I grew up on the streets for multiple reasons; my wolf ears, my half-blindness, my deafness... I was brought to the Cirque when I was only 8. They gave me glasses for my half-blindness, helped me learn to speak even though I cannot hear... It was amazing... Oh, and then there's my wolf side. It means I can play with Wolf Man without him hurting me. He's ever so kind really.
The only reason I managed to learn to speak was my ability to 'see' sound. I don't know how, but I can see it twirling around other. The more beautiful the sound, the better the sight.

Yesterday we shook hands my friend

Eve walked into the circus tent and saw everything almost setup for tonights show."Arra!"She shouted to her mentor meaning come over here.
"Eve whats wrong - have the little people been upsetting you again?"Arra asked the young-ish girl.
"No , theres something else - the show tonight - i feel sick and my head hurts . I dont think i can do it!"
Raven walked onto the stage and prepared for tonights show - He would have a snake come down the balcony railings as always then a snake would appear from behind him and drag him up into the air to make a closing speech.

Elena sat in a folding chair, watching the noise of the people setting up wrap it's way through the air. It danced and spun, making her smile. The only thing she liked better than that was music - epecially something with a quick beat.
She could see Eve and Arra talking. Arra's 'voice' swirled wih curiousity, whie Eve's wobbled back and forth with worry. She couldn't help but wonder what was wrong, but desided not to ask.
Sometimes it's just best to leave a person alone.
She closed her eyes for a second, allowing her mind peace and quiet. Without sight, she could not hear a word. It was relaxing not having simple abilities at times, but it was also annoying. Sighing, she began to hum to herself, unsure if it sounded in tune, or not.

William walked through the crouds of people trying to prepare for tonight. His hands sat inside his jean pockets, iPod headphones stuffed in his ears. He didn't care if his sensitive hearing made it louder than normal - all he wanted to do was listen to the heavy beat of the song.
"Hey, Will!" Darren called out. "Can you give me a hand with the setting up?"
The boy simply shrugged. He couldn't care less if he did or didn't help, whether they neede an extra pair of hands or not, as long as he could have his way, he was fine.

"Be patient Eve - because you're a child vampire it will happen.Ssssshhhh.Go back to the tent and sleep."Arra knew the purge was upon Eve.
Eve walked off back to her tent.
"Hey will - i can help you set up with darren if you want?"Raven said jumping off the stage and walking over to the boy. "I have nothing better to do."

William shrugged. He couldn't care less what they did.
"You can help both of us." Darren said, knowing Will just wanted to be alone. He needs to help for once.
Sighing, Will picked up a few of the chairs and started to spread them out randomly. He had no idea what he was doing, but it was working.
I think it is, at least.
Darren sighed also. Chances of getting Will involved properly was small - very small - and he knew it.

Elena opened her eyes for a second and, in that short space of time, everything changed. She couldn't close her eyes again. Her peace had ben interupted by three boys - Darren Shan, William Harrison and Raven Von - and there annoying chattering.
Clearly, two were rather willing to help, while the last wasn't. She sighed slightly, making Darren turn to the noise. Elena smiled sweetly, waving to the vampire. He motioned for her to join them. Standing up, she stepped over slowly and carfully towards the three boys.
"Guys, this is Elena." Darren introduced. "Elena, this is-"
"William Harrison and Raven Von." She said simply. "I know."
Her hands stayed clapsed together in front of her, rather like an anime girl. The thought made her smile. She was rather like an anime girl in a way; her large grey eyes, her petite nose, and long sweeping brown hair - the ideal features for a stereotypical anime girl. Even her chetnut wolf ears seemed to match the theme.
Carfully, she pushed her glasses back up her nose, coming back to reality. "It's a pleasure to meet you both."

"Hello Arra." Elena said politely, holding back laughter. The vampire had always known how to make her smile. "Oh, why am I here?" She shrugged. Slowly, the half-wolf allowed her ears to fold up, away from her hair. "Oh, I don't know..."
Ell grinned even wider. "You're Evra's son, aren't you? Ol' Snakey's been being rather strange lately..."
She coulsn't help but think how Evra Von had been avoiding both her and Darren - who had to make sure she knew where to go the whole time - for a long time. Could something be the matter?
