. feira .

name - feira
age - 19

shifts into - fennec fox.

An old vendor leaned against the wall of his stall, watching a cuious little creature play on the counter of the stall. The little fennec fox with ears almost half the size of her body bounced a small ball of yarn around with her nose. The happy animal made small squeaking noises that made people look at her with curiosity as they passed through on their way. The black market was home to various strange animals, but none as different as this one. The fox had her normal redish tan fur, but had bright cyan eyes, and cyan stripes on her legs, in a zebra like pattern. The vendor sighed with dismay, the old stall hadnt gotten enough customers in the last few months, and sadly enough the little fox would have to find a new home to anyone that was willing.
Vincent locked the door to his antique shop and walked down the street, glad to close down the shop for the weekend. He stopped by a alley when he heard a animal squeeking. He walked over to the stall. "What are you selling?" He asked the vendor.
The vendor sighed, Everything you see. he said with some disappointment in his voice. The fox jumped into a basket, peeking at the newcomer with nervous curiousity.
Vincent heard something moving nearby and saw the fox. She was adorable. He smiled. "How much for the fox?"
-The fox? You can take her if you want her. Legend has it that the poor thin wasnt always a fox. She was a Mage, and when somebody killed her she reincarnated as a fox. If it were true it would explain her blue eyes and the stripes on her legs-.
Vincent looked at the fox for a minute. It was a interesting story. He had heard of it before but never put much thought into it. He looked at the man. "It is a depressing story."
He shrugged. "Legends are legends. I highly doubt it's true."
He shrugged. "You never know." He pulled out his wallet. "Here." He handed the man twenty dollars. "I know you told me to take her, but you look down on your luck."
He smiled. "Thank you" He turned around and picked up the basket the fox had hid herself in. "Her name is Feira" he said as he handed the basket over.
Vincent gently took the basket and glanced inside. "Hello Feira, I'm vincent." He said with a smile. "Have a good day sir." he turned and walked out of the alley and towards his house.
Feira looked up at him curiously. The whole situation made her nervous, much to her dismay the vendor mentioned something about that story. The only reason this man probably took her, was because he was curious, and the last thing she wanted was for anyone to find out.
Once he reached home, he walked inside and gently set the basket on the counter. He opened up the lid for her. "Would you like to come out?"
