Capture the Flag. For the past week, she had heard stories about the game where they fought over a silly flag. The whole concept seemed hilarious. Cleo had a hard time with Jandro the past week, who constantly tried to touch her and what not. One time, she put up her "shields" and the boy made the mistake of grabbing her arm. Just with that one touch, he got enough electricity in him to make him pass out. The guy wouldn't leave her alone, not to mention he was on her team for Capture the Flag. On the bright side, so was Anstice. Anstice was Hermes son. He was cute and mischievous. She kept her belongings right by her side whenever she was around him, but they had a pretty awesome time playing pranks on Mr. D before his time was up. Whenever he wasn't looking, they stomped on his vines and switched out his wine -- which he wasn't supposed to have -- with cranberry juice. It seriously pissed him off. It was amusing watching his face turn the color of his wine. But, pretty soon, his time was up. It was amazing how fast a century could fly by when you're a god. Now, they had a new director whose name was Adonis. He was a son of Apollo, and it was extremely easy to tell. He was a master at Archery and could heal anything. Well, almost anything.

Now, she was standing in full body armor, armed with her shield that her mother had given her; -- it was originally a hard clip until she clicked it -- it had a majestic eagle on it and it made her feel prideful. When different campers or monsters looked at it, they where drained of confidence. She thought it was pretty cool. She had a long sword that was engraved with seashells and lightning bolts at the bottom. It was a gift of cyclops, whom had made the sword especially for her. It felt balanced in her hand. Not too heavy, not to light. She looked in between the different cabins. Almost every minor godling's child was standing in their group -- which made up about twenty campers. The Hermes cabin, about three; Ares had about five, and they looked scary with their armor that barely fit around their large muscles. Next to the ares was the Zeus cabin -- hers -- with Melantha, whom she discovered to be a total b***h, and Jairus. He was a good kid and nothing like his half sister was. A camper from the Ares cabin was shouting orders, and he looked like he knew what he was talking about. She could literally feel the spit as he shouted at the group, which wasn't a really comforting feeling at the moment. She slowly shrank back, waiting until her position was called out.

"Hermes! Since you're so good at stealing objects, not to mention electric spears, I want you to steal the flag. Be quick, which I know for a fact isn't an issue with you." Greg seemed to roll his eyes, like he had bad experience with the boys. Anstice and his cabin mates saluted then listened to the rest of the camper's positions. He spat orders at the minor godlings demigods, like Hecate's children where supposed to trick the other team into thinking that they had their flag when the really had a stick and things like that. The Morpheus kids where supposed to put the other team to sleep, and the Nemesis kids just ******** up their luck. Then, he pointed straight at Melantha. "You! Don't let the Poseidon douche's get into the creek. I want you to take out all of the campers that you can get your hands on. Electrocute the creek, make it hard for them to see, y'know?" Just as Cleo thought that was her position, Greg looked straight at her. "And you, Mut, I want you to stand in the creek. Don't let the enemy cross our borderlines. Since you're half, what? Zeus and Poseidon? You can get more power by standing in the creek while it's electrocuted. It's a pretty easy job. Got it?" Cleo slowly nodded, unsure of what to say. "And the Ares cabin will guard the flag." His cabin cheered, then he shouted: "Red team! Go!"

Everyone ran. Blue team, the opposing team, ran as fast as they could while they charged into the flag. Immediately, she went to her position in border control. She slowly stepped in the water, feeling the comfort fill her. She suddenly felt ten times stronger standing in the creek. Touching it with her finger, she watched as the electricity traveled down the creek, completely shocking it. It made her smile and it made her feel ten thousand times stronger. She had both on her side, now. She watched carefully, looking for any Blue Team campers.

The past week was filled with taunts from Alyx and winks. Damon found it quite annoying the way she acted like he wanted her. She must have been mistaken or quite blind, due to the fact that he could live without the crazy female. Jandro was completely cocky and tried to hit on his cousin; Cleo disliked it but she seemed to hate the Zeus Councilor even more. She seemed like a b***h, and whenever he walked by her,she would whisper something like "Ignorant Mortal" or something. It's not like he gave a s**t what she called him. So, his mother was a daughter of Poseidon and an x-hunter, while his father was just a normal mortal. What was so bad about that? It was his genes, and he felt as if she had no right to act the way she did. He dismissed it, now. Wait till they started the game of Capture of Flag. All of his team was gossiping about it. They acted like they where going to win. Adrian kept patting him on the back and Mattias acted like he didn't give a s**t. The Athena campers found him intriguing, including Alyx, and the way he was mostly mortal and could penetrate the borders of camp. He was forbidden to even taste "Ambrosia" or "Nectar". Even demigods could burn from that, but who knew what the stuff would do to him? It only made him more vulnerable. Which wasn't a good thing.

