Unlike Koki, Keiji had no parent supervising home or punishing him during the week. He instead spent the course of the school day on his own, working through his textbook in time with the class, and working on homework given to him by Saboru each day, along with his usual studying he did on his own, but he did find it rather hard to concentrate. All he could think about was the punishment he was probably going through, he didn’t get to talk to him a whole lot, or at least not as much as he wanted to. Koki’s ada did let Koki call him each night and their conversations were long and it felt nice to hear Koki’s voice. Koki had a friend bringing his homework too and it sounded as though his dad was making sure he did it. Keiji still wished he could see Koki and spend time with him but obviously that wouldn’t be tolerated, part of the punishment was that they were kept apart though Keiji had no parents around to enforce it on his side Koki’s dad was plenty the enforcer for both of them, something Keiji was strangely happy about. He had never been in trouble, told off or grounded by a an adult somehow it felt nice to be treated like a kid by Koki’s family, though it also made him painfully aware of how messed up his own family life was, for him and Kaede.

That was another thing entirely. at the start of the week Keiji had made a call to his mother and she had agreed to come home on the following Wednesday to talk to both of them. It was all Kaede could think about. She openly hated their mother, and the idea that their mother might be bothered by the things they had to tell her excited Kaede, while worrying Keiji and when he looked worried when Kaede brought up the topic she would yell at him to stop worried, that their stranger of a mother had absolutely no right to question their choices or dislike them for it, if she did it didn’t matter she wasn’t important and neither were her opinions of them still. Keiji had fought hard to get approval from Koki’s parents so of course a part of him wanted his mother to accept them as well, even though Kaede insisted that their mother was hardly family Keiji kept thinking about what Kanon had said about both families sitting down and having a meal together. Koki usually didn’t seem to care about adult approval but his mother wanted them to all act like a big happy family and if that were possible all those involved would be happy right? The chances of his mother reacting well to all this was slim though. It’d be one thing if he was just coming out to his mother, it would likely still shock his mother and she may have prejudices as is but to come out to her after losing his ears on school grounds and almost getting expelled…. it wasn’t exactly the best situation to ask for her acceptance, not to mention they were also going to drop the fact that Keiji had no intention of even going to business school and he definitely had no intention of rising to her rank, Kaede would do it instead. Keiji dreaded and worried about that day no matter what Kaede said.

Still that was far enough away that he didn’t want to think about it until after the weekend was over because this weekend he was going to get to see Koki. Relentless and Shameless wanted to meet up likely to continue their physical training. Even though they hadn’t been apart for long with everything that happened if felt like they hadn’t seen them for years, they had so much news for them, he wondered what sort of faces they’d make when they saw their earless heads. They were now the same as their older group of friends, earless, considered adults by most of society, even though they were still in highschool and lived with their parents… or at least in a house their parent owned in Keiji case. He had gotten up early, antsy for the day to begin, so he was halfway through his wake up routine when the doorbell rang. Keiji wasn’t expecting anyone especially too early… it couldn’t be Koki… Keiji had been in the bathroom brushing his teeth when the sound came, he had already finished showering and had gotten dressed thankfully. He rinsed his mouth and opened the bathroom door to see his still sleepy sister who simply pushed him out of the ay claiming the bathroom for herself. keiji knew he wouldn’t get back in there now he sighed and headed down the stairs quickly fixing his hair with his hands while he took the steps. He couldn’t get used to running his fingers through the hair that used to part around his ears, the feeling of a smooth cranium had never bothered him so much as it did now. He wasn’t used to it yet so he suspected their friends and Keiji only other family member would freak.

As he approached the front door he mentally went through who it could be; a delivery, a friend of his moms dropping something off, maybe even someone she sent to snoop before the big talk, maybe it was a friend of Kaede’s or… he opened the door to see a very excited lookign Koki. Keiji was already surprised to see that it was his boyfriend before he got the wind knocked out of him in a whoosh as Koki leaped at him excitedly. His back hit the ground and his head did too, he was thankful for the thick rug at the doorway that made the impact a little less harmful to him. Still one eye closed as he winced in pain and looked up at Koki smiling despite the impromptu injury. His black haired boyfriend was straddling his hips while bent over him gathering his neck and face with kisses, Keiji laughed a little at Koki’s proclamation, in truth it really hadn’t been that long, they had been together Monday, it hadn’t even been a week but Keiji had missed Koki just as much as Koki had missed him. Keiji’s arm came up to wrap around Koki ”Me too, though this tackling thing should have a warning don’t you think?” his other hand rubbing the back of his head, giving him a teasing hurt expression.

Keiji sat up leaving Koki to sit in his lap and he kissed Koki on the lips a little more deeply than he had first intended. When they broke apart he little a little guilty and a flush was beginning to appear across his cheeks, the last time they had been in this position was when they had… the blush deepened but he forced it down ”I didn’t expect you so early I’m not done getting ready, just give me a sec kay?” He pulled himself apart from Koki and stood up helping Koki do the same before heading back up the steps to his room to grab things like his wallet and phone before heading back down the stairs, stopping to tell Kaede through the door that he was heading out and to text him if she needed anything, then texting Jouyo that they were leaving the house now on route to Jouyo’s house. He grabbed a light jacket on his way out putting on his shoes and grabbing Koki’s hand before grabbing his keys off the wall and heading out the door, locking it behind him out of habit despite Kaede being home.

It wasn’t long till they were on the subway and on their way into town.

                                          ~

Michiaki looked back at his flat from the doorway about to leave. He really did want to consider getting as new place… maybe one that he and Jouyo could share… after all the monkey and Aizawa had just moved in together, and despite himself he was a little jealous that the couple would wake up and sleep together every night and morning. Jouyo had spent nights at Michiaki’s current flat but Michiaki wasn’t exactly fond of it, he had Suzuka had shared it for the time they had been married, there were bad memories that had sunk into these walls, even though he and Jouyo had spent time getting rid of things that once belonged to his ex-wife the house itself still felt like it belonged to her. Michiaki rolled his shoulders feeling a chill down his spine. He rubbed his scruffy jaw; he hadn’t othered to shave clean, it was a Sunday after all, He put on his shoes and headed out the door and to his car in the garage below the building. He wondered if he’d be driving the entire gang around again, the car wasn’t made for six… maybe he should switch up to a van? No, people at his company would think he was about to have a baby or a family, the only people that could look cool in such car were fathers, Michiaki had no intention of having kids at least not anytime soon even if he was going to babysit a bunch of kids this afternoon. He chuckled under his breath at his own internal joke, before sitting and turning the ignition heading out to the road. still renting a bigger car could be nice during the summer, the six of them could go somewhere to train, surea battle space could be opened anywhere and a gym was the only place proper to practice hand to hand combat but the wilderness had a much better backdrop, there was no chance of running into enemies out in the middle of nowhere and boxing atop a hill would make some great pictures. There was also something to be said about building their teamwork… Shingetsu was an extremely large organized group of villains, sure they could hold their own in a duel maybe, they were slowly learning how to work together but surely having the hike and be tied together by a rope or lend hands to one another would do much better than their current form of team building. Sort of like how the class Michiaki d made Jouyo attend had made the two of them closer, surely the same thing would happen in a hiking situation.

Hed think on it for now, it would be nice to see if Michiaki could prove his ape theory, if Souta could climb as well as a monkey then that would prove his nickname right? He parked the car outside Jouyo’s building heading into th elevator and to jouyo’s door where he knocked curtly. If they had a place together Michiaki wouldn’t have to knock, they’d live together, he wouldn’t have to drive to Jouyo’s place they’d wake up together… Jouyo called from inside that the door was open. Michiaki twisted the knob and Jouyo was right, he come in noting Jouyo wasn’t waiting in the doorway. he hung up his jacket and took off his shoes then heard Jouyo call him over. An eyebrow rose as he looked up and made his way to Jouyo’s side, all the ‘darlings’ gave Michiaki the impression that Jouyo was in a good mood, though Jouyo did like using pet names, the same one being repeated twice was usually a clear indication that Jouyo was happy. So Michiaki’s lips twitched into a smile on one side as he came to stand beside Jouyo. Michiaki looked down at the frie red hair, at the heterochromatic eyes and god like visage he had fallen completely in love with but he didn’t have time to stare at it for long because Jouyo was pointing out his window towards a sign. Michiaki followed his finger, Jouyo asked him to read the sign and Michiaki did so, and then continued to read signs that got further and further away, Michiaki sounding more and more puzzled after every one. He knew Jouyo had bad eyes but lately he hadn’t been complaining about them, Michuiaki always thought about everythign that might upset or hinder his sacrifice and had even introduced him to several doctors and eye researchers in the past that might be able to help him but Jouyo hadn’t talked about his eyes in a while, Michiaki hadn’t forgotten about Jouyo’s problem but he hadn’t thought much on it since Jouyo didn’t bring it up so why was he suddenly interested in how far Michiaki could see and read… was he just suddenly curious about what the signs said, being unable to read them himself, or had he gotten new contacts and wanted to show off, or worse was he upset about how bad his eyes were, was he sad or worried about not being able to read the signs himself? was his sacrifice in some sort of pain, was he agonizing over it, had Michiaki missed something, was Jouyo upset because Michiaki hadn’t asked him how his eyes were doing? Michiaki wouldn’t normally bring it up incase it bothered Jou but maybe he should have.

However the worrying turned out to be needless as Jouyo’s next words were that he could read all of the signs as well. Michiaki was part relieved and part confused. His eyebrows furrowed, he of course was happy to hear this but he wanted to know the reason. Jouyo parted from him sitting on the bed, sighing heavily which only peaked Michiaki’s curiosity more. Then Jouyo explained that it had been going on for a while that his doctors couldn’t explain it he paused and Michiaki studied that his expression wasn’t an excited one, he didn’t seem happy with the change if anything he looked a little dejected, worried, jouyo went on to explain why as well. He was afraid it wouldn’t last, their eyes met and they both held their gazes as Jouyo confided in Michiaki that it all started after he accepted their relationship. It was rather strange that the two were connected, michaiki didn’t know if it was common for pairs to help each other with their disability as their bond strengthens, it really sounded like fairytale magic… then against he magic that they wielded was really, so maybe their relationship could cast some sort iof spell, healing one or the other as their relationship deepened… it was stretch but what was happening with Jouyo made it plausible right?

Jouyo’s gaze became a little heated now as he said his final words. Michiaki couldn’t help the wolfish grin that spread across his face, Jouyo could see his godly body in HD…. ”It must be quite the view, I’ve been blessed with the ability to see your godly visage and form since the beginning…” He smiled confidently before letting himself become a little more serious. He crossed the room sitting beside his sacrifice on the large bed, touching Jouyo chin forcing Jouyo to face him, looking into his different colored eyes ” I can’t say for sure if this is permanent but if it is linked to you and me then I promise it will last forever because as you know I have sworn myself to you, I’ll never leave your side Jouyo-sama. If it is a coincidence, and your eyes relapse I will always be here to support you, you know that right?” he gave a space for Jouyo to answer ”In the meantime we shouldn’t be spending our time worrying about the chance of your sight disappearing we should be celebrating every moment that you have it. So stop letting it weigh you down, we should go somewhere to celebrate, name a place and I’ll take you there.”He only wished they could go now, but the kids, Aizawa and the ape were on their way. Michiaki wouldn’t mind cancelling but it would be rude and this training was important, especially for the two youngsters who were at the highest risk.

Speaking of which Jouyo’s phone suddenly went off… that was likely one of them, Michiaki didn’t release Jouyo right away though, first he leant forward kissing right above each eye tenderly, praying inwardly that Jouyo was worrying for nothing, that his eyesight would get better still, and that Jouyo would be happy. He then released Jouyo so he could check his phone. trying to lighten the mood back up he tried for something that would hopefully elicit a chuckle from Jouyo ”It is however unfortunate that you don’t just see me in HD but the others as well, I’m sure that part isn’t as pleasant as when your eyes fall upon yours truly. Though I suppose I can happily say I’m the only one you’ve had HD sex with, thankfully you probably couldn’t see the ape half as well, which I think is a kindness in that case.” Sometime he forgot that Jouyo and souta had a past, but thankfully Jouyo’s relationship with Souta was strictly of the friends with benefits type, and the end of their relations had left a bitter taste in Jouyo’s mouth promising that Jouyo was much happier in Michiaki’s arms then in Souta’s. Though it did sometimes confuse him that Souta must have played the top in that previous relationship, it was hard to imagine, not that Michiaki had any desire to pause on the image that formed in his head.

He quickly forced his mind to forget such thoughts looking at Jouyo instead ”Everyone’s on their way I presume?”

                                          ~

Souta awoke to his fighter staring down at him, if it had been anyone but his familiar fighter, not only would Souta had hit the person and run but he would have found the action creepy, thankfully it was Aizawa and souta was used to his fighters obsession with him. A smile spread on his lips as Aizawa said good morning, blue hues studied Aizawa’s face; his strong chin, his calming brown eyes, long eyelashes, soft lips. ”hmm? Good morning.” His voice was hoarse and therefore quieter than Souta had expected, he cleared his throat and pulled his elbows up to either side of himself rising in the bed. One of the arms came up to rub at the sand in his eyes, looking at the light at pooled into the room from the window, he tried to remember what was going on that day. He didn’t have work, hence being able to sleep in and they were meeting the others. ” Shouldn’t we be getting ready or something?” He yawned, knowing it was he who had slept in, Aizawa obviously awoke before him, Souta wondered why Aizawa hadn’t just woken him but it was a sunday so Souta was grateful for being allowed to sleep in. A sudden idea crossed his mind and he looked at Aizawa with his usual devilish grin ”Wanna take a shower together?” Despite the fact that they were living together and had been a couple for so long, Souta still found it effortless to get a rise out of his fighter with questions like those, He loved making the blond haired fighter blush, he really had a talent for it as well.

They had some time since they both woke up rather early most of the time, sleeping in for them didn’t mean they woke up that late, Souta didn’t mind being a little late to their gathering though, it wasn’t as if he wasn’t used to being tardy and a morning shower was all the excuse Souta needed. They were living together now so they were supposed to cherish their time in their new home, so who could blame them for taking a little time in the morning to appreciate their indoor plumbing and each other. Souta would bet anything that Shameless would do the same given the opportunity. Souta didn’t wait long for a response before sitting up and pulling he boyfriend towards the bathroom after him, already wide awake and ready, though he’d be craving coffee the minute they got out he was sure, but for now he was excited enough that he was awake.

After they go out Sotua made coffee on the new coffee maker he had been sure to buy on moving day. when he had lived above the restaurant he had gotten used to drinking the coffee made in the cafe, still nothing was like home brewed. They grabbed food and Souta got dressed. Since they had begun living together Souta had began to indulge in something else that usually got his fighter rather heated; wearing Aizawa’s clothes, which were of course big on his figure was small for a full grown male whereas Aizawa was way beyond average, so he looked at bit like a kid where wearing Aizawa’s clothes but if he was naked in one of Aizawa’s shirts it worked particularly well in getting Aizawa fired up. However going out in public that way might make for some awkward situations for Aiza so he refrained wearing his own clothes.

He still wore gloves anytime he left the house but truthfully he was getting better at controlling his new found powers, he was able to simply turn it off now, so long as he focused, but turning it on still caused an uncontrollable explosion of memories, but he was working hard at trying to slow down the abundance of images, bottlenecking them, and trying to see one at a time, so that the power could be of use to them in the future but so far he couldn’t do it for long without causing a headache, still in was something. Aizawa was ever conscious of Souta’s struggles to control it and was considerate, looking out for him, asking how he was, sometimes it made Souta feel like Aizawa regarded him as fragile, or breakable but he knew Aizawa was just too sweet for his own good and didn’t worry in a bad way. souta was getting sued to how over protective hi boyfriend could be, and tried desperately not to go off the handle when he felt he was being babied. You would think he was used to the baby treatment being the youngest of four boys, and the baby of his family, but it was more like he had been babied his entire life and wanted to be an equal at least next to Aizawa. Though he knew what with his recent attacks and how things had been going Aizawa’s worrying was warranted and Aizawa saw him as an equal and a man, so he couldn’t hold it against Aizawa.

The taste of strong coffee chased away his conflicting thoughts as he leaned against the counters looking at Aizawa ”Want some?” He was referring to the coffee. Aizawa didn’t drink it often but Souta had convinced him before. he looked at the clock on the wall absently thinking that they should get going and considering pulling down the travel mug to bring with them but he wanted to at least relax while drinking his first cup, if Aizawa didn’t want any he take the second cup to go then.

Not long after they found themselves heading down to the subway, gloves on Souta’s hand and velcroed tight to his wrists, a long sleeve shirt and jacket protecting his arms as well. It was already May but it was still a little brisk above ground, and dry and chilly down in the subway, soon however it would be warm out, Souta was aiming to no longer need long sleeves and gloves by that time. After all, he hadn’t gotten to go to the beach with Aizawa yet and he hoped they could. he couldn’t exactly wear a long sleeve shirt and gloves at the beach, though he didn’t want to know what the seawater and sand had seen, each grain of sand probably had it’s own set of memories ingrained on it, the idea sent chills down his spine but wanted to not use the gloves come summer gave him a goal he could see, and it wasn’t one that far from his grasp. He didn’t often practice removing the gloves around Aizawa, although he liked having Aiza around to support him, he found it hard to concentrate when he knew he’d worry Aizawa if he slipped up, if he shook, or lost himself mid attempt Aizawa would go into mother hen mode and almost stunt his progress because he was so worried and souta would want to put the gloves back down to help his fighter calm back down, so for now he practiced at work, collecting dirty dishes without gloves on; the dishes were cleaned a lot and therefore had few memories on them and the memories that were there weren’t full of heavy emotions or all that long or overwhelming so they were good for practicing on, and without telling Chisue he could always tell if the dishes had been cleaned properly, and he could make the girls redo them, not that he could tell them how he knew.

                                          ~

Keiji sat beside Koki on the subway. Since it was a Sunday morning there weren’t many people on the car with them, even though their were so few people Keiji still felt like people were constantly staring at the two of them, like they knew what the two of them had done, likely they were just surprised how young the two kids were, or at least looked despite not having their ears. Keiji could pass as a little older than he actually was, but Koki… in a lot of ways still looked young, it was part of his charm, his bouncy attitude only added to it, making him possibly look even younger. keiji had always found it cute, but he knew Koki shocked more people than Keiji did. Keiji tried to ignore what might be going through strangers heads upon looking at the pair, especially considering they were hand in hand and touching shoulder to shoulder, and hip to hip, it was obvious they were couple, Keiji just hoped they didn’t secretly hate him for tainting the younger boy beside him; as usual he was worrying for no reason, he should take a page from Koki’s book and not care what others thought, he should just focus on the only person that mattered; Koki, they were so close and here Keiji was worrying about everyone else. He sighed blinking slowly before letting his head lean against Koki’s bringing himself to forget his worries and instead inquiring ”What do you think the others are going to do? Oh yeah I meant to ask who the heck gave you the lube?” he knew it was either Souta or Jouyo and he didn’t know whether he should thank them or hit them for planning all this out. He said the lube part quietly so the rest of the car wouldn’t hear them.

