Welcome to Gaia! ::

"Okay, okay, I won't get any ideas," Grey said with a small smirk. Even if he was getting ideas, he won't use any of them. Of course, Gururu will be one of the hardest girls to have a relationship with, considering she changes mood constantly. "And it doesn't take me a million years to carry fish," He added as he spot their 'home'. Already, the sand was starting to wash away.

Niet smiled. "Of course not, you want to be the leader, and I don't. That makes a big difference doesn't it? And besides, I'm just a helper, not neccessarily the 'leader'. And confidence is just one thing that was born with me." He looked over at Saffie. "Is Minax up yet?"

Leight continued to walk his slow, patient pace. "I won't be stuck. I have other ways of making shelter." He said. "And it's easy finding shelter here, with all the trees and everything."
Gururu eventually found her way into the shelter. She quickly threw her armful of fish onto a nearby table. The only thing on her mind at the moment was getting out of her drenched clothes. "You do too take a million years." She mumbled, raising her arms above her head and twirling her hands so that fire, for the hundreth time that day, swirled around her and transformed her outfit into something new. This outfit was much less revealing and much more warm. It consisted of a hooded cloak and a white knee-length simple dress. Gururu immediatly pulled the cloak around her, using it as a blanket.

Kimchii smiled and peered at the map. "That's true. I've never really seen you down in the dumps. Always confident, that's my Niet in shining armor." She teased, adding a giggle. "So what am I supposed to be looking for on this map?" She asked, tilting her head to the side, causing her light blue hair to spill over her scrawny shoulder.

Saffie thought for a moment. "Im not sure. I'll go check." She said, racing off towards Minax's room. She didnt bother knocking, she was sure that Minax was asleep anyway. She climbed onto her bed and shook the neko's shoulder. This would be a difficult mission, but she intended to see it through. "Wake up Minax. The shelter is disinagrating as we speak!"

"Yeah, but I dont exactly care about the other ways." Zaine said, scooping Leight up against his will. "Im not about to take the heat for one of the kiddies running off." He informed Leight as the shelter came into view. "Besides, we're just about there."
Grey went to the table and put his portion of fish on the table too. His clone turned back to regular dirt on the ground and he went outside. Spotting Leight and Zaine, he waved at them and shouted. "Hey! Guys! Hurry up!" He hoped they heard them, considering it was raining harder.

"Niet in shining armor?" He raised an eyebrow at Kimchii. "There's an island close to here, and Ren said it is possibly the best island to get help from, or the best island out of all of them. What do you think?" Niet asked. He already mostly knew what Kimchii was going to say, but he wanted to hear it anyways.

"Eh....leave me alone, I'm sleeping," Minax whined, swatting at the air a little. She was having such a good dream too, eating all the fish she wanted to. Having as much fun as she wanted to. And even having a no rule place. Of course, she was disappointed it was all a dream.

"You are forcing me to go against my own will?" Leight asked.
Zaine gave a short laugh and nodded to both Leight and Grey. He put Leight down once he got inside the shelter. He straightened and put on a fake serious face, accompanied by a similar tone. "We would have gotten here sooner if Leight hadnt been walking like a turtle and arguing the entire time."

Kimchii looked up at Niet. "Yes, a Niet in shining armor. Is that a corny name?" she questioned, since she actually found it romantic. She pondered Niet's statement about the island Rose had previously informed him of. "So in other words," She looked back down to the map and paused for a moment, "we'd be going from one mysterious dangerous place to another? Or is the other island safer?"

Saffie sighed and shook Minax a bit harder. "Minax, come on. Zaine is home and everything." She said, only knowing this because she could here his unique voice throughout the entire shelter. Strong, confident, but a bit annoying and immature. "Grey, Gururu, Konai and Mina caught some fish, so it needs to get eaten up before it goes bad."
"Arguing? Slow as a turtle? I think that was you, Zaine." Leight replied, glancing at Zaine while Grey made their home, for now, go down. It wasn't as easy as it looked. It was almost like trying to think about something, and talk something else at the same time. It was basically like that, except using your hands and mind to act it out, and making one of them talk.