Now, the Athena campers where telling them their orders. "Aphrodite, work your beautiful magic on the men of the Red Team. I want you to make them want some more." Sebastian pointed towards Paige, she smiled then played with her armor. From what Damon understood, the Aphrodite kids where kind of annoying. "Demeter Cabin, I want you all to grow poison ivy, poison oak, anything you can think of to keep them away from the flag. You will be on border patrol," the councilor, Ceres, nodded. "And you," he pointed at the Hades girl, "If my cabin cannot get to the flag in time, I want you to go for it. Don't let them stop you." Althea didn't seem to happy about her position, but she solemnly nodded. "Apollo, guard the flag with all that you have. Do not let the other team get it," Demetria nodded. "Hephaestus Cabin, you five take out of the Zeus cabin. They are the biggest threat here," Sebastian told the Hephaestus cabin. "My cabin will go after the flag," Sebastian grinned. The only cabin that was left was the Poseidon cabin. "Adrian, you and your cabin stay near the creek. Kind of like border patrol, but watch out with the Demeter cabin. People tend to underestimate them." Once that was said, he raised up the flag with the owl on it and shouted, "Blue Team!" Then, they all ran off.

All week Alyxandra had tried to catch Damon's attention. She had worn her best outfits, one of the most revealing things she had, but still he didn't show any interest in her. Alyx was starting to get frustrated. She couldn't understand why he showed no interest in her. For the entire week, Alyx had gotten glares, and comments from the Zeus' councilor, about being a "mut" and other nasty comments. She hadn't really let that phase her. But one thing that did surprise her, was the nasty looks, and jealousy she was receiving from Paige, one of the Aphrodite Cabin. Mainly that was because of all the stares and compliments she received from all the male campers here. Alyx wasn't really concerned for them, except for the one male that mattered to her -- Damon -- and Paige seemed to notice that as well. But she had noticed her cousin and Jandro. Jandro really seemed to take an interest in her, but Cleo, wasn't playing in to it. Jandro was like the male version of herself, but he was more into sex than Alyx was.

But that was the farthest thing from her mind. Now Alyx was standing in line with her Athena cabin-mates, they were putting the finishing touches on their armor. They were waiting for everyone on their side to get into a formation so they can hear their orders. Alyx didn't totally like the idea that she was against Cleo. Cleo was much more powerful than she was. Plus Cleo had power over water and the sky. Alyx didn't know what the other side would have in store for them, but she knew that it wasn't good. She stood there and listened as Sebastien gave the orders. He was their leader, their main strategist, but he didn't know her cousin like she did. Alyx listened as Sebastien told Paige, and the rest of the Aphrodite's to charm the guys on the other side. She rolled her eyes, that would be no problem for Paige and them. Then Sebastien told the Demeter cabin to use whatever plants they had at the other team, and that they were on border patrol. The Athena Cabin would be going to get the flag but if they couldn't get to it, then Althea, Hades daughter, would go and get it. The Apollo cabin would be guarding the flag. Which would be good, because they were great with their arrows, but they could also bend light and curse the opposing team to talk in rhymes. Alyx thought that would be hilarious to see. Alyx told the Hephaestus kids to be careful of Cleo. Her looks are deceiving and she is extremely unpredictable. Then Damon, and the rest of the Poseidon cabin were to be by the creek and on border patrol with the Demeter cabin.

Then Sebastien said Blue Team really loud, and the game began. Alyx gripped the sword, her mother had given her. It had lightening bolts on the hilt, and swirls on the blade. She felt electric current run through her. Everything started to seem to come alive for her. Alyx started running scanning through the trees. She could see Damon and his teammates heading towards the creek. She hoped Damon would live up to his potential. Xyleena Hamlin was an extremely powerful demi-god, but what was more dominant in him -- the mortal weaknesses -- or the demi-god? Alyx didn't have time to determine that. She was competitive, she got that from both of her parents, and she didn't like to lose. But She couldn't find that flag. She kept running, it had to be here somewhere. Alyx kept scanning the trees, and finally found herself in a clearing. Sebastien was way ahead of her. If the Red Team had put this flag somewhere out of sight, they would be disqualified. Alyx had almost caught up to Sebastien when something stopped her. It was something coming from the creek. Alyx started doubling back to figure out what it was.

Jandro stood there with his spear in his hand. He listened as Gregory gave his team the orders. He didn't know what the other team had in store for them. But he wanted to find out. Jandro watched as Greg told them their positions. Hermes would be stealing the flag, Zeus would be holding the Poseidon kids back. Jandro didn't really think that Damon would be a problem, the dude could barely penetrate the borders of Camp, let alone take down whoever it was barring down on him. Jandro twirled his spear a little, more so out of excitement and expectation, rather than nervousness. Jandro was confident they would win. They had brute strength on their side, as well as electricity and sky power on their side. Jandro listened and when it came time to talk to Cleo about her position, he had to hold back a growl, when Greg called her a mutt. He would get back at the guy later for that. And Jandro knew he could take him too. He had a few tricks up his sleeve, he was talking about his brains.

