Welcome to Gaia! ::

Daniel rolled his eyes at Steven's comment, he didn't take it too much to heart. He figured that Steven wasn't meaning to offend him, only to joke with Kadir. He smiled at Aidan's joke about their first snow angel of the year, which had been made quite unintentionally.

"Hah! I would need more then a little snow on my face for that!" Kadir joked back to Steven. He punched Steven playfully as the other climbed over him to get in the seat between him and Niccolo.

When everyone had finished buying gifts for each other, each taking turns going with Niccolo to buy things because he carried the money, they left the mall and filed back into the truck. Niccolo has put the gifts they could take home that day in the trunk to avoid them being seen,. as they weren't wrapped yet.

Daniel rested his head against the back of his seat, he was tired from the mall. He wasn't used to so many people so close, and they were at the mall at the busiest of times.

Kadir raced Steven to the truck, and grabbed the same seat as before.
"Gotta step up your game!" Kadir said to him with a mischievous smile as he put on his seatbelt.

It was getting late, Mikhail guessed it was around 6. The sky was fully black, and the light he was used to of the city was gone. There were few street lights, and they were very far apart, making Mikhail walk almost blind for much of the time. He decided that he should find somewhere for the night, the temperature was dropping, and his lungs were being affected. He pulled his scarf up again and looked around for a place. He noticed a snow covered rock, that seemed to have a small overhang. Under it seemed like a perfect place to stay the night. He took off from the road and through a snow covered field. It took him a few minutes, with the deepness of the snow holding him back. He walked up to the rock and set his guitar in under it and looked around. It was big enough to hold him, and all of his things for the night. He crawled in and sat down inside, resting his back up against the back of the small cave. He closed his eyes and allowed himself to relax a little, only to have himself break into a coughing fit. When he finally regained his breath he decided that he better get some rest, and get the cold night over with. He moved all of the snow out from under him until grass showed, and he packed the snow up like a wall around the overhang. He knew that snow was insulating, and he would need all of the heat he could get that night. He then took an old blanket out of his backpack, and laid down with it around him. He covered his face with his arm, and closed his eyes, hoping that he would be able to warm up more.
"You'll have to catch up your game too in our music, Kadir; but I'm sure you will." Steven said smiling. He came up to sit down next to Kadir, and pulled out a snow ball to shove in Kadir's face. He came to an inch from his face and stopped; throwing it away he said; "Maybe you should have been Russian." Steven claimed mischievously.

Niccolo looked over at Steven showing him a receipt. Steven smiled in the thought of what it had been.

Aidan was a bit out of it when they finally got into the truck. He laid his head onto the window. He knew it wouldn't be to comfortable. Where else could he rest his head though.

As time went by they all eventually got near the main road to get to their house. Aidan was slowly drifting away when all of a sudden; "H-HEY!" Aidan said as he jumped from his seat as much as he could. Steven had put some water from his hand from the snow that he had in his hand left over. Aidan's eye's automatically turned bright blue into eagle vision by accident and starred at Steven. Aidan quickly turned around from them and was going to play along with Steven when all of a sudden. He noticed this blue ally figure in the distances of the snow. "W-wait Niccolo! Stop the car! Now!" Aidan said as he continued to stare out the window.

"What's going on my boy?" Niccolo asked as he stopped the car fast. Aidan unbuckled his seatbelt and hopped over Daniel; getting out of the van and racing down the snow fields. "Hey Wait! Aidan! It was just a joke! I'm sorry! Where are you going?" Steven asked while he ran out of the van. "No, no it's not that! There is someone out there!" Aidan shouted back.

Zafirah stepped out of the car thinking; There's Aidan eagle vision again.. This time seeing it in a real life situation..

Azure hopped out and ran down the field as well. "Come on everyone!" Azure shouted out.

Aidan came close to the body. He walked in the cave to see a boy laying down on the ground wrapped up and freezing. He seemed to be almost frozen.

The rest of the group had gotten closer but not to the cave yet.
Mikhail's eyes flew open as he became aware of someone else's presence. His eyes opened sluggishly as he looked up to see a boy around his age staring down at him. He paniced when he realised that he had allowed someone to get so close to him, without waking or, becoming aware of it ahead of time. He soon found out why when he tried to move, tried to sit up and to hold his ground or to protect himself, only to find his body stiff, and numb. He couldn't move his fingers, or his toes and he couldn't find the energy for anything else. He gathered enough energy to sit up, and glare at the boy.
"W-hat do you want...?" Mikhail questioned stammering out of cold. He had no idea what the boys intentions were, all he knew was that if they were bad, he wouldn't be able to do anything about it.