Niet only just sighed. 'Niet in shining armor' sounded weird to him, but then, he wasn't average at all. "I'm not sure about the details. I can go ask Ren." He said, really wondering if it was true that they were wandering to a dangerous place.

"Fish?" Minax's ear perked up at the word. When was the last time she'd eaten fish? Not for a while now, considering Kimchii doesn't make fish much. She sat up. "Fish? What kind?"
Zaine brushed his thumb against the side of his nose. "Oh no sir, dont turn the tables on me." He laughed and put a hand on his hip, failing to look serious. "I was the one who carried you here, remember? Because you walk like this." And with that said, he began to immitate a turtle.

Gururu formed another cloak in her hands. Feeling sorry that she had left Grey to soak in the rain, even if it was a short time, she walked to him and draped the cloak over his shoulders. She did this quietly in order not to disturb his work. It seemed like the entire group was counting on this newcomer more and more as time passed. She stood watching with a blank expression, her arms wrapped tightly against herself even though her clothes were dry. Her ears ached from the frigid rain and her tail was clinging to her body for dear life. She really did hate water.

Kimchii sighed. "I guess it is safer. For the girls anyway." She smiled to reassure Niet that his planning was going alright. "But if you'd like a second opinion, you could ask Ms. Blastia, Im sure she is much more experienced in this kind of thing." She added, keeping her sugarcoated expression in top-shape. Something then wacked against the back of her head, causing her to gasp. She heard somebody say, "Dont call me Ms. Blastia, you make me sound like a grandma." Kimchii groaned and turned to face Rose. "Sorry, I wasnt thinking."

Saffie blinked at the sudden excitement, then stifled a laugh. "How am I supposed to know? Its just fish, I guess." She giggled, hopping down from the bed, but finding it a longer trip down since the shelter was gradually moving downward. "Looks like Grey's at work protecting the shelter. We shouldnt bother him, Mizzie read somewhere that it takes a lot of concentration to move inanimate objects, even if its your specialty."
"Well, you were the one running full speed ahead, even though there was no need to, and you didn't even notice a long snake that you almost stepped on," Leight retorted, not liking to be called a turtle.

Niet blinked. "What, do you not like being called Ms. Blastia? I'm fine with being called by my last name." Niet had a feeling he already knew the answer. But figured that, like everything else, Rose was probably one of the unpredictable ones.

"Mizu? Oh, I wonder how she is doing with her fortune telling thingy right now," Minax said, having no problem going down and not even noticing the camp going downwards. The last time she talked to Mizu...well, the last time was probably a couple days ago, before the ship crash. And that had been a short talk, a couple words, and then she had to return to the council for a meeting and such. Hm, she wondered why she never asked about her own fortune to Mizu, it would probably be interesting.
Zaine scoffed, feeling defeated and a bit sickened by the thought of stepping on an actual snake. "Fine, fine." He surrended, waving his hand to dismiss the conversation. "But better safe than sorry, right? After all, Grey did need to get the shelter underground before the storm completely wrecked or knocked a tree on top of it."

Mina slid into the room and grabbed her brother's arm, peering down at Leight. "I think that's enough you two. Either way you took, you would still turn up at the shelter, it would still be storming, and we would still be underground. To think that a fourteen year old is honestly arguing with a kid half his age.." She shook her head and never finished her statement, sighing before releasing her brother. "Anyway, we should cook some of the fish up before it spoils."

Rose smiled and rustled her short blonde hair. "I dont mind being called Ms. Blastia if the person adressing me as so is significantly younger than I am." She clarified. "But by Ms. Henemaru, it seems a bit awkward considering I am only four years older than she is. Im nineteen, not twenty five, I dont expect to be adressed with such an authoritive title, unless of course it is by my crewmates. Plus.." She paused and let her hand fall, still shining her slightly alluring smile. "It's kind of nice to be young." She put her strict mask back on and pointed a finger at Niet, "So dont you dare go and make Ms. Henemaru grow up too fast, Niet Crowe."

