Welcome to Gaia! ::

Normally Akakios would rolled his eyes at the thought of someone getting all sad and mushy over a parent they never knew, but he couldn't help but feel a bit sorry for Archias and the fact that his father suffered that fate. A shiver ran up and down his spine as the held his hand over the blood and whispered to him. "Right..." He murmured as he again closed his eyes and tried to focus his energy. It certainly did help that Archias was providing him with some assistance for this time Akakios was better able to harness his power and put it to use.

The blood once again parted but this time he was able to spread the crimson liquid apart more and hold it longer. Finally he opened his eyes and the pool once again settled down and the split disappeared. The spratan as a sudden wave of exhaustion hit him. For a moment he felt vey light headed but did his best to shake it off. "So tell me...What my father like? I mean to me Aries has always been the god we spartan worship but...that is all. What is he like?" Akakios asked out of the blue as he looked at Archias with curiousity. Wanting to know just what his godly father was like.
Archias smiled at Akakios,"you make good progress"He whispered as he too took a seat by the blood pool and unstrung his yumi.
When the topic of Aries came up the archer flinched.
He REALLY didn't want to talk about Aries, especially because he would only hurt Akakios in the process.
Aries was rude, proud, disgusting, bumbling, and all around unbearable.
"He's a pain the a** just like you,and if you want me to go into detail then be prepared for a biased opinion."He grinned as he went to go put some clothes on.
Archias came out again wearing little more then a silvery loin cloth and a shawl with his hunting braces and bracelet underneath.
"You better get dressed too,I'm supposed to take you to see mother today,Artemis wants a chance to hunt a spartan."Archias said simply.
Akakios was instantly roaring with laughter at what Archias said about Aries. "I had a feeling you would say that! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" He continued to laugh until he gasped for much needed air.

Of course when he saw what Archias was wearing he couldn't help but admire the boy and his lithe little body. Oh the things he'd do to him when the lad least expect it~ Archias best not drop his gaurd around this spartan too long if at all. It would prove to be most unwise.

"Hunt a spartan eh? Fine...I'll go get cleaned and dressed." From the few tales of Artemis he heard she was one hell of a woman to mess with. Therefore he merely smiled, "I hope I can provide her with a good hunt then." He spoke with a warm smile before getting out of the pool and washing up. When he returned it was amazing how he went from being horridly dirty to spotlessly clean, as if he had never trained that day.

He wore the usual spartan armor and that well loved tatter red hooded cloak. "Can Despina come with us? Yesterday I had to keep her here for safey reasons so she didn't get to sight see much. Isn't that right my dear?" He was answered by a screech from the vulture as she suddenly perched on his right shoulder and nuzzled the side of his face. Despina then looked at Archias and fluffed her feathers, hissing somewhat. She wanted to go with Akakios this time.
"Of course! All Animals are welcomed in the forests of Artemis."Archias smiled as he held out his palm and a half moon disc appeared for them.
The disk shimmered like the stars as it passed over the two boys and their pets, seeming to melt over them in a comfortable warmth before their feet touched ground again in a beautiful village.
The village itself was a series of dome like homes litterally built into the trees with stone walkways supported by strong roots.
These homes all surrounded one large oak dome that was the home and hall of Artemis.

"Mother!Mother i've brought our guest!"Archias laughed as he practically tackled a large amazonian woman with tiger striped skin and fierce green eyes.
Her long hazel hair was in a high curly pony tail that reached down past her waist, she was beautiful like a jungle cat, fitting for the goddess of the hunt and protector of children and animals.
"Archias, angel it's good to see you home!"She smiled,a warm inviting smile as she hugged her son and said to Akakios,"Hello son of Aries,it is good to finally meet you."
For once in his life Akakios genuinely felt....awkward. He looked around the place and then to Artemis and Archias. He felt very out of place here and rather unwelcomed despite the...nice greeting. Perhaps because he was a bloodthristy spartan with nothing better to do with his time then go into battles and slaughter people in the most horrible ways possible...and enjoy it. Despina made chattering noises and nipped Akakios's hair, reassuring the spartan as he shifted back and forth somewhat as he stood there. The thing that made him most uncomfortable was being addressed as the son of Aries...it just didn't sound right.

"It is very nice to meet you too...I don't want to sound rude but I'd prefer if you didn't address me as Aries's son. My father's name is Serafeim." He explained as he looked at the goddess with both awe and respect. Like a wolf who was admiring a big cat from afar...always watching from a distance never daring to get close. "I understand that Serafeim is my human father but....He is the man I am most familiar with and closest too. Aries to me is only the god I've been told to worship..." He hoped he made sense and wasn't overstepping any boundries. He didn't dare approach the woman unless asked to and so was fine to just standthere and speak with her.
"It is no problem at all my child,"for Artemis considered all humans after her her children,"You are allowed any name and parentage you wish to be addressed by,My son considers Apollo his father just as I love Zues as mine.Aries has watched and blessed you and today you are known as one of the finest young warriors in sparta.Be proud,"Artemis said softly as Archias ran outside to greet the rest of his "familly".
The faeiries Theodosia and Oberon, the king and queen gave him some more quivver charms they made while the rest of the fae each placed flower rings around either him,Akakios,or Has.
A truly warm welcome indeed,if a bit over dramatic,'just like mom'Archias thought and grinned as he continued to play.
Akakios actually blushed for a brief moment but didn't really notice himself do so as he continued staring at Artemis. It was a good thing this was Artemis he was talking to and not Athena....lord knows what that goddess would do to him. Especially after all those athenians he slayed. ever so faintly he gulped and petted Despina to calm his nerves.