Kadir was about to say something back to Steven, when he found a snowball inches from his face.
"Hey! No joking about that!" He grumbled indignantly to Steven as the other threw the snowball away.

Kadir couldn't help but laugh when Steven put the cold water from the snowball onto Aidan while he drifted off. He laughed even harder when Aidan sat up quickly and yelped, but he stopped laughing when he suddenly told Niccolo to stop the car. He was wondering if Aidan was seriously over-reacting, and he only became more confused when Aidan ran out of the van. He heard him yelling about someone being out in the snow, as Aidan ran. Kadir felt bad for anyone who could be out in such weather, he himself was freezing, and he was in a van with it's heat on. He got out of the van with everyone else, and ran after Aidan. He hoped that Aidan wasn't just seeing things, it was too cold for such stupidity.

He approached the boy as well once he had caught up. He was a teen about their age, with dirty blond hair, and ugly scars on the side of his mouth as well as across his nose. The boy was obviously weak, yet still seemed to be trying to stand his ground and intimidate them.

Daniel was surprised as well when Aidan had them pull the car over suddenly, and climbed right over him and out of the van. He had no idea what Aidan could be thinking, but when he heard what he had said as he ran, he left the van as well and made his way over with the others.

Mikhail watched as more people approached. He glared at them all, he was horribly outnumbered, and he had no idea what they all could want with him.
Aidan could see that the kid had been worried about the presence of him. It only made it worse when the kid noticed that there was much more people coming from behind Aidan. "Everyone.. Just.. Stay back a little okay?.." Aidan explained. He looked at the kid. "My name is Aidan De Verita Alerio; I saw you from the road and came over-" Aidan said as he realized he had said that he saw the kid from the road. He was worried that the kid would ask how. "We wanted to see if you we're okay; if you required help." Aidan explained hoping what the kid.

Zafirah look at the kid with little interest. "لا يستحق، وثقافة البوب (Unworthy, pop culture-) Ugh..." Zafirah said as she turned away. Last thing we need is a pop culture freak that leaves there good family because they want to be a wannabe rebel and fit in.. I swear if he is..

Azure looked inside and saw the kids guitar. "Hey Steven! He plays guitar too!" Azure mentioned.

Steven looked at Azure, and looked inside at the kid. He didn't know what to say. He was actually intimidated in a way. The seriousness of this situation had gotten to him.

Niccolo walked in from the back and took a look at the kid.

Aidan looked back at the kid; "You look extremely cold obviously. Do you have a place to stay?" Aidan asked.
Aidan seemed nice, but Mikhail was still sceptical about him. he knew better then to simply trust someone, he knew of many other teens who had been tricked into shelter, only to find out that they then owed the person and had to sell drugs or join a gang to make up for it. None of the other teens looked to be anything like gang members, he knew the look of those thugs, and he made it a duty to stay away from them.
"Hello Aidan... I'm Mikhail Glazastov." He introduced himself back akwardly. He looked over at one of the girls as she commented on his guitar to one of the guys named Steven. Steven didn't say anything though, and simply stared at him. He could see his nervousness, he figured the boy and never actually witnessed a homeless teen.
"I wouldn't be here if I had somewhere to stay... " He replied to Aidan, then winced as he began to cough. Coughing only weakened him more, and as much as he didn't want to put himself in such a situation, he needed their help.

Daniel came in behind the other, and looked over and in at the boy. He seemed like somewhat of a rough type, his face was covered in scars and his clothes were torn and ragged. All he seemed to have with him was an old guitar, a backpack and a blanket.
Mikhail seemed to be unable to withstand the weather any more. He must have been out for a long time period. "Niccolo?" Aidan said.

"Is he a safe kid?" Niccolo asked.

"Yes, from what I can see." Aidan replied talking about his eagle vision. "Mikhail; we'll get you to a safe place okay?" Aidan explained as he looked at Niccolo.

Niccolo walked up to Mikhail and knelled down to him saying; "I'll carry you; only with your permission." Niccolo said with a safe smile.