Kimchii blinked at all of the sudden drama that had just hit her like a train. She felt it was much more natural to call Rose Ms. Blastia than for Rose to call her Ms. Henemaru. But, of course, she was the one to end the arguement. "Oh-Okay!" She nodded, peering up at Niet to warn him of not provoking Rose. Even if the woman held no abilities of her one, Kimchii did see her a strong ally. "Besides, Its kind of too late to be worrying about growing up too fast. Everyone has a lot of responsibility, but even so, we do manage to act our age every once in a while." She chimed, tilting her head to the side, using body language to ask Niet if he agreed.

Saffie smiled. "Im sure Mizzie is okay. She isnt very social, but she is very nice so people just like her just fine." She put a bit more thought into Mizu's new found ability, and suddenly she had one very serious question. "Do you think.." She began, pausing and fingering the hem of her dress. "Maybe, do you think Mizzie knew if we could go home or not? Do you think she knew we couldnt and decided to take the time to get used to this place?"

[[Why do mine keep getting longer?! O; ]]
[[ Because you want me to read more than I have to -.- ]]

For Leight, that was almost a sort of sign of victory, and he easily let that sign out by just smiling a bit. A smile of victory? It wasn't really a 'victory', maybe something more like a challenge won...something like that. But still, if he beat Zaine in an "arguement", then that would really mean he would be ready to take on all the things he and his sister fights about most of the time and not be called a brat. Although, he wasn't sure if that was just something used for teasing.

Niet only blinked. "But I'm older than Kimchii," He said before just keeping quiet, getting a feeling that it would be much better left alone. "And yes, I agree with Kimchii. Of course, mostly everyone acts their own age if left alone. Like Minax, or Saffie, or Mizu. They act pretty close to their age, if not younger." He often think Minax as a 7 year old, Saffie older or younger depending on her mood, and as for Mizu...well, she has her personality that matches her perfectly well.

Minax pondered on that question for a second. It did seem like a possibility, considering Mizu was probably one of the best at hiding things, if not hiding herself. But she was sure Mizu would never do such a thing...would she? "Ahh, great Saffie! You made me doubt myself!! KIMCHII I'M LOSING SELF-ESTEEM OR CONFIDENCE OR WHATEVER!" She shouted the last part, grabbing Saffie and running out of the room towards Kimchii's room. Zipping past Zaine, Leight, and the others, she ran right into Kimchii's bedroom and into Niet. "Ow! Niet!" Minax complained. She was holding Saffie by the hand, and rubbing her head with the other.

Niet looked over at Rose. "Like I said, they act pretty close to their age, if not younger."
Mina smiled and placed a hand on Leight's head. "Its kind of cute when you smile, Leight, for whatever reason. I get a kick out of seeing something so rare." She let her arm fall. "Anyway, back to our meal plan. Come pick out a fish and Ill carve your initials into it so we know it is yours." She prompted, taking hold of Leight's arm in an almost maternal way and leading him over to the table.

Kimchii laughed and gripped Niet's hand to simply feel its warmth. She looked to Minax as she entered the room in a rush, nearly dragging Saffie behind her. "But it's what makes Minax special.." She said in a near mute voice. "So you are losing confidence? That isnt very helpful if we plan on making it out of this place. Why do you seem so panicked all of a sudden? You're usually quite optimistic."

Saffie jerked her hand away, feeling as though her arm could fall off at any moment. "Minax is a totally different kind of special, dragging me around like Im some doll.." She muttered under her breath, somehow picking up on Kimchii's first statement.

Rose took a seat beside Kimchii and rested her elbow on her knee, placing her head in the palm of her hand. "You are doubting this plan because?" She questioned, tilting her head to the side in genuine curiousity.

[[I tried to shorten it. As you can see, I failed. ;~; ]]
