Hmph, Mackenzie said, rolling her eyes at Jasper when he responded to her comment. She looked at Hayden for a second and frowned, unsure if it was a good idea to have suggested swimming. His following statements didn’t really help the matter any. Obviously she was going to suffer while they were at the pool, because she couldn’t even really get into the water too much without worrying about her hair getting wet. Next time would be better though, and she’d definitely make up for any fun she missed during this trip to the pool. As soon as Quincy and Hayden were ready to go, she quickly grabbed a towel from her bag and followed them out of the room. When they reached the pool, she just laughed at Quincy’s question. I already got permission from the night manager, and the desk clerk, I’m pretty sure it’s fine. They had actually already locked it up when I went to ask, so they unlocked everything just for us. She winked as they entered the pool room and then set her towel down on the table next to Quincy’s. Slipping her flip flops off, she went over to the shallow end and stepped down onto the first step. Quincy had already come over and tested the water, deciding it was too cold, and Mackenzie almost agreed to follow, but realized that the temperature didn’t really bother her. She’d only be putting herself into the pool up to her waist anyway. Taking another two steps down, she sat on a step. Mmm, this seriously isn’t going to be much fun without anyone else… she grumbled with a frown, staring down at the water, kicking her feet slightly to splash it a little.

Jasper couldn’t help but laugh as Hayden stood up after telling him not to miss them too badly. Right, was all he said as he laid there. He glanced at Mackenzie in time to see her eyes roll and he stuck his tongue out at her before her and Hayden left the room. He pushed himself up slightly and kept himself propped up with his elbows as he watched Quincy pull back his hair and slip flip flops onto his feet. Jasper just smiled at him when he looked over at him. He didn’t quite like the fact that Quincy left with a frown on his face, but he just sighed and pushed himself off the bed when hearing the door close. He quickly pulled out his guitar and plopped back onto the bed with a cheerful smile on his face. He quickly tuned it so that it would sound proper, then leaned over and reached into his bag that was on the floor. Pulling out a notepad, he opened it up and looked at one of the pages that was covered in lyrics. He read through them and frowned before strumming his guitar. He continued to work on finishing the song he had started ages ago, as everyone else played down at the pool. After a short while, he got frustrated and threw the tablet across the room, causing a few papers with other songs he’d written, to fly around and land on the floor in different places. He hugged his guitar to him and rocked back and forth on his back muttering nonsense about losing his writing capabilities. Apparently it had been so long since he’d worked on writing anything that he wasn’t really sure where to start back up now. Sighing he stopped rocking and laid still for a few moments before closing his eyes. His hands moved on their own as he began playing a completely random, original, and rather soothing song. Jasper had forgotten how relaxing it was when he played in a quiet place, and he felt completely calm, not a single worry in his mind now. This state of bliss lasted for a few moments before he abruptly came to a stop, Quincy now completely occupying his mind. He couldn’t help the smile that creeped onto his face as he laid there. His eyes opened and he stared up at the ceiling. He decided that later he would work on trying to write a song specifically for Quincy…after he’d regained his abilities to do so. He wouldn’t settle for any nonsense song, it would have to be perfect. Thoughts about the future song he would write, continued to swirl in his mind as he laid there.

Quincy stayed in the hot tub for only a little while longer before sighing and getting out. He was already sick of it, and honestly just wanted to go back to the room so he could shower and relax for a while. "I'm going back to the room," he announced to Mack and Hayden. He slipped his shoes on with a sigh and dried himself off as he left the pool area and headed back towards the hotel room. As he approached the room, he pulled out the card key and slipped it into the door so he could enter. Just as he opened the door, he saw something come flying over in his direction and ducked away for just a second. He saw the papers floating around and eyed the tablet that had just flown at him. Jasper must be working on a song? He made sure that he didn't make a whole lot of noise as he closed the door behind him and looked into the room to see Jasper hugging an acoustic guitar and rocking back and forth on the bed. He had to cover his mouth to keep from laughing. Jasper stopped and soon started to strum the guitar with his eyes closed. Soon he was smiling and looking up at the ceiling. It was clear that something was on his mind and Quincy really wondered what it could possibly be that made him smile like that. After a few more moments of standing there unseen by Jasper, he walked into the main part of the room and knocked on the wall beside him, leaning against it after wards. "I.. hope I'm not interrupting anything."

