. He smiled and moved into the living room. Placing his bag onto the couch, he dropped his bag and opened it up. Moments later, he turned around and smiled softly to the brown-eyed girl.

"Well, I brought you some greens and a necklace! I know you like yellow things, so I made sure to get a pretty one," the elf told her.

He was now holding out the smallish bag of greens and necklace for her. The greens were expensive, slightly, but more importantly was the necklace. It was free and had been made by some of the natives of Mistros. Unlike the farmers that had come into the area and turned it into an agricultural centre, they were less industrious. However, they did have one thing he enjoyed. Both a love of nature and some interesting philosophies. Certainly the closest to his person beliefs. So he went to explain the necklace to her; though, he wasn't sure she would care too much for the meaning.

"The Mistri are a tribe down south, in the town of Mistros now. They're really philosophical and stuff. . . I know you like to go climbing and all," he paused, knowing the girl was always doing something dangerous, before continuing, "well anyway, the tribe makes various charms and stuff for different things. This is a good luck charm, to protect you! I hope you like it. . ."

Damnit, why now of all times?? He couldn't come 10 minutes later? Hell, all it took was one little tumble off his chocobo, or another small monster encounter, or maybe getting a little lost, and she would have had more time to be prepared for this. But noooooo, as always, the timing couldn't have been more 'perfect' in making a fool of herself to have him come now of all times.

User ImageInside the bedroom that she shared with Alison at this point, Seraphim was quick to shedding her dirty cloths, and try to find something better to wear. She didn't have much to begin with, but Seraphim made sure to grab a towel first to wipe off and clean herself a little so she didn't dirty her fresh pair of cloths. Fortunately, her work cloths gathered most of the grime, her pale skin barely touched by the horrible conditions in the factories. She would have taken a moment to look at herself in the cracked mirror at the other end of the small bedroom, but knowing Kaoru was here made her rush, nearly putting her collared, gray shirt on backwards. [********! Just calm the Hell down and do this one step at a time. Gah!!! My hair's a mess too! Ugh, and a smell like Marlboro breath on a hot day. Screw it!' Frustrated and just not happy with herself, wanting to make herself a better host, Seraphim was quick to rush to the shower, the bedroom connected to the bathroom to make this easier. Shedding her cloths once more which she didn't even completely put on yet, Seraphim even removed her eye patch before getting into the shower. The bathroom was one of the only places inside this apartment that was noticeably better then the rest of the place. Even Seraphim knew how important good hygiene was, despite how she grew up, this was one of the few luxuries she coveted and would never ignore or neglect; thus, she kept it as clean as possible.

For now, the sound of running water was heard from the bathroom, but nothing else. The food had been finished as well, or at least, it would be if Kaoru realized it was still cooking, and didn't let the skillet with the pancakes on it burn. There was only enough for Seraphim and Alison though unfortunately, and if he wanted to keep his arms intact, he would have known better than to eat her share.

Seig Darkscar

Seig sighed somewhat out of disappointment when she said she didn't know. It was foolish to think she knew anyway, she was obviously an outsider. The way she examined him probably transferred the same thing he thought of her, they had something in common. But he wasn't going to automatically assume this. Turning his eyes from her he crossed his metal gauntlets across his chest and stared once more down the streets as his blonde hair flowed in the wind gently. "Eh, Sure." He said, somewhat unexpectedly finding himself accepting her proposal. Turning his eyes to her chocobo he thought it odd that a woman dressed in all black would harbor a white chocobo.

Very casually he unfolded his arms and stepped past her and then stopping as she spoke her name. His eyes turned to meet her purple orbs. Looking into his eyes deeper may have revealed the unnatural infused magic inside him, and much deeper, his sorrowful past. However he was one to not let others stare too long into his eyes and cut them from hers back to her chocobo, but still remaining intent on hearing her name. She was very polite and nice, reminding him so much of 'her'. It was hard for him to cast his casual arrogance on such a woman, so he was almost forced to match her kindness with a bit of his own.

                      "I'm... Seig."
He spoke as if he was trying somewhat to be nice to her and it was unnatural to him. His eyes had already slowly made their way back to her, but soon he cut away from her again and began to walk away. "Let's try this way" He spoke over his shoulder, expecting her to follow. His eyes set to the walkway ahead of him as he followed it's path. After a moment or two of walking Seig spotted what seemed to be a small family run restaurant. Stopping he turned his head slightly to Tomoko, who he hoped had been following him and nodded his head in the direction of the establishment. "This look good to you?" He asked her, really he wasn't to picky about price now. He just wanted something to eat.
Azel nodded in approval at her in her attire. She was a hot cookie. He even knew from experience, like a hot cookie she just melted in his mouth. Tender soft skin, with a nice taste of- Erm... I mean, back on subject~ He chuckled a bit at her comment, somewhat guessing what she'd get with her cut. The origins of his sword were that of a won bet from top notch pirate. Some scurvy dog who risked every bit of treasure he had to Azel's luck. From that day, Azel wielded his sword to show the accomplishment. Taking the kiss with a grin he turned to follow her, giving her a swift smack to the bottom as she called him captain. She really knew how to pump his ego, he loved it. Perhaps there was a bit more to this girl than just a one night stand.

