Hmph, Mackenzie said, rolling her eyes at Jasper when he responded to her comment. She looked at Hayden for a second and frowned, unsure if it was a good idea to have suggested swimming. His following statements didn’t really help the matter any. Obviously she was going to suffer while they were at the pool, because she couldn’t even really get into the water too much without worrying about her hair getting wet. Next time would be better though, and she’d definitely make up for any fun she missed during this trip to the pool. As soon as Quincy and Hayden were ready to go, she quickly grabbed a towel from her bag and followed them out of the room. When they reached the pool, she just laughed at Quincy’s question. I already got permission from the night manager, and the desk clerk, I’m pretty sure it’s fine. They had actually already locked it up when I went to ask, so they unlocked everything just for us. She winked as they entered the pool room and then set her towel down on the table next to Quincy’s. Slipping her flip flops off, she went over to the shallow end and stepped down onto the first step. Quincy had already come over and tested the water, deciding it was too cold, and Mackenzie almost agreed to follow, but realized that the temperature didn’t really bother her. She’d only be putting herself into the pool up to her waist anyway. Taking another two steps down, she sat on a step. Mmm, this seriously isn’t going to be much fun without anyone else… she grumbled with a frown, staring down at the water, kicking her feet slightly to splash it a little.

Jasper couldn’t help but laugh as Hayden stood up after telling him not to miss them too badly. Right, was all he said as he laid there. He glanced at Mackenzie in time to see her eyes roll and he stuck his tongue out at her before her and Hayden left the room. He pushed himself up slightly and kept himself propped up with his elbows as he watched Quincy pull back his hair and slip flip flops onto his feet. Jasper just smiled at him when he looked over at him. He didn’t quite like the fact that Quincy left with a frown on his face, but he just sighed and pushed himself off the bed when hearing the door close. He quickly pulled out his guitar and plopped back onto the bed with a cheerful smile on his face. He quickly tuned it so that it would sound proper, then leaned over and reached into his bag that was on the floor. Pulling out a notepad, he opened it up and looked at one of the pages that was covered in lyrics. He read through them and frowned before strumming his guitar. He continued to work on finishing the song he had started ages ago, as everyone else played down at the pool. After a short while, he got frustrated and threw the tablet across the room, causing a few papers with other songs he’d written, to fly around and land on the floor in different places. He hugged his guitar to him and rocked back and forth on his back muttering nonsense about losing his writing capabilities. Apparently it had been so long since he’d worked on writing anything that he wasn’t really sure where to start back up now. Sighing he stopped rocking and laid still for a few moments before closing his eyes. His hands moved on their own as he began playing a completely random, original, and rather soothing song. Jasper had forgotten how relaxing it was when he played in a quiet place, and he felt completely calm, not a single worry in his mind now. This state of bliss lasted for a few moments before he abruptly came to a stop, Quincy now completely occupying his mind. He couldn’t help the smile that creeped onto his face as he laid there. His eyes opened and he stared up at the ceiling. He decided that later he would work on trying to write a song specifically for Quincy…after he’d regained his abilities to do so. He wouldn’t settle for any nonsense song, it would have to be perfect. Thoughts about the future song he would write, continued to swirl in his mind as he laid there.

[>w> s**t posttttt, sorry.]

Quincy stayed in the hot tub for only a little while longer before sighing and getting out. He was already sick of it, and honestly just wanted to go back to the room so he could shower and relax for a while. "I'm going back to the room," he announced to Mack and Hayden. He slipped his shoes on with a sigh and dried himself off as he left the pool area and headed back towards the hotel room. As he approached the room, he pulled out the card key and slipped it into the door so he could enter. Just as he opened the door, he saw something come flying over in his direction and ducked away for just a second. He saw the papers floating around and eyed the tablet that had just flown at him. Jasper must be working on a song? He made sure that he didn't make a whole lot of noise as he closed the door behind him and looked into the room to see Jasper hugging an acoustic guitar and rocking back and forth on the bed. He had to cover his mouth to keep from laughing. Jasper stopped and soon started to strum the guitar with his eyes closed. Soon he was smiling and looking up at the ceiling. It was clear that something was on his mind and Quincy really wondered what it could possibly be that made him smile like that. After a few more moments of standing there unseen by Jasper, he walked into the main part of the room and knocked on the wall beside him, leaning against it after wards. "I.. hope I'm not interrupting anything."

Jasper hadn’t really been laying there long, strumming the guitar nonchalantly, before he heard a knock on the wall not too far, then heard Quincy’s voice. He turned his head and stopped playing, just staring for a moment, a little shocked that someone had heard him playing. He slid the guitar over to the other side of the bed, then rolled in the opposite direction, falling off the bed. Without saying anything, he pushed himself up off the floor, obviously used to doing things like that, then went over to Quincy. Quinnnncy, how nice to see you back so soon. What a coincidence too, I was just thinking about you. He stood in front of Quincy, wrapping his arms around the boys neck loosely. His smile was the same as it had been when he was playing with his guitar, and he was gazing into Quincy’s eyes with a little curiosity. Tell me dear, how long have you been in here? Honestly he wasn’t fond of people hearing him play, so it was a bit disturbing to find that someone may possibly have been listening for [the game!] quite some time. He wouldn’t be upset about it, but he really wanted to know how long the boy had been there, because if he had been there for awhile, he may have seen his little rocking about episode, or even the flying notebook. If he was there for the flying notebook he’d feel bad since it had been thrown in the direction of the door, and could’ve nearly hit Quincy when he came in. He’d just have to stand there and wait for Quincy to answer, not thinking about the fact that he might be uncomfortable having Jasper so close to him at the moment, especially since their faces weren’t really that far apart.

