This is a 1x1 demon/hunter rp for dark the dragon knight and iridescent_avian_2442.

Characters:
Lupa: Wolf demon
Jake: Half wolf demon

Lire: the Dragon demon, Female. The only one in the resistance who isn't 16-18; she is 12.


Morrigan: Small dragon, rated Gold ( smaller species). about the size of a horse. Likes to play with Lire; doesn't like her human form because its wierd not having a tail; usually just runs around. Lire's been trying to hide her so the big kids won't make her friend leave.


Hasira: the Cat Demon, Female. Hates most males. Noirs her sister. Likes Yinn.


Luka: Butterfly demon, Male. Has a thing for Ghostie. very fickle.


Cal: Ram demon, Male. Likes ALL females. ( Playboy.) But is a little affectionate towards Ghostie, who hates him.


Kyre: Partnered to Thrash. Bat demon, Female. loyal.

Thrash: Partnered to Kyre. Dragon demon, male. Loyal.

Noir: Cat demon, Female. has a thing for Yann. Bored.

Coran: Fox Demon, Male. Has a thing for Hasira; is a bit of a flirt/playboy.

Ghostie ( Jeena): Snow Hare Demon, Female. Likes everyone except Cal because he messed around with her than left her.


Yinn and Yann: Black ( Yinn) and white ( Yann) haired twin cat demons, result of experiments by the humans. Can only fight or turn into an animal together. Light and joking playboys.Big fans of the one night stand.


Yuri: Bat she-demon. Similar to moira except that she is more subtle. Not as crazy; very loyal. Lovs one night stands. Shy around Jake.

Lupa Corazana was an experienced tracker.
She had been working for the Underground since she was seven. She did the locating, others did the dirty work. She was just a middle man.
But this time was different; she was alone and she was the one being tracked. A long scar tore over her right eye where her captors had cut her. She had escaped at night as they slept, but they had sent their best hunter after the pale demon girl.
The thin chain had snapped like butter, but the heavy iron collar had been different. She'd had to take it with her. Drops of purple demon blood dripped across it from the scar; the girl had to get somewhere safe. She was only sixteen; she had so much left to do. There; her hideout! She pressed her palm to the stone and shoved it aside, ducking in and crouching amongst the masses of pillows, blankets, and fruit preserves she held her breath and waited.

Jake sighed chasing after Lupa. Why did they give him the most difficult missions. Couldn't he ever get a break. What had she even done anyway? He looked at the ground and smelled the blood. Being half wolf demon really helped with this stuff. He soon stopped smelling her really close by. "Come on out Lupa, I'm sure if you come quietly they won't hurt you." He said looking around. He just needed her to make one nose so he could find her.

Lupa stayed still; the humans were working for Him; they were after any demon with the Underground mark carved into their shoulder. The wolf-demon caught the scent of a halfling, pungent. She could hear his every breath with her sharp ears. Green wolf-eyes glowed out of the dark of her cage as she lifted her lip, holding in a growl. He was a traitor to his parents kind; helping Thurn track them down one by one. Slowly she shifted into a crouch and felt for her knife, thick tail twitching expectantly and rasping against the hard stone beneath her as drops of blood rolled down from the scar, painting a terrible and terrigfying portrait as thunder roared and lightning flashed in the distance.

Jake turned his head hearing thunder and lighting. Great now he whould never be able to find her. Unless he hurried. He closed his eyes concentrating hard. He heard the slow sound of blood dropping onto something. He opened his eyes and slowly headed towards her cage hoping she was really in there.

Lupa lunged forward, pushing past him and running. her long dark hair streamed with the rain. She growled as something tackled her and she kicked out and wailed, struggling viciously. " Lemme go!" Her foot contacted with something solid and she howled; green eyes wild.

Jake watched as she was tackled by the puppet. While trying to break free she hit her leg on a rock and howled. He shook his head walking over to her. "I told you to just come quietly." He said as the puppet picked her up. He led the puppet back to the base as it carried her. "So, what did you do to get into so much trouble?" He asked.

