I love Hikki with...a lot. I can't buy her CDs because..my parents wont let me spend that much money on a CD crying Grrrr scream

Ahem. I love Tokyo Nights because its just so poppy (so unlike me, I swear) and I DL a lot of her songs and have 3 CDs with her songs on them. My personal favorite song of hers is Eternally. I don't know why, I am just IN LOVE with it!! heart heart heart

Out of couristy has anyone listened to her singles collection yet? I heard that the songs were remastered so they don't sound exactly like the original releases. Can anybody confirm this?

Also for those looking to find out more about Utada in the U.S. here's the link to her official English page: http://www.utada.com

I hope that this can become an official thread.

And as for my favorite album by her, Distance wins by a mile. Of her three albums, that was the one to combine a strong set of singles (Wait and See ~risk~, Can you Keep A Secret, For You/Time Limit and Addicted to You) with a set of awesome original tracks (DORAMA, Parody, Distance <-- this being an original track for the album before a coupling song on Final Distance).

First Love was very enjoyable pop music, but it still had Utada Hikaru inside too much of a stylistic box. Deep River was very mature, but almost none of the songs had the same punch as the majority of songs on Distance.

Icy Day Fiction

There are differences, but they are very slight.

I think her voice is so sweet and pretty... *sigh* Wish I could sing that good! crying Meh, oh well. But I really like Hikari; that's such a beautiful song. The pv is kinda weird though... sweatdrop

For the lady whose lace panties ended up in my mother's swimming pool filter. I'm not sure who you are, but I've narrowed it down to one of five.

I am in my school orchestra and my friend and I are going to get the music for Hikari and we are going to play it. Gah!!!

So excited!!

Birthday is July 9th. Art and presents?
I own all of Hikki's albums and DVD's including the newest one. I have gone to most of her rare concerts like the last one at the Budokan. She's the greatest person and singer. biggrin

I also have met her and talked to her. She's just the way you all see her, funny and very shy. ninja

Edit: In your first post, you should include lots of information on her including images so people could know more about her. wink

Posing as Lanzer and having tons of gold during the good ol' days.
