Welcome to Gaia! ::

"Ow ow, okay okay," Grey said, walking a little quicker now that he got the message from Konai. When he heard what Mina had said, he had thought that was weird but cool in a way. Of course, the unexpected was interesting at times but there is the expected which can make you excited for anything.

Niet, who was not surprised by the fighting, just sighed and shook his head. Boy, was it hard to actually get together a group and plan. He just watched them as they continue with their arguement.
Konai blinked towards the darkening cave and released Grey's hair. He had to squint to see deeper into the dripping cave.

Mina flicked her hand to offer some assistence. Though she wasnt exactly a light emblem, her powers were white magic and her hands did glow when she wanted them too. The only difference was that her light was healing rays. "Is that better?" She asked, navigating her way through the cave.

Eventually, Zaine managed to scurry away from Kimchii, though he hadnt escaped the possibility of bruises. "Damn it!" He cursed, forgetting that there was a toddler in the room.

"I could say the same thing." Kimchii muttered, standing and examining her new rugged look. She was annoyed, but Saffie still needed to get clean and her temper wasnt going to make it anymore pleasant. She glanced up at Niet and scowled at his 'You've got to be kidding me?' expression. "If you have something to say, spit it out."
"Heellooo?" Grey shouted through the cave, loving the echoes bouncing off the walls. "Isn't this awesome!?" He shouted, again loving the echoes. "Try it guys, it is so cool to here what you sound like!" He placed Konai down, knowing that Konai would have to have at least some experience in caves or whatnot, considering he was half fox.

Niet just shook his head. "I have nothing to say for the time being. Zaine, are you free or do you have something to do?" Somehow, Niet's appearance was a bit of an intimidating image to some, of course when he asked something, some thought it was more of a command then a question. This wasn't unusual at all, it happened wherever Niet is.
Konai slid his feet, following Grey. Living in the moment, he mimicked Grey, calling, "Hello!" When the echoes came back to him, he began to giggle, hearing how funny his laughter was.

Mina's laughter was a result of Konai's amused expression. She skipped excitedly, deliberately projecting her voice to create echoes whe nshe spoke. "Do you think we'll find some treasure in here?!" She asked.

Kimchii pursed her lips at Niet's new expression, the one she was most familiar to. She glanced at Saffie, who was giggling at the face she had made. For Saffie's amusement, she stuck her tongue out and crossed her eyes.

Zaine shrugged, ignoring Niet's strict composure for the time being. "Ive got time to spare. Why do you ask?" He questioned, raising an eyebrow.
"Probably!" Grey shouted in reply to Mina's question. "This is so cool! All we need are bats here to make it even cooler!" He said, twice as loud as the first. Like an answer, fluttering was heard over the echoes of water drops.

Niet sighed, not enjoying much of Zaine's behavior. "Mind going around the island and checking things out? Like civilization or something like that. You can get Leight to go with you since I'm sure he likes to be out." Niet said, jumping down into the pit.
Mina nodded, though she knew Grey couldnt see the gesture. "Yeah! Bats would top it off!" She chimed, running her hand across the side of the dripping cave.

Konai absentmindedly, and instinctively, clutched a part of Mina's skirt, following close behind as to not get lost. This, however, sent a chill down Mina's spine, literally, and caused her to shriek. The thought of something grabbing her in a cave wasnt a pleasant one. It was all like a domino effect; Mina screams, causing Konai to shriek in response.

Zaine cocked his head to the side, flashing his Tom Sawyer grin. "My, my.. well isnt that the lion asking the sheep to do his work?" He joked, straightening up and brushing the dirt from his clothes. "But I guess it wouldnt hurt to have something to do.. If, of course, I get something in return." He winked and pushed the golden hair from his face. "Like, you get Grey to make me my own room. I would have swiped this one if I had realized that option before I dug this hole."
Grey, alarmed, turned around and grabbed both Mina and Leight and pulled them towards them. "What? What?" He asked, holding them almost protectively. "Is something here with us? Did you guys see anything?" Questions started pouring out of Grey as he checked each of them up and down. Well tried to that is. You really can't see well in the dark.

Niet sighed. Why wasn't he surprised about Zaine's deal. Of course, that would mean having to ask Grey but he wouldn't mind. At least Niet didn't think Grey wouldn't mind. He really didn't know Grey all that well, considering he was almost 'new' to the crew. He shook his head. He had other things to do, and they were far more important than checking out the island. Like talking to Rose and Ren, and checking if their was any nearby islands and how far they were from where they came from. On top of that, sending Leight to the island too. He would have to test Leight out and see how much he can take before he faints, or even turn into what he does. "Well, fine. But go and get a good idea of what the island is like, and find Leight. Leight isn't good being alone."
Mina nearly instinctively clung to Grey, that is, before she realized she was doing so. "Konai scared the hell out of me!" She complained, nearly whining. "Dont do that, Konai, that wasnt funny." she lectured, cutting the child a glare.

Konai whimpered after he was finished screaming. He honestly hadnt intended to scare Mina at all, and he didnt understand why she was so angry with him. Then, there was the thought of him being in trouble or Mina tattling to Gururu that caused to be completely unsettled and a bit paranoid. "I'm sorry!" He repeated nearly five times in a small, choked voice.

Zaine ignored Niet after he had said "Fine." He nodded and walked out of the make-shift home, deeper into the jungle area. "Leight! Come on, we have a job!" He called out, cupping his hands to his mouth to make his voice echo.
Grey laughed. "Konai scared you, and you scared Konai back, but you both scared me, I find that funny. Anyways, it's fine you guys, that's what we get for being in a dark creepy cave right?" He let go of them and ruffled Konai's hair. "And you, don't go saying sorry that many times, got it?"