The spartan was also petting Despina to keep the bird from snapping at any of the fae. She most certainly was not a people bird...nope. She was a one person only vulture and the person she show affection for as Akakios and that was it. "Just before we came here....Your son mentioned something to me about hunting...?" Akakios spoke with caution, still not budging from his spot.
"He mentioned that did he?"At this Artemis grinned playfully,"My son and I like to engage in the playful hunt once in a while,no killing involved. And as a ploy I told him to bring you as our next game.what he dosen't know however is that He will be our prey this time, with you as my hunting partner."Artemis explained as she looked out at her son so distracted by the fae.
"Up for a bit of sport tomorrow,Akakios?"She whispered just as Archias came in to hug her again and go to his room for rest.
Dozen of thoughts flooded Akakios's mind and none of them were the slightest bit clean at all. Needless to say he nodded 'yes' to answer Artemis's question and smiled in a somewhat sly manner. Oh how he was going to enjoy tomorrow~

((s**t post. But the next will be better.))
Artemis gave the spartan a sly wink, already guessing his intentions with her son and approving, even if he was a child of Aries.
The next morning Archias awoke with nothing but his dignity and a tight silver loincloth to wear.
"Wh-what the ******** yelled aas he covered what was left of his dignity,a note falling off his chest when he stood up.
After reding this he blushed..."Oh crap!"He yelled and ran to find his nearest hiding spot.

"Alright people, standard nonviolent hunt, with a special prize~"Artemis grinned as she looked over her faeries.
"Whomever catches my boy first, keeps him for the day!"She laughed before the fae and her all dashed for the woods, including one very attractive and hopefull male fae.
Akakios was also prowling about the forest in search of his prey. He had a very focused look on his face as he cautiously navigated the vast place. The spartan had noticed the male fae but chose to ignore the hopeful eyesore for now...No right now he had other things on his mind. Like what he was going to do to Archias once he caught the little p***k~

Smiling as a predatory glint became noticable in his eyes he continued his search for the poor little demigod. Despina assisting as she flew ahead of him checking for signs of the boy, and searching if she noticed anything that would provide a useful clue to her master.
"O s**t!"Archias yelled as he dived back into the cave he hid in to avoid the male fae from before, pressing himself between two rocks.
Fter this however he couldn't maneuver his way out, trying to wriggle free of the rocks quickly.
He got out a few minutes later and was soon off into the woods again, duucking under tree roots when he could.
Akakios signed as he sat atop a large tree root that a certain little p***k was hiding under. He was aware the boy was there but decided to ignore him for the time being. Despina was elegantly perched on the spartan's shoulder as the man relaxed for a bit.

"So my dear...what do think I should do once I have that 'little girl' in my grasp? Hm?" He inquired with his beloved vulture who merely chattered away softly and nuzzled Akakios's face. The spartan chuckled and lightly ran a finger under the vulture's chin. "Couldn't have said it better myself girl...Now then what to do about that fae we saw earlier...." Akakios pondered aloud as he continued to relax on the root. "After all I've never been one for sharing..." While he thought this over he came to the desicion of staying put right where he was atop the root Archias was hiding under.

After all the little prey item wouldn't be that stupid and try to run out from a perfectly good hiding spot while the predator was still there. Akakios's plan was to simply wait for the male fae to come by and when he did....well...the spartan was going to have his way with him. By no means was the spartan about to let someone else get their hands on that tender little body.
When the fae found Archias' little hideout he grinned.
"Come here my little gift from Aphrodite~"he said flirtingly as he approached the hollow while Archias forced himself further into the roots.
"I gotcha, and now I will finally have you as mine!"He laughed, ignoring the ominous figure above the hollow as he dived in to try and catch Archias.
"Go away dammit! When I said we were through I meant it!!"The boy yelled, the rows in his hair coming undone to show how long his hair truly was,the spirals above his eye shifting wildly with his emotion.
Upon hearing the yelling the spartan stood up and grinned madly as he lept from the top of the root. He landed with a light thudding noise at the entrance of where the male fae was currently reaching for Archias.

"Well, well, well....What have we here? Competition?" The spartan mused for a moment as his eyes narrowed anda frown replaced the grin on his face. "I already laid claim to that little whelp so the only thing you'll be getting is an early grave..." With that Despina took to the air as Akakios moved foward and grabbed the fae's head roughly, his fingers digging into his skull. "I know the great goddess Artemis said this was a nonviolent hunt...but..." He put pressure on the fae's skull and with little warning ripped him away from Archias and tossed him aside. "Doesn't mean I can't beat the snot out of a pest like you." Akakios snorted as he then looked down to where Archias was, smirking faintly as he admired the boy's appearance. Obviously not too worried about the fae that was still alive...