The team broke apart, each person going to their positions. The Ares cabin spread out a bit, so they could cover more ground, and guard the flag. Jandro paced back and forth anxious for some action. But he kept his eyes peeled out for anyone coming towards them. He didn't totally know what to do. There was nothing for him to do right now. But then out of nowhere five girls came out of the woods. They were ungodly beautiful. Jandro couldn't stop staring at them. The blonde especially. After closer inspection -- or ogling -- it was Paige. Aphrodite's enticing daughter. "Hey there handsome." She said. Jandro took a deep breath all he could see was her. She smiled at him, and moved closer to him. "Hey there yourself. Come here for a little man candy?" He asked, flirtatiously. Paige laughed, and put her arm on his, and squeezed it a little. "You're the only man candy around here. A very manly man." She said batting her eyelashes at him. At this point, Jandro knew he was a goner, he was completely under Paige's spell. But there was still a voice of reason in the back of his mind. It was minuscule, but it was still there.

Once the game was started, Jandro made the stupidest mistake he could ever, ever make. Cleo had been sitting in the water, playing around with it and watching it evaporate as the electricity touched it. When she heard what sounded like a bunch of little giggles, Cleopatra slowly turned her head, afraid to see what she saw. Of course, Jandro was being seduced by Paige and her minions. Cleo frowned and watched as Jandro was pulled into it. If he actually got sucked into it, she would have to stop it. Judging from the looks and giggles he was getting, they where about to bust a move. Standing up, she stormed out of the creek, abandoning her position. Greg would get really pissed if he found out, but now that was the last thought on her mind. Tightening her grip on her sword, she came up behind Jandro and wrapped her hand around his eyes to break the spell. She pushed him back and pointed her sword at Paige's throat. "Why don't you mess with someone else in your league?" Cleo asked, cocking her head. Paige just snarled. "What's the matter, mutt? Afraid your man likes me more?" She reached a hand out towards Jandro, but before she could do anything, she was interrupted by a scream.

Cleo whipped around to see Alyx standing across the creak, but on her side of the creak was a giant hellhound. The thing was ready to pounce on top of one of Alyx's cabin mates. Cleo gaped at the thing. She had seen them before, but she had never fought them. "Oh my gods," Cleo gasped, backing up into Jandro by accident. His chest felt like a rock, but it was comforting now. Only because there was a devilish hellhound from Hades in their camp. She thought that wasn't possible, unless someone summoned a monster. Paige and her cabin mates screamed and took off into the woods, which made the hellhound turn around and look at Jandro and Cleo. She chewed on her cheek, trying not to scream herself and run. The dog clawed and the ground and sprang forward, towards Cleo and Jandro. Out of instinct, Cleo fell to the ground and rolled, mostly because the dog was really quick. It was only seconds before the Hellhound was on Jandro. She was partly surprised because he hadn't moved, but before she could react dozens of celestial bronze arrows pierced the back of the hellhound's head. Of course, this only pissed it off even more. Cleo jumped to her feat, acting out of braveness which would probably only last for a couple of seconds. She charged and the huge beast, and stabbed it with her sword right in the gut. Before she could even pull out her sword, the thing evaporated. It smelled of sea water and electricity, which wasn't what a normal monster was supposed to smell like.

Just then, Anstice sprang across the creak, with the Blue Team's flag on it. He was smiling, but he didn't seem to realize what had just happened. "What?" He asked, looking at the expressions before Greg popped out of nowhere. "Consella! You mutt! Why aren't you in your position?!" He roared. Cleo stared at him like he was ******** whack. For one, she saved Jandro from being eaten by the Aphrodite's, and they where just attacked by a ******** hellhound and he was asking why she wasn't in her position? "Yeah, Greg, but-" Before she could finish, he huffed and interrupted her. "Yeah, but what?" Greg demanded. Cleo raised her eyebrow. "Are you ******** stupid?" She blurted, not meaning to ask. She knew that Ares wasn't the brightest bulb, but she hadn't meant to ask his son if he was stupid. She took a small step back from Greg. She didn't want him on her bad side.

