                      FBI Special Agent
                      Maria Bradford
"How about a strong shot of honest,
don't you owe that to me?"

Her real name was Special Agent Maria Bradford and she was from the New York FBI agency, but as stepped off of the plane in Chicago her new undercover name was Maria Romano. Maria Romano was a long lost Italian relative to Uncle Bruno a rat who worked under the big boss of Vince Rizzo one of Chicago’s Italian Mafia Families. It had taken Maria close to three years now to get where she was, years of fallowing stolen guns, and ammunition from the streets of New York all back to the one and only Vince, where he was related to stolen goods, arm dealers, missing people’s reports, and at least a dozen murder’s themselves. When Maria found Bruno, once Vince’s right hand man, come forward saying he wanted to turn state, Maria found her way into the organized crime ring.

Maria walked out of the air plane and down the tunnel passing by the pilot and other flight attendants who were waving the passengers good-bye, Maria would just give a polite smiled and a nod as she passed readjusting her purse strap on her shoulder. As she walked her would smooth out her white pencil skirt and readjust her matching blazer, all high end clothing to play the part of a wealthy girl who looked she could live in a loft overlooking central park… ha Maria only wished. She would exit the tunnel and navigate her way through the busy terminal too the luggage caracal pick up her luggage and then walk to where family and friends waited to pick up their loved ones from their long trips. As Maria walked through the door she scanned and looked around for Bruno out of all the name signs and family reunions. Just then her eyes spotted the older man wearing a black business suit and holding a briefcase in tightly closed hands.

A soft friendly smiled came over Maria’s lips as she walked up to him and the two exchanged hugs as if they were close. “How are you?” Maria asked fixing her hair as she took a quick scan of the place seeing if anyone was there to watch, it wasn’t likely but in case someone knew something was up with Bruno. Bruno’s eyes looked like they were full of worry and tired from lack of sleep from being worried. “I’m… alright,” he hesitated saying it as the two of them walked side by side for the door to go outside. Marie looked over at him and raised an eyebrow, “What… you haven’t been tipped off have you?” Maria asked, it wasn’t her first undercover job but she didn’t like his tone. Bruno shook his head, “Not that I know… Vince got a new man though, lots of rumours about him too. Only thing is for sure is he’s young and that he does a good job.” Maria shook her head, sure she didn’t like having to deal with a new player and not having any information about him but she would live. “Doesn’t matter, now… do you have the money?” She asked looking down at the brief case then back at Bruno where he gave her a solid nod as the stepped outside seeing a black BMW sitting there and a driver waiting by the back door. “Alright… let’s go see if Vince is willing to make a new business partner,” she said with a smile as the driver opened the back door, the car was for them to go to the restaurant to meet either Vince himself or one of his right hand mans.

                      Nicholas Russo
"Make a wish... it'll be your last"

"I fold," a man in a suit said she he placed his cards face down on the table. That left four other men with cards and hard alcohol in their hands. They were all sitting at a dark green poker table with multicolored chips, cash and even a watch in the middle.

The don sat at the head of the table and tossed a small pile of chips into the mix. "So, we have a meet with Bruno soon. Do we all know what is going to go down there?" Vince said with a hard tone of voice.

"Yeah boss, but do you really thing Bruno can be trusted? He seems a bit odd lately," the man said from behind a hand of cards.

"Look, Bruno has been around longer then you. If I want someone to make a judgment call on people. I wouldn't ask you. I'd ask my friend over here," he said then gestured to the man on his right. The person to Vince's right was Nicholas Russo. He was new to this area but his reputation was far reaching. Murder, blood, and various other sorted dirty deeds. For such a young man he had made it far up in the ranks. "So, what do you think Nicholas?" Vince asked.

"I think," Nick replied the whole while looking at the man who had questioned the loyalty of Bruno, "He is buffing,"

"I am not. I really think we might have a problem here boss," the man objected.

"I meant about your cards," Nicholas replied with a smile, "I'm all in." The man pushed his remaining chips into the ever growing pile. The two silently exchanged glances for a moment before the man in question threw his cards onto the table. The cards slid across the table relieving their value. Pair of fours.

"Ha, that's why I like you kid!" Vince said being amusing at the others mans frustration, "Always have a read of people."

