One's A Girl and The Other Is An Attack Dog

It the times of great and powerful gods and godess there exsited the few beings that had the honor of being the offspring of an immortal and a human. These demigods were usually called heroes. However there are a few that fall between the cracks and don't become such great heroes....This particular story involves two such demigods and the relationship they share with eachother. The story of a beast and his keeper if you will....

The Demigods

Name: Akakios
Age: 20
Weapons: Whatever he can get his hands on at the time.
Parents: Ares and a spartan woman named Tasia
Appearance: Tanned skin, very short messy black hair, some stubble, brown eyes, compact/athletic build, often dressed in spartan warrior clothes, has a tattered dull red hooded cape that he wears alot.
Short Bio: Born to a spartan family Akakios is a trained killing machine and he loves it. Both of his fathers are quiet proud of him as is his mother. Being the warmonger that he is, Akakios is always ready for the next battle. He never leaves survivors but is always sure to leave a trail of destruction in his wake.
Extra: Loves dogs, has a dog familiar and a pet vulture, collects the spines and skulls of his enemies, bathes in the blood of those he's killed, may be a possible cannibal...

Name: Archias Leingod
Age: 17
Weapons: a silver Yumi bow his mother gave to him
Parents: Artemis and Yerthus
Appearance: Archias has an elfish appearance about him,a sharp pointed nose and ears and light golden skin.
His built is slight except for his forearems, worked hard from his bow.
His hair is a silvery gray and cut short on the left side while the right is a series of corn-rows with spikes along the top(in a sort of native american hunter style).
He has a small tattoo above his left eyebrow of a series of spirals
Short Bio: Archias was living in the world of his mother's forest since birth, learning to hunt and also to conserve.
He is a quiet and awkward boy in public but should an animal ever come to harm he wouldn't mind putting an arrow through you.
Artemis has always been a firm but caring mother, showing him how to find his own familliar as well as rewarding him with a pet Thylacine(last of it's breed) which he named Hacakios(has for short).

Extra: has a strong connection to Apollo as a father figure
"Has?Has where are you?!"Archias called, running a hand through his strangely-styled hair as he looked through his aunties city of Athens for his oddly godly pet.
"Has!Come on,I'm already late for bow practice with mom!"He yelled as he searched the streets.
The Thylacine pet in question was currently being accosted in an alley by a group of boys not much older then Archias.
The three boys were kicking at the snapping animal in a savage game, laughing as they thought they were hurting the immortal.
Elsewhere not to far outside the great city of Athens, browns eyes belonging to a man in a tattered red hooded cloak watched people enter and leave the city on business. A frown pulled at his lips as he watched those sorry excuses for warriors. Athenians proved to be poor warriors and failed to satisfy Akakios's thrist for bloodshed.

"Bunch of pathetic girls..." He growled as he finally found his target. An athenian spy who had manage to momentarily out run the spartan during their earlier confrontation. With a little smile the spartan began his decent down from the cliff he was on and towards the spy...taking his time. He was going to make an example of this spy in the middle of the city and show those athenians that their constant noseyness would not be tolerated....that and making people piss themselves with fear was always a plus in his book.
"Has,get up.You know teasing them is no fun!"Archias said as he finally found his tiger-striped canine pet.
The thylacine,as if suddenly bored with being kicked, loped back to his friend and gave him a lick on the hand.
"Oh don't sulk, you'll have your fun later, now then. You three!"Archias suddenly went cold as he dug into his light gray jerkin to find his necklace, ripping it of as it formed into a yumi bow and a quivver of silver arrows.

"Hey,this kids got some god magic! And some pricy weapons!"The apparent leader called as he saw the silver arrows, and charged at him to steal them.
"You try and hurt an innocent animal and now you aim to rob me?!Fools!"Archias yelled as he destrung the yumi and used it and an arrow as melee weapons to smack and poke at the boys as if it were nothing.
The athenian spy that was being tracked down ran past the alley screaming in terror as he shoved random people aside. However he quickly turned and headed back into the alley and got behind Archias. "P-please! Help me sir! Please! He's going to kill me!" He begged in a obvioulsy frighten manner as another entered the alley. A man who face, for the most part, was covered by a red hood.

Akakios's eyes were focused on the spy but he did take the time to look over the girly young man the spy was hiding behind. Snorting and baring his teeth much like a wolf who had finally cornered his prey as was getting ready to make the kill. "Now now my dear little spy...I just want to ask you a few harmless questions~ Come on stop playing hard to get~" He spoke in a mock-sweet voice as he glared at the athenian. "I promise I won't bite...~" At this the spartan grinned as a playful growl left his throat. Oh how he wanted to spill blood right now...mostly the spy's blood but if the whelp with the bow wanted to join the fun he'd be more then happy to rip him and that odd looking pet of his to pieces.
Archias instantly felt himself repulsed by the other man approaching him,by his manner and appearance he was spartan, and bloodthirsty.
"Has,"The boy whispered and the canine barked in response,"get 'im"The strange thing bared it's teeth again before charging at the spartan boy.
"as for you, back away now!"He glared as he held another silver arrow to the hiding spy's throat.
Akakios grinned as the strange beast ran at him, he side-stepped out of the creature's way before slamming his foot in the creature's gut. "I was only here for that p***y hiding behind you but if you want to involve yourself with me thats fine too." The man snorted as he pushed past Archias and grabbed the spy before the man had a chance to run.