Well, the game had been going pretty well, until he decided he was bored with his position. With a slight case of ADHD, Damon could hardly stand saying the same spot for twenty minutes. From the looks of it, this game wasn't getting anywhere. Frustrated, Damon turned behind a tree and stalked into the forest, Adrian yelling at him to get back into his spot. He simply ignored the man, but he didn't know what he was in for. When he passed by the creak, he spotted Cleo playing in the water. Behind her jandro was being charmed by the Aphrodite's. They were cute. Shrugging his shoulders, he passed by their flag. It was in an obvious spot, but it was suppose to be obvious. He had a pretty good idea on who was going to win, but he kind of kept it to himself. Damon quietly stalked in the bushes, making sure not to be seen. Then, like a switch, Sebastian spotted him. "Hey! St-" Sebastian was interrupted by the screams of girls. Both of the males whipped around to see the Aphrodite girls running away. At first, Damon thought it was normal until Sebastian drew his dagger. Damon raised his eyebrows, then followed Sebastian's gaze. Standing on the opposite side of the creak was a giant dog. It looked like a huge Doberman, ready to pounce. He knew what it was, he had seen his fair share, but what was it doing in camp? Hadn't Chiron said monsters couldn't penetrate the camp borders? Since when could they?

Damon took a step back, surprised to see the beast. Now, it was facing towards Jandro. Just when it was about to pounce, Cleo ducked and rolled, but Jandro wasn't as quick. The beast pounced on top of Jandro, and the Apollo kids went crazy with their arrows. A dozen or so was sticking out of it's head, but the giant dog just didn't seem happy about it. It hadn't evaporated, but instead it just stood there, ready to claw out Jandro's face. Anstice fell to the ground, clutching the flag pole. The Hades girl disappeared into the shadows, Demetria and Chroma were preparing new arrows, the Aphrodite's were no where in sight, but everything else was pretty calm. Until Cleo decided she was going to kill the beast. At first, it was amazing, then he suddenly felt guilty that he hadn't been the one to attack the hellhound. There was a moment of awed silence before Greg broke it, yelling at Cleo. Infuriated, Damon started forward, wondering what the ******** was this guys problem. Jandro, Greg's own cabin mate, had just been attacked by a hellhound and he was wondering why she wasn't in her position? Damon walked forward, and stood at the opposite side of the creak. "Hey, du-" before Damon could finish, Alyx was standing in front of him with a serious pissy look on her face. What was the problem now?

Alyx had just gotten to the creek when she spotted the massive hellhound. It was rounding on a girl from her cabin. And Alyx stood there frozen from fear. It seemed like time had stopped, and all she could hear was the sound of the hellhound. A scream emanated somewhere, and she didn't even realize it came from her own throat. Alyx didn't know why she was reacting this way. She had seen numerous monsters in her life from running with her parents, but this one at camp, her safe haven scared her even more then the ones she had encountered before. But where was Damon. Alyx could quite clearly see Anstice running with their flag in his hand and crashing into the creek where Damon had been previously. She turned as she heard the hellhound bounding towards Cleo and Jandro. Cleo ducked and moved out of the way, but Jandro didn't. The boy just stood there. Alyx guessed he was more like his father, than he was like his mother. Alyx watched as her cousin stabbed the stupid dog in the gut, and it evaporated. Alyx was proud of Cleo, but that was shortly lived when her team captain came up and started yelling at her cousin.

Alyx was already angry at Damon for costing them the game. She didn't like to lose, and boy was Damon in for it. And there, speak of the devil, was Damon. Alyx flipped her hair, which was coming out of its ponytail, and she stalked over to Damon. A glare for him was clearly evident on her face. It only took her four small strides to get to Damon, and when she did, it stopped Damon from saying anything. He looked extremely confused. Good, Alyx didn't want him to know what she was mad about, she didn't want him to have the upper hand. Alyx was a very dominant female, and everything had to be her way. And when it wasn't, Alyx got very upset. "What the hell do you think you are doing?" She asked. Alyx didn't wait for a response. Everyone's eyes were turning towards them, even Cleo and the stupid ares mother ********. Alyx didn't quite know why she was taking it out on him, he wasn't the only person in the creek. Or maybe it was the fact that in the entire two weeks they had been here, he had showed absolutely no interest in her what-so-ever. Alyx had never been this upset about a guy and not liking her ever, she had always said that if they didn't like her, they weren't worth her time. So what was it about Damon that made her so mad?

"You were supposed to be in the creek. Why the ******** did you move?" She asked. Alyx didn't care that she didn't sound intelligent, and she didn't care if people watched her, and Damon fight. "We lost. We ******** lost because of you." She said, emphasizing the word you, so he would get her message. Alyx knew right now that her eyes were dark gray like her fathers. They were constantly changing and when they were one specific color it was because that person was the most dominant in her at the time. And then a thought popped into her head. She didn't even think about it. In fact Alux just blurted it out in front of everyone. "You're not one of us! You can barely breach the perimeter here at camp. What makes you think that you belong here? Well I have news for you Damon Hamlin -- you don't!" She said. Alyx didn't even see the shock and then anger in his face. She turned around and tried to storm away. Alyx didn't get very far, when she heard a huge gushing sound coming from the creek.