Following closely behind her he paid his tab and followed her in suit casually. His red bandanna blew in unison with his spiky dirty blonde hair in the wind. Ahead of them was the big volcano native to Cryth. Apparently it was where this "eye of ifrit' was. He was giddy but still a little unsure. But judging by Fathia's enthusiasm, he had a feeling it wouldn't be so bad. Turning his blue eyes to her he smirked as he grabbed the key around his neck with one hand. "I'm rounding up gil to get a boat and a new crew to go searchin' for something. A little something I came across." He said nodding as he took his hand off the odd shaped metal fragment around his neck. "I just meant you'd be my first mate. You know, like vice captain." His grin was priceless, it was one only a good looking young male could pull off. A lady killer if there ever was one. The kind of grin that would instantly gain him tooooons of fanfics, if this were some kind of story or something...

[NPC - Fathia]

Fathia would give a little purr as she got a swift slap on the rear, clearly flirting with him, going back and forth to her sexier side, then back to her more innocent ego as she just regained an overbearing smile. At one point as they walked, she even ended up humming a little something to herself, making this young woman seem more like a shallow, one night stand, and more like someone who really had a flare to her. She didn't show it in her orange eyes, but she had a feeling she was really luring him in, starting to gain some sort of attachment. And honestly, she would be lying if she said she didn't feel a little something in return.

But, then again, people like them always knew how to lie with a strait face, so telling fact from fiction may have been harder than it seemed.

"As long as I get a chance to see the captain's ship and take the wheel every now and then, I'll be sure to show him the buried treasure." Certainly implying something, Fathia said this with a raised brow in suggestion, only to turn back around as they were leaving the main district of the town. She couldn't help but have a small skip to her step, once again turning back to a more innocent side even after what she just said. A few moments later though, she removed a small satchel at her side, taking a look at her supplies in case they encounter any dangerous creatures at the mountain. Two potions, more Gil than she can count, some spare rations, and of course... a grenade she swindled from a traveling merchant she came across. She was anxious to try that out.

To walk there though, it would have probably been a bit over an hour. This was because the town's size was about equal to most in Hesperia, nearly ten miles in radius, some towns even ranging twice to that size. Fortunately, being near the center made it only half that, and even still she decided to speed things up, stopping at the Chocobo ranch nearby their location. 'Huh.. a black one, don't see that too often here.' She thought before turning towards Azel. "Well, you've ridden boats, you've rode me, but what about our fine-feathered friends here?" Fathia said with her little trademark grin in the corner of her lips, approaching the Chocobo Ranch to make their walk to the mountains a lot simpler.
Watching the man carefully, she saw him sigh and watched his actions carefully. Her eyes not always on his face but also looking at how he stood, how he held his arms...her eyes just slowly making their away around his body, then back into his eyes. She wasn't sure of it, but she felt like...something was off when she stared into his eyes. Nevertheless, the man accepted her offer about finding a place to eat and she smiled lightly, nodding her head in some sort of agreeance.

After she said her name, the man stopped to look at her once more, his gaze piercing compared to hers. Something was certainly off, but he didn't give her time to try and figure out. His glance was only brief and he must've found looking at her chocobo much more fascinating. She didn't dwell too much on the fact and stayed polite and sincere, not wanting to overthink someone she had just met. His name was Seig. She couldn't help but notice him going back to look at her, only to once again look away. Truthfully, it was actually more strange for someone to do that in her opinion, like one had been caught doing something they weren't supposed to and refused to make eye contact for too long. Then there were those that just didn't like people looking into their eyes, feeling like one could see right through them and into their soul. Many people believed that was true and Tomoko did believe it partially, but of course she believed people to be more complex than that.

Seig spoke over his shoulder for her to follow, and obediently Tomoko did just that. It was becoming more and more apparent that this man usually avoided people, his choice to lead rather than to walk with her revealing that quite clearly. He was actually becoming quite intriguing the more he tried to emotionally had himself. Right now Tomoko was no different than a loyal chocobo, following it's master the way she followed him. Not speaking, since he chose not to speak as well and it was only right not to force conversation to those that chose not to engage in it. While the two walked, her eyes would glance around the city and ocassionally back to him, only seeing the backside of his head. It was just as she was examining him again that he turned around, having stopped in front of a restaurant. Her head was slightly tilted and it was really quite obvious that she had specifically been studying him, but she didn't seem embarrassed about it and she tilted her head back upright, nodding it.