Keiji narrowed his eyes at Koki’s answer but just straightened shaking his head once the culprit was revealed. ”I guess we were lucky to have it but it’s still rather bad influence to give that kind of stuff to a sixteen year old. “ There stop came and they exited the subway and out into the brisk streets, heading for the familiar highrise, Keiji, ever the responsible one shot another test Jouyo’s way to warn him that they were ten minutes away, truthfully he did because he didn’t want to get to Jouyo’s door and see the shameless pair dishevelled, and caught by surprise. The only person that could pull off the ‘just had sex’ look was Koki in keiji’s opinion. They had to buzz Jouyo’s room to get let in and were soon walking toward the door, Koki knocked excitedly, he was obviously bursting with energy. Keiji didn’t know how he felt about that. he was happy about what they had done too, it had felt amazing and he didn’t regret it, nor was he ashamed of their age, though he was a little embarrassed about the time and place it had occurred but despite that he didn’t know how he felt about ‘shouting it to the world’ or even about how Koki was likely going to bounce into the room and shot it to Jouyo, they were sure to get teased by the older pairs, Koki would adore the attention while Keiji was sure to be red as a tomato and wanting to hide under the couch.

However despite his feelings the sound of the door opening eventually came.

                                          ~

Souta also walked hand in hand with his boyfriend, behind ageless by about ten minutes, not too much. If Aizawa warned Jouyo or Michiaki more likely, that they were on their way Souta didn’t notice; he wasn’t the considerate type, the only person he was sentimental, sweet or considerate for was Aizawa, no one else was good enough for such feeling from Souta. They buzzed in and headed up next, Souta wondered if the twerps had beaten them there.

                                                -----------------------------------------------------------------------

There Jouyo was feeling nervous and unsure, looking up at his fighter with eyes that displayed such feelings, and it took none other than Michiaki Tomooka to turn the feelings into something more heart warming. Jouyo smiled as his man relished in the knowledge that Jouyo could now see Michiaki’s godly view at a distance. It made the dancer smile subtly, though he feared that Michiaki wasn’t taking Jouyo’s worries to heart. But when that man crossed over, sat next to him, and directed his gaze straight into deep brown forests, Jouyo was washed over with a sense of warmth. Like Michiaki did complete understand what was bothering him and why. He assured him that he would always be there by his side to take care of him no matter what happened. The side of Jouyo that was independent and proud didn’t want to think about the possibility of ever depending on someone else, but the logical side of him knew it would be a necessity if he were to go blind like the doctors have been predicting all of his life. And there Michiaki was in all of his conceited perfectionist embodiment stating that even with Jouyo’s handicap, he would be there. He still, regardless of the disability, would view Jouyo as a flawless god. Jouyo didn’t want Michiaki to ever change. ”...Yes…” he responded in confirmation to Michiaki’s inquiry. Jouyo knew it, though it was still hard to believe, but he managed. Michiaki was still a difficult puzzle to put together in Jouyo’s eyes.

And at the mention of going somewhere to celebrate, Jouyo smiled. ”...I’ll think of somewhere.” he wondered if Michiaki was right; maybe they should be celebrating, at least for the amount of time that he has his sight. But when his phone went off and his fighter referenced Jouyo’s past with Souta, the dancer let out a jovial cackle. He was always so amused by Michiaki’s recurring quarrels with the guy, and enjoyed encouraging them. ”Aww, honey, you don’t think Souta’s at least a little cute?” He chuckled and looked at his phone, glad to see people were on their way. He had been missing their motley crew and kind of looked forward to catching up before they sparred. Relentless had moved in together (something Jouyo wouldn’t outwardly admit that he was extremely jealous of) and new things were happening for Ageless every day. He wanted to hear all about it.

Time passed and indeed Ageless had arrived at Jouyo’s door, Koki bouncing with excitement. Their subway ride had been fun, Koki not noticing that people were staring. He had tried to convince Keiji that he stole the lube from a store but Keiji had gotten to the point where he could tell when Koki was lying and so eventually got Koki to admit that it was given to him by none other than Jouyo. So even though Koki was aware that Keiji probably wasn’t too fond of the dancer right now, he wasn’t thinking much about it and was excited to see him and the look on his face when he saw his earless and tailless state.

Jouyo opened the door to see an image that he not only didn’t expect, but it took a moment to process no matter how clearly he could see it with his eyes. Koki was grinning ear to ear while Keiji looked uncomfortable, and Koki’s head was round on top and there was no short tail swishing behind him like it usually was. Jouyo’s jaw dropped, but then the corners of his lips started to curl up into a smile. ”Holy...s**t…” was his first response. Koki giggled and stepped in, rubbing the top of his head. ”Ya like my new look?” he asked as Jouyo stared down at him in disbelief. Well, it wasn’t so much that he didn’t believe it, but that seeing what he knew was probably going to happen soon was a completely different thing altogether. ”Michi!!” he called out. ”Michi, Michi!! Come ******** look! They lost their ears oh my god!!!” Jouyo grabbed Koki and pulled him in swirling the small boy around, making Koki’s skinny legs trail behind on the floor as he let out a reel of delighted giggles. When they stopped, Jouyo ran his fingers all up in Koki’s hair, feeling the earless state and still continuing to freak out. ”It’s so ******** cute that you two finally ******** I can’t get over it!!” Koki’s eyes were squeezed shut as all the hair fell in his face while Jouyo swished it around and the boy was still laughing almost as if he was being tickled. ”You have to tell me all about it. Every gritty detail. You wanna stay the night tonight?” In the excitement, Jouyo had forgotten about Michiaki’s proposal to take him somewhere. But it was okay because Koki wouldn’t be able to anyway. ”Awww, I can’t! I’m grounded.” Koki frowned emphatically. Plus, he was pretty sure Keiji didn’t want him giving every detail….But hopefully he wouldn’t mind Koki sharing maybe just a couple?

Jouyo released Koki and looked dismayed. ”You’re grounded because you had sex? What a load of bullshit! My mom didn’t ground me when I lost my ears, she just rolled her eyes...But then again….she was an atrocious mother….” Jouyo touched his chin in thought and Koki giggled. ”N-No….it’s not really because of that….More of an issue of location.” Jouyo’s eyes bugged. ”What? Oh my god you have to tell me. Where did you guys do that at?” Jouyo did not look concerned, only overly interested. Koki giggled. ”I-I think I might have said too much...I don’t know what Keiji wants me saying and not saying.” He bit his lip in discomfort and looked over at Keiji before darting over to his side and hooking his arm into his. Jouyo looked devastated and then took a moment to really take in the image of Keiji without ears. Keiji was probably so aggravated with Jouyo for getting so excited and being so intrusive of their private matters, but Jouyo wasn’t concerned about it. ”It’s amazing what being earless can do for a person’s image,” Jouyo said as he continued to look at Keiji. ”You look a lot older, Keiji. Koki, I can’t really say the same for you. Your face is too kiddish so it will take a lot of getting used to for me. But Keiji, this kind of suits you. You finally look as old as you act. We’re gonna have another Aiza.” he stepped closer and invasively put his hand on Keiji’s head and stroked the hair there. Koki laughed because he knew Keiji would hate that. ”Though I will forever miss the ears and the tail you always wrapped around your waist.”

                                                ----------★----------♤----------❤----------

The morning had been glorious for Aizawa Kiyami, because nothing beat waking up next to the love of your life in your own new home followed by a warm, beautiful shower with them. And above all else, Souta seemed to be happy too, which was the most important in Aizawa’s eyes. As they ventured out, Aizawa constantly had Souta’s new condition on his mind. he tried not to think about it, he even tried not to ask about it, for he knew Souta didn’t like being coddled. So for the most part, Aizawa often tried to pretend like it wasn’t something on his mind, though he almost always did look to watch Souta’s hands when he’d reach out for something, or he’d look in concern if his sacrifice bumped into something or someone. It must have seemed odd to anyone if they noticed, and it probably bugged the hell out of Souta, but Aizawa was genuinely trying. It was difficult to find the balance for being concerned while not letting it show too much.

As they approached Jouyo’s nice apartment complex, he realized that he kind of looked forward to seeing everybody. Jouyo annoyed him and Koki stressed him out, but Keiji and Michiaki were nice company to have and even though their sacrifices were big bites for Aizawa to chew, he still cared about them regardless. It had only been a couple of weeks, but because of the move it had felt like forever. He knew there was a big change in their lives during the gap, but Aizawa kind of forgot that there might have been changes in the others’ lives as well. So when he knocked and an excited Koki opened the door instead of the usual Jouyo, Aizawa had to make a double take. The once semi-innocent yet still devil-like adolescent no longer had the physical qualities that kept him in the category of adolescence. Instead of two black pointy feline ears, there was a smoothe hair-covered skull, and no whipping tail behind him. Aizawa’s reaction was expected, he was slightly shocked and unimpressed. He didn’t think it was cute, nor did he feel the urge to congratulate the boy on becoming an adult. Instead, as Souta was making his expected reaction, Aizawa looked up into the apartment to see Keiji sitting down on the couch, no ears or tail as well. Of course, Aizawa expected as much since Koki thought the world of Keiji and no one else and therefore probably would have never done such an act with another person but still...Keiji was the responsible good kid. Only seventeen years old, not even graduated yet. Aizawa didn’t know what to say even though Jouyo was grinning ear to ear.

As Jouyo and Koki continued to excitedly talk to Souta, Aizawa ventured over to the living area and sat next to Keiji. ”Please tell me he didn’t spring this on you in your sleep.” It sounded like it should have been a joke, but it wasn’t. Considering how Keiji opened up to Aizawa the first time a sexual experience occurred between the boys, Aizawa was genuinely worried that Keiji didn’t have much choice in this matter either. So when Keiji assured Aizawa that it was nothing like that, Aizawa was able to sigh in relief. ”As long as there was a mutual consensus. I can’t help but be just a little shocked even after the conversation you had with me. But we had spoken about Koki’s parents and how they’d react. I trust you did this knowing everything would be okay.” When Keiji had asked Aizawa to talk with him that day on Aizawa’s campus, they had spoken a lot about Ageless’s possible predicaments if they lost their ears soon. Aizawa had told Keiji that since they aren’t a normal couple, and they have a kind of bond that most people can’t understand nor will ever have, losing their ears was fine on the moral sense. It had taken a lot of personal development for Aizawa to get to the point of saying something so open-minded, but it was how he felt by that time they spoke. But he did stress to be mindful of how it would affect Koki’s homelife and his future with jobs. being known as “the kid that lost his ears at sixteen” can spread around. But with how Koki was acting, it was obvious no such concerns crossed his mind. ”Congratulations,” Aizawa finally said. He still wasn’t happy with the fact that they were so young and lost their ears, but he also knew that making love to your sacrifice was a beautiful thing that nothing else can compare to. In other words, a congratulations was in order.

On the other side of the room where the sacrifices gathered and chatted, Jouyo kept inquiring and Koki was getting excited. ”So Souta, Koki’s grounded but not because he lost his ears. it’s about where he lost his ears. But he won’t tell me. Help me get it out of him, Souta.” Jouyo stood with a hand on his hip as he narrowed his eyes at Koki, the youngest guy still smiling largely and giggling at Jouyo’s scrutinizing gaze. ”Don’t tell me it was your parents’ bed.” ”EWWW! No! Gross!” ”Well then why won’t you tell me? It’s gotta be pretty ******** bad if you’re grounded over it! Did they walk in on you in the kitchen?” Koki let out a round of laughter. ”Nooo!” ”Public restroom.” ”Nope.” ”Your backyard.” ”Nope.” ”At school.” ”............” Koki stared up at Jouyo with his big eyes, positively nothing to say in return. Jouyo’s mouth dropped, jaw remarkably staying hinged somehow. ”Koki? Did you lose your ears at school?” ”............” ”During school hours?!!” ”............”

Aizawa sat by Keiji observing the scene with eyes that said everything: pure and utter shock. He would expect something like that from Koki, but never that keiji would allow it to happen. In the meantime, Jouyo was doing everything he could not to die. He couldn’t tell if he was overjoyed or horrified. His expression displayed such a thing too. ”Holy ******** Hell are yall expelled??!!” ”No, just suspended...We go back to school after this next week.” Jouyo’s mouth was showing all pearly whites in a Cheshire grin. he dramatically pointed at Koki and looked at Aizawa. ”And you think I’M bad?!!! This kid did the holy grail of bad things!! Standing next to him, I’m a saint!!” Koki was laughing again and Jouyo turned to play with his hair again, making black locks fall in his face once more. ”You’re such a ******** cute little devil. Can I adopt you? I want to keep you.”

And while Jouyo was having his fun, Aizawa was already exhausted and looked up at Michiaki to see how he was taking the situation. Then his eyes turned back to Keiji who looked like he wished the couch would swallow him whole. ”At school, huh?” Aizawa asked quietly. ”Well I hope you learned something... That was a horrible joke. I’m sorry.” There was still the side of Aizawa that wanted to stand up, walk over to Koki, tower over him, and chew him out like a parent...But Koki was grounded….he was suspended from school for two weeks….and he was sure that Keiji, when in the right state of mind, probably already talked to Koki about how irresponsible their action was. Koki was probably aware, and Aizawa was not his father or his big brother. He had been working really hard recently to hold a lot of things back; his worry, his judgemental side, and most of his instincts. So he was exercising such a thing right that very moment. ”By the look on your face, I can tell you’re not too proud of the locale. But the funny thing about the past is that there is nothing we can do to alter it, am I right? I’m glad everything turned out okay with the school board. Koki-chan seems very happy. Though I would keep tighter reigns on him from now on….if I were you.”

The door opened despite Keiji’s inner turmoil and there stood their red-headed stripper friend, and he looked -predictably, shocked, and just as predictably the shock soon turned to excitement and glee. Koki, proudly rubbed the top of his head asking for Jouyo’s opinion while Keiji looked away from the gleeful display. He wasn’t trying to act like the whole thing upset him, because honestly it didn’t, Of course Jouyo would be proud of Koki, Jouyo had given him the lube after all, and even though it urked him that Jouyo had likely influenced Koki a little, he was still slightly grateful since things would have been… less smooth without the stuff, and Keiji was happy for anything that would make an experience less painful or uncomfortable, it had helped a lot, then again if Koki hadn’t had it Keiji might have come to his senses about where they were, and thought better of it, urging they choose a better locale for that sort of thing. None the less what was done was done and Keiji didn’t regret the act itself, nor any of the feelings he had experienced during and after the act, he was actually just embarrassed and the fact that he was embarrassed made him more embarrassed. Jouyo was a stripper, though he had never made money from Sex like Souta he still made money getting other people’s rocks off and had likely had sex plenty in his life, likely since he was Koki’s age, maybe even younger, so getting embarrassed over the one time he and Koki had been together was also embarrassing.

He realized that these feelings of embarrassment were rather ridiculous and he forced his eyes back to the scene in front of him. Michiaki had watched his sexy red haired Minx head off to answer the doorbell but had lingered behind looking out the window at all the bright billboards and signs. Thinking about Jouyo’s vision. He hoped it would remain the way it was now, perfect as Michi’s own, he had meant what he said about being by Jouyo’s side regardless but none the less he wished the best for Jouyo, obviously having his sight was making him happy, and a happy Jouyo would always mean a happy Michiaki, no matter what Michiaki himself was going through so long as Jouyo could smile Michiaki didn’t care how messed up his own circumstances were, all he needed was Jouyo’s smile. The same was true about the times Jouyo was sad though. No matter how well Michiaki’s life was going, seeing Jouyo cry would destroy him in an instant, if there was some way Michiaki could ensure Jouyo’s sight he would but the truth was, despite his godly good looks and power he had no control over Jouyo’s sight and could do nothing but be there for him through the up and downs, if he lost his sight all Michiaki could do was send him to doctors and be there to support him, it made him feel rather powerless… that was why he wanted to make sure Jouyo would celebrate his good sight and not worry about it disappearing. Michiaki would rather Jouyo leave the worrying to him, after all if his sight got worse Jouyo shouldn’t have to worry because Michiaki would be there… Not that he believed for a second his willful sacrifice couldn’t do it without him, Jouyo was much stronger than even Michiaki, and more than strong enough to do it on his own, not that Michiaki would ever that that happen though. Still Michiaki didn't want Jouyo thinking that Michiaki believed Jouyo was helpless without him.

He let out a sigh shaking his head and turning his head toward the exit of the bedroom at a sudden yell from Jouyo. His eyes instantly widened hearing the last sentence ‘lost their ears’. he quickly poked his head down the hallway and sure enough caught sight of Jouyo spinning Koki in a circle, the poor boys legs dangling as if he was on some spinning roller coaster. During said spin he indeed noted no tail trailed behind Koki, and his ears weren’t folded against the gust of wind, Michiaki couldn’t quite see Keiji behind the pair of sacrifices though, so he made his way down the hallway toward the three reaching them by the time Jouyo placed Koki back down, running his hands through the messy mop of black lops. Michiaki’s eyebrows were reaching new heights as he looked Koki up and down, unable to really comprehend and take in the boy without the familiar curled tail and black ears. while Jouyo bussied himself making Koki’s messy hair even messier Michiaki turned his attention to Keiji.

Keiji’s face was already reddening, and the attention wasn’t even focused on him yet, he hated how easily he got embarrassed. His ears darkening along with his cheeks even though Keiji tried to force the redness from his features, Michiaki looked Keiji up and down now, noting how Kieji’s eyes nervously darted to look at Michiaki before looking back at the scene of Jouyo and Koki, obviously uncomfortable with the way Michiaki looked him up and down. Though if Michiaki was being honest he would have to say Keiji looked better without his feline fetures, of course Michiaki somewhat missed them, but Keiji always had his tail wrapped around him when he was standing exercising, or sitting on the couches, the rare times Michiaki had seen it flicking about were when he had sat on a chair, with space for it to move about behind him, and it sometime moved to wrap around Koki’s own are brush his sacrifice in someway, just like Keiji seemed determined to hide the emotions from his face, he was similarly determined to hide them from his tail, so though Michiaki was used to seeing the bright colored belt, it wasn’t a huge loss to have it gone either, and though the ears had been a cute pink color his earless head suited his face a lot better.

Michiaki was drawn away when Jouyo mentioned how the two had finally ‘********’ Michiaki couldn’t help the chuckle, both at how Jouyo had worded his sentence and at how Keiji’s face darkened at the profanity. No matter how grown up he looked without the feline features, Keiji’s red face showed just how young he was. Jouyo continued asking Koki for every gritty detail; Keiji’s face was that of horror and he shook his head back and forth frantically, even though Koki couldn’t see him, his eyes only getting wider when Jouyo asked him to stay the night. Until he couldn’t keep it in ”uh Koki can’t-” He wasn’t speaking loudly and before he could raise his voice or finish Koki told Jouyo he couldn’t since he was grounded. Keiji wasn’t happy he had gotten Koki grounded, but right now it was a god send. Though not sleeping over wouldn’t stop Jouyo from asking for every gritty detail in front of everyone else.