Jandro stood there completely shell shocked. He was completely enraptured with these females, and under their spell. There was no way he was getting out of this one. Alejandro was so wrapped up in them, he didn't even hear anyone come up behind him. Then all of a sudden his eyes were blocked by someone's hand, and an angel's voice, his angel's voice came from behind him, as she pushed him back. It was Cleo and she was sparring with Paige from the Aphrodite's. If this turned into war, Paige didn't stand a chance. But it didn't turn into war, because a scream was heard just on the other side of the creek. There was a huge hellhound barring down on an Athena girl, but it wasn't Alyx. The Aphrodite girls screamed and ran away which brought the hellhounds attention to him and Cleo. She backed up into his chest, and he wrapped one arm around her, to protect her, before the hellhound targeted them. Cleo moved out of the way, but he didn't. It got closer and closer to him, but Jandro just stood there. Normally he would have either fought the damn thing, or ran away like Cleo, but he didn't. Then Cleo jumped up, and stabbed the stupid dog in the gut. It evaporated into dust, and he smelled sea water and electricity.

Jandro turned to look at Cleo and he was just about to thank her for saving his life, when Anstice came out and then followed by Greg. Greg did not look pleased one bit. The dumb-a** started yelling at Cleo for not being in her position. Jandro turned towards the guy. "Hey pea-brain. This girl just saved my life from a ******** hellhound, and you want to yell at her for "not being in position"?" Jandro yelled at Greg. The boy was tough, but Jandro was tougher, and smarter. "Well nim-rod, your girlfriend here was supposed to be at the creek. And from what I've been told she was trying to save you from taking one of the Aphrodite girls, and bangin' them right here." The boy retorted. Jandro stuck his chest out and took a few steps towards Greg. Glaring down at the boy. Jandro was only a few inches taller then him, but that mattered. At least to him. [******** off Greg, we won the game. Does it really matter that she wasn't in postition, or she was?" He asked.

Greg stalked off with the Athena flag in his hand. Jandro turned back to Cleo and smiled. But that didn't last too much longer either because just then he heard Alyx shouting at Damon. He didn't know why the girl was pissed at Damon, Damon didn't give a flying ******** about love or girls -- at all. But just then, was a gushing sound, and Alyx was drenched in water. Jandro had to hold back a laugh as she glared at Damon, and stalked off towards her cabin. He then looked at Cleo. "Sorry about Greg. Thanks for saving my life." He said. Campers started moving off towards their cabins. The camp fire would be starting soon. And Jandro was looking forward to it. He wanted to sit next to Cleo and sing with her. Then Jandro looked down at Cleo, and got a smug look on his face. "How you doin'?" He asked, wiggling his eyebrows suggestively at her, in a flirtacious way.

It was kind of like pressing the "FAST FWD" button on your iPod. Like, when you're running out of time but you really want to hear that one part of that one song. Surprisingly, Jandro had stuck up for Cleo when Greg was chewing her out. Like pressing the button, she fast forwarded to the part where Greg called her his "Girlfriend". Cleo raised her eyebrows and was about to object until she heard a loud shrieking voice come from the opposite side of the river. Cleo whipped around to see Alyx claw out Damon's guts -- not really -- and yelling at him for not being in his position. Either way, he didn't look like he was going to take it. Once again, she was about to tell Alyx to calm down when she realized it wasn't her fight. She turned around then heard Alyx tell Damon he wasn't allowed in camp. The whole camp stood quiet for a second as Alyx stormed off, all pissy. Whoa. That was pretty harsh. Cleopatra felt sorry for her cousin, but that quickly changed when Damon picked up the creek -- the whole creek -- and dumped it on top of Alyx. She didn't even know he had that kind of power. Some campers stared in awe, but Jandro had other plans.

Cleo slowly nodded, looking up at Jandro. Gods, he was attractive. Especially with the little mud smudge on his eyebrow. Shaking the thoughts of her head, she nodded quickly. "Yeah, um... It was no problem... Yeah." She sounded kind of awkward, and she knew she did. She did not do good when around attractive boys, like Alyx did. Except for that one time... But that wasn't the point. The thoughts quickly faded when good ole Jandro came back and got a smug look on his face. She wanted to punch it off. Cleo raised her eyebrows at Jandro, and took a step back, ready to go back to her cabin and change into normal clothes. "I'm fine. I'm going to go back to my cabin and get ready for the campfire. See you there?" She patted him on the shoulder as she said her words, then on the last line she turned around and sent a wave over her shoulder. Hopefully, the campfire wouldn't be as outrageous as this. Cleo headed back to her cabin where Melantha and Jairus where getting ready for the campfire. Melantha glared at her when she came in. "Next time a ******** monster stops a game, let the councilors take care of it." Her words where like knives, but Cleo let them pass. "Your welcome," Cleo smiled, and went to change.