Steven came up to Niccolo, Mikhail and Aidan; "Aidan, grab the bag, I'll grab the guitar. Let's get back."
Mikhail looked up at Aidan and Niccolo in suspicion. They seemed safe, and they sure didn't look like anyone who would manipulate a street kid. Niccolo seemed to be a well off middle aged man, and Aidan wasn't rough looking, and sure didn't look like a gang member. Nobody looked to be dangerous. He didn't want to be in a situation of helplessness and vulnerability, but he knew that he already was. He knew he would have to swallow his pride, or else die in the cold. He made up his mind that he had made it this far, he could deal with whatever was thrown at him.
He hated the idea of being carried by one of the strangers, but he knew that there was no way he could walk.
"You have my permission... thank you." He replied, knowing that a thank you was more then due. He looked back nervously as the rest of his stuff was grabbed, including his guitar. His guitar was his life, his money maker, and what kept him fed and sane. He hoped that they wouldn't take it or harm it, the old thing was beat up enough as it was, and he was far too weak at the moment to punch whoever's skull in. He felt his eyes close as he was picked up by Niccolo and brought across the field and towards their van. He felt himself being put down in a seat, and when he opened his eyes he found himself beside two girls, the one from before who had mentioned his guitar, as well as another girl he had only seen briefly. The one he had only seen briefly before, wore a hijab and a winter coat. From what he could see of her face she looked attractive in his eyes, although the expression on her face wasn't the friendliest. He could tell that she was trying to judge him, he wondered what kind of a conclusion she would come to about him.

Kadir watched the exchange with curiosity, although he was a little nervous about simply picking some guy up off the street and bring him to their home. He hoped Aidan knew what he was doing. Kadir couldn't argue with bringing someone out of the cold, just by looking at Mikhail he doubted he would last out their much longer.

((wow I just realised that I coloured Mikail's text with Kadir's colour in the last post xD))
The group all formed into the van and Niccolo turned up the heat even more. He knew he would need to make sure of anything that Mikhail wouldn't catch hypothermia. The car stayed silent for a while as they drove home. It was probably for the better. The thought on everyones mind though; was probably all about Mikhail. Where did he come from? Who are his parents? What does he plan on doing? Is he going to stay? So many questions; though no one seems to ask them.

On the other hand; Niccolo is thinking that. He wants to ask; but he needs to work on something else for the time being. "Mikhail; if your awake still. You don't have to reply; I know you'll probably would like some alone time. Most of the kids here did want their alone time when they first moved into here. All the kids here are adopted. We're not saying we're adopting you; nor are we saying we aren't. That's for you to decide on your life what ever you want to do; go for it. I'm just going with the fact that your probably going to want some alone time. We have an extra room that you can use to rest. When your hungry let us know." Niccolo explained.

Zafirah looked over at Mikhail; she didn't like the fact of this kid from what she could imagine his reason of his living status. She needed to know; so she got straight to the point. "Why where you out there, Mikhail?" Zafirah asked and yet somehow the whole car seemed to have gotten silenter than silent. Zafirah looked striaght at Mikhail as if she had gained her seriousness back from when she was still living with her parents.
Mikhail listened to Niccolo in disbelief, never had anyone offered him something so huge, after having only met him a few moments ago. Nobody had ever offered him something in general. As appealing as it sounded, he didn't know how much he could trust the man, and he didn't even know if he even wanted what he offered. Being adopted by some strange man who seemed to have 6 kids. It seemed weird to him. He didn't know to react to him, so he simply nodded and stayed silent.

Mikhail looked at the girl beside him as she suddenly asked him why he was out there. He knew what she was really trying to ask, and he decided to answer both questions for her.
"Why I was out there? I already said that I have nowhere to go. I'm homeless. Have been for years. I know what you are really trying to ask though." Mikhail explained as he stopped and coughed. When he regained himself he continued.
"No, I'm not some spoiled brat who was tired of rules and my parents. I'm homeless because my mother is gone, and my father didn't take care of me. So I decided to take care of myself." He explained.

Daniel had gone back to the van along with everyone else, though he kept his distance from Mikhail. He couldn't imagine picking up a random boy off the streets and bringing them to their house could be a good idea, as much as he knew that he needed their help. He sat in beside Aidan and listened to Mikhail as he spoke to Zafirah in front of him. He felt sorry for Mikhail, but that didn't mean that he trusted him.