Keiji started to come in taking off his shoes politely and smiling comfortingly towards Koki even though his attention was being taken up by Jouyo at the moment. Michiaki noted Jouyo comment about getting grounded for having sex, had he lost his own ears in high school he would have expected his mother to do the same, at the very least she would probably ground Renji if he pulled the same stunt, and if Michiaki wasn’t mistaken he went to the same school as ageless, and had likely heard about all this. Michiaki would have to make a point to ask Renji if anything ‘exciting’ had happened at school, he would be interested in what Renji would have to say on the whole thing, it might tell him if his brother was the type to do the same though Renji was about to graduate so he doubted it. ”Actually it’s probably a more normal thing for parents to do.” Jouyo was already on about how his own mother was and Michiaki knew Jouyo hadn’t had the best upbringing, but no matter what the case Jouyo had still grown up to be an amazing god like being. What Koki said in reply caused Keiji to trip while taking off his shoe almost falling over and looking back up at the sacrifices in fear once again. He really really wished Koki hadn’t said anything about that. Michiaki also turned, suddenly just as curious as his partner.

”You can’t say that and simply leave us hanging Koki-chan, I’m sure Keiji doesn’t mind.” Michiaki patted the pink haired fighters shoulder, almost making Keiji trip again, he defiantly glared back at Michiaki then Jouyo ”It’s none of your business where it was, and you don’t see why you need to know.” he almost looked like he was pouting, but he still looked worried as well, that Koki would tell them regardless of what Keiji had said. realistically, there was no reason that they couldn’t tell the others, and Keiji hadn’t expressed a want for it to remain secret but he felt embarrassed enough with them even knowing he and Koki had lost their ears in the last week, it was bad enough without them knowing the circumstances of the where and when, and the ‘gritty’ details as Jouyo put it. There was plenty of time to talk about those things, for now it was enough that everyone was going to freak out that they didn’t have ears.

Keiji let out a bit of his worry and discomfort the moment Koki was by his side again, even more so when he hooked their arms. Keiji smiled a little having his sacrifice close and being a little reassured that Koki wasn’t going to tell them right now, and was indeed thinking of Keiji's feelings on the matter. But the smile went away when Keiji felt a pair of eyes looking him over again, this time he seemed Jouyo was inspecting how he looked without ears and a tail. Jouyo had made such a fuss about Koki’s earless head, but Keiji had somehow hoped that Jouyo wouldn’t care about Keiji’s own earless head, however that didn’t seem to be the case as Jouyo mentioned how the lack of the features could change a person’s image, and then he went on to comment on how it made Keiji look. Keiji was a little surprised, he blinked a few times, not sure what to say to everything. He had mixed feeling for Jouyo at this time but having Jouyo tell him his featured matched the way he acted and saying he was going to be another Aiza made him even more mixed up, he wasn’t sure if it was a compliment. Aizawa and Jouyo fought all the time so it likely was an insult still, Keiji looked up to Aizawa in a way so saying he was like Aizawa was a compliment in Keiji’s own opinion. he blinked slowly before forcing an uneasy looking smile on his face and saying ”Uh… thank-you I think.” he was stopped from saying anything else when Jouyo’s hand was suddenly rubbingthe top of his head. He was so shocked that at first he didn’t react.

Michiaki was impressed to hear his own thoughts echoed back when Jouyo spoke, a smiled, at the thought ‘two great minds’ ”I was thinking the same thing, he looks better without the ears I think, sure they were cute and all but this look suits him better.” Keiji was beginning to blush now that both members of shameless were inspecting him like a grocery item. He pushed Jouyo’s hand away and ducked his head to the side. He quickly came up with an excuse to leave their immediate attention ”Uh, I’m going to grab a glass of water, k? and I guess we should sit down while we wait for Souta-san and Aizawa-san. He let Koki go momentarily to get the water ”Koki, want me to grab you anything?” Jouyo usually let them have whatever was in his fridge to drink so Keiji figured it was acceptable that Keiji get it himself.

                                          ~

When they rang the doorbell Souta could here a bit of noise on the other side of the door, but couldn't make it out, his eyebrows knitted together in curiosity, but it was soon quenched when Koki answered the door in place of Jouyo, he had likely ran from wherever he had been to do so, thereby creating the noise. when the door went off Koki had done just that much to Keiji worry, he even made a dissatisfied noise, holding his glass of water and watching as Koki bolted for the door, and Keiji Was forced to await the sounds of surprise, shock and likely jibulation for Souta. Keiji unconsciously sunk himself into the couch as if he could disappear into the fabric, though his pink hair didn’t act as the best camouflage. Michiaki chuckled again at Keiji’s reaction, Keiji shot him a scornful look, not happy being the subject of humor in the moment. Souta was surprised, his eyes went wide a saucers just catching a glimpse of the earless boy before him, he almost couldn’t believe it was Koki. He carefully removed his gloves putting them into his pocket, wanting to feel with his own figners ”Koki… your ears… holy s**t, you guys actually did it.” Souta’s mouth gaped a bit as his hands came out to grope at invisible ears, or the sapce where they were supposed to be, checking to make sure the kid wasn’t wearing a clever cloaking device, but his hands only grasped air. for a second he wore a frown, sad that he would never see the cute little ears again, or see that tail swishing back and forth at unimaginable speed but he then thought about what losing them meant.

Keiji wasn’t in irrational impulsive devil like Koki could be, he had likely thought things through which meant the act wasn’t a sloppy, stupid, or without proper reason, the teens were in love, and likely would be for the rest of their lives so they had done what everyone did when they were in love. They had consummated their relationship, and Kopki was obviously happy so what reason was there for Souta not to be. A dopey grin flew across his face next and he let his arms fall and wrap around Koki instead, squeezing him tightly. ”I’m so happy for you two, you went ahead and did it you must be so happy.” As expected Koki’s answer to Souta’s words were giggly and excited. Keiji sighed from his place on the couch, surprised that the man that used to sell his body had a less vulgar reaction then the stripper had, then again Jouyo had been the one to give Koki the lube.

Souta kicked of his shoes and was led to Jouyo where the three sacrifices began to excitedly congratulate and have a miniature celebration in Koki's honer. Keiji was torn, over being happy because Koki was obviously happy or being annoyed that they were so unfazed by their age and that Souta and Jouyo were likely half the reason Koki had been so pushy about this, not that Keiji believed Koki didn't have his own set of hormones just like Keiji did.

Keiji blew into his glass of water but was brought away from his inner thoughts when Aizawa sat down beside him. asking his question. Keiji blinked for a second then brought the glass away from him shaking his head ”No, he, uh, that is we… I was very awake and I knew what things were leading up to, that is he didn’t jump me really I had plenty of time to stop him but I didn’t…. I didn’t want to. we both uh...” his face was darkening again, his ears felt hot. Michiaki now began laughing, Aizawa continued before Keiji could work up the nerve to. Keiji listened to what Aizawa had to say then nodded ”Yeah I mean… I got his parents blessing for our relationship beforehand… though I would say I did things knowing everything would be okay but I had been saying no for so long I just couldn’t say it again… it’s not like he had to twist my arm either I was uh…” Michiaki was distracting Keiji horribly since he was still barely holding back his laughs ”In other words you were just as eager as he was, you might not act it but I’m certain you must be a closet Sex fiend.” Michiaki maden this joking accusation quietly that it could be heard over the sacrifices question game that was going on but Keiji unfortunately heard it just fine. His face instantly darkened a good six shades. He hadn’t expected that from Michiaki but perhaps that’s why they were both called ‘shameless. ”Oh like you’d be able to do any better resisting Jouyo in my situation” It was said as a quickened angry bark as he glared slightly at Michiaki who only chuckled in reply putting his hands up as a statement of ‘coming in peace’ ”I wouldn’t have lasted a day. really you did well.” Keiji groaned putting the glass to his lips again as if it would hide his embarrassment.

While Keiji had been only half listening to the sacrifices he was starting to pick up one what Jouyo was guessing at; the location of the deed. Though their was no guarantee he’d guess it. Jouyo had told Souta that they had tog et the location after him so while Jouyo asked his many locations Souta prodded Koki in the side with each questing, like he imagined a cop would to emphasis the question, he was also less than two inches from the boys face, trying to detect if Koki was lying. Though he wasn’t paying it much mind he did wonder if Aizawa had noted that his gloves were still off. Souta was having no trouble controlling his powers now, there was no room in his brain for an accidental memory breakthrough he was too focused on interrogating Koki, and the boy had likely showered that day and cleaned his clothes, there wasn't that much risk touching Koki after all he hadn’t lost his ears that morning. When the final First mention of school came up Souta was still prodding him but his hand stopped when Koki didn’t answer. Keiji’s head whipped around to look at Jouyo fast enough that Michiaki worried he’d snap his neck, what with Koki’s silence and Keiji’s reaction Michiaki would bet his fortune that Jouyo had hit the nail on the head.

Jouyo continued tyo ask about school while Souta’s mouth simply fell open, even he thought doing it in school was bad, and not to mention dangerous. Jouyo instantly asked if they were expelled but Souta doubted it ”No way, they can’t expel you for that, for all they know you left school grounds… unless they walked in on you?” He knew teens that had lost their ears at school, at the time it had grossed him out. But they had gotten out of it since the teachers couldn’t prove they had actually done the deed on school grounds. still they got in trouble for causing trouble but nothing crazy, then again a smart kid like Keiji might go to a nicer school with stricter rules, and bitchier teachers, and principals. Koki thankfully relieved them though, stating they were only suspended. Souta shook his head back and forth still shocked. he looked over at Keiji. The pink haired fighter felt mortified, his face pale rather than red, Souta wondered if he was going to be sick. Now they knew and Keiji would have to deal with it, as if to make things worse Souta snickered teasingly ”Wow Keiji-kuuuun I expected much better of you. I mean you know Koki will do whatever you say… you're actually a closet delinquent aren’t you? Or maybe a voyeurist, do you get your rocks off knowing you might be caught?”

Keiji went from mortified to enraged quickly, and he was just about ready to throw the glass in his hand at Souta who had began snickering ”Breath fairy-boy I’m only teasing, but seriously, when did you grow a pair the Keiji I knew would never do anything like that. The both of you, that’s bad, badder than even me in high school. I’m with Jou on this one, we look like white turtle doves compared to you two right now. He was of course joking, the things he did after high school were obviously worse, sure he hadn’t had sex in highschool but he had illegally sold sex and made a small fortune off of it, which was a smidgen worse than breaking even the biggest school rule.

’theyreonlyteasingtheyreonlyteasingtheyreonlyteasingtheyreonlyteasingtheyreonlyteasing’ Keiji closed his eyes and chanted this a few times in his head trying not to shatter the glass in his hand and slowly relaxing against the couch again. He came out of his chanting to Aisawa’s tasteless joke, to which he met with an unimpressed expression, even though Aizawa apologized, but what Aizawa said next eased him a little. It was true, freaking out about everyone that found out was no good, he couldn’t change the real locale and it wasn’t likely he could hide it forever however the comment about reigns made him chuckle ”You think i control him? HA! it more like he has me wrapped around his finger.” Aizawa had to know what Keiji meant, after all Aizawa was wrapped around Souta’s finger the same way. Michiaki had his head thrown back against his chair as he laughed uncontrollably at the moment’s revelations looking up when Jouyo began asking if he could adopt Koki ”We ought to adopt him, he’ll never get grounded for having sex again.” Thankfully they were just joking, because Michiaki really wasn’t ready for that sort of commitment, he still had to work on getting them to live together.

Keiji seemed thoroughly embarrassed and while it looked like the sacrifices were enjoying themselves thoroughly Michiaki felt the need to push away from the topic of the earless boys, Keiji’s sanity might actually be on the line if they continued, that or Keiji would finally lose it and try and hit either Jouyo or Souta. If he hit Souta Michiaki would thoroughly enjoy the ape being taken down by the so called ‘fairy-boy’ but he didn’t want to risk Keiji hitting Jouyo, though he doubted Keiji could land the punch, Jouyo was stronger and faster and now had perfect eyesight. He smiled but sobered up, ready to convince the others. ”fun as it is making Keiji’s head explode I think it’s best we change topics, after all Keiji and Koki aren’t the only ones that went through a change since last we met, Relentless are now cohabiting, so I must ask Aizawa-san what is it like living with an ape? I hope it isn’t too stressful” His question gained the desired reaction, a hard glare from Souta, ensuring that he wouldn’t continue teasing Ageless over their earless status. Keiji sent Michiaki and thankful look before allowing himself to laugh at Souta’s change in expression.

”I’m sure it’s no more trouble then the trouble Jouyo goes through dealing with the delusional god.” Michiaki smiled confidently ”what do you know, your a chimp, and a chimp just can’t comprehend gods such as myself and Jouyo-sama, it’s simply impossible for your microscopic brain.” Souta rolled his eyes shaking his head, there was no use arguing with the delusional ex-CEO.

Souta instead simply helped ask the initial question ”We still have some shopping to do but we’re settled in, right aiza-kun?”

                                                -----------------------------------------------------------------------

When the subject was changed, Koki was slightly disappointed, as receiving all that attention and merriment was fun for the youngest adult in the room. But what Michiaki said had Aizawa’s attention, and caused the green-eyed monster living within Jouyo’s stomach to squirm. Relentless had indeed moved in together recently, something that jouyo pretended he didn’t want with Michiaki but secretly did. He was too prideful, and was self-gratified that he was living in a place he paid for, the likes of which most Japanese men his age could not yet or ever afford. However, he was still haunted by the fact that he’d never even been given a key to Michiaki’s place even though he’d given his fighter one to his place over half a year ago, even after Jouyo had expressed exactly how much he liked Michiaki’s place and often requested to be taken there. He was aware that the place was filled with unpleasant memories living with a woman he didn’t love, but Jouyo thought that their love should be powerful enough to override all of those memories and therefore Michiaki would have given him a god-damned key by now. Jouyo had to subtly shake his head and turn around to go get water, or anything to make it look like he was preoccupied by anything except the feeling of jealousy for Relentless.

Aizawa’s eyes widened slightly at the “living with an ape” joke, but Souta took care of defending himself well enough. ”We still have some shopping to do but we’re settled in, right Aiza-kun?” Aizawa looked at Souta with a gentle smile. The experience of moving had been stressful, and hard work, but ultimately rewarding. ”Very much so.” He looked at the others. ”We’d love to have all of you over to see the place. I’m very fond of the apartment we selected.” ”Yeah! I wanna see it,” Koki chimed in, walking over to where Keiji sat and sitting between him and Aizawa. ”So have yall fought over living differences yet? Like how to face the toilet paper and where to put certain food items in the cupboards? My cousin Choko said she used to argue with her college roommates about that kind of stuff when first moving in with them.” Aizawa thought for a second and chuckled. ”I think we have differences to compromise on, but nothing has caused anything so dramatic as a falling out. Hopefully nothing will.” He smiled again at Souta. Jouyo nearly felt like he could crush the glass of water in his hand. Why was this bothering him so much? It’s not that he wanted to fight with Michiaki over where to put the towels after using them, but the fact that they’d been together much longer than Relentless and yet Relentless were the ones moving in together already….But then again he also realized that he only became official with Michiaki very recently while Relentless had been “boyfriends” for far longer...Jouyo suppressed a sigh and resumed his usual position when everyone was catching up and sat in his king’s lap, crossing his legs and lounging back.

Koki took Keiji’s hand into his and looked wistfully up toward an imaginary sky beneath the ceiling. ”I can’t wait to be able to live with Magic Boy. The idea of falling asleep beside him every night then waking up beside him every morning….It’s gotta be the best feeling in the world to know that after you’re done with whatever you gotta do that day that you can come home to your favorite person in the world. I hate being sixteen. I wanna be eighteen already so I can move out!” Aizawa grimaced. ”You just became an adult, Koki-chan, slow down. I’m sure your parents don’t want you to become eighteen any faster than normal.” But then Aizawa saw Souta make a face at him. Truthfully, Aizawa had no room to talk. He was sixteen when he got fed up with his father and moved out into some apartments. He still wasn’t on the best of terms with his father, but he knew that what he did had hurt his father a lot. And there was a side of Aizawa that felt rather guilty for doing that to the man that dealt with the frustration of raising a mute that did nothing but hassle him, particularly after losing his wife. It was something Aizawa tried not to think about very much, because he hated being wrong and he even worse hated realizing he was wrong all on his own. A voice in his head said he needed to meet with his father, maybe even introduce him to Souta. Kiyami-san, after all, had accepted Akio and treated him like one of the family during the times they saw one another at Aizawa’s mother’s hospital. He knew that his father would treat Souta with the same respect.

”If my mom could have it her way, I’d still be five. She has a gigantic photo album titled ‘Koki; Five Years of Age’ and it’s packed with nothing but boring pictures of me and she rambles about how that was my cutest age. She says she wishes she would have strapped books to my head to keep me from growing. My mom’s weird.” Koki shook his head, and Aizawa smiled. His own mother Orika had been very similar. ”She loves you. that’s a good thing.” Koki stuck his tongue out difiantly. Aizawa, still smiling, looked up at Michiaki once more. ”Anyway, yes the move has been nice. Now that we have us and Ageless out of the way, has Shameless experienced any changes since the last we met?” Jouyo scoffed. ”Hardly. This guy hasn’t even offered me a spare key to his place yet, even though I’ve given him one to mine ages ago.” Jouyo rolled his eyes and shrugged his shoulders. ”He must not want me over there. Anyway, the only change I can speak of is my eyesight is perfect now, as if Houdini rose from the dead and did some s**t to magically give me 20/20 sight. Makes no sense. My doctors don’t even know what happened. ******** medical miracle right here, wooo~” Jouyo’s last line sounded very sarcastic, thus making something that sounded like it should be good news sound like cumbersome news...as if jouyo wasn’t near thrilled. Truthfully, it was mainly his mood that affected the delivery of his news and he had purposefully slipped in the bit about the spare key so Michiaki would hear it and possibly feel in a panic. Now that Jouyo said it out loud, he didn’t want a key anymore. He just vindictively wanted Michiaki to know that he screwed up. Jouyo oftentimes wasn’t a very merciful or logical god.

However, the news had everyone wide-eyed and blinking. Aizawa sat straighter up. ”Wait. Excuse me? Can you repeat that?” Jouyo looked lazily over at him. ”Which part?” Aizawa’s jaw was agape. ”You...You can see now?! Just fine? Weren’t you legally blind before?” ”Yup,” Jouyo shrugged, titling his glass of water and letting the liquid swirl around inside. ”No idea why, either. I haven’t changed anything. This started a couple months ago. I’m not even wearing contacts right now and I can see everything clearly.” ”A couple months ago...You confessed your love to Michiaki and allowed him into your life as more than just a lover.” Jouyo’s eyes screwed in scrutiny, looking straight at Aizawa. ”That’s a strange connection to make right off the bat like that.” Aizawa shook his head. ”Not really, when you think about it. It boggled my mind that you couldn’t feel Michiaki’s aura until you two began to become closer and then suddenly you could feel him one day. I strongly theorize that our connections to each other as fighters and sacrifices have more of an effect than just what we already know. It’s why I became a medical engineer. When my mother was put into a coma after a battle, when you are supposed to leave battles without any trace of the things that happened within the battle, it made me think that things can become imbalanced and affect us in a way that modern science can’t possibly detect. So when you told us about being able to sense Michiaki’s aura, it made me wonder. This makes me wonder even more.”