Nicholas smiled and got up from his seat. As he took a long drag of his cigar the tip lite up bright red. "Well I'm off to that meeting now." The man left the poker game and made his way to his car. He paused to adjust the tie around his neck, his fingers pulling it a little less tight. Nick always liked suits until some real work had to be down. Because no one likes getting blood over a nice suit, its just a waste really. He pulled a clicker from his pocket which unlocked to doors to a fine looking sports car. 'Ah, this is the life,' he through to himself as he got them then speed away for the meeting.

                      FBI Special Agent
                      Maria Bradford
"How about a strong shot of honest,
don't you owe that to me?"

The car ride was smooth as silk allowing Maria to pull open her purse pulling out her makeup compact and using the mirror to check her face, flawless. She snapped it close and put it back in her purse and looked over at Bruno who has lost the worried look but it was now replaced with a confused look at what she was doing. For Bruno it would have been weird looking at Maria like this, the last time the two were having a conversation was when she had come out of the gym hair a mess pulled up, ready for a shower. “What?” She questioned him as she looked back to her bag and pulled out her cell phone turning it on to check for messages. “It’s just… oh… nothing,” Bruno said shaking his head as his hands would rub the suit case on his lap. Maria scrolled threw her messages, nothing important… they were all the fake sets ups to make the phone seem like it had been in use for a while. Maria sighed, “No need to be nervous… just like we talked about over the phone.” Bruce thought about it for a moment, his hands came to a slow stop and then he nodded. They had talked for hours, the understanding that she would come in, see if a deal could be made to join forces with Vince, telling him she knew people in New York that would be more than happy to do business with them, with allies in New York Vince would be even more powerful. If Vince would say no, Maria would leave… as badly as she wanted another way around it she would have to leave, the FBI didn’t like her being out on this case without any back up nearby… only her cell phone, even her gun and badge wouldn’t be with her till in a few days and that was only if Vince accepted her offer, it all started with this meeting.

The car finally came to a stop in front of a high end restaurant Maria smiled, she approved of Bruno’s choice of a place. Next thing she knew was her door was being opened by the driver and a hand would be held out for her, she would take and gently get up then placed the shoulder strap over she shoulder. “Thank you,” she would thank the driver with a nod, he gave a polite smile in return. “Would you like me to take your luggage to your hotel, or wait till after yours and Mr. Guzzo’s meeting?” The driver would ask closing the door as she got out of the way. “Waiting will be fine,” she explained walking over to Bruno who stood on the sidewalk waiting for her. As the car drove away to find a parking spot Bruno and Maria headed into the restaurant.

The restaurant had the high class feel, the high class atmosphere. It was somewhat busy with other groups of people doing chit chat, enjoying a late lunch, or a coffee. Bruno shared words with the greeter before they were guided to the back of the restaurant to a table away from other people, she smiled, and no one else seemed to be there yet. This is what she liked looking over the situation before the other players arrived. She was pulled out a seat her back facing the back of the room so she could look out onto the restaurant and was able to see the door and those who came in. Bruno took a seat beside her to her right as the waiter dropped off menus and left the two alone. “So… what time are they suppose to be here?” Maria asked as she undid the buttons on her blazer to open up showing her pink blouse, her outfit was very feminine today. “Any minute,” Bruno answered as she took off her sunglasses and placed them in her purse she gave a nod as she picked up her menu and started to skim, she was relaxed and calm, there was no need to be nervous, if she was that’s when she would screw up… and that wasn’t going to happen, not today.

"Make a wish... it'll be your last"

His foot sunk to the floor as he pushed down on the gas. The car's engine made a "voorm" sound as it came to life. Nicholas didn't need to speed since he was not late. He just like the fact that he could go so fast in this beauty of a car. It was possible that Nick loved his car more then he had ever loved a women. He tightened the grip on the wheel as he turned into the restaurant. This was a nice upscale place. A place that was starting to become his favorite in this area. Upon pulling up the the restaurant he hopped out of the car and tossed the keys to a valet. "Be nice to her, she is worth more then you are," Nicholas commented as he walked inside.

"Is Bruno here yet?" he asked the hostess. The women checked the list for the name then nodded once,"Yes sir, he has already checked in. I can show you where they are seated." The two walked past couples on a date, and various other groups of people. This place didn't look like it was used for mafia affairs. Another prime example of why not to judge a book by its cover. Nick always liked having people wait for him. Made him feel important and powerful. Of course that was only in cases where he knew where he was.