Kadir couldn't believe that Niccolo had offered such a strange boy adoption. He knew that he had been offered the same thing, and he shouldn't judge, but at least he was known by Steven, and was a part of the creed. Mikhail was a street kid, that Aidan seemed to have seen as blue that none of them actually knew.
As Zafirah listened to the first part of Mikhail's answers; she thought. Homeless.. Obviously.. He must have somewhere to go- Zafirah listened on to Mikhail's answer and found out about how he had it opposite from Zafirah. He had no mother, and had a father that wasn't caring. Zafirah had a mother, she was caring to what Zafirah needed enough. She didn't have a father though. One that made it worse of course. As much as Zafirah didn't want to feel bad; she did. Did felt as if she was worse than him in her judgement. She was at least able to ensure that both her parents we're dead. She couldn't put that passed.

After Mikhail had explained; Zafirah continued to look at Mikhail. It went silent for a few seconds; then Zafirah smiled at Mikhail. She liked how serious and calm he was. Taking care of himself; and taking full responsibilities for his actions. She looked towards the front of the car and continued to smile.

Aidan looked back at Mikhail again and was worried for everyone's sake. He decided to turn back on eagle vision and had saw that Mikhail was yellow. A yellow soul colour?... No... I was wrong... he's... a target... wait... he could be a person of interest... I don't know what he is yet; but we'll learn. Aidan placed Mikhail's bag in front of Mikhail's legs with plenty of room left.

Steven noticed Kadir's reaction to Mikhail's status in this situation. He was also curious about Aidan. He had saw that Aidan was using eagle vision. "I'm sure everything should be fine. I'm sure everything will be fine as well. He seems to be a lot like Zafirah; we'll get along fine. Remember; we still don't know if he's staying. He doesn't even look like he exactly wants to." Steven explained softly and quietly to Kadir.

Steven looked over to Mikhail. "Your guitar is in the back; it's safe." Steven could tell that from inside the cave that Mikhail wanted his stuff safe. "Your guitar is like a great possession I' guessing? I understand that; probably not to your case, but I understand. " Steven explained.

Azure laid back in the van after all that had just happened. "This is cute." Azure claimed.

Steven looked over fast. "Cute? Wait what? What do you mean?" Steven asked nervously. Steven was hoping that Azure wasn't talking about Steven and Mikhail. Steven didn't feel anything towards him. He felt that way for Kadir. Not to full understanding; but more than average. He knew that he wouldn't find out about Kadir's likings for years to come anyway. In that time; Steven would be able to understand more about himself.

Azure answered with; "Going home for Christmas with a stranger that has no home. Offering a home that would make the greatest Christmas gift. I find it cute." Azure explained.

Aidan looked over, as well did Steven. They smiled; including Niccolo did as well. Zafirah smiled as she continued to look down the road.
Mikhail stared back at Zafirah, and smirked when she smiled and looked away. He had seemed to impress her somehow, he figured it was the fact that he wasn't some rebellious teenager or a spoiled brat. He nodded to Steven, he was glad that his guitar was safe.
"It is special to me. It is what keeps me alive. It keeps me fed. I play for tips, I don't steep so low as to beg." Mikhail explained to Steven. He then looked over at Azure and rolled his eyes. He could care less about Christmas. To someone with no faith in religion, and no means of which to celebrate such a thing, Christmas was simply something that people celebrated to get things, and to create a false sense of happiness and charity. Everyone seemed quite happy about the fact that they were giving such a gift to him, he didn't really know what to think of it. They were doing something good for him, it was the only gift he had been given since his mother died. He closed his eyes as he began to feel very tired and weak again, he figured that he may as well rest a little as he waited to reach wherever they were taking him.

Daniel felt that it was nice that they were doing such a thing, even though Mikhail seemed more suspicious of them then anything. He knew how he felt, he could imagine how he felt if he was in his situation. Daniel was suspicious, and he had been officially adopted. Mikhail had just been picked up.

Kadir thought it was nice what they were doing, even though he didn't like the idea of bringing a complete stranger into a house of the creed of all things.
The group pulled into the lot of the and began to get out of the van. "This is Machiavelli villa. Aha; never gets old." Niccolo claimed towards Mikhail.

"Niccolo! Niccolo, we need your help; we need you to come with us. Trey's son Travis had come up to Niccolo from the road. "There is some trouble. We need you down at the office now." Travis explained.