Quincy watched as Jasper slid the guitar away, then rolled off the bed. He was just about to ask if he was okay, but he just stood up like nothing had happened at all. He heard him say that he had just been thinking about him and just stared at him weird for a moment, not even noticing when Jasper's arms were around him. Could it be that.. the reason the smile was on his face was because he was thinking of him? He quickly pushed the thought away and focused on what Jasper was saying now. Should he tell him how long he had been standing there or lie and say he'd just came in? He'd rather not lie to him about it, since it really wasn't that big of a deal in his mind. As he was about to start speaking, he looked Jasper into the eyes and realized just then how close they were at the moment. He choked on the words and held his breathe as he just stared at him for a few more minutes. There was a nice blush spreading over his face already, but he couldn't bring himself to look away. He finally closed his eyes and calmed down a moment. "I've been in here for a few minutes.. I didn't know you play acoustic too." A small smile was on his face and he let his eyes open again, this time not getting flustered over how close they were.

Jasper continued to smile pleasantly at Quincy while they stood there, his arms still around the boys neck. When their eyes met, he couldn’t help how his smile widened as Quincy’s face started turning a light shade of pink, a shade which was deepening with every second that their gazes held. He was rather surprised when Quincy continued to keep eye contact, despite appearing to be struggling with speaking and breathing at the moment. Jasper managed to avoid laughing for a few seconds, though the internal laughter clearly showed in his eyes during those seconds. After holding in the laughter for a few more moments, he finally let out a small chuckle as Quincy closed his eyes. It wasn’t a taunting or teasing type of laugh though. It was one that was filled with adoration towards the person in front of him, and it stopped shortly after it started, because Quincy had just opened his mouth to speak. Listening, Jasper frowned for a brief second, but it went away and his smile came back to replace it. Mmm, well it doesn’t appear that you were hit by the flying notebook, so I suppose that’s good. As for acoustic…yes… but it’s no big deal. It’s more relaxing than an electric…and it’s a bit of a secret, which is why I stayed here instead of going swimming. Leaning forward a bit he placed a kiss on Quincy’s forehead before removing his arms from around his neck and leaning down to pick up some of the loose papers that had flown around when he threw the notebook. So why are you back before the other two? Get bored without me? He finished picking up the last paper as he said that, and stood up straight, to stick his tongue out at Quincy for a moment before setting the papers on the edge of the bed. Sitting down next to his guitar he picked it back up and held it while sitting there looking at Quincy.

Quincy heard Jasper's laughter and it caused him to frown for a moment, though he was happy that he had stopped when he spoke. There was a frown on his face for a second as well, and it sent certain thoughts through Quincy. Luckily, he almost instantly replaced it with a smile and Quincy listened to his words. So, the acoustic was a secret? He couldn't think of a reason for why Jasper would try and hide that he played, "Why is it a secret..? No worries, though, your secret is safe with me." He felt the kiss on his forehead and was thankful that Jasper had pulled away his arms right after it. He could feel the blood rushing up to color his face lightly. Jasper's next words just added to it, even though he wasn't sure why. It really hadn't been the reason for his quick return. "I.. well, it was just boring.. I'm going to.. take a shower..," he said when seeing Jasper sit back down and look at him. He made a quick retreat to the bathroom and locked the door so he could start the water. He couldn't help but notice how he had been acting ever since they'd gotten back from their date and it bothered him. He was acting so open about Jasper's flirting, and knew that he needed to get his mind back on track. Quincy took a quick shower before getting out and drying off. He looked around for a moment before remembering that he had practically sprinted into the bathroom and not even thought about clothes. Taking a seat on the toilet, he let out a loud sigh and stared at the door for a moment. Sooner or later he would have to go get his clothes, and it would probably be better to just do it before the other two got back, even if it would be horribly embarrassing to go practically naked in front of Jasper. Making himself focus his thoughts on the task at hand, he opened the door and quickly walked over to his suitcase to grab some pajamas and return to the bathroom. When he got back into the bathroom, he let the towel fall to the floor that had previously been covering his lower half. He changed into his pjs and exited the bathroom to find a brush and sit on his bed. He brushed his hair in a fast and careless manner, then tossed it in the direction of his suitcase and looked over at Jasper. He really wanted to start a conversation with him, but he couldn't think of what to say. Instead, he just laid there and continued to look over at him.

Someone told me I was going to hell, but I've yet to receive any travel information.
Can someone tell me where it's located so I can look into plane ticket prices?

Jasper watched as Quincy rushed off to the bathroom for a shower. He hadn’t really had a chance to explain why the acoustic was a secret, so he figured it would have to wait for the next time it came up in a conversation. Sighing, he smiled to himself a laid back on the bed. Quincy could be so odd and confusing sometimes, but it only made Jasper try harder to figure him out. As Quincy showered, Jasper goofed off with the guitar and scribbled some lyrics down here and there throughout his notebook. A few minutes before Quincy came out to get some clothes, Jasper had slid his guitar back onto the bed beside him and was now on his stomach writing some lines of lyrics down. When he heard the door open, he glanced up, but looked back down and finished the word he was writing. Looking back up, he watched Quincy get his clothes, his eyebrow raised the entire time. As soon as Quincy had returned to the bathroom, Jasper buried his face against the bed, laughing. The boy had been so obviously trying to hurry, and it was funny for some reason. He continued to laugh until he heard the door of the bathroom open again. Leaving the smile on his face, he forced the laughter away as he looked back down at the notebook. He was only on the line when he stopped suddenly and frowned, clearly relatively deep in his thoughts. All of a sudden he spoke, Has anyone ever written a song for you? he asked, still staring down at the paper in front of him, rapidly tapping his pen on it.
