Daniel rolled his eyes at Steven's comment, he didn't take it too much to heart. He figured that Steven wasn't meaning to offend him, only to joke with Kadir. He smiled at Aidan's joke about their first snow angel of the year, which had been made quite unintentionally.
"Hah! I would need more then a little snow on my face for that!" Kadir joked back to Steven. He punched Steven playfully as the other climbed over him to get in the seat between him and Niccolo.
When everyone had finished buying gifts for each other, each taking turns going with Niccolo to buy things because he carried the money, they left the mall and filed back into the truck. Niccolo has put the gifts they could take home that day in the trunk to avoid them being seen,. as they weren't wrapped yet.
Daniel rested his head against the back of his seat, he was tired from the mall. He wasn't used to so many people so close, and they were at the mall at the busiest of times.
Kadir raced Steven to the truck, and grabbed the same seat as before.
"Gotta step up your game!" Kadir said to him with a mischievous smile as he put on his seatbelt.
It was getting late, Mikhail guessed it was around 6. The sky was fully black, and the light he was used to of the city was gone. There were few street lights, and they were very far apart, making Mikhail walk almost blind for much of the time. He decided that he should find somewhere for the night, the temperature was dropping, and his lungs were being affected. He pulled his scarf up again and looked around for a place. He noticed a snow covered rock, that seemed to have a small overhang. Under it seemed like a perfect place to stay the night. He took off from the road and through a snow covered field. It took him a few minutes, with the deepness of the snow holding him back. He walked up to the rock and set his guitar in under it and looked around. It was big enough to hold him, and all of his things for the night. He crawled in and sat down inside, resting his back up against the back of the small cave. He closed his eyes and allowed himself to relax a little, only to have himself break into a coughing fit. When he finally regained his breath he decided that he better get some rest, and get the cold night over with. He moved all of the snow out from under him until grass showed, and he packed the snow up like a wall around the overhang. He knew that snow was insulating, and he would need all of the heat he could get that night. He then took an old blanket out of his backpack, and laid down with it around him. He covered his face with his arm, and closed his eyes, hoping that he would be able to warm up more.