The wolf girl just snarled as she was re-chained and the men came up to her brandishing knives. In an instant they had reopened the wound and shoved a bowl under the dripping wound to catch the purple blood. She just growled, blinking to clear the blood out of her eye. She wouldn't give these monsters the satisfaction.
" Traitor!" She spat at the feet of the half-wolf that had captured her; "Traitorous halfling scum!" He and his puppet were on the other side of the encampment. As night fell and the bowl filled as the men kept the wound open, she grew weaker. Eventually they left, taking their bloody prize with them. The moon rose and she howled, closing her eyes to keep the congealing blood out of the right one. The wolf was tamed.

Jake looked uneasy as she called him a traitor but what they did to her was something he just couldn't believe. They where torching her. They said they just captured the rouge demons and returned them to the underworld. They said nothing about hurting them and collecting their blood. Why did they want it anyway? He just couldn't stand for something like this. He watched as the men took the bowl away. If he had checked the schedule correctly they wouldn't be back for a while. He walked over to the bars and started to pull on them. He growled and pulled them apart and stepped inside. He broke the chains and knelled beside her. "Can you stand?" He asked.

The demon girl growled and pulled her arm away; " I can't even feel my legs thanks to you!" She spat, eyes narrowed. Her scar was already clotted, but the loss of blood made her weak. " They don't deserve the gift of Demon's Essence, and YOU delivered it to them." She recoiled and ran a hand over the chains on her wrist.

Jake sighed snapping his fingers. But his puppet didn't appear for some reason. Maybe it was recharging it's battery or whatever it ran on. He knew she whould probably bite him or punch him or something, but he picked her up anyway. "For that I apologize, They said they just wanted to send rouge demos back to the underworld. I wouldn't have helped if I had know what they where really doing!" He said in his defence. He walked out of the room and into another area of camp. He slowly made his way to the gate hoping to get her out of here.

" Thank you." She blinked; " Thank you." She struggled til he put her down, than, with his support, limped towards the exit. " This way." Even through the rain her nose guided her to her cave in the dark. " Come in." She dissapeared into the dark, hearing him follow. She felt for her change of clothes in the pillows; hers were wet and bloodstained. She found them and stripped in the dark, changing quickly. " Theres pillows and blankets here. you can stay the night," She settled into them, hearing him flop down beside her. She was out instantly; she was exhausted from the bloodletting.
She dreamed of the Otherworld, what the humans called the Underworld. They had been banished there after Humans rose up. They bred like rabbits, and soon they overwhelmmed the demons. The hundred thousand or so left lived in the dark realm, sneaking up to see the moon they loved so. The fresh air denied to them. but the demon hunters and halflings were deadly. They bled them, harvested body parts, and killed on whim. She dreamed of her home with her Mama and Papa, this very cave before hunters killed them. Her fists clenched in her sleep and she let out a long, low whimper.

Jake was about to return when she told him to come in. He followed her inside and his eyes adapted quickly, making it look like there was a dim light in the cave. He looked surprised as she quickly changed but guessed she whould want to get out of those bloody clothes. He looked down at the pillows as she said he could stay for the night. Well it whould be better. That way they whould think he had been out all night chasing after her. He laid down beside her also feeling sleepily and soon he too fell asleep. But only woke up again when she let out a long, low whimper. He sighed guessing she was having a nightmare or something.

Lupa woke up in the morning at the sounds of the day animals calling. She blinked and felt along her scar, than retreated back into the cave, burrowing through pillows and blankets like a mole. " There!" She found her jar of dried jujubees, little dried out plums flavored with sugar. Her favorite. SHe unscrewed the jar and took out a handful before scrambling over the mountain of cushioning to outside. The wolf demon's tail thumped enthusiasticly; the dun was warm. she walked over to the little creek up ahead and splashed the cool water on her face, watching the dried purple crust wash away with it.

Jake woke up around the same time Lupa did. He rubbed the sleep out of his eyes and watched her come back from underneath the mountain of cushions. She unscrewed something and ate it and then headed outside with her tail wagging happily. He soon followed her out and watched as she went over to the creek. "Thank you for letting me stay the night." He said walking up behind her.