Jasper hadn’t really been laying there long, strumming the guitar nonchalantly, before he heard a knock on the wall not too far, then heard Quincy’s voice. He turned his head and stopped playing, just staring for a moment, a little shocked that someone had heard him playing. He slid the guitar over to the other side of the bed, then rolled in the opposite direction, falling off the bed. Without saying anything, he pushed himself up off the floor, obviously used to doing things like that, then went over to Quincy. Quinnnncy, how nice to see you back so soon. What a coincidence too, I was just thinking about you. He stood in front of Quincy, wrapping his arms around the boys neck loosely. His smile was the same as it had been when he was playing with his guitar, and he was gazing into Quincy’s eyes with a little curiosity. Tell me dear, how long have you been in here? Honestly he wasn’t fond of people hearing him play, so it was a bit disturbing to find that someone may possibly have been listening for [the game!] quite some time. He wouldn’t be upset about it, but he really wanted to know how long the boy had been there, because if he had been there for awhile, he may have seen his little rocking about episode, or even the flying notebook. If he was there for the flying notebook he’d feel bad since it had been thrown in the direction of the door, and could’ve nearly hit Quincy when he came in. He’d just have to stand there and wait for Quincy to answer, not thinking about the fact that he might be uncomfortable having Jasper so close to him at the moment, especially since their faces weren’t really that far apart.

Quincy watched as Jasper slid the guitar away, then rolled off the bed. He was just about to ask if he was okay, but he just stood up like nothing had happened at all. He heard him say that he had just been thinking about him and just stared at him weird for a moment, not even noticing when Jasper's arms were around him. Could it be that.. the reason the smile was on his face was because he was thinking of him? He quickly pushed the thought away and focused on what Jasper was saying now. Should he tell him how long he had been standing there or lie and say he'd just came in? He'd rather not lie to him about it, since it really wasn't that big of a deal in his mind. As he was about to start speaking, he looked Jasper into the eyes and realized just then how close they were at the moment. He choked on the words and held his breathe as he just stared at him for a few more minutes. There was a nice blush spreading over his face already, but he couldn't bring himself to look away. He finally closed his eyes and calmed down a moment. "I've been in here for a few minutes.. I didn't know you play acoustic too." A small smile was on his face and he let his eyes open again, this time not getting flustered over how close they were.

Jasper continued to smile pleasantly at Quincy while they stood there, his arms still around the boys neck. When their eyes met, he couldn’t help how his smile widened as Quincy’s face started turning a light shade of pink, a shade which was deepening with every second that their gazes held. He was rather surprised when Quincy continued to keep eye contact, despite appearing to be struggling with speaking and breathing at the moment. Jasper managed to avoid laughing for a few seconds, though the internal laughter clearly showed in his eyes during those seconds. After holding in the laughter for a few more moments, he finally let out a small chuckle as Quincy closed his eyes. It wasn’t a taunting or teasing type of laugh though. It was one that was filled with adoration towards the person in front of him, and it stopped shortly after it started, because Quincy had just opened his mouth to speak. Listening, Jasper frowned for a brief second, but it went away and his smile came back to replace it. Mmm, well it doesn’t appear that you were hit by the flying notebook, so I suppose that’s good. As for acoustic…yes… but it’s no big deal. It’s more relaxing than an electric…and it’s a bit of a secret, which is why I stayed here instead of going swimming. Leaning forward a bit he placed a kiss on Quincy’s forehead before removing his arms from around his neck and leaning down to pick up some of the loose papers that had flown around when he threw the notebook. So why are you back before the other two? Get bored without me? He finished picking up the last paper as he said that, and stood up straight, to stick his tongue out at Quincy for a moment before setting the papers on the edge of the bed. Sitting down next to his guitar he picked it back up and held it while sitting there looking at Quincy.