Jouyo’s eyes got wide and he tensed. ”Yeah, yeah, I had the same suspicion when all this s**t started to happen but I’m not gonna become a test guinea pig for you if that’s what you think.” Aizawa chuckled and pouted. ”You could help me change medical science as we know it.” ”You’re not cutting me up and doing weird things to me!” ”Just what exactly do you think I’d want to do?” Aizawa’s brows screwed and he looked slightly amused by Jouyo’s defiance. ”I’m simply working off of theories. I don’t want to cut anyone up. However, I do want to someday invent a machine that can help people like my mother and you. I think there are probably more like you two in the world. Whatever it is that sets all of us up as sentouki and sacrifice, it’s a magnificent force but I don’t think it has created a perfect design. Just like nature itself is not perfect, and medical science has been able to help people in the way nature fails.” Jouyo sighed. ”Okay whatever.” Aizawa paused. ”Other than that, congratulations on your improved eyesight.” Jouyo shrugged. ”I’m not holding my breath. What if my eyesight doesn’t stay? I just have a bad feeling about this.” ”I certainly hope it stays. But if it doesn’t, will you let me examine you? This is the kind of thing that I would like to prevent from happening. I wonder how many other people in the world are suffering ailments that doctors can’t pinpoint because of imbalances with their fighter or sacrifice.” Jouyo’s brows pierced and he took another sip of water. ”Fine. Congratulations. You have yourself a guinea pig.” Aizawa chuckled once more. ”I would never think of you as a guinea pig, Jouyo-san.”

When Michiaki changed the subject his attention was focused on Aizawa’s answer to Michiaki’s teasings, but his attention changed focus when Jouyo stood and headed to the kitchen for water. his eyes following his sacrifice. Michaki had wanted to live with Jouyo for a long time now, he wanted to move to a new place of course, he disliked his current living style. He should have moved already but he would wait to move until Jouyo seemed ready for them to live together. He knew Jouyo loved his current apartment, and it had become their meeting place but Michiaki wanted the excitement of moving into a new place together like Relentless had. However it had taken Jouyo very long just to admit to them being a couple, he doubted Jouyo was ready for living together yet, he was happier paying for his own apartment, using it to host relentless and Ageless…. Michiaki wondered if Jouyo would ever be ready, or more importantly how Michiaki would be able to tell, Michiaki knew that asking Jouyo too soon would probably cause a fight and might even upset his red haired lover something he hated doing but if he didn’t ask how would he know. It wasn’t like Jouyo to ask first and even though his sacrifice could read Michiaki’s emotions Michiaki couldn’t do the same. He tried not to use his special ability on his partner -it was unfair and sometimes unreliable when it came to Jouyo, but perhaps he would try after everyone else left for now he would have to wait, Now was not the time to ask Jouyo such an important question.

Michiaki sat back watching jouyo while listening to the conversation, a thumb stroking his coarse chin. he longed to have such petty arguments with Jouyo, because bickering was something that defined them as a couple, and there was always angry sex, or make up sex… in the end Michiaki knew he’d likely fold to Jouyo if any such argument came up.

Souta thought about what he and Aiza-kun had done differently, but the great thing about Souta was he had no presets, he didn’t care that much about which way the toilet paper went, or whether doors were closed when they went to the washroom, he was flexible about anything, he would never put any energy into fighting about it either, he’d just shrug it off and do it Aiza’s way. Though he admitted to himself that he might have habits he’d fight for, they just hadn’t come up yet. Thinking about it there was a habit he still couldn’t shake that would tick off Aizawa -his smoking, he only did it when he was stressed out, usually after he got a headache. Experimenting with his power often left his head pounded and his attitude irate he had similar problems when he spend a serious amount of time thinking about his future, he didn’t want to accidently take Aiza’s head off so he’d light up a cigarette instead. Yes Aiza hated him smoking but in Souta’s mind it was better then ended up yelling at Aiza for something he didn’t deserve, besides it wasn’t that often, at most three times a week. Three cigarettes a week was nothing. he’d likely keep telling himself that and yet after a cigarette he’d change his clothes and brush his teeth just to make sure Aiza wouldn’t smell the smoke when he came home. So while Souta didn’t care about little things lioke chores around the house, toilet paper, making the bed and taking off his shoes he had to remember their were habits that they might fight about but he was confident they could get through it. ”My parents used to bicker about things like that how to face cutlery in the dishwasher and that but I don’t think me and Aiza will bicker about that stuff, the honest truth is I’m too lazy to dispute small things like that and it really makes no difference to me.” After he said it he realized it might have sounded wrong, like he was bending backwards for Aiza but that wasn’t the case, Aizawa was the one that would go out of his way to agree with Souta, so they just hadn’t found anything to fight about.

Keiji was a little surprised that neither Souta or Aiza had found things to bicker about, somehow he thought that Souta would disagree with aiza just because. He knew they were in love and all that but Souta teased everyone so he must tease Aiza at home right? Though when Souta piped up about being too lazy to fight Keiji agreed with that thought, Souta was rather laid back for the most part so it was believable that he just did whatever suited Aizawa. Michiaki’s eyes continued to follow Jouyo, even as he sat back on Michiaki’s lap. Michiaki’s arm moved to rest around Jouyo’s hip not so badly that he looked like he was hugging Jouyo, but just enough that it seemed that was the intent. he wanted nothing more than to hug the dancer from behind and ask him if they could live together too, but now was not the time, though it was the right place.

Koki’s wish to be eighteen came out and Keiji smiled softly when Koki took his hand and complained. Keiji also couldn’t wait till they were old enough and able to live together but he also didn’t want Koki growing up too fast. His mother only had two years left until Koki would want to ‘leave the nest’ ”You shouldn’t rush it, I’ll be happy when we are old enough to live together of course, but your parents should be able to take care of you till you’re eighteen, your mom will miss you if it comes too soon. Besides we still haven't picked what we’re goign to college for, or if we’re going and where we want to live... “ There were still so many uncertainties about their futures, Keiji still had no idea what he wanted to be if it wasn’t a CEO and he hadn’t even wanted to be that. It was strange to think he and Souta were in the same place, thinking about what to do. Koki probably hadn’t given it much thought yet,and he was much more easy going, he’d find something he’d like and just pour himself into it, no nights spent laying awake thinking, no pacing, and no headaches from thinking where that path would lead, what his backup was or what school to go to, he’d just pick one close to Keiji. keiji envied how Koki never worried about things like he did, but he was getting used to it, Keiji knew he worried more than most people, not just Koki.

Koki piped up about his mom wanting him to be five forever, michiaki was a little weirded out that his mom was that obsessed with Koki’s five year old self, then again he had never had his parents take many photos of him, mostly just family portraits at a photo studio and a few of him in his school uniforms. Keiji couldn’t help but laugh at Koki and smile at Aizawa’s comment, Koki’s mother did love him more then Koki seemed to understand. Keiji only had his baby pictures to look at, all taken by his dad and some by his mom before his father had passed away, after that Keiji had been in charge of the camera and he and Kaede had taken pictures of each other growing up, that meant a lot of them were of people’s feet and just their pink hair, neither of them were good with a camera but he had still gotten them all developed. Souta laughed at that ”Not as weird as you think, my mom was the same with all of us, she loved me when I was eight or nine, and Ritsu when he was four… All moms do it, they never want as to grow up and become policemen, business men or delinquents.” He smirked at the last one, in his case his mom probably wished the hardest for him to be that little boy again. Michiaki had almost forgotten that Souta had been from a normal family, he wondered what had happened to make Souta himself so strange. Keiji was jealous of both Kokin and Souta now for having families that cared a lot about their kids. Michiaki on the other hand was no thinking about buying a good camera, so that they could cherish pictures from a time when Jouyo sight was perfect, just incase his symptoms relapsed. he didn’t care about Jouyo’s age because he was certain Jouyo would always have his godly looks no matter how physically aged he was, he would always be beautiful.

Aizawa helpfully moved the attention from himself and souta asking if Michiaki and Jouyo had anything change. Michiaki rose an eyebrow to this, he wished he could say ‘we’re thinking of moving in together as well’ It was not so but Michiaki wished it was. he couldn’t help it, after hearing about the other pairs wanting to wake up together and come home to one another… Michaki sighed and Jouyo spoke up before he could figure out what news to report on. The first sentence from his sacrifice’s lips mentioned how Michiaki hadn’t even given him a key, and how he didn’t want Jouyo around. With Jouyo sitting in his lap facing forward he didn’t see how fast Michiaki’s eyes went from longing to absolute fear… His heart dropped, even as Jouyo went on to talk about his eyes. Keiji ever the observant noticed the way Michiaki’s face changed, but couldn’t offer any help So he just swallowed looking away, wondering if Aizawa had accidentally started a fight that would come after everyone was gone. Michiaki hadn’t seen that coming. They were likely the type that would bicker about everything if they moved in together. After all they were both very stubborn and proud and while Michiaki obvious bowed at Jouyo feet, he still called himself a god and therefore would probably stand up for his preferences… though he wondered if they’d ever actually move in together if Michiaki hadn’t even given Jouyo a key to his place. It also got Keiji to thinking that he should give Koki a key to his place. While Koki’s house actually belonged to Koki’s parents, with how seldom his mother came home giving Koki a key wouldn’t be a bad thing, since it was only ever Keiji and Kaede’s house.

While everyone else smartly seemed to be paying attention to Jouyo’s news about his eyes Souta couldn’t help but burst into snickers when Jouyo mentioned not receiving a key, and Michiaki’s face looked like a deer caught in headlights, obviously Michiaki the god had ******** up. What was it people said differed gods from mortals… to err is human? ”You don’t even have his key, some god Michiaki is, doesn’t it go ‘to err is to be human’? That make you not a god right? Michiaki glared at souta shaking his head back and forth nto wanting to explore that topic while everyone was here. He’d work it out with Jouyo sama when everyone else was gone, he’d much prefer that Aizawa put his sacrifice in a good mood, congratulating him on his eye sight. Souta noticed Michiaki and continued to laugh quietly to himself but deciding not to open his mouth again. Though if they went sparing Souta would love to see Jouyo land a good hit on the CEO and he could think of a few good ways to do it.

Aizawa thankfully moved on to try and convince Jouyo that his improving sight was due to his closeness with his fighter, Michiaki liked the idea, he could use it when asking Jouyo to live with him and hopefully that would save him from some of Jouyo fury. Realistically he had forgotten about the key bit but he also never saw his current apartment as his dwelling anymore, it was just a temporary place until they moved in together and he had been wishing to get a new place with Jouyo all along so the idea of giving him a key to his temporary home had never occurred. Obviously Jouyo had taken that as hurtful and now Michiaki would have to fix it. he hated that Souta would call him human, because he wasn’t he was just a foolish god, it wasn’t impossible for gods to make an error, after all he was nothing but a lowly warm compared to Jouyo-sama’s godly grace but he still believed himself above the humans in the room. Aizawa’s excited talk about taking a look at Jouyo’s brain made the conversation take a turn for the ‘weird’. Now Michiaki’s arm wrapped around Jouyo a little more. His sacrifice was not a test subject to be dissected, he of course was on the same page as Jouyo when Jouyo told aizawa he wouldn’t be a guinea pig, and wouldn’t be dissected ”His godly body and mind are not for humans eyes, there will be no dissection or experimentation.”

Souta was snickering again even as Aizawa defended himself asking what they were thinking he would do. Then things got more serious and Souta’s face grew softer watching Aiza talk about helping people like his mom and Jouyo. His still ungloved hand found Aiza’s and held it, Aizawa had told Souta his story, about what happened to his mother. Souta wished it would stop hurting aizawa, but there wasn’t anything he could do to help him. If looking into Jouyo’s brain would help find a cure for Aiza’s mother Souta would assist in holding the red head down if need be. But as Aizawa further talked about how exciting it could be and Jouyo mentioned he had ‘a bad feeling’ about his eyesight., Aizawa tried to reassure him and Jouyo buckled saying he would be a test subject, which surprised Michiaki some, he hadn’t expected Jouyo to fold, then again if Aizawa was seriously looking into how fighters and sacrifices could help with disabilities or illnesses, maybe it would be a good idea. If Aiawa could tell them something the doctors couldn’t, if he could find a way from Jouyo to always have his sight then maybe. ”If you can tell us a way to keep his eyesight then I’m all for it, I would even sponsor it, after all I work for a pharmaceutical company, we fund several research institutions, yours would just be one more. Especially if that one can help pairs, I have more interest in that field then many of the others we fund.

Keiji nodded his agreeance. “My life has improved since meeting Koki again but I wouldn’t say it was a medical breakthrough. Though I’d like to see if a pair can medically help each other.”
He smiled softly still looking at Koki. According to Koki’s moher Keiji had made Koki happier, and what with Koki being Manic they might be connected but probably not, Koki was just happier because they were together and likely for all the same reasons Koki made Keiji happy. The room seemed very serious, something Souta figured they should get away from ”So what’s the plan for today, hand to hand combat or magic dueling?” Souta pressed his lips looking around the room ”Right, I think we should start with hand to hand combat since last time all we did was watch me fight Aizawa-san, so I suppose we’re going for another car ride. After we get tired of that we’ll see if we have the energy to spar the other way.” And after that he and Jouyo were going to have to have a long talk about their living situation. Hopefully if Jouyo was tired he wouldn’t have the energy to be too mad. Michaiki hadn’t meant to upset him or make him feel that he was unwanted, but if he had to be honest he actually didn’t want to see Jouyo in his house, because he didn’t even like seeing himself there. He wanted to see both of them in somewhere new, but before now he couldn’t bring up living together, if Jouyo wasn’t ready it would have started a fight, but now it seemed not talking about it had started a fight. He loved everything about Jouyo, but he did find he was walking on eggshells when it came to moving ahead in their romantic relationship. However if jouyo’s eyesight really was improving because of their relationship deepening then it mean that living together would only make it better, so perhaps he could breach the subject for the first time.

Souta was enjoying himself thoroughly sitting back and watching everyone’s reactions to various things, he didn’t much like the idea of physically exerting himself, he was looking forward to watching Aizawa’s sweat sheened skin and possibly getting the chance to see him shirtless as well. So he was the one to call ”To the car!” And get up with a smile. Michiaki looked annoyed by this ”That’s my car, I give the order, but we should get going” Souta stuck out his tongue at the business man as he stood and looked back watching Aiza rise as well. He put one glove back on but kept one hand ungloved and tight around Aizawa’s own, not sure how Aizawa was feeling after talking about his mother. Keiji rose too with Koki Stretching, and pulling his excited sacrifice along. Michiaki was last to rise after Jouyo but before Jouyo could follow the group he leant forward and let his arm wrap around jouyo’s waist to hold him there. ”We’ll talk about our living arrangement once they’re all gone, I’m sorry if my not giving you a key hurt you, I didn’t mean for it to harm or disrespect you in anyway, there’s a reason I never thought to give you a key but can we talk about it later?” He said this quietly in Jouyo’s ear after the others were already too far to over hear. From the door Souta looked back while putting on his shoes, little curious why they were taking a while ”Oy, what’s taking so long? I think you’re the one with a licence so we need you to drive.” He smiled teasingly ”Unless of course you wanna let me try to drive.”

Michiaki kissed behind Jouyo’s ear before letting him go and moving forward ”I think not, I’ll drive thank-you. You’d probably get us all killed.” Souta snickered and pretended to race for the driver’s seat, inadvertently trying to cheer the Ex-CEO up. When they got down to the parking, they piled into the car in the usual way, the kids sharing the front seat with Aiza’s much too big body in the middle between Jouyo and Souta. They headed for the same gym as before, and were once again lead by Michiaki who rented a section for an hour then they went to get padding. ”Guess what Koki, you don’t have to wear all those pads this time, since your injuries have healed up” He was happy to see his sacrifice had something t be excited about, of course Keij sort of wanted Koki to continue wearing all the padding, since he didn’t want to see Koki get hurt every i it was from friendly sparring, but he pads made it hard for Koki to fight anyways.

Souta also wore few pads, but he did make sure as little skin was exposed as possible. He was a lot better at dealing with contact now, but he knew leaving his skin exposed would distract Aizawa and not inthe fun sexuallly attracted kind of way, but instead the blond would be worrying constantly, something Souta knew he did too much of. They then all helped pull out the ground mats to practise on.

                                                -----------------------------------------------------------------------

                                                ~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~+~

It had been just about six months since Aizawa very coincidentally bumped into his sacrifice at none other than a host club, enamored by both his natural and trained charms. Six months would usually seem like a short amount of time to any twenty-five year old man. But for Aizawa, it had already felt like a lifetime, and he couldn’t believe he was finally going to move into an apartment with his and Souta’s name on the lease. They were going to fall asleep beside one another every night and then wake up beside one another too. Aizawa could only be remorseful that he had to wait one more night because he was currently in his dorm that he shared with Tatsuya, all of his things already boxed up.

Tatsuya, after helping Aizawa pack up the last few things, sat in the main area with a beer in hand and gestured for Aizawa to sit with him and watch television. Aizawa indeed sat down and lounged back, his long legs stretching to rest atop the coffee table, a lax position he didn’t really do in front of people who were Tatsuya, and he breathed out heavily as if all of his exhaustion was escaping him in one exhale. ”Nervous?” Tatsuya asked in his generally nonchalant tone he always carried in his voice. Aizawa looked at him briefly before answering, analyzing his response before he spoke it. ”I supposed, in a way, yes.” Tatsuya nodded his head. ”You’re handling it better than I would be if I were moving in with a girlfriend or something. I’d be perpetually shitting my pants.” Aizawa ignored the vulgarity of the statement. ”Well, living with Souta-san is not something to be that intensely anxious about. I just hope…I hope like hell that he’s happy with the arrangement and stays happy. And being around him more often means more opportunity for me to horrendously mess up again.” Tatsuya snickered. ”Oh yeah didn’t he break up with you for like a week or something one time?” Aizawa paled and he almost looked flabbergasted at his roommate’s question. ”It wasn’t a break up, he just needed…”” ”....a break??” Aizawa’s brows pierced downward at the guy. ”Some time to think.” Tatsuya laughed and took a swig of beer. ”Sounds like a temporary break up to me.”

Aizawa felt sick, for those were some of his worst memories back when that had happened and now his friend was making fun of him. Tatsuya shook his head and snickered once more. ”I’m just messin’ with ya, man. Whether it was a break up, a break, or time to think, it means a hell of a lot that he actually decided to stay with you regardless. Any time a girl did that to me or I did that to a girl, we never reunited. So I mean, that means it’s special right?” It was a big step for Tatsuya to talk about a homosexual relationship so comfortably, but Aizawa had debunked all of his preconceived notions on guy men, so he felt more at ease on the subject since finding out. ”Plus, it was only a week.” ”A week and two full days,” Aizawa corrected him. The extra two days were an important fact! Because they were just as torturous as the other seven. Tatsuya laughed. ”Why do you have to worry about the technicalities?” He shook his head. ”Anyway, you learned your lesson, right? So I’m sure you won’t ever piss him off to that degree again.” Aizawa let out another exhale, envisioning all of his nerves as an invisible substance leaving his body. Aizawa tried to make it seem like he didn’t still worry about Souta’s stability with him, so when he was around someone like Tatsuya, he was a little more honest.

