William laugh unkindly, his red eyes sparkling with humour. "Having a small problem with women there Raven?" He couldn't care whether Arra was in charge of him, tormenting the other boy was terribly funny. "Hello Arra." He said politely, bowing, hoping not to be hurt as badly.
He ran his hand through his sandy hair, sitting down on one of the chairs he had set out. His chairs were scattered randomly all over, making the normally perfect arrangment look odd and untidy. Will couldn't care less though - he hadn't want to help in the first place.

Elena froze, not daring to turn around. "What is that?" She asked, unable to see it make any sound. Sometimes deafness was the scariest thing in the world - no hearing, no sense of what is behind you.
Her grey eyes went wide with fright, her ears closing back against her head. She bit down on her lip, trying not to shudder. The warm thing touching her neck made her want to scream and run, yet, without knowing what it was, she wouldn't - couldn't - move a muscle.

Elena grimaced worriedly. "Just get it away from me. I can't hear it."
She shut her eyes, just for a few seconds, trying to clear her mind. Her body was still terribly uncomfortable about not being able to see it.
Darren, on noticing her fear, turned straight to Raven. "Get that thing away from her!" He comanded. "Elena can't see or hear it! She's freaking out!"
The vampire was very protective of his deaf friend. He had no idea why, but he was. Making sure her eyes were open and looking at him, he spoke calmly to her. "Don't worry Naomi," He used the nickname only he had ever called her. "It's not going to hurt you, I promise."
Elena watched Darren's voice spin through the air, twirling in a drawing way. In her mind, it sounded silky smooth and rather seductive. She never had understood it; was it the draw of brotherly protection, or something more?

He smiled over at Raven in a different, more competitive way. "Good for you."
He certainly looked like he was having some trouble. He thought. Arra, though only a woman, is rather destructive in her own right.

Raven made the snake move down onto her lap and give her the drink that was in the cup holder - "Its harmless - no venom. I just milked it see."Raven said as he made the snake bite him."I wouldnt hurt you at all. Ever. Darren - sorry."
"I'm not uptight."Arra walked over to william."You reminded me of larten crepsley for a second and the fight would have toughened you up!" She said . William was her assistant - and if possible more annoying than Shan.

Elena nodded. "I don't like not being able to hear things - it scares me." She admitted quietly. "That's my fatal flaw, my deafness. Unless it's looking at me, I can't hear it."
She kept her eyes one the floor, not happy by the fact she had been such a coward. Scilently, she hoped for some form of comfort, but also to be shunned.
"You better be." Darren said, just as angry as Will. He felt pity for Elena. How could someone do that to her!?
He turned to Eva at the sound of her voice. "No, we aren't finished setting up yet. But why will you not need your things? Is something the matter?"

He felt almost exacly the same as Elena, just a bit bitterer. Raven shouldn't have done that - a deaf child gets scared a lot easier than an abled one.

Elena nodded slowly. "Alright. I've never really hung out with anyone before though..."
She wasn't to sure of other people, but even Wolfie knew Eve was one of the most trustworthy people for a girl like her. Eve had always made sure she stood in front of the deaf-girl, and also made sure that she understood everything said. Most people would just ignore that, but Eve didn't. In a way, it was like the two girls were best friends, just through simple things like understanding and kindness, without ever hanging out or meeting up.