"Here you go sir," she said upon stopping at Maria's and Bruno's table. Nick briefly looked over Bruno which he already knew all about him. This other girl he knew very little. Which was something that would have to change. Her white and pink colored outfit was almost the opposite of his dark colored clothes. Curious, you generally didn't see such colors in this line of work. "It is a pleasure meet you Miss Maria," he said and held his hand out for her.

"How about a strong shot of honest,
don't you owe that to me?"

Maria took her time waiting to order a coffee, while Bruno decided against it waiting there trying to calm himself. “Bruno… relax will you?” She said looking over at him then down at the suit case which sat under the table between Bruno and her. Bruno took in a deep breath and let out a slow sigh and nodded again, it was clear he wanted this over with and he wanted out. It would happen, all in time. Maria watched the gentlemen come in the door and walk to the table, it would be the new player, it had to be. His face, as hansom as it was, wasn’t familiar, she had never seen it in any of the photos taken with this particular crime family. “So… do you know him… the new guy?” Maria asked looking over at Bruno as he turned to look at the approaching man. “Damn… that’s Nicholas Russo,” Bruno said somewhat stunned as he turned back to Maria. “Don’t know the guy personally… but the rumors are true… this guys good,” Bruno continue to explain, there was a chance in his voice, it had appeared the thought that since the meeting was starting, which meant it was all that closer to ending, had calmed Bruno right down back to his own natural self.

Maria watched this Nicholas closely but with soft eyes as he approached the table and stuck his hand out to her saying her name… he already knew about her? He was on top of his game. “Mr. Nicholas Russo,” Maria would answer in reply as she placed her soft hand into his and they shook, “Pleasure is all mine.” After the two finished shaking she would politely take back her hand and put it on her lap and sit back in her seat relaxed. “Please have a seat,” she offered him having her hand gesture to the chair he stood beside. Maria bent down and pulled her phone out of her bag and witched it to silent, there was no need for it to go off, but in case it did go off it now wouldn’t be heard. “Is Mr. Vince Rizzo joining us today, or has he sent you in his place?” She asked out of curiosity as she put back her phone and once again sat back in her chair this time crossing her legs.

A few moments latter a waiter would come to the back corner and delivered the coffee she had ordered and placed it in front of her. She smiled and gave a nod at the waiter, “Thank-you,” she would say to him as she would pick up her coffee taking a sip of it black. “Is there anything I can get you sir?” The waiter would ask looking over at Nicholas and ask him.

"Make a wish... it'll be your last"

After the round of being formal with each other he pulled out the seat that was offered to him. Nick briefly looked over the menu in a quick debate if he wanted food or what type of drink he wanted. After hardly any review he had decided and folding the menu up. "I'll have coffee as well," the man said and handed it to the waiter. Sure, it was not his favorite but he never really liked being the only person drinking alcohol at the table. Made him feel like an addict.

"I have been sent in his place today. You know how busy Vince is," he answered saying mostly the truth. Vince was pretty busy but that wasn't the whole story of why he wasn't at this meeting. It was Nicholas' job to make sure this new person was the right type of person. Sure they were all dirt bags and killers but Vince's organization only wanted a certain type of criminal. "We likely will see him later today through," Nick finished before turning this attention to Bruno.

"So, how have you been Bruno? We missed you at our poker game today. It was a shame you couldn't join us." His expression almost seemed one of a old friend trying to catch up with a buddy he has not seen in a good while. The waiter must have had the pot near by since he had had already returned with a cup. After placing the cup in front of the man the waiter turned to everyone at the table. "If there is anything else you need let me know," he said and with that he was off to tend to other tables. Nicholas held his hand over the coffee for a moment feeling the heat that was given off. "Well I guess we should get down to business. What do you have for me?" his said his face becoming more serious and professional looking then before. To be frank, he really did not know what exactly the two had to offer. Sure, he had an idea of why this meeting was called but was until of the details. Every deal has two sides, no one made a deal unless both sides got something they wanted.

Maria wasn’t socked that Vince wasn’t there, but still disappointed, it would have nice to have meet him in person, you can read a person so much better that way instead of through a second in time a photo caught of them. Maria gave a polite smile and nodded in agreement with him, “Vince tends to have a full plate most of the time,” she would agree with him, after all the man did seem to keep his hands busy.