Taking a quick shower, Cleo changed into a baggy camp half-blood t-shirt and tucked it in underneath a pair of short shorts. She went barefoot because she had nothing better to do, and let her hair air dry when she went outside. The air at camp was crisp and fresh, it made her feel like she was in Elysium. Walking to the campfire in the dark was wonderful. She couldn't see where she was going, especially when she ran into Hades' daughter. "You're the mutt who killed the hellhound." When she spoke, she brought her full attention towards her. "Yeah," Cleo whispered. The girl reminded her of death. "I could see your friend dying, but he didn't." The daughter of Hades wasn't smiling, nor was their any emotion on her face. She looked like an empty chalkboard. "My name is Cleo," she blurted, remembering how everyone called her "mutt". Gods, it got annoying. "I'm Althea." No handshakes, no nothing. Althea smiled then disappeared. She had just befriended the daughter of Hades. Stupefied, Cleo continued her walk to the campfire, where she found Jairus, Adrian, Mattias, Chroma, Demetria and Anstice already there. Cleo sat next to Anstice, who sat next to Chroma. No one sat next to her, but she didn't mind. The Apollo girls where singing songs and the fire was booming.

Damon was surprised to see Alyx so upset. Especially at him. Normally, she was all seductive towards him and tried to get in his pants. "What do you mean?" Damon asked. Did she think it was his fault that the hellhound was here? The whole camp dropped quiet, even Greg and Jandro for a few seconds. Damon was about to ask her if she thought that he summoned the thing, before she blew up on him. "Me? Why did I move? Well, gee. My position ******** sucked. I was watching my cousin play in the river!" Damon yelled back. Greg and Jandro where bickering now, and it sounded like Jandro was sticking up for Cleo, but right now, he was having to tame Alyx. "Yeah, we lost because of me. My position was so damn important. Maybe if you where faster getting the fla-" Damon stopped what he was saying when Alyx spoke. What? He didn't belong? New anger flared in Damon. He could feel the vein pulsing in his forehead at her comment. Then, she turned around and stormed off towards her cabin. Like she had won the fight. He had news for her.

All of the sudden, something came over him. It felt like intense power but faded just as quickly as it came. He looked back at Alyx, who was drenched in water. "I have news for you, Alyxandra. I don't belong here as much as you don't. Me, you, Cleo and Jandro are all different. My father just so happens to be mortal. But, does it matter?" Damon spat, then turned his back to her. He looked at the creek, which was almost completely empty. Water was slowly trickling back into it. Had he done that? No way. It had to be Mattias, Adrian or Cleo. No way it was him. Without saying another word, Damon slowly walked back to his cabin. ******** campfire was next. Who knew what would happen then. Alyx would probably b***h him out for bitching her out. Greg would probably hold a grudge against his own cabin mate. Oh gods, this was going to be one epic campfire. Once Damon entered his cabin, he saw that Adrian and Mattias was already there. Adrian looked pissed, Zeus forbid why, and Mattias was trying to stay out of Adrian's way. When Adrian saw Damon, he gave him a smile. "Hey dude, I'll save you a spot at the campfire," Adrian said as he left the cabin with Mattias.

Damon didn't bother taking a shower. He didn't sweat or do much during the game, so he thought ******** it. Damon changed out of his shirt and changed into a cleaner one. He through on a pair of khaki pants and a pair of leather flip flops. It's not like anyone gave a s**t about what they looked like during a campfire, so he didn't. They where all friends. Well, some of them. Leaving his cabin, Damon quickly walked to the campfire. He could see the different colors of the campfire flickering and the Apollo girls where playing instruments and singing songs. Damon took his spot next to Adrian and watched the fire. It blazed different colors and grew larger every time someone else joined the campfire. Whoa, it was like the fire had it's own brain.

alyxandra gage vs alejandro gonzales
the sarcastic & flirtatious daughter of delia and simeon.
teamed up with the man-whorish & strong son of penelope and leonidas.

Alyx watched as anger flared up in Damon. A small thought in her head was that he was sexy when he was angry, but her anger in her flared even more then the hormonally charged teenager in her did. She listened to what he had to say, although she really didn't want to. Alyx would have much rather left so that she could control herself, but he had to push buttons. Or more so she had to. Sometimes Alyx didn't know when to shut her mouth. But that was only because her father had given her more of her personality traits then her mother. "You need to listen and follow orders better. We were all doing what we were supposed to except for you." She said. Alyx knew deep, deep, deep down inside of her that Damon didn't deserve what she had said next, and she could tell that it hurt and it angered him. It seemed that it angered him even more than it hurt him. Alyx watched as the vein in his forehead, began throbbing, she backed away a little, and tried to storm off.

