Elena grinned, laughing lightly. As well as finding Darren's stupidity hilarious, it also worried her. Not because it made him look like an idiot, but because she knew being bitten by the little people hurt.
Her smile faultered slightly. When she had first arrived, Elena herself had been bitten. All she could remember was the pain, someone shouting, and blood. It made her worsed fears appear before her. Being the center of attention, making a fool of herself, and blood.
"Alright, lets go." She agreed, smiling at the girl, hoping she believed it was real.

He glanced up at the two boys - well, Vampire and Snake Boy he corrected himself - standing in front of him. They looked rather amused for some unknown reason. "What's so funny?"
Darren rolled his eyes, ignoring Raven's comment. "Wow, that long? I thought it had been less time than that." He studdied the Snake Boy while listening to Will. "Oh, Raven will tell you."

Elena wasn't sure if he knew or understood what had been 'said', but why did that matter? The point still stood.