"Pathetic~" Akakios purred as he smashed the man's face into the wall several times until said wall was covered in a good amouth of blood. Whatever blood spatter got onto Akakios's face he licked off. "Now then...Are you an Athenian?" He asked as he dropped the corpse and glared at Archias and that strange pet.
"Spartan Pig!"Archias grumped as he returned his bow and quiver to his necklace and called Has back to him with a growl.
"I am no athenian or spartan.I'm the son of Artemis and my home is her sacred forests. You wouldn't care though, unless your preciouss Ares aimed to make it his own."He said to insult him as he held out a hand,a silvery disc appearing to Envelope them and carry them into the sky and back to Artemis.
Akakios snorted as the boy left. Prissy little kid...annoying too. He picked up his kill and simply walked out of the alley and down the street, making various people scream in fear before leaving the city and heading back to his place. His home was located just outside of sparta on the side of a mountain. It was here that he got to work on his lastest kills.

Gutting the bodies making sure to empty all the contents into large jars before removing the head and spine and setting those to dry out in the sun light. It looked like really grotesque laundry the way in was hung out in the sun. As for the blood from the corpses he collected it in a small pool area where he often bathed in it. Of course he had a regular bath house near it that he would wash off in but for the most part he prefered his little 'bloodbaths'. While he bathed his pet vulture would feed on the drying corpses, picking them clean. Later this evening he would but the arms and legs he tore off to good use as food considering he didn't hunt any sort of animal. Humans tasted just as good.

Elsewhere Ares was busy bickering with Athena over the actions of his son and how Ares should keep a tighter leash on that monstrosity of a man.
"I should have to aggree on such a point Aunty"Archias said as the silver disc around him Evaporated once more after bow practice with his mother.
"The spartan brute is unbarebly disturbed, much like others we all know."He dodged a sweep of Ares battle axe Easy enough, especially with Haphestus providing defense for him.
"How does he not even know of his heritage yet?Is this just another piece of spartan training or are you just waiting for him to lose human body before you claim him as kin uncle?"He asked of Ares as Hermes appeared beside him.
"Hm?A message from grandpa?"He asked as he unfolded a golden scroll signed by Zues himself.
Archias scanned the letter for a moment, scrutinizing it over and over before dropping it to the misty cloud floor.
"No...I..I can't do it! I refuse to do it!"He screamed as he now tried to run from Olympus itself,Hermes grabbing hold of him and asking Athena to aid in holding the boy down.
Ares couldn't help but flat out laugh at this...he then wondered if Zeus had a screw loose in his head.

Nightfall some came and Akakios was lazyly munching on an a cooked human arm. He looked rather bored as he looked outside his home. These mountains were very bare and rather unwelcoming compared to the rich land below. Sighing the spartan wished he had a woman to keep him company but then remember the last wentch he had in his bed and snorted. The concept of tender loving care wasn't in his vocabulary nore did he wish it to be. He had no room for it...not in his little world of blood and violence.

The large female vulture who had come to be Akakios's beloved pet landed on his shoulder and kept the man company. "Enjoy your meal Despina?" The vulture chatted lightly in response to the man's question which made him smile in a genuine manner. "Thats good to hear girl...thats good to hear..." He ran a few finger over the bird's feathers while he continued watching the night sky, not much going through his head.
"I can't believe they actually threw me off olympus..."Archias grumbled, rubbing his rear end from where Eros actually shot him to calm him down.
He was situated in front of his latest charge's home and could smell the reek of blood for miles,so bad it stuck to him.Sparta was a city of brutes and dogs.
"Greetings Spartan pig!"Archias boomed as he kicked t Akakios' door.
Akakios was far to busy gnawing on the human arm and staring up at the stars to really care for whoever it was the kicked down his door. The vulture on the other hand hissed and instantly ruffled her feathers ready to gauge out Archias's eyes if he did anything to the man. Normally such a hiss froma bird wasn't scary but considering Despina was the size of wolf with large wings that were being displayed at the moment as a treat it could look intimidating.

Akakios snapped out of his spacing out as he heard his dear pet hiss. When he saw the young man from earilier he snorted. "Oh what do you want you little whelp?" The spartan growled as he glared at Archias.
"Oi,your lineage is wasted on you."He said disgustedly as he looked at the arm and smiled at his pet.
"What would you say if I told you that your great Aries,is your father?"He asked as he patted the bird along it's flight feathers in his natural love for animals.
"I am archias, sent to show you your powers and give you the gifts of your father."He said simply as he pulled out a heavy gauntlet for the boy that shined like gold and placed it on the table.
"The decision to accept it is entirely yours."
The vulture took a few snaps at Archias, managing to bite his hand once before calming down at he master's touch.

"Despina isn't use to strangers touching her...no matter how charming they are." Akakios pointed out before hearing what Archias had to say. For a oment he was very quiet and had a looked of deep thought on his face, something spartans didn't ofte do...or at least seemed not to do.

"Normally I would have laughed and then killed you but seeing that....hmmm..." He continued thinking before comming to a decision. "Very well I accept. Though I detest having someone like you teach me, I supose they are testing my patience as well." He growled as he stood up. "However..." A sly smile appeared on his face as he looked at Archias in an odd way. "Perhaps having someone like you around won't be...too bad..." Akakios chuckled faintly as he took a step towards Archias.