”Just don’t let this mean we won’t see you anymore,” the soon-to-be ex-roommate continued. Aizawa smiled and shook his head. ”I won’t deny that the distance is going to make me less frequent, but it’s not going to make me a stranger. Plus, I’d like for yall to come over sometime after we’ve settled. Maybe for a dinner and movies. We were able to snag a surprisingly spacious apartment.” ”Sweet.” He thought for a second. ”Don’t invite Nana, though.” Aizawa nearly looked appalled. ”Of course I’ll invite Nana.” Tatsuya shook his head. ”Don’t. Yui told me Nana broke up with her boyfriend recently because she said she still wasn’t over you being with Takashi and she felt like it was wrong to play him like that. Supposedly she cried for like two days.” Aizawa looked like the wind had been knocked out of him. ”You’re kidding, right?” ”Nope. You’re a heartbreaker, bud.” Aizawa closed his eyes and let his head rest on the top edge of the couch, the frustration evident in his expression. ”Oh boo-hoo, look at me I’m Aiza and everyone wants me and I hate it, wah-wah…” Tatsuya teased in a boring, monotone voice, making Aizawa open a single eye that glared at him. ”I mean if you wanted to shed some of that magnitude and donate it to me, I wouldn’t argue.” ”Shut up. You have a new girlfriend every few weeks.” Tatsuya shrugged and lounged back like Aizawa.

”Congrats, though,” he added. Aizawa smiled to himself and opened his eyes to watch the television. ”Arigato.” Silence fell between them as they both focused on the television before them, Aizawa’s face growing more and more confused at the overly-goofy tv show played across the screen with loud noises and silly faces. ”How can you watch this?” Tatsuya shrugged. ”I like it because I don’t have to use my brain.”

”Souta-san,” Aizawa said gently with a smile upon meeting Souta inside the loft, and he leaned in to gently place a kiss on his boyfriend’s cheek. ”Yo,” Tatsuya said in greeting, following behind. Aizawa straightened. ”Tatsuya agreed to help us move. It’ll be nice to have the extra pair of hands. Didn’t you say you had someone helping as well?” He hoped Souta couldn’t sense it: his nervousness. It wasn’t Souta that made him nervous, per se, but rather it was his own self. He had nightmares of moving in with Souta and doing something terribly wrong again and forfeiting their relationship. Aizawa was trying to “act cool” much like he tried when he first met him, doing his best to hide his paranoias.

                                Moving day was upon them, Souta was both extremely excited and extremely reluctant for the day to begin. On one hand he'd be out of the loft, with a much bigger space to call his own, not to mention he'd finally be living with Aizawa, waking up and coming home to him every single day, but the down side was that this day in particular promised manual labor which was something Souta never looked forward to, he liked his scrawny body the way it was. That being said he had worried about not being that useful for lifting furniture or heavy boxes, so Souta was grateful that he and Aizawa wouldn't be doing the work alone, since that would have meant Aizawa would have to do all the hard work and Souta would feel guilty as the day went one. Tatsuya would be helping since he had been Aizawa's previous roommate, and thankfully the other male was strong enough to help Aizawa unlike Souta. Souta had also convinced Kameko to come help out, not that it took much, he remembered back to the phone call he had with her about the big day;

"Hey Kameko, just wanted to remind you we're moving on Wednesday, wanted to know if you wanted to come help me move again." She had after all come when he moved from his old apartment and into the loft, she didn't get a chance to talk to Aizawa much then because she had to leave soon after to get Maria, so unfortunately Aizawa and Kameko hadn't met yet, which had suited Souta since his friend could be a little.... much for other people and he was terrified of what sort of stories Kameko would tell Aizawa about his past. Aizawa knew about his past, but not in the same amount of detail Kameko remembered it in.

"Ew why would I want to come to that, lifting things and you two being all lovely dovey. I have nothing against you being gay but it's not much fun for me to watch two males kissing if I have no chance of joining in on the fun... unless that's what we were goign to do after ward" She gave a raunchy chortle and laugh as Souta groaned at her bad behavior, considering not letting her come to help "First of all never, not even if our lives depended on it and secondly it's not just me and Aiza moving that stuff, there's going to be a driver for the moving truck and Aizawa's old roommate is also going to be there since Aizawa's moving out of their dorm.

There was a pause, Souta was standing outside the coffee shop listening for Kameko's response, imagining the gears clicking in her head as she thought it through. "ooooo, how old is he, if he lived with Aiza he must be a college kid, is he good looking? Should I bring Maria to meet him." Souta rolled his eyes chuckling a little, Kameko always had her eye out for eligible single guys that she could coerce into helping her with her four year old. For all of her joking around Souta knew she must be a little lonely, raising Maria by herself couldn't be easy, she often said she missed Souta living with her, he had done so for a short period after moving into the heart of Tokyo, it was nice being able to help back and forth when a kid was involved, and Kameko was often too busy to actually get the chance to date anyone, so she usually was alone doing everything.

"Slow down, I think he's like a year or two older then us, and yes he is in college likely in the medical field since that's where Aiza is... I've never actually asked for the specifics... actually it might be biology since Aizawa's a biomedical engineer... Either way don't get too ahead of yourself but I think me and Aizawa were planning on celebrating by eating out afterward so you and Tatsuya would probably join us for that... hopefully having another guy there will keep you from embarrassing me too much. " In a way he was throwing the unsuspecting Tatsuya under the bus so to speak, Kameko would no doubt be flirting in her own way which was scary enough and Tatsuya would have no idea what he was getting into if he showed any positive signs, but with Tatsuya there Kameko would be on good behavior, trying not to scare him off so she wouldn't be able to rip Souta to shreds with embarrassing stories and what she called humor, which was usually just extremely rude name calling and blunt put downs.

She loved throwing around the fact that Souta had dropped his drawers for dollar bills and Souta was sure Aizawa didn't need to be reminded. so having Tatsuya there for Aizawa and Kameko's first meeting was really the perfect opportunity to soften their first conversation, now all Souta had to do was be careful to not leave Aizawa and Kameko alone for too long, so he'd stay seated if Tatsuya left the table for any reason. He let out a sigh as he heard Kameko's light laughter on the other end "Don't worry I don't jump off cliffs like you did with Aiza, you guys haven't even known each other that long and your already moving in together, you know that's like marriage with gay guys right?" Souta 'tsked' "If that's true Tatsuya and Aizawa have been married for a while, looks like I'm a home wrecker." "Oh college roommates don't count. Souta smiled at that scratching the back of his neck.

"So that means your coming right? What are you going to do with Maria?" He knew Maria missed him too, they didn't get to see each other often. As much as he wouldn't mind seeing her, it wouldn't be safe for her to be there while they were lifting heavy things and everyone was going to be too busy to actually watch her. The four year old might get flattened by something, or fall down somewhere. Or she could be her usual self forcing either Souta or Kameko to pick her up every five minutes, and sitting on things that they were trying to move. Not that the four year old would add to much weight but it just wasn't ideal. Though Souta knew it was a Wednesday, the middle of the week so luckily she might have play school. Turns out her was right " She has day care during the day since I'd normally be working, you know I was panning on coming with or without Aizawa's roommate, I booked it off. If we weren't moving stuff I would have brough maria she misses you, and then Aizawa would get to see a new side of you. You're such a sucker around her, he might have liked seeing you interact with her, I know I think it's sexy when a men is good with kids." He could hear the teasing smile that was across her lips.

"I don't think Aizawa would care that much, we're both guys, I don't need to be a good parent, it's not like we can have kids of our own." He hadn't talked about the subject with Aizawa before. They were a gay couple, physically they couldn't have kids and adoption was near impossible for gay couples so the likely hood of them getting kids wasn't high. The only chance Souta would have was if something happened to Kameko, he didn't like thinking of losing his only friend, but he had promised a long time ago that if anything happened to Kameko he would take Maria, since back then Kameko hadn't trusted her family with Maria. Souta was the only one that knew what Kameko would have wanted for her daughter, and realistically other then Kameko Souta was the one that knew Maria the best and had helped Kameko take care of her on several occasions. Kameko was beginning to patch things up with her family, but her will still stated Souta as her god father and Souta didn't see Kameko changing it, she trusted Souta more then them, after all her parents had wanted her to abort Maria when she got pregnant, that or give her up for adoption, Souta had been the one to encourage her choice to keep Maria despite being a pregnant teenager.

the only other real chance Souta would have to take care of kids with Aizawa would be if he baby sat his incoming niece or future nieces and nephews he was sure his family would produce. Both Kozue and Shuga were married, Ayaka already had one girl on the way and he'd bet anything that it wouldn't be long before Issa would announce pregnancy as well, since Souta and his brothers came from a family of four he could only guess his brothers would want a few kids each. "So what if you can't physically have kids, some people still get excited when they see their partner's paternal instincts, and it's a shame really because you're really good with Maria, you even know how to change diapers, something most unmarried men never learn to do." Souta's nose crinkled at the memory. He had lived with Kameko free of charge so of course he had helped her take care of Maria, feeding her with Kameko's bottles of breast milk, changing diapers, cleaning throw up off his clothes... babies were really gross but he did admit he had gotten pretty used to it, good at it even and now that Maria was four and out of diapers she was a lot more fun to be around. "yeah, yeah. Maybe next time you can being Maria, but I think it might be sad for Aiza, he was bi after all, if he wanted kids before he must know by now that it's really unlikely we'll ever have them, so waving the fact that I'm good with kids in his face might just make him sad... I donno, we don't talk about it really. He was now thinking of asking Aizawa about it.

"I don't know Souta, I'm sure he'd find it 'endearing' I always did. even though we're just friends, I would have married you, y'know, would have been nice for Maria, you would have made a good stand in dad, even if you weren't husband material, and you know it would have pissed off both our families." That had Souta smiling mischievously again. When Kameko had gotten pregnant in high school, she had lost most of her friends, and the father of the child wanted nothing to do with it so Souta had been the only person supporting her, especially since her family wanted her to get rid of it, they thought Maria would ruin their daughters future, so hearing about the kid that kept encouraging her to keep it have probably made them hate him, even more when tat kid got put on trial for drug abuse. Kameko's parents weren't too fond of Souta, so when they had lived together for a short time Souta knew it must have made them angry, their daughter was stuck raising a baby girl on her own and the only help she had was a delinquent, who was fighting with his parents just as much as she was.

On the flip side during the court hearing Kameko had to come back to their home town and seeing as she was fighting with her parents she had stayed with Sotua had his house. With everything going on she had made it plainly obvious that she hated Souta's family for believing the s**t that had come out of Yamata's mouth, Ritsu being the only exception, so she hadn't made the best impression with them. and even Ritsu was worried when they had moved in together, that they might be thinking of becoming a couple, being that Kameko had been nothing but rude to the rest of Souta's family it was likely it would piss of his parents too, probably more so then Souta being in love with a man... that was probably one of the small reasons they had taken it so well. Aizawa was a good student, he was kind, polite and wanted what was best for their son, the fact that he was a guy was no problem since the only alternative Souta had been involved with was Kameko, they likely would have taken anyone over her.... not to say Souta's parents and family didn't adore Aizawa, the fact was that he was too good for their son in their eyes so they loved him, after all, what with all the changes Aizawa had brought to Souta's life... He couldn't be anything but good for him so his parents and brothers all could care less about the gender issue, after all they didn't need Souta to produce grand children, he had three older brothers for that job.

But before Aizawa the truth was he might have considered marrying Kameko to piss off their families and give Maria the chance to have a father figure, but Souta still hoped Kameko would meet a guy willing to do that and be a good husband for Kameko, he knew better then most that she deserved to have someone in her life, he wished there was someway he could snap his fingers and find her the perfect guy, for her sake and Maria's but he didn't even know how he had managed to find Aiza, much less how to find a guy who could fall in love with Kameko and be a good dad for Maria... it was a tough bill for any man to fill. Kameko had her own charms, but anyone she managed to entice usually headed for the hills the moment she mentioned her four year old daughter. It was too much pressure... maybe she should start searching for single dads, giving maria a sibling and ensuring that the guy would be used to taking care of children...

He smiled softly to himself keeping his thoughts to himself and answering Kameko's earlier words. "yeah, it would have but I can't say I'm sad I missed that opportunity. Aizawa already had to deal with me being a host, prostitute and my criminal record, not to mention my family if I had also come with a wife of convenience and a daughter... well any man would have run" Kameko laughed lightly at this, Souta wished he could see her expression to know whether it stung or not. "I suppose. Still now that you have a new place and a stale boyfriend, you should look after maria sometimes, so I might be able to go on dates." Souta looked up at the clear Spring sky thinking and smiling a little " I wouldn't mind, I'd just have to run it past Aiza, since that would be in the evening, and he wouldn't be at work... and he'd have to meet her first, she can be a bit of a brat and Aizawa doesn't seem like the strict type to me, and he'd look like a jungle gym to her... we'd have to make sure they could get along... But I am used to cooking now and I still remember her favorites... if they haven't changed so it wouldn't be that hard, I'd just have to buy some kids movies." The idea of having Maria spend an evening at there's place or even possibly the night would be nice, he did miss the little tyke and he knew she was always excited to see him, he just hoped she liked Aiza as much and didn't completely take advantage of his way-to-nice personality. Kids could smell it, someone that wouldn't get them in trouble meant they'd go crazy.

Thinking of that made him think about Shuga and Ayaka's kid, it would likely be the most well behaved girl in the world, with two cops as parents, the type to go nuts as soon as she was out of their sight. Though Souta was used to being the good guy and the bad guy with Maria, she was used to him and knew that good behavior usually meant he'd make her something tasty and being bad would get her a stern look and a whack to the bum, with no dessert. Kameko cut his train of thought " I'm sure it'll be fine, she'll likely be shy if anything, Aiza's a giant next to you imagine how tall he'd look to Maria, she probably would be too scared to act up... then again if he picks her up she'll never let him put her down, she'll be able to touch clouds with his height." Souta laughed at that. So either Maria would see him as a jungle gym to climb on, an airplane that could fly her through the clouds or a terrifying giant... he was now a little curious if Aizawa would be good with maria, as far as Souta knew Aizawa hadn't dealt with many small children in his life, the youngest 'kids' they had looked after were Koki and Keiji and they were already teenagers. even if Koki had a tendency to act a lot younger Keiji was always there to look after him and Keiji acted just as old as Aizawa, maybe even Michiaki... he was going to get wrinkles early in life. He put the thought aside for now "So I guess I'll see you Wednesday morning at my place? We have to get things from the loft, and Aizawa's dorm, we rented a moving truck and a driver since neither of us drive... text me for the time. They had talked a little bit longer on lighter topics but eventually Souta went back inside and Kameko had things to do.

                                ~

Now it was Wednesday morning, and Souta looked at his phone to see three texts in a row. He had gotten up early but Kameko was up way before he was since she had to to get herself and her daughter ready before dropping off the tyke. the first text simply said 'I'm up and getting us ready' the second 'we're heading out the door' and the third 'just dropped off maria ready when you need me' She knew Souta slept longer then she did so he knew she wasn't trying to pester him with texts more like making sure Souta would know where she was once he woke up. He rubbed his eyes and tested back saying _'alright I'm up, gotta get ready still, you can head here though. '_ He yawned again, throwing his legs over the side of his bed. He and Aizawa had split last night, Aizawa had to pack the very last of his belongings and Souta needed to do the same. before he did anything else he messaged Aizawa _'Good morning Aiza-kun, I'm up and getting ready, not much left to do, Kameko's meeting me here let me know when the truck gets to you.'_ He smiled wondering if Aizawa was excited, eh probably was, they were moving in together, he was probably as excited as a puppy being taken to it's new home.

His eyes wondered along the loft he had called home the last few months. It had always been a temporary arrangement, so along the wall most of his books and things from his house like his coffee maker and cook ware remained in boxes, it made things a lot easier for today. The only boxes he had unpacked were one or two boxes of clothes, though he hadn't needed to wear many, and one of the boxes with his favorite books and bed side appliances like his alarm clock and lamp. for the last little while he had been unable to scour through his mass of old books, though lately that would have been too much to deal with anyways what with his new found powers. Finally after today he'd get to unpack all of his things from his old apartment. he realized he was going to have to go through his clothes and consider donating some of his suits. He really had loved his formal wear but there was no need for him to have more then a dozen suits and he had to get used to wearing less formal clothes, and actually was. Besides that he needed more summer clothes and to replace a few things... perhaps buy some underwear, though he still had a bad habit of not wearing any...

He quickly showered and collected what clothes were left around his room, picking out an outfit for the day before packing everything else away, along with his lamp, alarm clock, coffee cup and sheets. he hid the books he had left out. It wasn't like he had been reading them, they were just 'safe' books, something he touched to calm himself down, they were like new type cigarettes for him, when things got stressful he'd just leaf through the books and absorb their memories and emotions. These books had safe memories left on their pages, happy feelings. He hadn't checked his old bookshelf but he was sure he;d have more safe books, for now he'd hide these ones so he'd have them at work when he needed them. He just hoped Chisue wouldn't find them and ask about why he needed to leave them there.

By the time he finished taping up the last box he heard a call of "Are you decent?" He turned at the sound of the familiar shout and couldn't help bu smile "Yep and I just finished closing up the last box." The steps creaked under his friends feet as she made her way up. Her long hear brown hair was pulled into a high pony tail, she wore a cute frilly top that showed a little more cleavage then Souta thought was necessary, but she had a light cardigan thrown over top, with jeans. that were a little low on her hips. Souta gave her an unimpressed gaze. "What? Your just jealous your boyfriends going to be looking at me." Souta frowned "Are you wearing one of Maria's dresses as a top?" It really did look that way "What nooo, you're just jealous I'm more endowed then you." OIf course she was saying her boobs were bigger then his downstairs protrusion. He glared at her for her joke and she snickered. It sounded a lot like the way he snickered, he had missed that.

She took a look around the loft walking in to sit on the now bare mattress on top of the bed frame "You gonna miss this place?" Souta followed her gaze and shrugged "It'll suck when I have to work really early, to take the subway here but it'll be better to wake up with Aiza, so it balances out, plus this place is tiny and lacks any real privacy during the day I'll be happy when I can shut the door to our apartment." She scrunched up her nose when he mentioned waking up to Aizawa and chuckled a little with the rest. "You're such a sap... but I guess you're right."

She looked back at Souta giving him an obvious once over. He had also settled on wearing jeans since they would be more durable then his dress pants, but he still had a button up top on, though not tucked in. It had a button undone, he had the cuffs done up tightly though, and he had already put his gloves on, something that caught Kameko's attention. He hadn't been able to tell her about his problem with touching things, she didn't know about fighters, sacrifices and magic so it wasn't like he could tell he he could suddenly see memories on everything he touched and that he had to wear gloves to guard against it, and he had forgotten to leave the gloves off until the movers got there, then at least eh could have said it was to avoid cuts or scrapes from the boxes. Her eyebrows drew together and she gave him a look that said something was strange "I hope Aizawa checks you before you leave the house... I'm guessing you're going to wear dress shoes today? Ironed shirt, lose jeans, dress shoes a messy sweater, and I don't even know what to say about the biker gloves... it's like a business man and a hipster collided while biking." He shot her an annoyed look but none the less got rid of the sweater and reopened a box to search for a different top, the crisp ironing would get ruined by the boxes so she had a point. "Sorry I didn't mean to piss off the fashion police... I don't own anything other then dress shoes, all i bought were some jeans and casual tops... The gloves are for the boxes... My hands got really sore last time. She didn't look all that convinced.

