[[ -.- Just type long again D: ]]

Leight blinked before frowning. "Carving our initials into a fish? Isn't that kind of...I don't know, mean?" Leight wasn't really fond of eating a fish that had carved letters on it, showing the slimy icky bloody...bloody? Who knows if it was bloody or not, just that it was gross, thats all.

Niet sighed. "Perhaps special is too special of a word to describe her?" Niet muttered just to himself and Kimchii. He just decided that since Minax was a neko, he should just be quiet for now.

"Saffie made me doubt myself about Mizu!! Kimchii! Tell me it isn't true!!" Minax said, obviously in a panic about something that can be considered as simple. Apparently, Minax thought she knew Mizu very well, considering she has been with Mizu for such a long period of time, and they both talk a lot too.
Mina blinked at Leight's questioning. "Leight.. The fish is already dead. And its either eat a fish or starve because we didnt get any plants or anything." She frowned and stared down at her fidgety fingers. "I really couldnt think of anything else to bring. I thought I could pick out safe plants, but these ones are so different from the ones Im used to... I just wasnt sure if they were okay to feed kids."

Kimchii held back a laugh and swatted Niet in the backside playfully. She glanced at him briefly before sighing at Minax's expense. "How can I tell you anything if I dont know what you're rambling on about? Now what is all this about Mizu? What could she have possibly done?"
Minax then blinked before her mood changed from all panicky to just plain happy. "Ahh nevermind! I was talking nonsense, Mizu would never do that, haha," Minax giggled at herself. Then she patted Saffie's head. "Don't you ever go making me lose my confidence or self-esteem ever again," She said happily, enjoying herself even though there was nothing to enjoy.

Niet only sighed. "Special?" He said that word aloud, looking at Kimchii. "I know what you mean now."

Leight only just blinked. "Oh...I'll take the biggest one then," Leight decided that if he was going to eat something, he would take the biggest, then go exploring more. After all, he knew that Niet was going to use him for whatever things needed to be done.
Saffie peered up at Minax and rubbed her head. "All I did was ask a question.." She muttered, backing away from Minax. Even for the neko, this personality was just a little too weird.

"Dont be mean, that isnt what I meant." Kimchii said to Niet, fingering the worn edges of the map. "Go get the fish ready for dinner, Minax. Tell Gururu to start a fire. And do not bother Grey, he is very busy." She ordered, using her near parental tone. Kimchii looked up at Niet, "I just meant that it is what makes Minax unique." She smiled and jerked Niet's hand back to make him sit down. "Special in the unique, wonderful sense of the word."

Mina searched for the biggest fish and pulled it from the bottom of the stack. "Oh wow. Are you sure you can eat all this, Leight?" she giggled, showing the boy the emense fish. It had to weigh at least eight pounds and it was without a head, so she knew exactly who had caught it. "Do you mind that Gururu chomped the head off?"
"Okie dokie! I'll get on it right away!" Minax said, running out and towards Mina. "Can I help with anything?" Minax asked, happily jumping around and unable to stay in the same place for long. Something went wrong with her? Or is she just happy? Nobody will ever know.

Leight peered at the fish. "One with it's head still on please." Leight said, he didn't like to share fish. Not even fish that Gururu bit the head off of. It was just something that said...common sense. Don't share food with others unless you want to get what they are getting, and who knows if Gururu has something.

Niet sat down. "Unique, wonderful sense of the word?" Niet repeated before sighing. "Anyways, Saffie, why don't you go help too. Since everybody is up, we can actually eat soon."
Mina giggled and took out a decent sized fish that still had its head attached. She held it up for Leight to examine before looking at Minax. "Sure. Do you mind chopping the heads and tails off of the fish? Gururu has already manually done it to her share, but there are still plenty that need to be taken care of." She asked, hoping that Minax wouldnt oppose.

Gururu sat in the middle of the empty living room floor. She gather a few rocks and made a ring out of them, setting some dry debris in the middle and igniting them in fire. After this was finished, she curled up into a tight ball on the ground, nudging closer to the fire to dry her fur-like hair.

Saffie sighed and ran into the kitchen, immediatly sickened by the sight of the decapitated fish. So instead she found her way into the living room, sitting by the fire and warming her little hands.