Then all of sudden she was stopped in her tracks. Alyx wondered what it was, but she soon found out. Water poured down her and drenched her completely. She turned around and her eyes were an electric blue. Alyx could see that Damon was angry. Maybe they were too angry for their own goods. Then he said her full name, and Alyx winced. The only people who ever called her Alyxandra were her parents, mainly her father, and Chiron. Alyx would have said something but he stormed off. Alyx walked off to her cabin, using the wind from her Zeus power to dry herself off. When she got there, she was slightly less pissed off, and she actually liked the way her hair had been air dried from the wind. Sebastien was standing there waiting for her. "You're one of those mutts too?" He asked. Ooh that was a bad move. "Yeah is that a problem?" "No we all actually think that's cool. It's pretty interesting that your parents survived as long as they did, and made you." "Umm... well thanks." She said.

It was now time to get ready for the camp fire. This sounded stupid, but she had to go it was like mandatory. Alyx decided she was in a very flirtatious mood tonight. So she picked out the shortest jean shorts, she had, that were fraying on the end. Then she picked out her magenta bra, and her yellow tank top. Putting them on, she put on some mascara and some eyeshadow, not too much. Just enough. Now it was time to head to the bonfire. She was just about there when Jandro came up to her. Alyx smiled, he was someone she knew and was becoming friends with. Someone familiar, in a world that was being cruel from the other campers. "Can I talk to you?" He asked. Alyx raised one eyebrow at him but smiled devilishly. While he looked sheepish. "Yeah what's on your mind hunk?" She asked. "You see that guy next to Cleo over there?" He asked. Alyx looked and saw Anstice. "You mean Anstice?" She asked, now this was getting good. "Yeah him. He's getting a little too close to Cleo. And I'd like to be able to get to know her, and maybe I'll seal the deal with her too. Now you need to keep him away from her." "First of all, that's my cousin you're talking about, so please refrain from saying "seal" and "deal" in the same sentence as her. And second of all, I'll do it." She said, and made her way over to the fire. Jandro did the same. He sat next to Cleo, and Alyx sat next to Damon, the only other empty seat that their was.

Jandro watched as Cleo looked very awkward with him being there. But he just smiled, and thought that he was getting under her skin. He looked down into her eyes, and was memorized by the blue and green her eyes were. He wasn't paying any attention to Damon, or Alyx and what the two were fighting about. He didn't really want to know. "I owe you one." He said, meaning that she had saved his life, and now he would save her life one day too. Then Cleo excused herself from him. She was walking away and he was staring at her a**, it was curved and medium sized, it wasn't fat, but it was like there was nothing there. "See ya later babe." When he turned around, Alyx was storming off soaking wet, Damon was stalking off in the opposite direction, and the other campers were laughing and starting to gossip about what had happened.

Now it was time to head to his own cabin. Jandro lumbered to the door of the Ares cabin where he was stopped by the daughter of Demeter. Cereal or something like that. He flirted with her a bit, and she flirted back. It didn't advance anywhere, mainly because Jandro didn't want it to right now. He excused himself politely, like his mother would have wanted and went inside his cabin. Greg was still fuming, and Jandro just smirked. He liked the fact that he was getting under his skin. Even though Greg could make his life a living hell. He went to the showers where he saw a little mud smear on his face. It didn't take him long to shower, which was nice and warm. Stepping out of the shower, all of the towels and his clothes were gone. "Real nice guys." He said. Jandro was confident with his body, and went into the main area of the cabin. The guys there laughed and smirked because they thought they were funny. Little did he know that they had hung his clothes on top of the boars head outside their cabin.

He rummaged through his other things, found his underwear, and put them on. Then he put some deodorant on and an orange camp shirt on. With some sandals and cologne he was finally ready to go. Walking out of the camp he finally realized where his clothes had gone, and just kept walking as he shook his head. While walking to the camp fire he could see Cleo sitting and chatting with Anstice. She looked so happy. Jandro's fist clenched, but then he saw the beautiful and flirtatious Alyxandra, and got a mischievous plan forming in his head. "Hey can I talk to you?" He asked sheepishly. "Sure what's on your mind hunk?" She asked, while Jandro couldn't help but smile. She had just boosted his ego. "You see that guy next to Cleo there?" He asked. "You mean Anstice?" Alyx asked intrigued. "Yeah him. He's getting a little to close to Cleo and I'd like to get to know her a little better, and maybe even seal the deal too. Now you need to keep him away from her." He said. Alyx said something he didn't really pay attention to except for when she agreed to help him out. They parted ways, and Alyx grudgingly sat next to Damon, whereas he sat down next to the lovely Cleo. Jandro smiled at her, "Hey love." He said, he was going to call her every pet name in the book that he could think of, just to piss her off.

cleopatra consella vs damon hamlin
the loving & intimidating daughter of delphia and alek.
teamed up with the quirky & intelligent son of sheldon and xyleena.