Quincy heard Jasper's laughter and it caused him to frown for a moment, though he was happy that he had stopped when he spoke. There was a frown on his face for a second as well, and it sent certain thoughts through Quincy. Luckily, he almost instantly replaced it with a smile and Quincy listened to his words. So, the acoustic was a secret? He couldn't think of a reason for why Jasper would try and hide that he played, "Why is it a secret..? No worries, though, your secret is safe with me." He felt the kiss on his forehead and was thankful that Jasper had pulled away his arms right after it. He could feel the blood rushing up to color his face lightly. Jasper's next words just added to it, even though he wasn't sure why. It really hadn't been the reason for his quick return. "I.. well, it was just boring.. I'm going to.. take a shower..," he said when seeing Jasper sit back down and look at him. He made a quick retreat to the bathroom and locked the door so he could start the water. He couldn't help but notice how he had been acting ever since they'd gotten back from their date and it bothered him. He was acting so open about Jasper's flirting, and knew that he needed to get his mind back on track. Quincy took a quick shower before getting out and drying off. He looked around for a moment before remembering that he had practically sprinted into the bathroom and not even thought about clothes. Taking a seat on the toilet, he let out a loud sigh and stared at the door for a moment. Sooner or later he would have to go get his clothes, and it would probably be better to just do it before the other two got back, even if it would be horribly embarrassing to go practically naked in front of Jasper. Making himself focus his thoughts on the task at hand, he opened the door and quickly walked over to his suitcase to grab some pajamas and return to the bathroom. When he got back into the bathroom, he let the towel fall to the floor that had previously been covering his lower half. He changed into his pjs and exited the bathroom to find a brush and sit on his bed. He brushed his hair in a fast and careless manner, then tossed it in the direction of his suitcase and looked over at Jasper. He really wanted to start a conversation with him, but he couldn't think of what to say. Instead, he just laid there and continued to look over at him.

Jasper watched as Quincy rushed off to the bathroom for a shower. He hadn’t really had a chance to explain why the acoustic was a secret, so he figured it would have to wait for the next time it came up in a conversation. Sighing, he smiled to himself a laid back on the bed. Quincy could be so odd and confusing sometimes, but it only made Jasper try harder to figure him out. As Quincy showered, Jasper goofed off with the guitar and scribbled some lyrics down here and there throughout his notebook. A few minutes before Quincy came out to get some clothes, Jasper had slid his guitar back onto the bed beside him and was now on his stomach writing some lines of lyrics down. When he heard the door open, he glanced up, but looked back down and finished the word he was writing. Looking back up, he watched Quincy get his clothes, his eyebrow raised the entire time. As soon as Quincy had returned to the bathroom, Jasper buried his face against the bed, laughing. The boy had been so obviously trying to hurry, and it was funny for some reason. He continued to laugh until he heard the door of the bathroom open again. Leaving the smile on his face, he forced the laughter away as he looked back down at the notebook. He was only on the line when he stopped suddenly and frowned, clearly relatively deep in his thoughts. All of a sudden he spoke, Has anyone ever written a song for you? he asked, still staring down at the paper in front of him, rapidly tapping his pen on it.

When Hayden got to the pool with the others, he wasted no time in getting his shoes off and running to the edge of the pool to jump inside. It was definietly cold, but he still loved it. Quincy had gone to the hot tub without even attempting to get in the pool and a frown formed on Hayden's face. It would be boring if he had to swim by himself. Mack was sitting on one of the steps in the pool, kicking her feet in the water, so he swam up beside her and took a seat as well, but didn't know what to say so he stayed silent. It wasn't much longer before Quincy was already getting out and heading back up to the room. "Party pooper!" Hayden joked and smiled. He turned his head to look at Mack. "Looks like it's just us, love. I'd understand if you just couldn't hold yourself back and had to have your way with me right now," he added a wink before pushing off the steps with his feet to avoid getting injured by her for saying that. He continued to swim for a while, just enjoying his time in the water before getting tired of it and swimming to the steps on the side of the pool and pulling himself out of the water. "I'm going to head back as well.." He slipped on his shoes, grabbed a towel to wrap around his waist, and walked back to the room. He relaized he didn't have a key when he reached the door and pounded on the door impatiently. "Open up, Princess."