Kimchii nodded and once again gripped Niet's hand. She smiled. "Everyone has something special about them." She said, leaning her hand on Niet's shoulder. "Like, you are very handsome and thoughtful. And like I said, you are confident, not to mention brilliantly organized." She shmoozed, grinning.
"Okie dokie," Minax answered, her voice sounding just as happy as she was on the inside. Minax took a fish and threw it in the air. "Hey look! Flying fish!" Minax giggled. She easily slashed the head off with her hand as it came falling down. Repeating the process, she giggled each time the fish's head went flying.

Leight watched the scene before murmering to himself, "Is she drunk or something?" He looked up to Mina. "Yeah, that's fine. I'll be in my room sleeping if anybody needs me," He said before walking to 'his' room. It sucked that he had to share one, especially since he already feel crowded enough in that room that he shared. He sighed to himself.

"Personal traits handed down from parents," Niet replied to his compliments. His parents. Now that he thought of it, when was the last time he saw them? It must have been a while ago. He did remember telling them he would visit them when he was very little, just before he left to go get his dream accomplished. Being very little, he did have a dream of becoming a knight with shiny armor and cool hair. Huh...when did he leave? He shook his head. He should keep better track of these things.
Mina's expression fell as Leight left the room. She could relate to him, in some ways at least. Sure she had never looked hell in the eyes, but she did want people to acknowledge her for the capable young person she was. Maybe Leight wanted to be trusted with his own safety. Maybe he wanted people to treat him as one of their own instead of grouping him up with toddlers. Mina knew that was what she wanted, but she forced a smile anyway and threw Leight's fish into the air, leaving it for Minax to complete.

"Not from parents." Kimchii interrupted, coldly and quite abrubtly. A total change of mood swept over her and now she was simply bitter. A long pause engulfed the room, causing Kimchii to scramble in her mind, trying to fill the silent void. The last thing she wanted to be reminded of was her parents. To her, she was much different from her beautiful, carefree mother and her confident, able-bodied father. Both so unique, but so perfectly normal in their own way. As always, she was in the middle, along with her sisters who varied in extreme personalities. "I mean, if that was the case, then how do you explain me and my sisters? Etania takes things so serious while Taitem doesnt think at all, and Michiegen just stands there doing absolutely nothing but crying or complaining." She sighed in a loud huff. "None of us are like our parents, that I can recall at least."

The heat from the fire wasnt working for Gururu, and it was sure to cause a scene if she sat in the flames. Seeking help from somebody she knew wouldnt tell on her was her only option. But who? A lightbulb flashed in her mind and she found herself shutting the door to Leight's room behind her. "Hey, kid.. Is it okay if I ask you a favor?" She said, her voice low. Any other time, she would demand it, but she was far too weak and frigid to put up a fight, even if it was only vocal. "It's going to sound really stupid, but could you attack me? You know, with your light? Im pretty sure light is warm, right?"
Minax chopped the head off, along with the tail, and tossed it back to Mina. "Hey, what's up? Something Leight did to make you feel bad?" Minax asked, examining Mina. Usually, she wouldn't really care about it or bug into someone's problems, but...well, it's Mina.

Niet chuckled. "Are you sure? Maybe you should try to see them in a different approach. Do they see themselves like the way you see them?" Niet's smile only got softer as he said that. Being told that none of them are like their parents was pretty harsh, considering that you get some traits from your parents. But he wouldn't push the subject too hard, it was obvious Kimchii didn't like the subject.

Leight was surprised when he saw Gururu going into his room. Gururu. In his room. Asking for an attack? Well, nothing can get more weird then this. He merely answered, "Sorry, but I don't attack unless I am getting attacked."
Mina's expression fell slightly. So Minax had seen it. "Kind of.." She said quietly, placing her hands, palm down, on the table. "He looks kind of depressed, or annoyed. And it reminds me a bit about how I feel towards Zaine when he treats me like I'm a little kid. I dont think Leight appreciates being looked at like he was Saffie's age.. And if you think about it, he's not as fragile as we think. I mean, if someone can go through all that, and still not go insane.."

Look at it from a different approach.. In other words, try to see her sisters through their eyes. "So," Kimchii began, "I should try to see things from their perspective?" She questioned, folding her hands in her lap. "It's hard, though. Etania thinks of herself as some sort of God, like people have an obligation to be her slave.. but.." She pondered this trait for another moment. "With mother being half succubi, maybe it's not too weird. Etania has always been very pretty and capable of manipulating even the brightest of people to do her dirty work.." Why had she just admitted that her mother was half succubi? She asked herself this, mentally beating herself up for mentioning it.