She watched him change chuckling to herself "We have got to take you shoe shopping... Maria needs a new pair every few months anyways... and are you antsy, the truck isn't even on it's way right?" Once he had a less formal looking top he turned around and rolled his eyes, not wanting to fight her he undid the buttons on the bottom of the gloves that held them on before sliding them off. Kameko stood up still laughing a bit as she fixed his now messy disheveled hair. Souta curiously tried to focus on what memories were on her hand. a few seconds later he turned it off shaking his head out of habit, Kameko assumed he was doing it to escape her priming and taps him upside the head. Souta had seen Kameko's hands running through dirty blond curls, through her own strait red hair, subway pole and he had blocked it out before whatever scum had been on the subway car could surface, it was likely they never cleaned those things.

His phone buzzed from where he had left it on the mattress, before Souta could get it though Kameko dived stealing his cell to read whatever Aizawa had written "Emiko, tsk, give it back." She was putting her subway hands all over his phone and even if Aizawa was only writing to say they were on their way, Kameko shouldn't be reading the message first. Kameko only laughed especially at Souta's switch to Emiko, it was what he had called her in high school, she now went by Kameko more often. "Don't be such a prude he's just saying 'good morning' and that the trucks at their place... hmm what should I text. 'oh Aiza-kuuuun I can't wait to get our bed put in and xxx you" Souta's eyes bulged and he dove after his high school friend, trying to get the phone back, rolling around on the loft bed for the last time. he finally relinquished the phone, well more accurately knocked her hand hard enough that she dropped it onto the wood floor and Souta jumped off the bed again retrieving it before holding it to his chest and checking if she had actually managed to write the text; to his absolute horror she had already sent it Immediately after Souta wrote _'ignore that last text it was written by Kameko who is an idiot.'_ He sent it but was immediately worried that Aizawa would take his text the wrong way and think Souta didn't want to do things with him once their bed was set up. He sighed, concerned he'd have to work that out as he looked up and glared at Kameko, who was sitting cross legged on the mattress now looking very pleased with herself. Tatsuya or not Kameko was definitely going to embarrass him and possible even put stress on his relationship with Aizawa... wonderful.

Aizawa of course said something along the lines of okay and warned them he when they were on their way with the truck. Chisue had left the back door wide open and had put up signs around the cafe offering apologies to customers, Souta planned to be as quick and quiet as possible. When Aizawa and Tatsuya headed up the stairs, Kameko had been downstairs chugging down one more coffee -energy drinks for the day ahead. Souta heard the boys on the stairs, and turned to smile at them as they came up, Aizawa leaning down for a greeting. Kissing him on the cheek, like he promised to do since the day they met. He smiled letting his hand linger around Aizawa's waist breifly before waving his hand at Tatsuya as he said his hello. When |Aiza asked about the help, the sound of someone clearing their voice sounded from the stair way. as Kameko quickly and quietly aside from the 'ahem' climbed the stairs. Souta rolled her eyes, trying to figure out if she was trying to see playful, and wondering if the other boys would find it creepy that she was sneaking up the stairs behind them. He gave a moment to think of that before simply smirking and answering "Yes, this is Kameko Shibari, my closest friend and the only one in town." He had considered saying his 'only' friend but he was technically friends with Aiza's group and shameless and ageless were... sorta friends with them... -ish.

Kameko put on a big smile as the others turned to her, which caused Souta to make a joking impression of silently gagging "Happy to meet you both, I heard your Tatsuya, so that much make you Aizawa, we saw each other briefly for the last move but I had to run out rather quickly afterwards so we didn't get a chance to really meet, it's almost as if Souta's been hiding me away" Souta set his jaw and decided if she was going to play dirty, he would to " Well you're always so busy with your kid." That had her smile dropping a little. If she had a chance with Tatsuya it was gone now, most guys run for the hills when their are children involved. "Thankfully I freed up my schedule to help out my friend today. Should we start loading boxes. most of these are old books, so it's a good thing we have two strong guys here." Her comment about being here for her friend didn't bother Souta much, he knew she was also here because of the possibility of an eligible, intelligent bachelor, but not mentioning him as a strong guy was slightly annoying, but he just ignored her for now " We might as well start loading I guess." He turned and put back on his gloves, giving them a chance to greet each other if need be.

Aiza did make a point of greeting Kameko, she was after all Souta's closest friend, and despite Souta's sabotage Kameko still made it a point to smile at Tatsuya while they got on with their work. Souta felt need to prove himself after Kameko's little comment so he was picking up larger boxes then he really should but he didn't drop a single one, even if it worried Aizawa at any point in time. Kameko was surprisingly good at carrying any of the varied waists, with a strait back down the stairs; she has lots of practice from picking up Maria at very ages, her arms were conditioned for carrying. When they were close to being done, Souta threw on an open sweater he had left out, it wasn't ll that cold out but Souta knew they'd be sitting very close together in the truck so he threw on the sweater to prevent accidental skin to skin contact. He was getting batter at controlling the memory flooding but he was a little tired and he knew he'd only become more so, so he took the extra precaution just in case. Just as they were finishing, Chisue gave Aizawa a snapple on the house, and offered drinks to Tatsuya and Kameko as well, knowing Souta would take something himself if he wanted, which he did, just a last few gulps on water and a hug to Chisue.

The mover closed the back of the truck as they approached, and Souta inspected the trucks seating. One spot in the front and a slimmer bench in the back that could fit four of them. Tatsuya wasn't tiny, but Aizawa was definitely the largest of them, even the mover was a good bit shorter, so Souta deduced that Aizawa would need the front seat for his legs at the very least. "Aiza-kun, you're in the front seat. You're better with directions anyways and I doubt you'll fit in the back." If Aizawa was over wrrying about Souta's 'condition' Souta didn't let him make his own choice before heading for the truck and pulling Kameko with him. sitting on the far side window seat with Kameko being forced to sit in the middle, successfully making it so Aizawa couldn't sit beside him, but he was positioned behind the drivers seat so they'd be able to see each other any how. Kameko was a little curious on the choice, but she agreed Aizawa wouldn't fit in the back so she let it go, getting up slightly to lean out the open door "Well, hurry up." Their driver got into the drivers seat right after Kameko sta back down, doing her seat belt before Tatsuya managed to sit beside her.

The drive wasn't terribly long, Kameko took up the bulk of the conversation, rambling on nervously to Tatsuya, she was nervous enough for everyone in the car but as they drew closer to their destination Soua's chest tightened, he was a little nervous, excited to be moving to a new place with Aizawa, but concerned about a few things. He knew Aiza loved him and obviously wouldn't just kick him to the curb but Souta knew he wasn't the successful one out of the two of them, he had... problems and he wondered if Aizawa would find it hard to actually live with him... he pushed the feeling down, there was no sense winding himself up, it would only ensure failure. He instead looked at Aizawa in the front seat. He could feel the waves of nervous energy coming off his boyfriend and despite the fact that it was a little mean, he couldn't help but smile wide at the thought. He'd have to find some way to make them both stop worrying because all that tension would make things rather unpleasant. He had a few ideas of how to do that, but mostly they just had to have trust that neither of them would blow up over something stupid... though Souta knew he was the worst for that, he had to work on his people skills.

When they arrived, Souta had to call the apartment manager and get the elevator put on service from them. The truck parked behind the building and two double doors were left open to load in bigger items, but in truth they didn't have that much in the way of furniture yet; Souta had given it to his brother and sister in law since they had just gotten a new house together, and had spent enough money on the wedding, flying friends and family to Japan, among many other things and since Souta had no place to store it,seeing as he was moving to the loft... He and Aizawa would get to pick out new furniture, which sounded fun actually. They'd have to choose things that could fit Aizawa's tall stature, Souta expected to feel a little small in his home, but he'd rather have things too big for himself rather then too small for Aiza, he didn't like it when Aiza had to push his tall body into a smaller area, after all he looked best, standing taller. Souta wondered what they would do for colors, he was no expert at picking out stuff that matched and he wasn't sure Aizawa was either, Souta had picked the most expensive living room set he could find, it had been black leather, and he had done it as another way to show off not because he liked leather, or black furniture for that matter. He and Aizawa would just have to go out and look around he supposed, that or look at adds for any deals going on.

The truck finished backing up and all four of them hopped out, opened the back of the truck and started un packing. They'd get a load in the elevator, send two people up while the other two readied the next load. As soon as the truck was empty they paid the driver and let him go while they finished loading the last of the boxes. Conversation between them was sparse, the most often being 'what the heck is in this box' and 'woah that was lighter then I thought. Souta had gone through the trouble of buying colored stickers to show which room each box was headed, weather it was the bedroom, bathroom, kitchen or living room, some of them were mismatched and those were ut where ever. The boxes ranged from being really heavy because they were full of books, to really light because they were full of plastic kitchen tools or pillows and sheets. When they were finished sorting the boxes out Souta looked around the rather spacious and empty apartment, well -almost empty, save for the box towers. Kameko was still looking for her shot to flirt with Tatsuya, though she had tried to get a conversation out of him a few times during the moving process, and Tatsuya looked a little haggered. Seeing as Kameko and Tatsuya had helped them out. "Me and Aiza can finish unpacking and putting the items themselves away later, you guys did your part, so how about grabbing a late lunch? My treat." He sensed a bill duel with his boyfriend, in the end they might split it, but he figured so long as Tatsuya and Kameko weren't paying it didn't matter all that much.

Kameko's face brightened, sitting down in a restaurant would give her a much better opportunity to flirt with the intelligent eligible bachelor and they had a few things in common, both in medicine, sort of, even if Kameko just sold the prescription meds, there was no doubt she'd attempt to relate with Tatsuya and Aizawa through her job. "Sounds good, Maria does't need to be picked up for another few hours and I've worked up an appetite. Because Kameko usually worked a nine to five shift Maria had play group after school as well and therefore only needed to go home around five fifteen or five thirty. Souta looked to Tatsuya for his approval.

                                                -----------------------------------------------------------------------

The sound of a voice clearing was heard in the direction behind Aizawa and Tatsuya, causing them to look and see a girl who was showing off what mother nature gave her. Aizawa didn’t particularly notice and gave her a smile and a greeting while Tatsuya’s eyes went to her chest for a moment before raising them up again to say hello himself. ”It’s wonderful to finally meet you,” Aizawa claimed in response to her words. The “kid” comment flew over both Aizawa and Tatsuya’s heads, and they set forth when Souta mentioned loading up boxes. When Aizawa and Tatsuya was out of earshot of the other two, bending over for a big box Tatsuya commented, ”She’s cute.” Aizawa looked at him and raised a brow as he lifted a box. ”She’s also Souta-san’s best friend so don’t cause any trouble.” Tatsuya looked slightly offended. ”But I don’t cause trouble.” ”Not typically but if you dated her for a month and then yall didn’t work out like every other one of your relationships, then that would be trouble.” Tatsuya looked slightly offended. ”Not all my relationships were that short.” But Aizawa ignored him and moved on, followed by Tatsuya so they could get the show on the road.

The two older men worked hard at lifting all of the heavy things, working together to move things that were a two-person job, neither bothering to ask Souta or Kameko for help and not meaning anything by it. Aizawa was used to not asking for help from Souta on physical tasks and not because he didn’t thinkg his boyfriend could handle it, but because he was quite aware that his boyfriend was rather lazy and would prefer not to. The blonde and his college friend had no problem loading up the boxes, but by the time it was time to start driving, they were thankful for the break. They all got into the moving van, Aizawa in the front expectedly due to his long legs, and Tatsuya was the lucky dog who got to sit next to the girl showing off her chest. Tatsuya wasn’t a dog, however. He kept his glances tamed.

The drive was time for Aizawa to gather his nerves once more and reflect. It wasn’t that he thought Souta was a ticking time bomb that would go off at the slightest mistake Aizawa made and thus would break up with him at any given second. It was just that Aizawa had become painfully aware of the areas in which he lacks, and therefore couldn’t help but to worry that he would indeed royally screw up once more. Now, they’d be doing finances together. They’d have to discuss certain matters that were unnecessary to discuss before. What if Aizawa did something again? Something irreversible that Souta couldn’t forgive from just a week and a half of silence?

Giving the driver directions did its magic in distracting Aizawa from his worries, and Tatsuya humored Kameko in replying to the things she said, wondering if she was just a talkative girl or if she was into him. However, they eventually arrived to their destination and they all worked to get every belonging in its new home. Muscles aching and breathing increased, the job was eventually done and Aizawa felt a sense of accomplishment in getting through half of the moving process. Next would be putting all the thing up, which Souta expressed he didn’t want to do at the moment. Aizawa, who usually liked to finish a task consecutively after it was started, figured that Souta was right. They probably needed a break, and lunch would be a good way to thank the help they received that day.

Ultimately they all decided to go to a Santouka, where a variety of foods were offered so that anyone within the party could find something they’d like. Aizawa, being the large man that he was, ordered the most food for himself consisting of ramen with lots of beef and vegetables, with herbal tea as his drink. He tried not to cringe too bad when Souta ordered something that lacked Aizawa’s approval in protein and vitamins, but he decided not to vocalize his concerns in such company, especially since they were celebrating moving in together. ”You’re almost done being moved in. How does it feel?” Aizawa smiled genuinely. ”It feels great. Things will be easy now and I’ll be living with Souta-san instead of constantly traversing to his place.” He chuckled. ”It was worth it. But I definitely prefer just calling the place he lives my home as well.”

For months, Aizawa was always the one going to Souta’s place when he lived in the apartment and when he lived in the loft. It was better to go there and have privacy than to have Souta go to his dorm and they would have to mind the fact that someone else lived there. It was worth it to Aizawa, to always go to Souta, and it made Aizawa feel a lot better about Souta’s safety. When it came to the Shingetsu, Aizawa and anyone associated with him had a “warrant” out for their “arrest”. He had enemies stronger than most people who opposed the Shingetsu, so he really hated the idea of Souta being out in the street just to meet Aizawa at his dorm. But now, none of that was an issue any longer. They lived together now! Aizawa would be able to keep him out of harm’s way even more often. Though it killed him that Souta had to do more than walk down some stairs to get to his job. it almost made Aizawa feel tempted to ask Souta to quit, that he could pay the bills and support Souta with his job lined up for him as soon as he graduates, which was within eyesight now. But he had learned a thing or two about his boyfriend since meeting him, and somehow asking a man to quit his job so that he could be supported and more easily protected seemed like a surefire way to be in the doghouse again. The meer thought made Aizawa’s heart skip a beat. On one hand, Souta’s safety was moe important. But it would be even harder to protect him if he never wanted to see Aizawa again. He didn’t want to have happen to him what he had heard happened to Jouyo’s mother’s fighter.

Aizawa’s hand reached over to gently and affectionately squeeze at Souta’s knee beneath the table. Not because he was trying to hide his affections, but Souta wasn’t the lovey dovey type much especially in public and he figured he’d spare the straighties any awkward moments for them. Being that he didn’t know Kameko well, he wasn’t sure how it would make her feel. And he knew Tatsuya wouldn’t say anything or make any faces, but he would most likely internally feel a bit weird. Aizawa turned to look at Kameko, whom he’d heard about but never had a chance to get to know. But now that they were all together, he didn’t want to pass up the opportunity to make it in good with someone who was so important to Souta. He passed for Souta’s family, he wanted to pass for his best friend too. ”Shibari-san, I wanted to thank you for helping us today. I know that as a parent, your downtime must be precious but yet you chose to spend it assisting us. Arigatou gozaimasu.” ”Yeah, thanks,” Tatsuya chimed in, the less eloquent of the two. ”I hate that throughout all of this time I am only now getting the chance to sit and speak with you. I hope to meet Maria sometime.” Aizawa’s word weren’t all tawdry attempts at kissing up. Kids tended to like him. They liked being held by him due to his height and he didn’t mind when they crawled all over them. Babies and young girls liked playing with his strange, naturally blonde long hair. There was a side of him that enjoyed seeing the joy he could bring a child when they seemed to be fond of him.

Once it was decided that they would indeed head for a restaurant Kameko was positively beaming. Not only because she had the chance to call this a ‘double date’ and get points in with the smart single guy but also because it was rare for her to go out with adults her age for something like this. it was usually some sort of parent meeting or a function for her job which usually had only old people in attendance. She didn’t get the chance to go on date groups like most people her age because she had Maria to look after and while Kameko understood that this was the just a way of Souta and Aizawa thanking her and Tatsuya she couldn’t help but feel excited to be out and about with people close to her age. She didn’t bother making an opinion on where they should go since she was just happy to be included. Souta was happy when they came to the decision of Santouka, he was quite fond of their ramen and it wasn’t a super expensive or a super healthy choice so he could relax and just enjoy his meal.

When they got to the restaurant Souta made sure to order first so he’d be ready at the end of the line to pay for everyone’s bowls. He got a salt flavored bowl of ramen with extra pickled plums, Kameko made a gagging sound hearing his request for the plums to which Souta replied with a good bump to her side with his own, she laughed and whistled when she heard Souta tell the cashier he would be paying for the four of them.As they finsihed and left the line up with their bowls tatsuya asked Auizawa how it felt, a question Souta wondered as well, A soft smile found it’s way to his lips at Aizawa’s reply. It would be nice not having to ask aizawa to stay over and secretly worry about Aizawa’s travel distance to classes the next morning. From now on their would be no question that Aizawa would be coming home to their shared home every night and they’d both be travelling to their jobs every day. ”Yeah now we’ll just be returning to our place.” he let out a short laugh, still finding it a bit odd to say it outloud. ”It’s only fair that you’re not the only one traveling to get to your job, besides this place is much nicer than my old place, or the loft.” He didn’t want to say it was nicer than the dorms, but it was definitely roomier and more private for the two of them, but he didn’t know if Tatsuya liked his current living arrangement and didn’t want to bad mouth it if he did. Kameko’s nose scrunched up as they put down their trays and were seated ”I’m still rather amazed, a few years ago I would have said no oen would want to live with you… how things change, the only reason you lived with me for a bit was because you had to, but to choose to live with someone of your own free will, cudos.” She snickered, a lot like Souta usually did, giving Aizawa a wink to make sure he knew she was only teasing. Souta gave a wistful look. ”at least my new living arrangement doesn’t come with chores like changing diapers and making bentos in the shapes of animals.” They both laughed at that, remembering Maria’s requests for kitty, panda and bunny bentos.

When Souta had lived with them Maria had started as a two year old and had her birthday during that time, becoming three and entering preschool just before Souta left. So he had gone through the stages of changing diapers and helping potty train Maria, all the way until she began requesting shaped bentos. Some of those memories would likely become some of Maria’s first which was something Souta would have to look forward too even as Maria grew up, even though Souta was second rate as a stand in parent, Maria would likely always remember a time when Souta had been the closest thing to a second parent to her. Souta felt aizawa squeeze his knee under the table he looked over at him smile into place. Aizawa tended to have that effect on Souta, most of the time. He broke his chopsticks and noticed Kameko’s eye lingering on his gloves again, she looked about to ask when aizawa pipped up thanking Kameko, who looked a little shocked at the formality of her last name and the speech in general. She couldn’t help the chuckle that followed ”Oh please, I know we just met but no need to call me Shibari, just Kameko is fine, I don’t mind helping you guys out, believe me I’ve been trying to convince Souta to introduce us for a while, but he seemed reluctant somehow, as if I’d embarrass him or something.” She gave him a sidelong glance then continued ” I’m sure Maria would love to meet you, I mean your hight might make her shy at first but I’m sure she’ll warm up to you fast enough, and if you’d permit I might ask you guys to babysit sometime, after you’ve met her of course.”