"If that is where you would like to eat." She said calmly. Sometime during the walk, the smile had left her face but when she spoke it slowly came back, warm, but like a flame on a candle it was barely there.

It probably wasn't allowed to have chocobos accompany you into a restaurant, so Tomoko turned to Jinx and lightly placed a hand on the bird's soft cheek. "You stay here, and I will buy you an extra treat for your meal, okay?" She told the bird, now wishing that she had taken the bird to a chocobo ranch temporarily while she explored town. It would've been a logical chose, but she did hate to seperate herself from her. There were few people, hardly any, she felt close to and the white chocobo was one of them. Jinx at first didn't seem too thrilled and to be told to stay there, having made a noise of complaint and scratching it's feet on the ground, but as soon as an extra treat was mentioned it quickly agreed, still somewhat reluctant. Stroking her feathers, she tied the chocobo to a hitching post for the time being, really not wanting to leave her outside while she ate what she hoped to be delicious food.

Turning back towards Seig, she started to head into the door, her deep violet eyes staring at him with a bright curiousity. "Shall we then?" She with a small amount of enthusiasm, eager to get some good food in her stomach to satisfy the hunger. At least Jinx had been able to eat that cheese this morning...
User ImageIt didn't take much to excite Alison - you could probably jingle some keys in front of her face and manage to keep her entertained for several hours. Yet when Kaoru announced that he actually had a gift for her, her eyes lit up and her mouth exploded into her usual grin. Before Kaoru had even pulled the presents out of the bag he was carrying them in, Alison was already having to make a conscious effort to hold every muscle in her body perfectly still, because she knew that if she didn't, she'd only end up hugging Kaoru again. Not that Alison ever thought anything wrong about spontaneously hugging people - she did it all the time - but it had only been mere seconds before she'd hugged him already, and he was still talking anyway. She wouldn't want to appear to be rude by interrupting him.

As the Elf continued, explaining the necklace to her, the girl's grin faded, instead replaced with a somewhat vacant, curious look as she looked at the necklace that Kaoru had produced. Alison knew little of the lesser-know legends and superstitions, and she was really quite interested by the idea of a good luck charm. "Oh, wow..." She ran her eyes across the necklace, still somewhat in awe by it. Sure, it wasn't exactly the most valuable gift she'd ever been given, but it was very pretty, and it was rare that Alison was ever given a gift. "Thank you so much, Kaoru!" She smiled, deciding now to throw her arms around the elf, grinning from ear to ear. Alison might have had a lot of quirks to her peronality, and she might not be even the most sane of people - but she was always incredibly grateful whenever someone did something for her - especially on the rare occasions that someone actually brought her a gift.

Seig Darkscar

Noticing her warm aura was like looking into a past light. Something unsure or unwavering weighed on his mind all of a sudden, but he couldn't let it take the best of his thoughts. It wasn't the time to bring such things into perspective. Turning his eyes to her he noticed a certain bit of curiosity to her glances. Unsure of how to respond to it, he simply ignored it as he did with many things. There wasn't time to think too deeply when your stomach could be heard through a metal chest piece. "Anything works for me right now." He replied turning his body to her and her chocobo but turning his glance to the restaurant. "Usually I don't have company... figured I'd ask." He said, trying somewhat to be as gentlemanly as he was taught to be back in SAGA.

Seig casually turned his head back to her and the chocobo as she gave the creature a reassuring goodbye. Giving a somewhat bit of respect to her, he let her finish without interruption. As she made her way to the door he followed closely, noting again her curious glances but seeming to be stricken by an invisible law that restricted him to return any of his own. "Ladies first..." Maybe he was just hungry... and it was playing with his mind, he really wasn't feeling too much like his normal self. Sure he could come up with a hundred reasons to put off his insecurities to interact a bit better with Tomoko, but deep down he was a bit afraid not to make a same mistake twice. He just flashed her a very small smile and followed her in.

Entering into the building he was greeted with a glorious smell of different foods. "Mmmm..." He let out a small sigh of relief, but mostly keeping it to himself. They taunted him as they danced around his vigorously. However it only served as a slight distraction to most of the people cutting him more than a curious glance for his dark armor and the large metal scythe that laid across his back. He cast their looks to the side and made his way over to a simple bench seat, removing his scythe and placing it against the wall before clinking down into the seat. Unsure if Tomoko would sit with him or not, he tried not to seem imposing in anyway as he waited for a waiter. I mean... it wasn't like it was a date or anything...

(So, Shadow or cha will pick up as a waiter? Just making sure before I go assuming things. I can edit if i need to)