Gururu huffed in annoyance. She didnt want to fight him. No, more like, she couldnt fight him. "Even then, though, you really dont use your powers. It's kind of sad too, seeing such a valuable talent go to waste like that." She rustled her own hair. "I guess Im out of luck then, I should probably find a dark place to freeze to death in, because I honestly dont feel like fighting right now." She let her hand fall, staring Leight in the eyes. "To be honest, kid.. I came to you because our powers relate to each other. I am fire, and you are light, and we both generate heat. But seeking help from a coward doesnt do me much good.."
Minax looked at Mina, tilting her head. "But nobody looks down at him. Why don't you tell me who looks down at him," Minax replied to what Mina had said. She really didn't think anybody looked down at him...well, she didn't look down at him, that was obvious.

"It will be easier to see what they see when you spend more time with them. I'm sure. Everybody has a reason for why they act the way they do." Niet explained, maybe it was easier said than done but he had tried it so if he can do it, anybody else can too.

"It really doesn't do any good for the way you treated me in the past." Leight mumbled to himself before letting out a small sigh. "Fine, I can help you. What do you want me to do?" He asked, reluctantly.
"Zaine. But I guess that's typical Zaine Frell for you. Worrying overtime about silly things." Mina sighed. "And I've overheard Kimchii and Niet talking about how the children need to be watched safely. To me, there is really only one child, which is Saffie. Leight may be seven, but Im pretty positive he can pull his own weight.."

Kimchii smiled, but it faded soon after. "The way things look right now, Im doubting that spending time with my sisters will ever be possible again. For one, we are stuck in another demension, and two.." She peered up at Niet, "I chose you. And because I chose you, they will never forgive me. Like Etania once said, I've been shunned from my tribe."

Gururu was stumped by this question. What did she want him to do? "Eh.." She pondered the question for what seemed like an eternity before answering, "Can you heat yourself up?" It sounded stupid, even to her, but it was the only plan she could think of that didnt include her finding Mina to stitch her up.
"Well, Kimchii and Niet is the leaders of this crew, so their word is law. But you can talk to them about it if you want. And Zaine, well Zaine will be Zaine. And Leight should know that Zaine is a sort of worrying person." Minax said, giving Mina the last fish. "But don't worry about Leight, he'll come out to the open when he wants to."

Niet sighed. "Look, it really wasn't good for you to choose me, considering I am the 'prince' of darkness, or whatever they call me." Niet told her, it wasn't really something he wanted to say but still, it has to be said.

"Heat up? With light?" Leight stared at Gururu blankly. "That is not how my powers work..."
Mina set the fish down and organized them on the table. "I suppose I should confront them about the issue, but Ill wait a bit. At least until after we've eaten." She looked over at the fire, where Saffie was playing. "Where did Gururu go?"

Kimchii sat there in silence for a few moments. "But.. it was." She said at last, tapping the tips of her fingers on her knees. "In some ways, it was bad, and in others, it was wonderful. It was bad because I couldnt see my sisters. But it was an escape from everything else. I realized this when I looked down at Xero in my arms that day. He was so helpless, and I realized that if I went back, nothing would have changed. Everything would be the way it was before I left home. I'd be a burden on Etania, who had the weight of the tribe on her shoulders and I'd still want to cry when I saw Michiegan curled up in the corner going through her selective memories.. And I remembered, in the split second I decided to stay with you, how it felt when you kissed me the first time. It felt like somebody had finally paid enough attention to pull me out of that grey area.." She smiled and peered up at Niet, "Your powers arent the only thing magical about you, your lips work some crazy spells. I dont care what you are or what they call you, but you are mine and Ill be damned If I let the past ruin that."

Gururu frowned. She supposed a few stitches wouldnt be so bad compared to dying of pneumonia. "Fine, how do your powers work then?" She questioned with a sigh, wanting to get this over with so she could eat and go to bed without the fear of freezing in the middle of the night.
"Good choice, do you need my help with anything else?" Minax asked, standing up. She tied her hair back with an elastic rubber band decorated with pom-poms, and changed her clothes with her powers to match the elastic rubber band. "Neat right?" Minax asked, spinning around.

"I guess, but it can't do any damage to try, right?" Niet asked, shrugging. "And as for the kiss thing...well, it wouldn't happen to be your first kiss, would it?" He looked over at Kimchii, a slight naughty smirk pasted on his face.

"I could make spots of light, surround myself in light, or make weapons of light. That is all I know so far, you can ask Zaine since he seems to know more about me then I do about myself." Leight told Gururu, showing an example of each while he was talking. The light that he did show was really bright, almost like the sun except white.