Bruno gave a shrug as he sat back in his chair, giving a half hearted chuckle, “I don’t think it’s a shame… you would have cleaned me out today,” Bruno joked with the young man sitting across from him. Bruno was for sure back in his element back to where he felt at home, Maria was relieved, there was a moment in time she thought Bruno wouldn’t have been able to pull it off. “But yes… business before pleasure,” Bruno would comment on and then look to Maria and shrug, “It’s your show, Miss Romano.”

Maria had taken a sip from her coffee and put it back down in the china dish giving a nod in agreement to Bruno. “Certainly,” she would clarify verbally as well as she softly folded her hand and rested them on her lap. “So Nick… do you mind if I call you Nick?” She would clarify her voice warm and welcoming nothing threatening about it. “As you may know I am indeed from New York where I help run a… organized speciality business such as you and Vince do yourselves,” Maria would introduce herself as, “I’m more of… public relations, I make the bridges, I burn the bridges, I find places where… resources can be drawn from and well… everyone knows that Vince is the man for resources.” Maria would say giving a polite smile and a nod of a head, it was a known face for everyone that if you needed something, Vince could get it. “My boys need new equipment,” she would say bluntly to Nicholas referring to guns. “Our last supplier screwed us, and it’s so hard to find good quality. Now I know Vince doesn’t have many bridges built out in New York, and it is such a shame… it’s amazing some of the supply you can get from Europe, beautiful art work especially.” Maria smiled and shook her head waving her hand around with a small laugh, “Listen to me though, rambling on, let me make this short and sweet.” She said uncrossing her legs and sitting up straight slightly leaning on the table looking at him dead in the eyes. “We need equipment, Vince can get equipment. I have fifty thousand dollars on me now, a typical fair price range I think, which I would be willing to hand over to him at this moment. And say in the future he needs… something from Spain… France… Turkey… I would always be willing to make a few phone calls for him.” She finished off by giving him another polite smile leaning back picking up her coffee, “So tell me… what do you think Nick?”

"Make a wish... it'll be your last"

          ( OOC: Sooo Sorry. )

Nicholas took a sip of his coffee as he noticed that Bruno handed the pitch off to Maria. That meant this idea was all hers and he was just the person needed to connect Maria to Vince. If the trade was made Maria's group would get their guns, Vince would have some money to gamble with. What did Bruno get out of the situation? Sure, it was possible that Bruno was simply doing a favor out of the niceness of his heart. Who was he kidding that wasn't possible. Nick had lost the faith in the niceness of people a long, long time ago. Even thought he did believe that there might be a few expectations to that.

Nick nodded as she acted what he could call him. Then he learned back in his chair and listened to Maria as she made the offer. Nick reached into his suit pocket and grabbed a box of cigerates. He hit the bottom of the box before pulling a single cigerate out and lighting it. Maria had finished Nick stayed silent as if he was thinking about it. Also didn't seem to move, the only movement he showed was smoke trailing from his mouth. It wasn't that Vince needed the fifty thousand dollars, even though that was always nice, but if they could spread their business into New York that held the promise of a lot more then fifty thousand dollars.

"All right," Nicholas replied as he leaned forward and into a table a bit, We can deal." This would have to go to Vince to make sure it had his approval but so far everything checked out. Nick was one of the best in reading people, but to be honest even he did not get an absolute read off of people after meeting them once. To really understand what a person is like you have to see them at their lowest, but a first meeting where everyone is trying to impress. "Vince will be at the pool hall at 2. That when we are get the final approval for you. I believe you know where that is Bruno." Nick wanted to make sure Bruno didn't run away after this meeting. If more people where in on this, the more likely one of them like mess up. And if no one was up to anything sneaky Vince always like bring in new or re-collecting the old workers for jobs.

Maria took a sip of her coffee waiting for him to give the word; anything but there he sat smoking away on his cigarette. She tried to read him, he was pondering, pondering of the situations, the pros the cons, the ‘what if’s. Maria only assumed ‘Nick’ was a smart man, anyone would jump at the chance to expand a mafia business when given the chance, because the hard fact was, you couldn’t just advertise the expansion in a newspaper.