"Got it. Aidan, Steven; please show where Mikhail can rest. I'll be back soon." Niccolo explained.

Aidan was extremely curious on what was going on; but he couldn't just go on and check it out. He was needed to do something else.

The group walked on in as they walked with Mikhail.

"If you want; we talk later, Mikhail." Zafirah came up beside Mikhail saying softly.
Mikhail opened his eyes groggily, having been able to rest only a few minutes before they had arrived. Mikhail tried to love his body again, and found it somewhat compliant, being in a heated vehicle had done him some good. He still found it difficult to get up however, and he wondered if he would be getting carried. He didn't want to be, he supposed that if some of the other kids were to help him walk to the house, it would be better. He watched as Niccolo introduced the house, but then was taken by someone who apparently needed his assistance.

Kadir got out of the van and watched Mikhail's difficulty getting up, he did suppose that the boy was probably still frozen.
"Need some help buddy?" He questioned as he walked over to the door and looked in on him

Mikhail nodded, hating his dependence on the people he had just met.
"Just support me a little, alright?" Mikhail replied to Kadir as he put effort into getting his stiff body out of the seat and out of the van.

Kadir nodded and put his arm around Mikhail's back and under his arm. He lifted him up, and supported him as he slowly made his way towards the house. As much as he didn't think it was a good idea to bring him to their house, Kadir still wanted to help.

Mikhail finally reached the house with Kadir's help, and entered it along with everyone. He was surprised by it's size and luxury, he supposed that Niccolo must be very rich. It made sense, what else would possess a man to adopt 6 kids. He looked over as Zafirah spoke to him softly, offering to talk with him later. He didn't see why not, he couldn't imagine why she seemed to be taking such interest in him though.
"Sure, why not..." he replied as he leaned on Kadir, and awaited being shown to where they said that he could stay.

Daniel noticed that everyone seemed to have forgotten about Mikhail's things, so he took it upon himself to grab his bag and guitar as everyone went in. He came in after them and set the things down near the door, he figured that they could deal with it from that point on. He walked over to Aidan and stood beside him, then looked up at him.
"He's blue...right?" Daniel asked, knowing that Aidan would understand what he was asking.
Zafirah nodded as she walked into the living room on her right.

Azure walked towards the kitchen and started to look in the kitchen for something to make. She thought she mind as well start making dinner. "I bet Mikhail's starving." Azure claimed to herself.

Steven walked with Kadir and Mikhail to bring him to the room that he'd be sleeping in. The room was upstairs and most near the stairs to the right. Steven opened the door for Kadir and Mikhail ad Mikhail ended up on the bed and Steven asked; "Is there anything we could get you?"

Aidan looked at coming in with all Mikhail's stuff. "Thanks for bringing the stuff in. I guess we forgot." Aidan said with a awkward laugh. He knew that question might have existed some time in the future about Mikhail's colour. He didn't think it would come so soon. "His... not red. His not blue either... I'm not sure. He's yellow. Which means he could be a target, or someone to look into. So... as much as I would love to say he's safe. We can only go on what he does now. I'm sorry Daniel. I'll be telling Niccolo though. I know you would want me to." Aidan explained.
Mikhail was lead up the stairs and into the room he would be staying in. For a spare room it was nice, it had a bed, a dresser and a book shelf. More then anything Mikhail liked the warmth of both the room, and the whole house. It was helping to defrost his stiff and frozen body. He was glad when they put him down on the bed, he was exhausted and weak, and couldn't wait to get some sleep.
"No, I don't need anything, just some rest." Mikhail said, not wanting to be given any more by the strangers. He believed in working for things, and he knew nothing was free.

Mikhail watched as Steven and Kadir left, leaving him alone. He didn't know whether or not to relax or still be fearful. He decided to relax, and sleep, he hoped that at least this time he would be aware if someone were to come in.

"It's fine, I saw that it needed to be done." Daniel replied then listened as Aidan spoke of Mikhail's colour.
"He's not blue?! So we don't know..." Daniel said slightly panicking. Sure their house was secure, but only from outside intruders. If someone was inside already, only someone awake could help.
"Yeah, please tell Niccolo..." Daniel then said agreeing with Aidan. Niccolo would need to know of Mikhail and that he was yellow.

Kadir looked over at Steven as they left Mikhail's room.
"So... what do you think of him? Think we can trust him?" Kadir asked Steven as they made their way down the stairs.