Quincy laid on the bed for a few more minutes, just listening to the sound of Jasper scribbling on a piece of paper. He looked really cute when he was focused on something, but Quincy wouldn't admit it. When he heard his voice, Quincy listened to what he said. A song? A blush formed on his face, wondering if he was by chance writing one about him? "No.. not that I know of... why?" There was a delicate smile on his face when he asked. It was a rather cute moment until it was completely ruined by the banging on the door. It was Hayden, obviously, and it didn't even take him being called "Princess" to know it, since Mack was never this obnoxious. Quincy rolled his eyes and pushed himself off the bed to walk over to the door and open it so Hayden could enter. "Do you know what it means to be quiet? Or is that just something you've never heard of? And where's Mack? You left her there alone, didn't you?" He sighed and went back to the bed to flop down on it once again. He wished that it had been Mack returning early, not Hayden.

User ImageAs Mackenzie sat, hardly enjoying herself in the water, she watched Hayden goof off for a bit before turning to see Quincy getting out of the hot tub. Leaving so soon? she asked, trying not to sound overly disappointed about the fact that she was about to be left alone with Hayden. As her friend left the pool area, she let out a soft sigh before going back to splashing the water around a bit. She was only splashing for a few seconds before she was joined by Hayden. Her eyebrow raised slightly in curiosity as he began to speak. By the time he finished, she had an intense glare on her face. If there had been anything within her reach, besides water, she would’ve thrown it at him as he swam away. I don’t think so, she said before climbing out of the water and heading over to the hot tub. After relaxing in the hot water for awhile, she considered going back to the room. Apparently Hayden was thinking along the same page, because he soon stated that he was heading back. Wait! she hollered at him as the door to the pool area closed behind him. Being alone had always given her the creeps, so she had kind of wished that someone was still there with her, even if it was Hayden. Quickly climbing out of the water, she grabbed her towel and slipped on her flip-flops. As she exited the pool area in a hurry to catch up with Hayden, she considered stopping by the front desk. Not wanting to be alone in a creepy hotel hallway longer than necessary, she decided she would just call the front desk instead to let them know that they were done. Instead, she quickened her pace a bit to try and catch up with Hayden. After rounding the corner to their room’s hallway, she spotted Hayden banging on the door. Just as her eyes caught sight of him, her ears caught the sound of someone exiting their room and hurrying in her direction. Letting out a sound that strongly resembled a squeak, she ran down the hallway quickly as she saw their door being opened. She reached Hayden as he was entering after Quincy had left the door way. Without saying anything, she shoved Hayden into the room all the way, and slipped inside behind him before slamming the door shut. Her heart was racing and she pushed past Hayden to go over to her and Quincy’s bed. Climbing on, she threw herself at Quincy. I hate being alone! Especially in hotels! she stated, despite having shared this fact with him many times prior to now. Next time you leave, I'm leaving with you, she said, clinging quite nicely to her friend.