His words would almost fall on death ears as she was too busy trying to read him, but the words, ‘we can deal’ brought the whole thing in light, gave a green go ahead, and chance to finally get her hands really dirty, play with the big boys so to say. Maria continued the polite friendly smile as she gave a nod putting down her coffee cup, now nearly empty, “Sounds excellent.” As the conversation headed over to Bruno he himself gave a fun nod of understandment, “Pool hall down town?” Bruno would clarify with Nicolas and give a professional smile, “Sure two shouldn’t be a problem should it?” He asked looking over at Maria where she smiled and shook her head. “Two is alright with me,” she answered to the both of them, “But if you don’t mind, I would like a sample of the equipment to be there,” Maria added looking at Nicolas, “Business is business and I don’t buy anything without seeing it… I need to make sure I’m investing wisely, don’t need to be screwed again… nothing against Vince of course.” Maria explained to him, how odd would have it been too busy guns without knowing if they worked right or not.

"Make a wish... it'll be your last"

Nicholas let a smile out as he reached his arm out to an ash tray. He held it between two fingers and flicked the burnt used up parts off. " I guess that is a fair request. I will bring some samples for you to play with," Nick replied. There was nothing to worry about with showing just a few guns. Vince was pretty good about keeping their illegal actions as legal as possible. "It should be nice doing business with you guys." Nick made the challenge of switching back and forward from business to casual look easy.

"We do have some time before two," the man started out then looked to Maria, "Since you are also new to this area I was wondering if you wanted to take a tour of the city with me." A charmer, and a flirt was something he had been called before. He always seemed to have a natural way with girls. Then again being smart and power always helped with the area. He actually had no clue if she would accept his invite. Who knows she might listen to the old saying of don't talk to strangers without an adult around. There was an off chance she would venture off into the city with him and make his say much more fun and interesting then it otherwise would have been.

Nicholas leaned forward and pushed the end of his now dead smoke into the ash tray. He wondered if Maria or even Bruno m were anti-smokers. Some people got pretty insane about killers like second hand smoke these days. Since he actually had killed someone first hand he wasn't to concerned about any side effects. How interesting life would become if someone's worst actions were bad public. You could truly tell who someone was then. Sadly, criminal profiles and men like himself did not have the luxury. He'd have to do it the old fashioned way.

Maria smiled at him and gave a nod, “I think it will be a pleasure doing business with you and Vince as well,” Maria would say him as she picked up her coffee swallowing the last bit of it and placed the now empty cup down. She was intrigued to her Nick ask about sightseeing together, it wasn’t really her first time her but her second time there as Maria Bradford but as Maria Romano it was her first time to the city, and the first thing you want to do when in a new city was to see the places that everyone talked about, made you feel more in the loop if anything. Her mind then went through the list of pros and cons of if she should do it, if she declined she would be playing the safe game, saying she needed to check into her hotel but if she chanced it, the somewhat small connection she could make with Nick might bring bigger rewards later… if she played her cards right.

She looked at the silver watch which hung loosely on her wrist and frowned, “I’m actually suppose to be checking into my hotel soon,” she explained as she looked up at him and then over at Bruno. “And I don’t believe they would take too kindly to you dropping off my things,” she sighed as she tried to think through the problem in her head. “Maybe if you won’t mind swinging by the Four Seasons allowing me to drop of my things,” she pondered out loud looking over at Nicholas giving a shrug, “Then we could go out… explore the city. It does have great potential of being a great afternoon.” She finished over by giving him a charming smile as she lent over and picked up her purse as to show she was good to go whenever he was, wither it be to the agreement of having him take her to the hotel, or having him decline the suggestion and have her take Bruno’s car back to the hotel and sit, do paper work while waiting for two o’clock to roll around, oh didn’t that sound like fun, just what everyone wanted to do… paper work.

                      Nicholas Russo
"Make a wish... it'll be your last"

This girl had a brain on her. She seemed smart and likely good at calculating the outcome of situations. Definitely not a trait the girls he normally liked had. But on Maria? It seemed to fit. At this moment in time he didn't mind if she was trying to play him. There was something about two mysterious people trying to figure each other out.

Nick got up from his seat and reached directly into his pocket to pull out some money. Sure, the waiter didn't really do much. Wasn't the workers fault that they really weren't here to eat. He placed some bills on the table, should be enough for drinks and a tip. "Certainly we can stop by your hotel first," Nicholas replied as he moved around the table to be next to Maria.

