But... Don't the VOCALOID files save as .vsq? I found some converter for VOCALOID to UTAU, but I haven't tried it out.
You can just import vsq files into UTAU. Instead of opening a regular file choose the option with the I next to it (which I correctly assumed to be Import) and it has several file types available, like midi, vsq and such.
I might try out Utau... I need your suggestion though... I am looking for Japanese Male vocal... that has those sounds where its smooth.. like Kaito for example is very similar to Spitz and matches GLAY and L'Arc en Ciel... those bands that plays Pop and Rock... I myself is pop/rock/punk/alternative/ singer myself
I am not too familliar with utau... but I need your suggestions on which voice bank is awesome?
let me list bands I want to reffer to.... so that you get what I am saying.... well something that is useful for following types of j-artists...
Mr.Children
GLAY
B'z
Spitz
Oda Kasumaza
Kaito
Suga Shikao
