Welcome to Gaia! ::

Bones stared at Zal, a little shocked at the story. She blinked a few times before shaking her head lightly. She stared at Zal again, still trying to take in all the information she had just recieved. This sadistic yet kind demon was the famous Zalmunna? The demon who killed billions? So the legends were true. The story of how the town was founded, it was semi true. The story she had been told was that the devil himself was defeated here and that the town was built to keep him underground. It was close. But one thing crossed her mind. Why hadn't he killed her yet? She kept staring. " Zal... why haven't you tried to kill me yet?" She asked with confusion.
Zal stared at her, he wondered what to answer, he had loads of things he could answer. The dark aura dissapeared and he glared at the mice. They put him in a hard situation, he should have killed them when he had the chance. A part of him felt happy she still called him Zal. "I... Argh... I guess..." He couldn't find the right thing to answer. "It doesn't matter" He finally said looking down in the floor. He couldn't handle the way she was looking at him. He made the cage around the mice dissapear. "Go away before I regret letting you go" He growled. They changed back to two small red imps and giggled at Zal, the streched their wings and made themself invisible to normal humans that didn't knew magic or had a pact. "Oooh, are you still hurt by Mia? I bet she will do it again!" one of them said, pushing on Zal's buttons. Zal didn't even bother answering. This episode was bad enough already. It didn't matter anymore.
Bones looked at him sadly, he seemed a little upset. It hurt her to see him like that. Wait... why does it hurt? It could be... no. No way. It's not that... I wont believe it... She protested. Still stubborn, even like this. She had a look of worry on her face. She would talk to him: even if he shouted at her, even if he hurt her, she would help him. "... Z-Zal?..." She said quietly, checking for any anger. She reached forward to hold his hand, but stopped. She would probably make it worse by doing that. She brought her arm back by her side.
Zal looked at her, she looked worried. He looked down in the floor again, these feelings inside him wasn't good. He pictured Mia in front of him and shoke his head to get the thought out of his head. He fell down on his knees, he leaned against Bones legs and let tears run down his cheeks as the memories started to go through his head. "Bones, don't look.. I'll be alright.. I have been in the shrine to long.." He said as an exuse, even though he knew it wasn't true. He hoped that Bones wouldn't do the same as Mia. If she did he would have no idea what he would do. The cubicle was completely scilent, Zal didn't make a sound, the tears just kept running down his cheeks. I'm in such disgrace right now... crying... why do I lean against Bones? why do a part of me wish to be soothed by her.
Bones did as he wished and looked away, still worried though. She did not complain when he leaned against her legs, it was fine if he was upset. She tried hard to avoid looking at him, feeling a slight wetness on her legs, but it was certainly hard. After a few minutes, she couldn't hold back. She played with his hair softly and rested one hand on his back. It was what her mother used to do. A motherly act, soothing. If ever Bones had a nightmare of if she was sad, it always calmed her. If was relaxing.
He felt Bones starting to soothe him. He felt her hand in his hair and her hand on his back. Slowly he started to calm down and the tears stopped. He closed his eyes and enjoyed it. He felt a lot better already. "Bones, you're soothing a demon" Zal said, he wasn't smiling but he wasn't ma either. He just wanted to be there for a little more time. He took a deep breath and enjoyed the feeling of her playing with his hair. This is why I can't kill her, she don't care if I'm a demon in situations like theese. But he didn't want to tell her that.
Bones smiled kindly and watched him, continuing to soothe him. " I know... heh" She replied quietly. She was happy that he hadn't pushed her away, it stopped the aching feeling inside. What was it? It felt like heartburn, but more of an ache than a burn. She sighed contently and continued, her smile still showing. She hummed quietly. Why is it that he does not kill me? I am like every other human... Oh, well. For now... I am glad... She thought to herself.
Zal finally rose, he felt good inside but this situation was getting too embarresing for him. The air in the small cubicle was warm and he started to take off the clothes he found in the store getting ready to change back into the other clothes. He didn't really think of Bones being next to him and having to change his pants too. He just took the shirt of and then the top revealing his chest. The cap fell off when he took it over his head and he bow down to pick it up.
Bones smiled when he rose, glad that he was feeling better. She soon stopped smiling when he began to change though. She blushed and looked away. " Ehm, I'll be outside." She said quietly as she wandered out of the cubicle. He probably didn't want her to see him changing. She wouldn't want it either.
Zal smiled when she fled out. He looked at himself in the mirror, "I gained weight while being in there" He said even though there wasn't any fat on his body. He smiled, demonic good. He changed to the other clothes quickly and put the other clothes on his arm. A sudden thought hit him. He couldn't wait to go to school with Bones, since they looked about the same age he would be about the same grade as her, he couldn't wait to tease her in school.
He walked out of the cubicle and smiled to her and then carrying the other clothes for her too.
"Bones, when are you going to school again?" He asked with a broad teasing smile.
Bones smiled at him and stood up, hands in her pockets. She took the clothes to buy and quickly payed for them. Returning, she anwsered the question. "Tommorow" She replied with a grin. She then wandered out of the store and beckoned him over with her hand. " It's getting a little late. I have to cook dinner."
Zal smiled broadly and ran up next to her "I can't wait! I'm hungry" He licked his lips and thought of what she would make. He looked at her, Bones had a beautiful body for a human, some of him wondered why no males was confessing their love to her. If he had been a human he would have done it long ago. He kept staring at Bones until they reached home and she walked into the kitchen. Zal sat down and looked in the book. The book he told Bones not to read.
Bones hummed quietly the whole way home, her hands in her pockets and a merry smile on her face. Once they reached home, she unlocked the door and stepped inside with Zal, who had been strangely quiet the whole way home. " Charlotte! We're back!" She yelled, she got a faint grunt in return. Walking into the kitchen, she hummed as she worked, chopping away at the vegetables. About an hour later, she emerged with three plates of roasted vegetables and coconut curry. She smiled and set the plates down on the table. " Dinner's ready.
Zal jumped over to the table after closing the book. Waited for bit, looking at the dinner. He really wanted a big chunk of meat but he guessed it couldn't be helped. As soon as Bones sat down he sat down next to her. He licked his lips and watched as Bones little sister came down for dinner. She didn't like him it seemed. He took the plate and began eating the food.
Charlotte glared at Zal all through dinner since he had taken her seat next to Bones. Bones just ate. Half an hour passed and everyone had finished. Bones grinned and took the plates into the kitchen to wash up. She hummed as she washed up, soon returning and lounging on the couch.