Souta had removed his gloves carefully while Kameko had been talking, figuring the cleaned trays, bowls and throw away chopsticks were safe enough, and he was a lot stronger, besides he wanted to avoid anymore questions from Kameko if he could help it, after he stuffed the pair of gloves in his pocket he fixed Kameko with a knowing smirk ”So you can go out on dates?” A kick under the table was the only answer he got, he hissed at the tinge of pain. Kameko decided to change the subject before Souta could further pick on her ”and no need for many thank-you I know I didn’t do half as much work as our two strong men did, thanks for lifting the heavy stuff both of you.” She was obviously referring to Tatsuya and Aizawa, Souta rolled his eyes at this. But then smiled ”Yeah thanks Tatsuya-san, i’m useless when it comes to carrying the heavy stuff, and I love an excuse not to try, wouldn’t have been able to do it without you.” He had a genuine smile on his face, Kameko seemed a little surprised he’d admit to being weaker than someone, but not at him admitting his laziness.

Now that the thank-you’s had been exchanged Kameko leaned in a little more ”So this is my first time getting to talk to college boys, what did you both major in?” he knew Aizawa had already graduated so she tried to word it in a way that would make sense for both of them. Souta wondered if she was even slightly interested in Aizawa’s answer, it was likely she was trying to start a conversation with Tatsuya more so than Aizawa but Souta let her, it wouldn’t hurt for her to try and date again, she was doing an amazing job as a single parent in Souta’s opinion but he was sure having a partner would make things a lot easier on her and now that he had found someone himself he knew that having someone to lean on made life a lot easier and it had made him happier as well and he wished the same for Kameko. Having a kid already meant the dating game was a little harder for her, but he hoped that Aizawa would be alright with baby sitting because he genuinely missed hanging out with the four year old and he did want to give Kameko a chance at finding happiness like he had.

After they finished answering what their majors were Kameko pressed on ”And Aizawa-san just graduated, but Tatsuya you’re still in school right?” Souta tried to hide the ‘I knew it’ face as she swung her interest towards Tatsuya rather quickly, Souta was still paying attention however because he was kind of curious about Tatsuya’s situation, wondering if he’d get a new roommate or if he was done already too. Souta sort of bumped Aizawa, moving a slight bit closer as he picked up another plum, listening rather than participating. He was excited to get home, he knew they would have to unpack and move what furniture they had into place, and soon they’d get to go furniture shopping as well. Souta hoped that they would get delivery with all their new furniture. He didn’t mind assembling and moving furniture around the apartment, he just didn’t want to have to carry anything up stairs or try to jam it into an elevator, rather let the furniture store delivery guys do that work. He would also have to consider picking up new cookware for the kitchen, and maybe some kids movies, maybe a computer. He snapped out of his train of thought to listen again to the people around him. All in all he was really excited to unpack and buy stuff to make their new apartment their home.

                                                -----------------------------------------------------------------------

Aizawa was used to people telling him not to speak to them formally, but he hated it every time. It felt strange to him to be casual with someone he hasn’t know for a long time, though it was easy with Jouyo considering he didn’t have a lot of respect for him to begin with. Regardless, he smiled and nodded, making a note to call her Kameko. ”I’m sure babysitting would be fun. I haven’t had the chance to see Souta-san interacting with a kid yet. I imagine it’s either amusing or adorable, one of the two.” Aizawa smiled and sideways glanced at Souta to assure him he was just picking around. it was rare Aizawa picked at Souta, for fear of getting in trouble, but it was nice to sneak in a joke from time to time.

At the question of college, Aizawa briefly responded. ”I’ve graduated with a biomedical engineer degree.” Tatsuya turned to Kameko, casually leaning in an “I don’t care” kind of way while secretly wanting to come off as attractive. ”I’ve graduated with a degree in radiologic technology.” ”Tatsuya is a year younger than me but I started college late, so we graduated the same year. We’ve actually taken a lot of the same classes due to the mutual subjects in our respective majors.” ”Yeah, pretty soon it will be time for Aiza to return the favor and help me move out of the dorm. You could come help again too. I’m sure Souta can watch your kid, since he’s not good for moving.” Tatsuya smirked slightly, for he had a side of him that could tease people too. And shoving a kid onto Souta was pretty funny to him. Aizawa snickered as well.

Aizawa hoped Souta knew that Tatsuya was joking, and chimed in. ”He’s perfectly capable, he’s just lazy and therefore hams up the idea of not being useful with heavy stuff. But it’s okay. I don’t mind enabling his bad habits since he repays me in ways.” Aizawa smiled with a glint in his eye at his sacrifice, making somewhat of an insinuation since they were in the company of laid back people, one of which was an old friend. Souta might not have worked hard in general life, but he worked hard in the bed and Aizawa could easily appreciate that. Inevitably his mind went to the gutter and he had wished that the text Kameko sent on Souta’s phone hadn’t in fact been sent by her. When he looked down at the phone those hours ago and saw that, his heart soared just to plummet with a nasty thud when he got the text following after. If Souta was tired after their hard day, and they would still have things to put up later that evening, then Aizawa understood if Souta wasn’t in “the mood” after all of the physical effort he wasn’t used to putting out. Though, of course, there was an eager side of him that couldn’t wait to break in the new bed, especially since it was actually big enough for him! Their first time of passion in that bed was going to be so spacious and enjoyable in comparison the the bed Souta had to use in the loft.

Tatsuya’s nose scrunched. ”I’m going to fill that one in with ‘he repays you in warm hugs and snuggling’.” ”If…...that’s what you want to call it then yes.” ”I want to call it that.” Aizawa chuckled, knowing Tatsuya was making harmless jokes. It was true that the “gay” thing was foreign to him, but he’d made a lot of progress in acceptance and had felt more comfortable with the subject. ”Yes, Tatsuya is a lover of women, through and through. If it doesn’t involve a man and a woman or two women, then it does not compute in his brain. But he means no harm.” Tatsuya shook his head. ”You’re making me sound homophobic.” ”You’re not homophobic, you’re simply homo-clueless.” Aizawa turned to Kameko with an amused look on his face. ”For years Tatsuya knew my ex who is male but only just realized recently that we had ever been a ‘thing’. That’s the kind of clueless this guy is. Book-smarts to hell and back, but clueless about everything else.” Aizawa was having fun teasing his friend in front of a girl Aizawa knew Tatsuya was interested in. Tatsuya’s brows furrowed. ”You’re one to talk.” But Aizawa instantly admitted defeat. ”...I know…” he confessed with a slightly adorable pout looking at Souta. Souta, out of everyone at the table, knew the most how clueless Aizawa could be about anything that didn’t involve science, mathematics, history, politics, or basically anything nerdy. He had proven himself to be very clueless when it came to people and how to treat them, specifically the time he’d hurt Souta so bad it almost cost them their relationship. He’d done it twice.

Both Souta and Kameko were a little surprised when Tatsuya admitted, he was also graduated and would be moving soon as well. Souta felt bad that he had never inquired about Aizawa’s friends, but then again Souta never really got the chance to have a normal conversation with tatsuya, he was uncomfortable with the whole gay thing, and Souta had mostly stayed away from Aizawa’ dorm, since it would be rude to make Tatsuya deal with the two of them and whatever sounds they might make, so it wasn’t like he had many chances to talk with Tatsuya at length, really Souta didn’t know anything in depth about Aizawa’s friends, save for Henmi who had spent a day with him alone, the others he had seen on a group outing with Aiza and when they had been introduced… though if he were to be honest during those group outings he had many chances to ask each of them about their studies and when they would graduate, but he had been too busy teasing Aiza during these outings… and Tatsuya at times… so he deserved the teasing he received from Tatsuya in his next sentence. Not that it bothered him ”I like that plan, Maria’s way easier to deal with then lifting and moving stuff all day.” He smiled a little thinking of taking care of the tyke for an entire afternoon. Kameko gave him a look of disapproval ”I beg to differ, she’s such a spoiled brat with me, and it’s your fault for always spoiling her when you’re around.” Souta merely snickered at this, he was indeed good at spoiling Maria, maybe that why she always behaved with him.

Aizawa piped up mentioning that Souta was capable, but lazy, Souta found no qualms with the sentence and smirked, snickering when Aizawa mentioned repayment. Aizawa knew him well, but that was to be expected after all they were about to move in together. Kameko shook her head at the comment, the choice of the word ‘repay’ reminding her too much of Souta’s previous profession, but at least Souta wasn’t repaying him based on a monetary value Aizawa was throwing his way, no those days were finally behind them. However Tatsuya’s next comment caused Kameko to laugh again, even causing a very rude and indignant snort to sound out, she instantly covered her mouth and nose a little embarrassed, which only made Souta laugh at her, and so he was once again kicked harshly under the table. He pretended he was laughing due to the back and forth between Tatsuya and Aizawa that followed Tatsuya’s wish. ”If all I’m doing is repaying him with warm hugs and snuggling, he’s not getting his full due.” Kameko felt like muttering something unkind after Souta’s entrance but noticeable bit her lip to hold herself back, dropping her hands at the same time ”Should I repay you the same way Tatsuya?” the wide teasing smirk suited his features. Kameko just shook her head as Aizawa went on to define his friends comfort zone when it came to sexuality, perking up when Aizawa mentioned girl on girl, it was common enough for men, to find homosexual women attractive whilst being uncomfortable with the opposite, it was rather a let down to Kameko, though his reactions to being called out were rather cute…

Souta laughed all the way through, well aware of Tatsuya’s situation already, having teased him about it in the past. to be honest, Tatsuya did alright dealing with the topic considering how uncomfortable he had been before, he was progressing, but it might take time for him to be alright with the subject entirely. Souta hoped he’d be able to speak of the topic without missing a beat in the future, then again that would take away Souta’s fun, if he became used to or comfortable with the subject in it’s entirety Souta wouldn’t be able to tease him about it anymore. Tatsuya ended the conversation abruptly by pointing out Aizawa’s similar clueless nature when it came to anything then books. Which Souta admittedly laughed quietly at, he wasn’t sure that was completely true, sure Aizawa made mistakes but he wasn’t completely clueless, after all Aizawa had gotten his number the first night they had met or rather he had managed to get a host to force his number upon him. Kameko seemed to disagree as well ”Now now, i wouldn’t say he’s completely clueless, he did manage to capture a host after all, and from what I hear a rather good one and he’s now moving in with said captive, I’d say he’s doing pretty well.” She laughed with a bright smile on her lips Souta tried to think of a counter but couldn’t. She was right he conceded his defeat to that with a slight bow of his head. Kameko laughed again ”In order to avoid this conversation from getting too mushy I propose a change of subject. Like when you’ll be moving Tatsuya-san, I’d love to help out if you’re alright with it, so long as Souta really is willing to take my little monster, so I’ll need your number.” The confident smile on her face. Souta rolled her eyes, he should have figured she ask for Tatsuya’s number before Tatsuya had the chance, she wasn’t a typical girl, then again it was that quality she had to blame for having Maria at such a young age, she was forward, always making the first move, never wanting to wait around for the guy to do it.

”Jeeze Kameko you sure don’t fool around, I don’t mind taking Maria, but I would help move too if you need it.” Souta managed to dodge the third kick that was swung his way when he commented on Kameko’s approach while continuing, he might hate physical labour but if they really needed the extra hands he would help move the stuff, if all else failed they could bring Maria to a play school, of course that depended on what day the move was, if it was over the weekend, it would be more practical for Souta to look after her, but if it was a weekday, Souta could still help with the move, it was the least he could do since Tatsuya had helped him and Aizawa out. but he supposed seeing MAria first before Aizawa showed up would give Maria the time she would want to be glued to Souta’s legs, by the time all the moving was over she’d be all hugged out… hopefully. The last time the two had seen each other Souta had been working, and therefore she had been behaving thanks to the promise of cake, Souta doubted he’d be so lucky with their next encounter.

When Tatsuya took out his phone, She took the chance to grab his phone smiling easily. ”I’ll text myself.” The words reminded Souta of that first time he had met Aizawa, remembering that Souta had been instructed to do the same thing since Aizawa had been too drunk; to text himself from Aizawa’s phone. However Souta had no doubt she would save her own personal information too, it was how she became Emiko back in highschool, because she had programmed her full first name in his phone which was Emily-Kameko, a mashup of her two first names had been what she went by when in the company of close friends, which after becoming pregnant meant only Souta called her by the name. Being part italian was what gave her the second name, she was fond of it, but it was hard for people to pronounce, since L’s were rather awkward with a japanese accent, so she had settled with Emiko, and chosen an easier to pronounce Italian name for her own child, Maria’s full first name was Maria-Tomoe, he wondered if Tatsuya would ask about it as she handed back her phone smiling ”There.” Sure enough the phone was now on her contact info her full name there in all it’s glory, showing very obviously that she had put in all her information, name, mobile number and address. she wasn’t the secretive type besides what did she have to fear, Tatsuya was the miracle man’s friend, he couldn’t be dangerous.

                                This continues here~

”We’ll talk about our living arrangement once they’re all gone, I’m sorry if my not giving you a key hurt you, I didn’t mean for it to harm or disrespect you in anyway, there’s a reason I never thought to give you a key but can we talk about it later?”

Jouyo felt the man’s strong but gentle hold around his waist as he said this softly into his ear, and the gold and red eyes closed in slight irritation and regret. He knew his comment about never getting a key from Michiaki was rather catty, something he’ shouldn’t have said in front of everyone and seemingly coming out of nowhere to his boyfriend. But Jouyo had communication issues, he always had. Now that Michiaki said he wanted to talk about it later made Jouyo want to skip out on that day and not see anyone for the rest of it. But when Michiaki released him, Jouyo just continued to stand proud and went with the rest of the guys with a look on his face that made it seem like nothing was wrong.

After they were all sweaty and worn out, the group decided to head home. Michiaki, being the gentleman that he was, drove them all back to Jouyo’s where the other two pairs parted ways to head back to their respective homes. But strangely enough, Jouyo didn’t want them to….he wished they could stay. Because them leaving meant Jouyo being alone with Michiaki, who wanted to talk. And usually when they talked, Jouyo exploded or was catty and mean while Michiaki would do everything in his power, as always, not to raise his voice at the infuriating and hot-headed carrot-top he called his sacrifice and lover. The issue with “the key” had a far deeper meaning than Michiaki probably anticipated, and Jouyo wasn’t sure he was in the state of mind that would call for a level-headed discussion.

Aizawa and Souta had moved in together already...While Jouyo and Michiaki had known each other for longer than Relentless had. Of course, their situation was a million times more complicated than theirs, seeing as neither party was married or had to appease a traditional father that dictated their lives....And neither of them were as difficult and bipolar as Jouyo, or at least that’s how Jouyo felt about it even if Aizawa would argue about how difficult Souta had been...Jouyo was jealous. Ever since he was young, jealousy was something that plagued him. He grew up with nothing and felt bitter toward his peers that had everything. He hated seeing straight couples prance around holding hands without anyone threatening to “kick their okama a**” or anything. This was where the fantasies of getting out of his mother’s house and living a glamorous life derived. It was why he worked so hard to make more money than most men his age, living in a much larger apartment than most of them could manage on their own, with plenty of money left over to buy what he wanted as well as pay for his own mother’s living. He wanted to end up with a guy who would give him even more than what any of those other people would ever be able to afford. Hence his “sugar daddy” fantasy he embarked on with a couple different men, and then with Michiaki in a more permanent and meaningful way.

Jouyo was shameless, hence the name. He wanted the best but he wanted the best to be rightfully his. There were things he had now that still haunted him because he didn’t feel like they were his because he made it that way or because Michiaki took that first step. He was with Michiaki officially because he loved him, and he knew Michiaki loved him back, and Michiaki had literally made himself physically sick over facing his father for Jouyo….It should have been enough, right? That’s what Jouyo thought. But every time he thought about it, his mind always tracked back to one realization: Michiaki wouldn’t have ever even done that if it weren’t for Suzuka divorcing him. Jouyo knew that logically he shouldn’t care about the what-ifs. But he was a proud being, and no matter how many times he shoved that thought into the back of his mind, it still came back on its own. If Suzuka never divorced him, Michiaki never would have faced his father. By that day that Jouyo made his comment about the key, Jouyo would have already broken things romantically and physically off with Michiaki. He probably would have already started messing around with another man just to piss Michiaki off, or in a pathetic attempt to move on. He didn’t want to be someone’s dirty little secret forever. And even though that wasn’t the reality he was living now because of how things turned out, he still felt like things were not his rightfully.

How does this correlate with a key to Michiaki’s apartment? It gnawed at Jouyo’s brain that even after all this time, his memories with Suzuka in that apartment were stronger in Michiaki’s mind than his memories of making love to Jouyo in his bed, or doing things together inside of the apartment. At least, that was what Jouyo assumed. he knew Michiaki hated that place, and his aura whilst inside the apartment while Jouyo was there was always the least bright of any time Jouyo was around him. Jouyo thought he could change that. But he couldn’t. Just like he couldn’t make Michiaki take that first step in leaving Suzuka. Suzuka had always had the reigns, and it seemed like she still did. In fact, Jouyo only had Michiaki right now because of her. So he was furiously jealous. And it wasn’t like he was ready to express all this to Michiaki….and he knew if he did, he would just explode at Michiaki again.

He knew Michiaki loved him...It was because of Michiaki that he could see without glasses now, or at least that was the theory. If Suzuka never did what she did, Jouyo would be ******** some other guy while being blind as a bat with said eyesight getting increasingly worse, and he probably would have developed a hatred for Michiaki just like his mother did for Sachio. but did this make Jouyo feel better about the reality of his actual situation? No. He was a strange, prideful, and shameless being. And having Relentless rub it in his face that they were moved in together, and cute Ageless rub it in his face that they had finally lost their ears together in their blissful little relationship, just made Jouyo more on edge. The cherry on top, so to speak.

So when the last person was out the door, and Jouyo was left with Michiaki in the quiet of his flat, he almost felt tempted to kick Michiaki out and tell him that it was for his own good. But he didn’t...Either way, Michiaki was probably going to get hurt that night, whether Jouyo kicked him out of his apartment “for his own good” or let him stay to talk. But Jouyo did, at least, have one request. Jouyo turned around and without looking at Michiaki, he began walking tall toward his bedroom to then go to his master bathroom. ”If talking is what you want to waste our time doing, then lets wait until after we’ve showered. I feel gross.”

And so they showered quietly, Jouyo mainly keeping his eyes to himself though he would occasionally take a moment to admire his fighter’s physique….even when he was in such a mood he couldn’t help but to do that. And his mind would drift off to the memories of the many times they ******** in that shower, specifically the first time, the morning after they met. It had been magical, if one could excuse the cliche description. But it was how Jouyo felt about that memory...and he wondered to himself just why couldn’t he just be happy with what he has the way he has it?! Why do things have to be just so for him to approve? He wondered if he needed to see a shrink...maybe get on some meds….