Damn right he owed her. Cleo glared at Jandro out of the corner of her eye. Gods, this guy would not grasp the point. It wasn't going to happen. She wasn't going to allow it to happen. She scooted closer to Anstice, and further away from Jandro. When he called her love, that was the last straw. She turned around and faced towards him, then grabbed his chin with her right hand, squeezing it. "Look," she said with a spark, literally. It would suck to be him. "I am not your babe or your love. I am Cleo. And only Cleo. Your ego is as big as your ******** muscles." She pushed his face away with sparks dancing on her finger tips. Something about this guy just didn't appeal to her. He was sexy and hot, but he was a total egotistical jerk. Cleo rolled her eyes and looked over at Anstice who was raising his eyebrows. She looked over at Alyx, who reluctantly sat next to Damon. If she had to take sides, she wouldn't know whose side to take. Alyx didn't need to get so mad, but s**t happens. Damon didn't need to dump the whole creek on top of her head, but sometimes you can't control your anger. Like Greg. Greg didn't have any to get so pissed, or to yell at one of his cabin mates. Cleo directed her attention towards him, and he was glaring at her. She rolled her eyes at the boy, then looked over at the different campers. Chiron was sitting in between the two Apollo girls, singing too.

Just when she was about to speak, Chiron stood up on all four hooves and began speaking. "As usual, rumors have been heard." Chiron started. He cleared his throat and looked at all of the campers. "This year, we are planning to do something new. Like every year." His tail was flickering with nervousness as he pulled out a clipboard and looked back at the campers. "This year, we are planning to have a "demidance" on the dining pavilion." Whispers exploded throughout the group of demigods. Chiron cleared his throat once again. "You are required to attend in formal wear. It's basically your average dance, but we have paired campers together so no one gets... um... jealous." Looking down at his clipboard, he began reading out names. "Roberta and Gregory." Greg looked like he would kill himself. "Paige and Anstice." Cleo glanced nervously at Anstice, who looked like he totally lucked out. "Demetria and Mattias, Chroma and Jairus. Alyxandra and Damon." Cleo shot a look towards the two. Damon looked like he would personally dump a river on top of Chiron, but Chiron didn't seem to notice. "Melantha and Adrian, Cleopatra and Alejandro." Cleo was pretty sure that gasp had came from her mouth, but she did not resist the urge to send a glare towards Jandro. Had he put Chiron up to this? "Last but not least, Althea and Sebastian." Cleo looked over at Althea, but she wasn't there. It was like she faded into the shadows. "Ugh," Cleo said while she rubbed her head. Hades no.

Alyx and Jandro where conversing. Damon watched them out of the corner of his eye. What where they talking about? Alyx snapped at Jandro, but he just dismissed it like he didn't hear her. He was out of listening range, but they where soon finished. When they finished, Alyx looked around until she finally found the open spot next to Damon. ********. The fates where not on his side. He should have sat in between two people instead of leaving an open spot next to him. Damon sighed, loudly. He wasn't going to say a word to her. If she wanted to talk, she owed him a personal and sincere apology. Other than that, he wasn't going to accept anything else. Damon would have scooted closer to Adrian, but he figured it wouldn't be the smartest thing. Adrian was also giant, muscle wise, so chances where he could only get so close. So, instead, he stretched out his legs in front of them and flexed them back and forth. He watched the fire flicker every now and then, and he listened to the Apollo's girls sing their songs. He felt completely awkward next to Alyx. He didn't say a word or even acknowledge the fact that she was alive and wearing new perfume. He completely ignored her until Chiron stood up and began speaking. He already knew it was going to be something he wouldn't look forward to.

Okay, so. A dance. A demidance. A demidance with dates. A demidance with formal wear. Damon raised his eyebrows as Chiron spoke. When he said they had assigned partners, he felt like he got lucky. That way, Alyx wouldn't bother him about going to the dance with her. Even if they where on speaking terms. Like he thought, he wasn't going to say anything to her until she apologized. He took a deep breath and listened to the pairings. Okay, he could definitely live without Roberta. When Paige's name was called, he frowned. He wouldn't mind having her as his date. Demetria was a real cutie-pie, but she was also really sweet and innocent. Chroma was stubborn and nothing like her sister. Then, the next names made him dread the next two weeks. Alyxandra and Damon? The names where being repeated in his head multiple times in Chiron's voice. ********. ******** ******** ********. "The fates are not on my side." Damon whispered to himself, and took a side glance at Alyx. He didn't care for Melantha. She was a total b***h. Cleo and Jandro was another story. He knew for a fact Cleo would not appreciate the fact that she was supposed to dance with Jandro. Like he was supposed to dance with Alyx. She would probably try to lay a move on them, or they wouldn't converse at all. He preferred the second choice over all. "The dance will be in two weeks, on Saturday night. Be sure to attend," Chiron said as he sat. Yeah, right.