A smile formed on Jasper’s face when Quincy responded to his question. Mmm, no reason, he said through his smile as he turned to look over at Quincy. Just as he was about to say something about how cute Quincy looked, he heard someone banging on the door. Moving quickly, he gathered up his stuff and tossed it into his guitar case, just barely getting it all put away as Quincy opened the door. Jasper smiled when he saw who it was. Hayden! You ruined a moment. I was just about to make mad passionate love to him. Next time, call before you- his words were cut off as Mackenzie came rushing in behind Hayden, tackling Quincy on the bed. Well then… Am I allowed to do that too? he asked somewhat eagerly, staring at the two of them on the bed. Or is she the only person that gets the privilege of being all over you on a bed? He had barely finished his question with a laugh before Mackenzie started speaking to Quincy. Aww, scared of being alone? he teased. Hayden, you should have held her hand, he said, turning to his friend, giving him a friendly punch on the arm. Don’t you know? That’s what any gentleman that wanted in her pants, would do. His last sentence came out in a whisper, to avoid letting Quincy and Mackenzie hear it. You guys weren’t at the pool for very long, he said, not directing the statement to anyone in particular. I suppose that happens when I don’t come along to liven up the party. Jasper sighed and shook his head, knowing full well that he was sounding extremely full of himself. He wandered over to the table to sit down, silently wondering to himself just how long Mackenzie would be all over his Quincy.

Hayden entered the room, ignoring Quincy's rude statement to find Jasper sitting on the bed. He announced that he was just about to make sweet passionate love to Quincy, causing him to laugh. "I can go back out for a few minutes, if you'd like?" Just as he said this, he heard commotion behind him and turned to see Mack pinning the Princess to the bed, complaining about being left alone. "You should've told me. I would've happily walked back with you.. kept you company." He winked at her and took a seat on the bed he was going to share with Jasper later on. The comment from Jasper made him laugh, "That'd not the only thing I was from her, though." Hayden was still looking at Jasper when he spoke again and nodded. "It would have been more fun with you there, Jaz.. She wouldn't have her way with me!" Laughter escaped his mouth again and he stood back up to head to the bathroom. He needed a shower to get all that chlorine out of his hair. Not to mention, a shower would get him good and tired and ready for bed, which he needed if he was going to get any sleep tonight.

Quincy watched as Hayden entered the room, and blushed slightly at Jasper's comment about making love to him. Before he could protest and deny it, Mack was tackling him on the bed and clinging for leaving her alone down at the pool. He laughed and wrapped his arms around her. "Well, I almost got raped by Jasper up here! You should've come with me!" Hayden and Jasper's comments about her caused a frown on his face and he tried to ignore them while Mack still clung to him. Why was it that he couldn't help wishing that Jasper had been the one to tackle him on the bed? His face once again flushed a deep red and he rolled them over and pinned her beneath him now. "I promise to never leave you alone in a hotel again," he said before rolling to lay next to her. Hayden was headed to the bathroom now, and Quincy turned to head to catch eye contact with Jasper. He quickly turned his head and sat up. "We should all probably get some rest soon.. if we want to be well rested for tomorrow's show, at least. For now, though... I think I'm going to head outside for a quick smoke." He stood up and headed to his suitcase to grab his pack and a lighter. He turned to Jasper and Mack real quick. "Anyone want to join me?" He turned and headed out, figuring that if either did, they could catch up.

After hearing Hayden’s response and then Quincy’s statement to Mackenzie, Jasper couldn’t help but smile slightly. “If I really wanted to have my way with you, I would, whether or not they were here,” he gestured to Hayden and Mackenzie as he spoke. He then turned back to Hayden. “I’ll definitely have to go with you guys then next time.” He smirked and glanced at the other two in the room. “I think we could have a lot of fun with those two, but I’m sure by the time we left the pool they’d hate us.” He couldn’t help but laugh slightly. Sitting down in a chair by the small table in the room he watched Hayden head to the bathroom then looked over at Quincy just barely catching eye contact with him before he turned away and mentioned that they all needed to get some rest soon. When Quincy went out for a quick smoke Jasper considered going out as well, but decided against it. “Nah,” he said before standing up and going to set up his bed. He had already agreed to take the pull out couch-bed, so he might as well lay down and try to go to sleep. He laid down and waited for Hayden to get out of the bathroom so he could change into something more comfortable to wear while sleeping. Once his friend had finished, he went in and changed, then went back to lay down. Quincy hadn’t even come back by the time Jasper had passed out.