When they got out, Jouyo dried and dressed, oddly enough in some nice jeans and a shirt that looked good on him. He kind of felt like going out after they talked, with or without Michi….maybe he’d go get a drink or shop….He was tired of being stuck in his depressing flat where he had created some rather stressful memories. And after the talk they were going to have, even if it ended smoothly, Jouyo was most likely going to need to just be away. Jouyo blow-dried his hair flat and put a bit of product in it to make it sit just the way he wanted, and then he stepped out into the main area to see Michiaki. ”Alright so I kinda feel like going out, so lets make it quick.” He leaned against the wall and looked at his fighter. ”What did you wanna talk about?”

After a short training session the group parted ways once again. Though it was hardly a workout for Michiaki he could tell Jouyo at least was a little tired, and he was happy about that. It seemed as though he had upset his deity once again and things would hopefully go smoother if Jouyo was a little tired. He would never admit it out loud but Jouyo could be a little harsh, though it wasn’t as though he didn’t enjoy it. He had meant it when he said he had fallen for everything about Jouyo and that included how angry he could get. Of course it was never Michiaki’s intentions to upset his sacrifice but seeing him get so angry over certain things gave him a swelling pride. While Michiaki hadn’t even thought to give him a key to a place he had once shared with his x-wife Jouyo’s mind had always been on it, and though it wasn’t good that the lack of Michiaki’s attention had upset Jouyo, the fact that he was so upset over it made Michiaki happy. Happy to see Jouyo so upset over something to do with being closer to his fighter. In a way it was sort of cute the way he reacted though he knew if he said anything of the fashion his sacrifice would throw him out in three seconds, realistically Michiaki shouldn’t be enjoying anything to do with his sacrifice being upset but he couldn’t exactly help it.

When they made it back into the apartment, Jouyo instantly pointed out that he deemed them talking as a waste of time and that he wanted to shower first. Michiaki conceded as usual, whatever Jouyo wanted he would have so they showered first, Michiaki noticed that Jouyo was resisting looking toward his fighter, neither his gold or red eye would follow him, though every once in a while they darted back, Michiaki had to keep a smirk off his face. It wasn’t as though he was making fun of Jouyo in his mind, he still believed his sacrifice to be the perfect deity but right then he was acting a little… cute.

When they got out and dried off Michiaki allowed his mind to turn to more serious thought. The facts were that Jouyo was displeased with Michiaki because he hadn’t given his sacrifice a spare key to his current flat. His anger had finally risen when Relentless had happily announced their new living status and ageless had appeared before them earless. It was possible Jouyo felt pressure due to the other pairs success, if that was true there was a possibility Michiaki could hope that Jouyo wished to have the same, to live together. He sighed knowing he couldn’t outright ask his proud sacrifice to live with him. At times Jouyo’s great pride was as much a curse as it was desirable in Michiaki’s eyes. So offering Jouyo to share a place with him might cause the duel eyed stripper to get even more angry but from the start that had been one of the reasons he had never thought to offer a key to Jouyo for his current place.

Jouyo didn’t dislike the flat Michiaki had once shared with Suzuka, in fact he had sung its praises before, Michiaki was thankful that Jouyo shared no malice for the house and understood that that it was his current dwelling and therefore there was significance in giving Jouyo a key to that flat but… Whether it bothered Jouyo or not didn’t mean it didn’t bother Michiaki. Michiaki had hated the place the moment he and Suzuka had moved in. The flat was nice enough to look at, roomie and well decorated and easy to live in but from the very start their shared ‘home’ had been a farce, it saw years of wars and screams it saw appliances thrown by full grown adults and the only love it had ever received were when Suzuka and Michiaki secreted their ‘paramours’ within it’s confines in their separate rooms, or in Suzuka’s case often the living room couch. He and Suzuka had known from the start there was no way they would fall in love, Michiaki’s interests had never been in the carefully selected take-charge woman his father had chosen for him and for Suzuka… she entered into the marriage with her heart already given to another, and living with someone else all the time had constantly flared her temper. They had reconciled and neither of them hated each other now but that didn’t sweep all the bad memories under the carpet.

When Jouyo did come to the apartment, Michiaki could only then forget them but the moment he was given a second alone he could hear the shouting bouncing off the walls and something shattering, he would dwell on bad memories, and they’d poison him slowly the longer he remained there and while Jouyo was a god even mightier than Michiaki himself, the fighter couldn’t help but feel that the more time Jouyo spent there the more his old memories would taint any of the happy ones he could make with Jouyo in that place, and the more those screams, insults and hatred dripped down from the walls and onto his perfect skin.

Most people that bothered by a home they once shared with their ex would move, Michiaki had every intention to do so but… he felt moving to a new place on his own wouldn’t be enough, if he was to move he wanted it to be with Jouyo. From the very start he had wanted to live with Jouyo, have a house in both their names, that was perfect for the both of them, a large king sized bed, furniture they had picked out together, walls decorated with pictures that were important to them, walls that were a clean slate, that would absorb all the feeling between Michiaki Tomooka and Jouyo Ueno, but when he and his wife had split up it was far too soon to try and ask that of Jouyo, their relationship wasn’t there yet, Jouyo still didn’t trust Michiaki, he likely still didn’t trust him enough. Their shared name suggested Michiaki should be shameless as his partners, and in some ways he was but when it mattered his limits had hurt Jouyo, when dealing with his parents and with the end of his previous marriage. Suzuka had been the one to break it off, offering them both a way out, Michiaki had failed to do even that much for Jouyo and when asked what he would have done had Suzuka not saved the day he had replied with an inadequate ‘I don’t know’.

In all honesty, though he understood Jouyo’s outrage he still didn’t think he’d change his answer. It wasn’t as though he had intended to continue such a farce with Suzuka, whilst keeping Jouyo as some sort of inferior secret pat, he would have done something, he would have found his backbone if it had been for Jouyo but how was he to know exactly what he would have done… he would have split with Suzuka no doubt but he wondered what would have happened, if she had refused… in a way it had been extremely fortunate that Suzuka had a plan already thought out, something that worked out for both of them and made her out to be the ‘bad guy’ the cheater; already being pregnant. even if she hadn’t gotten pregnant and been forced against the wall they had both been cheating almost from the start, they hadn’t tried to maintain the facade of dutiful wife and husband for long, at least not for one another or to themselves.

However he wouldn’t have let things continue indefinitely like that. He knew that much, after all he had fought his father already and really that was the most terrifying thing for Michiaki to face, so dealing with his wife, looking back, would have been much easier but being the instigator… he hadn’t only hesitated due to his parents feeling and his ‘image’ but also because such a scandal had the ability to upset more than just his family and Michiaki himself… Jouyo would have been unmasked had michiaki come out as the ‘villain’ in this story, and Michiaki didn’t want that he didn’t want anyone to get near his sacrifice, and he honestly still had no idea what he would have done to make everything turn out for the better while keeping Jouyo safe… was that such a horrible thing.

That, however was the past. Michiaki liked to think he had better footing with Jouyo now, he’d like to believe he might be able to convince his spitfire partner that living together was a possibility for the two of them. After all the were much more stable than they had been much closer than back then, now maybe he’d finally be able to move finally be able to find a new place where neither would simply hold a ‘spare key’ but both would own a key to ‘their’ home.

It sounded fine within the confines of his own mind but whether Jouyo would agree was the tricky part. Jouyo likely felt blighted since Michiaki hadn’t given him a key in the first place and the reasons Michiaki believed to be solid might be seen as feeble excuses in the gold and red eyes. Though he did want to try to talk it out, it didn’t look as though Jouyo felt the same, likely he had probably already made up his mind that anything Michiaki had to say on the subject was inadequate once again.

While thinking these things through he was redressing, listening to the sound of the blow dryer in the background, it was obvious Jouyo didn’t intend to stay in for the rest of the night and sure enough Jouyo emerged from the bathroom saying he wanted to ‘go out’ and to make this quick. The male Stripper was dressed well, hair done just so and his pose said he was in a hurry to get this over with, Michiaki wouldn’t have long to explain and there was the possibility that Jouyo would simply walk out on him, Michiaki prayed that wasn’t the way this would go.

He was still only in his pants, being so lost in thought he hadn’t managed to even do up his fly, his shirt in hand while he looked at Jouyo, finally he thinned his lips before saying ”What’s the rush?” He used the time it took Jouyo to reply to put on his shirt but he left both his pants and shirt open when he turned back his own dark brown eyes settling on Jouyo’s dual colored ones. Jouyo could tell when he was lying, could sense his emotions and honesty so he would know that what Michiaki had said earlier, about not meaning to cause harm or disrespect was true but he still felt like repeating it. ”I Honestly didn’t mean to upset you by not giving you a key you know, I didn’t realize it meant so much to you, perhaps because I prefer being here then there most of the time, I still see some of the old memories in that place where as all I have here are the ones I share with you.” Though he knew Jouyo likely had memories of other men here as well, Michiaki wondered if that bothered Jouyo, if he too would like to have a place to call their own with only their memories in it’s walls, floorboards and furniture.

True to his nature he formally bowed to his deity ”I know that no reason can undo the wrong I have caused Jouyo-sama but allow me to apologize me for I am yet imperfect next to you, I personally can’t help but bear a grudge on my past ‘household’ that being said…” This was the hard part Jouyo was in a rush he wanted this conversation over, a long sit down discussing whether they were ready to move and live together was not going to be something Jouyo wanted at that moment. he changed his tactics ”I understand that you gave me a key quite sometime ago and that my failure to offer the same inturn can be seen as a great insult but I wonder if you understand my feeling for that place completely… it is not a place that I truly worthy of your presence, it is a house full of… unhappy memories with someone from my past as you know, so gazing upon your magnificence in such a place is something that has never sit right with me, so the idea of making it a more permanent place for the two of us has never crossed my mind, and so giving you a key to that place was not a foremost concern of mine. Though I now understand the error in not explaining my feeling clearly the moment it became clear that the past inhabitants would no longer be sharing any part of that place with me.” He wondered if Jouyo understood what he was getting at, it was likely Jouyo didn’t agree with what Michiaki had to say.

And perhaps it was too much to add more to his previous statements but he felt he should at least put it out there. ”In fact from the moment that dwelling became my own I had my sights set on finding a new home, --No. Long before that house became mine alone I dreamed of leaving it, and now with hopes that I would not be searching for a new home for only myself. It is because I was thinking to hard about the future that I failed to notice that my actions in the present were causing you harm, I know I do not deserve your forgiveness but I hope at least now that you understand.” Jouyo could choose to quickly accept it and leave or he could decided to turn it into a fight or he could also decided to seriously talk about what ‘not searching for a new place alone’ meant. But he doubted Jouyo felt ready for that in that moment and likely Michiaki had once again said the wrong thing and had only driven the prideful sacrifice even further away from that day when they would finally have a house together.

                                                ”What’s the rush?”

Jouyo sighed and rolled his eyes. ”Because I’m bored and restless. I wanna go out, not talk about serious s**t.” He was being a bit of a whiny brat, but so be it, he concluded. He wasn’t looking forward to this. And when Michiaki turned to him, alluringly toned torso showing beneath the opened shirt and his pants undid with the top band of his underwear showing….Jouyo was pretty damn sure Michiaki did that s**t on purpose, which kind of pissed him off but at the same time he sure didn’t mind seeing Michiaki like that. It looked like they just got done having sex or they were about to, either way it made the reason Jouyo was angry haze up just a bit but his pride and strong will forced their way back through and he took his eyes off of Michiaki’s torso and put them on his face. Well, that didn’t help much either but at least he could focus better on the words.

But the words, despite Michiaki’s best efforts, just flared up Jouyo’s irritability. And the man just kept apologizing and admitting his “imperfection” next to Jouyo, and on and on and the feisty young man was beginning to get sick of it. Every time Michiaki mentioned his unhappy memories in that big lovely apartment, it just made things worse. And then the big one came: now with hopes that I would not be searching for a new home for only myself. Jouyo’s eyes betrayed his pride as they volunteered to widen just ever so slightly, but the mahogany-eyed man before him had been looking into Jouyo’s eyes as he spoke, so he more than likely noticed Jouyo’s reaction to the idea of him finding a new home with someone, it being more than obvious he meant Jouyo.

Jouyo’s dream….to live in a nice home with his ideal man, for his name to sign on the paperwork alongside that man….Of course there was a side of him that wanted to just forget all the reasons he was mad and become excited about the idea of Michiaki leaving that place and helping him look for a new one, discussing what would be easiest for them both so be able to conveniently get to their jobs without sacrificing the quality of the place they chose to live, to discuss stupid things like decor and what brand of butter they would buy…...But if Jouyo were to be killed by a deadly sin, it would have been pride. And pride had a grip on him that shoved down all his wants into a black hole he’d dig out later when his pride was satisfied.

Instead, Jouyo just put on a show. He rolled his eyes once again ”Yeah, Yeah, I know, I’m aware. Your memories with Suzuka are stronger than your memories with me, blah blah blah~” He leaned back against the wall behind him as if bored and uninterested. ”And whoever it is you want to look for a house with, you might wanna make sure Suzuka’s okay with it first. I mean after all, she’s the one that neatly gift-wrapped you and handed you to me. She’s such a kind and charitable woman but I’m not interested in anymore gifts from her, so I don’t want a key to your place anyway.” Jouyo pushed off the wall and walked around Michiaki to grab his wallet off of the table. ”Is that all you wanted to tell me? I’m restless. I wanna leave.”

More aware than anything, Jouyo knew his words were horrible. Saying “whoever it is you want to look for a house with” implied that it couldn’t be Jouyo, and calling him “neatly gift-wrapped” by Suzuka was below the belt….But Jouyo was a UFC champion when it came to his words, and when irritated or angry, he wasn’t good at holding back.

”Because I’m bored and restless. I wanna go out, not talk about serious s**t.”

Michiaki had knew he’d say that, but he had to try, but when he finished speaking the look of Jouyo’s face broke down any false hope he had wanted, he looked surprised and then angry. He really did wish he could have used his ability then, see what the man was about to say to him, then again if he had he would have heard those painful words twice, he would have felt the knives piercing him again, he would have relieved that feeling as soon as he got back to reality so perhaps it was for the best that he didn’t use such an ability against his almighty god.

That was what it felt like. ”And whoever it is you want to look for a house with, you might wanna make sure Suzuka’s okay with it first. I mean after all, she’s the one that neatly gift-wrapped you and handed you to me. She’s such a kind and charitable woman but I’m not interested in anymore gifts from her, so I don’t want a key to your place anyway.”

Whoever that was… so it was true hinting at such a thing wasn’t even aloud, they wouldn’t go through the same bliss as the others, of course Michiaki was a failure after all, unworthy of the striking deity beside him, and of course they were back to Suzuka, Jouyo still hated him for that, for allowing Suzuka to be the one that broke things off, for not being able to do it for Jouyo, for saying something like he ‘didn’t know’. Each and every word, every syllable was like a dagger stabbed into his core, it was a wonder why he hadn’t collapsed, but if Jou really did hate at the things he had said before, hated him for what he had done then what had this been till now? An illusion, a play at being a couple when really they could not exist due to Michiaki’s past errors?

He knew he couldn’t be forgiven for such an oversight but somehow he had believed that Jouyo had begun seeing past that error, that his god was able to see that he would have done something if he could, that he had struggled that he had done everything he could just to be here, but Suzuka had acted first, she had been faster she had… so were they doomed as lovers? Would jouyo always see him as a slightly more dependable fighter than his father, or rather his mothers fighter. Jouyo said it himself ‘whoever he wanted to live with’ that meant it couldn’t be Jouyo, he and Jouyo could never share a home, or a living space. He huffed a small laugh, he’d been foolish to think they could ever get past that.

”Isn’t there anything I can do to…” no asking for a pardon now… maybe if he explained maybe if he could make Jouyo understand if he could only.. There was no telling if Jouyo would believe him, coming this late of course he wouldn’t but at least if he tried he could say he’d done something. Jouyo had walked past him so he turned around and knowing how angry it might make Jouyo he wrapped his arms around him from behind, one around his chest and the second around his waist, holding his arms at his side and squeezing with all the strength he could without hurting his Deity, something in him was telling him, if he let Jouyo leave his apartment a part of him would be lost so he’d make Jouyo understand, he had to at least try.

”You know you are the one I dream of living with, how you could even suggest it could be someone else hurts. As for Suzuka…” His Ex-wife, he was finally free from her, the two of them, Michiaki and Suzuka had a chance to truly be with the people they loved, they chance to do what they wanted and be happy, but while she was engaged, pregnant and living with the man of her dreams Michiaki was still so far from even being seen as a possibility for Jouyo’s affections. ”As for Suzuka… what I said before when I said I didn’t know I wish to correct that. I would have done it for you, I would have changed things if you had expressed being unhappy, I would have gladly left her for you long before she came up with that plan but what I meant when I said I didn’t know was that I didn’t know how.” His nose was being tickled by Jouyo’s hair, his face almost pressed against the pack of Jouyo’s neck, his chin held back in order to speak. If jouyo struggled he wouldn’t let go.

”Do you understand what would have happened then though? If I had divorced her and fired her from the company, every newspaper, blog writer and reporter would have been following my every move, never mind what Shingetsu would have felt to do, if that had happened, being around you, and being near you would have been impossible, if they found out I had a male lover, they wouldn’t be harassing only me but you as well, you would have never been given a second of privacy, we would never be able to be alone, the only safe havens would be your apartment, with all the curtains closed and then this place would have become a cage just like my own home was before.” He voice was level, but shaky, Michiaki couldn’t tell if he was on the verge of shouting or crying.

”as for my current living arrangement, your memories are more important, and when you are there with me, that all I think of all I see but when you're working, when i’m in that house alone, looking at the wrong spot I can hear the years of fighting, the years of lying, hating one another the time me and Suzuka spent there is too long, memories of where you’ve been in that place can’t cover every inch of the walls and floors, can’t hide places where she threw things toward me, can’t completely erase all of the death wishes, and hate. hen ‘m there alone it’s like they drip from the walls and rise from the ground there’s just too many, even as a god you can’t erase their past, before you entered that place. I know I should be able to rewrite all those memories with the ones you and I have created but it’s not that easy. I know you still don’t think I’m enough failed in breaking things off with Suzuka on my own, failed to see a way out of it that would keep you safe, way to end things that would have all of us able to live out lives the way we wanted"

”Of course I didn’t know what to do, but of course I wanted to do something, but at the time it was safer to remain the way things were, in that situation I could still be with you, still see the man I fell for fr, my sacrifice and deity. I know it’s not enough now, it wasn’t enough then, I know I’ll never be enough for you but I just want you to understand that day in day out, since the first time I met you, I’ve only thought of is how to be close to you, worship you, protect you, and I know I’m imperfect next to you, but I do try.” He had to make sure Jouyo know that, knew that he was trying, it might never be enough but he was going to keep trying no matter how many times he failed, how many times Jouyo walked away, speaking of which.

Slowly his arms came undone and fell to his side, he backed away closing his eyes, praying that when he reopened them Jouyo wouldn’t have walked away, out the door, if he did Michiaki felt he would lose something here, he left that if he failed this time that was all he would ever be to his Jouyo-sama; a failure.
