There was a lot that his country had to be proud of. But most importantly... they weren't American. And they also liked to think that they were tough sonsabitches. The man looked at jean-luc then spoke "Yes he will be that person, those hero's havent been born yet jean-luc you are the so called human from the future, with schools, and what they all call car's" he said revealing a crystal ball revealing a much older ren, having a small beard he was teaching Achilles he was smiling as he helped him move a sword in a fast motion removing the head of a dolls head. He seemed happy, but quickly slapped his forehead when Achilles collapsed the second he stepped on his heel.

"Ugh," Jean-Luc groaned, putting both of his hands against his head. He couldn't believe any of this. It was an impossibility. It was only hallucinations brought on by severe pain. Morphine would be wonderful at this moment. "Apparently I hit my head harder than I thought... Je pense que j'ai besion d'aller à l'hôpital." He spoke as slowly as he could. It was something most people usually made jokes about, but it literally hurt him to think. It was injury caused by falling flat on his back. It was a shame, because he used to have much fun 'flat on his back.'

While ren rather Chiron trotted over, as he smiled some at them, as the man rubbed ren's head and chuckled some "Go play chiron" he said simply, as ren nodded and galloped off playing with other small creatures.

In an instant the pain was gone. Jean-Luc stared up at the man in front of him. "Send me home. I am no importance to you, and demand not to held hostage." He would have recited the Geneva Convention, but he figured it would have no meaning here. "You don't need me. You already have what you want let me go home." He was on the verge of tears as he pleaded, but he held them back. No self-respecting man should cry over something like that. Though, it did sadden him. All he wanted was to go back to his job, and his family, and to what few friends he had managed to not drive away yet.

Jean-Luc stared at the scene, trying to keep a stoic face the entire time. Yes, those things had happened... but they were all in the past. His ex-wife cheated. And sometimes his friends were douchebags.... but sometimes he was too. And he loved them anyways. No one was perfect, and everyone made do with what they had. See, there may have been some issues with his relationships, but he loved his job and, had he actually had the chance, he would have been good at it. Not that it looked like he would be getting the chance. "Yes, I would like to go back to that. It's reality and I like it... As for the job, you're being pretty vague," he responded, started to get pissed off. "Which him? I don't even know what you're talking about. What the ******** version do you want, because I don't really know either. He's a student or a mythical hero trainer... neither of which I would be any use to ask."

He had experienced enough to figure out how things worked in this world. If something was missing it was because someone took it. "If you wanted him to know who he was you should not have taken away his memories. And anyways, je suis professeur d'université, not your own personal centaur whisperer."

the man frowned some "I'm not the one hurting my son, he trust's one man in the future you know who it is you've meet this man kill this man" he said "He is evil, even though he has been with the hero's, he will try and kill your family" he said, as he opened a small portal "Take this home, and keep the sword you were given some hero's used it, and kill this man and your life will return to normal. and you can forget you ever met chiron your not strong enough to care about him" he said, as he gazed down at him, as ren poked his head and began to trott over when he tripped. and stumbled knocking into jean-luc making them both fall into the portal, and appear back in the woods small ren was now shaking scared. As he began to back away, crying some while the older ren galloped up frowning at Jean-luc then blinked seeing a younger version of himself.

Jean-Luc blinked very quickly, just to make sure this was real. It looked, smelled and sounded like the real world. Except there were now two Rens... one of which was crying. And the young french man now had to kill someone. Good times. It was all too much. He unceremoniously fell on his back, staring at the sky, but not really seeing it. "I am so ********' confused right now," he groaned loudly, before rolling over so his face was against the ground.
