I've heard her new single and it sounds great. It has the same feel to it as Final Distance and Deep River had.

I heart Hikki. She's so adorable and her voice is one of the most beautiful I have ever heard. I really like all of her songs, but Sakura Drops is my current favorite. 3nodding

I like Utada Hikaru. She's cool. I especially liked the music video for wait and see. I want one of those car thingies! crying Anyways, she looks good with short hair. 3nodding bump.

I love Hikki's music! Wonderful voice, and she writes most of her own songs...very talented. ^_^ I don't have a particular favorite album, but some of my favorite songs have to be "Automatic" and "Wait and See." ^_^

Out of curiousity, how did everyone first learn of Hikki?

I discovered her years ago when I downloaded one of her songs, Automatic I think, from her first album. I loved it so much I bought the First Love album and I've been buying all of her albums and most of her singles ever since. biggrin

The first I heard of her was for "Hikari/Simple and Clean" for Kingdom Hearts. It's still one of the best and prettiest songs I've heard (and I really wish there was a full version of the remix ^^; ).
I've also heard "First Love", which was also pretty dang nice, as well as one other song, though I've forgotten the name of it.

Utada definitely has the talent, though; especially being able to sing in English as well as Japanese. I'm gonna be keeping an eye out for her US album.

There are full versions for the Hikari and Simple and Clean remixes. The Hikari one is on the Hikari single while the Simple and Clean is on her Colors single.