Niet shook his head. "Sometimes I have a feeling Zaine didn't listen to a word I say." He jumped out of the pit and said, "I'm going to talk to Rose and Ren," before leaving and walking to where Ren and Rose was.

Leight walked out of a nearby cluster of trees and gave Zaine a questioning look. "A job? I'm too young for a job."
Mina giggled, but only slightly. Her heart was settling down to its regular beat. "We should probably get going. We were supposed to get food, werent we?" She asked, pushing her pink hair out of her face.

Konai's ears perked up when Grey's hand brushed over them. His fox-like instincts caused his head to rub innocently against Grey's hand. He peered up at him and gripped his fingers in his tiny grasp.

Kimchii sighed and turned to Saffie before icing over the pit to make a clear tub. She let the ice rise over the pit, so nobody would nonchalantly fall into it. After doing so, she filled the tub with warm water, just enough to suit Saffie's size. She picked the child up and began to give her a bath.

Rose was tapping her fingers against her knee, counting Ren's exercise. "Ten more." She lied, adding five to the count. It was somewhat amusing to her, on this dull island. She glanced up at Niet as she tapped her finger and grinned. "Well, well. Its about damn time you came to visit. Looks like we'll have to take a new form of transportation, my ship is done for."

Ren was busy doing a gymnastic move with vines that were descending from a single tree. She had made 'rings', like in a gym, and was gracefully spinning in the air.
"Well, than I guess we have to go catch fish or whatever to eat. " He started heading out of the cave, thinking of all the things there was to eat on the island. Sadly, there wasn't that much good things to eat. Unless someone knows how to cook with very limited ingredients. "We can play soccer later! You guys know how to play?"

"Yeah? Couldn't you have come visit me instead?" Niet said, not even changing his tone to show that he wasn't in the mood for a scolding. Of course, he neverreallywas in the mood for a scolding. "It's obvious we can't use your ship. Or what is left of it. Is there any surrounding islands?"
Mina blinked. She had never played sports before, but she did know the rules. "Im not sure I'll be any good at it, but i guess I could give it a go." She smiled, grabbing Konai's hand and following after Grey. "If you need help picking out plant ingredients, I know how to tell a poisonous plant from a safe plant. Its a skill you need if you're in the medical field."

Konai's ears perked up, paying attention to different sounds. "Maybe I can hear an animal.." He sniffed the air and released Mina's hand, trading off for Grey's. "Or maybe I can- Gururu, go away." He glared off towards a tree, where Gururu lept from effortlessly.

"I come to check up my baby brother, and to see if you guys are doing your job, and what do I find? You lollygagging in a cave and chatting about sports." Gururu said in a calm and collected voice. But for her, even that was dangerous. "You shouldnt even be in a damp place like that. Moisture in the air causes pneumonai, a bragging nurse should know that." She said, glancing over at Mina.

Rose smiled, ignoring her duty in counting Ren's exercise. "I guess i could have found you." She shrugged, ruffling her own short blonde hair. "There are a few safe islands, but they are difficult to reach by water. By air, the clouds are dense. It will be a challenge, but it is possible. I believe, with your outstanding group of supernatural beings, it will be a piece of cake compared to my other attempts."

"You're not too young for anything. Well-er.. I take that back." Zaine laughed, scratching his head. "Anyway, we are supposed to explore the island and figure out what it looks like. I guess Niet wants to make a map or something."
"Well, we can always have fun on the job, why don't you join us?" Grey said, not really understanding why they couldn't have fun on the job. "Besides, a lot of the members in the group these days are stressed. And it's good for the younger ones not to get too stressed about it."

"How far is the islands exactly? And what exactly lives under the sea?" Niet ased, noting to himself the important questions first. If he was going to do this, it would be flawless. Considering it was a life and death thing, he was going to make sure it was a 100% safe. "And is there any humans on this island?"

Leight gave Zaine the "why are you making me come with you" look and crossed his arms. "Why do I have to come too? It's only fair that you go alone since you're getting your own room and I'm getting nothing."
Gururu pushed her hair from her face. "I guess that makes sense." She looked to go Konai. "But it is also logical to be aware of your surroundings, and look out for big," She got closer to Konai, "ugly," She jerked towards him. "monsters!"

Konai was unamused. He simply cocked his head to the side and smirked. "Dont worry, sister dearest, I can smell you from miles away." He teased. He let out a little huff and turned her head, keeping his eyes set on Gururu. "Besides, it doesnt seem like you are doing anything at all. There are many tasks to be done and you havnt lifted a finger. Im suddenly agreeing with Kimchii's assumption. Maybe you're just fat and lazy." He could see the anger boiling in Gururu's eyes as he spoke.

"Because Niet told me to find you. And he is busy, anyway. No one else would be able to watch you if I just send you back to the shelter, Leight. I wasnt aware that being around me was such a pain in your a**.." Zaine muttered the last part before grabbing Leight's hand. "Plus, your powers may come in handy. You know I dont have any abilities, and guns havnt been invented yet. Do you really want to leave me defenseless?" He asked, walking off deeper into the forest, dragging Leight with him.
Grey sighed. "Konai, that's enough okay? We don't want to get into a fight right now. Do you want to join us, Gururu? We are going to catch a few things to eat and then maybe explore some other places and play soccer. I'm sure you played soccer before." He nodded his head towards Mina. "She never played before so we can teach her."

"Hmph, couldn't we go somewhere else more interesting? This place is boring," Leight said, being freely dragged. "Of course, I don't like using my power. So even if you drag me, both me and you are defenseless."