He was curious if they were trying to flirt with each other or just trying to be charming enough to want to do business with each other. Ah, relationships. There was a reason his generally didn't last. This type of work doesn't promote long term committed relationships. " I will see you soon Bruno," he said making sure the man did not feel ignored. "I will show you to my car," he said continuing to speak but this time to Maria again. Nick went on ahead so he could get his car out of the valet parking. No sense for them both to wait for the car to be brought around. He was really unsure where they would go after the hotel. Both of them only being vague with the town around then mean they, or at least he, didn't know any cool secret spots to visit. Nick waited a little until his car was brought around. "Ready?" Nick asked as he held his arm out for her.

                      FBI Special Agent
                      Maria Bradford
"How about a strong shot of honest,
don't you owe that to me?"

Maria continued her soft, charming smile. Nicholas agreed? It had actually surprised her that he did but… she didn’t mind. He did seem like a charming man… who killed people – didn’t that thought put a damper on things. She wouldn’t let it bother her, she had worked with mass murders before… well finding them, catching them, and then making sure they headed to jail. All of that didn’t really matter right at that moment though she was playing a part, a part of a young business woman who was in this line of work and because of people like Nick she had a well paying job. Yeah it made her sound almost heartless in a sense. As the three of them stood and after Nicholas had spoke to the both of them Maria took a second to smile at Bruno, “Could you get your driver to bring my bag to Nick’s car?” Maria asked. Bruno’s face looked surprised at the whole situation before he finally nodded. “I’ll make sure that happens,” Bruno finally said as he walked with Maria outside where she would walk over to Nicholas and then softly took his arm as they waited for the car.

She smiled looking over at him looking down at his arm then out onto the street waiting for this car of his to show up. What was this anyway? Was he this courteous to all of the women who walked into his life or did he have a secret agenda of his own for Maria, as she did with him? All of it was guessing games, and answers wouldn’t be known till the end of the game and all the hands were revealed. As the car pulled up, Bruno’s driver would walk up with her one luggage bag. Maria smiled looking at the ride in front of them, “Wow,” she said to him a smile on her face, “She’s beautiful.” Maria would comment to him about his car, a sports car, high end, beautiful… even a women could see that with this kind. “Just put it in the back,” she would softly instructed to the driver as the vela would get out of the car and pass the keys off to Nicholas. “Please and thank you,” she would ask as he made his way to the back of the car and would wait for it to open, she felt like going over and taking the bags and doing them herself but… that’s what you got for playing the part, at least she would use her manners if anything.

“You do know where the four seasons is right?” She would ask Nicholas looking over at him giving a soft laugh. The two of them would walk to the car so she could get in to the passenger seat, she wouldn’t wait this time for him to open the door but would let go of his arm and open the door for herself, uptown girl style? No. But more of her own personality shinning threw? Yes. As she opened the door she slipped down inside the car and smiled looking up at him as her fingers traced the edges in the car. “Beautiful on the inside too,” she said with a smile as she made sure she was completely inside before closing the door. She continued to smile as she reached for her purse and pulled out a pair of sunglasses and slipped them on her face, so… this acting gig was hard in one way but so easy in another.

                      Nicholas Russo
"Make a wish... it'll be your last"

Nick seemed a little amused as the girl ran her fingers over his car. It was nice that she seemed to appreciate the finer things in life. He took the keys from the man and walked around to the driver’s side of the car. “Thanks,” Nick replied taking the comments almost like they were a compliment for him. He slid the keys into the ignition and the car fired to life. Sure he could have had a driver but honestly what was the point of having a killer toy if you had to watch someone else play with it.

“Yeah, I believe I know where it is,” Nicholas replied as he pulled out into the intersection. After waiting for a car to go before them the two were on their way to the Four Seasons. “I promise not to get us to lost,” Nick said being playful.

He speed up a bit past the speed limit. Maria wasn’t in his car for a whole five minutes before he started breaking the law. If he only knew there was an FBI agent in his car their “friendship” would have instantly be ruined. “Is there anywhere you would like to go after we drop your things off?” Nick asked. If she didn't have any ideas he heard this area had a bunch of very nice parks. Of course that might just be part of the kid in him wanted to go to a park. A part of himself he really didn't want to admit was still around to someone he just meet. Yes, asking her first was the right choice.
