Edit: I got word of dARI's valentine concert. All the information is up on the C/A forums, and I posted a nice skit to go along with it. You don't know how much I'm hoping for an interview with the two bands. Who could I possibly be talking about? ... 8D

I'm going to have to drive since the university I want to go to is like 2 hours away from where I live. But my parents are pretty insistant on sending me to one of the four universities I absolutely cannot stand. One of them being Wilfred Laurier. That guy was a horrible prime minister, so I'm not going to his school. 'Nuff said.

DA is full of that stuff, naturally. The front page is always covered in mature content stuff, cute puppies, that one person that draws foxes, random black-and-white photographs that suck either way, and those apples with hearts cut into them. Oh, and that Veemon person. I appreciate the name, but he just draws everything with gigantic eyes and people love it.

That's good. One is better than no one at all! I'm still waiting for them to have an english song (spanish? Seriously? Seriously? ) so my friends will listen to them. It's a phobia of theirs. Is it a crime that I know what THF stands for, when I don't even like them? At least, I think I know...

Awe. I need to get grants so i can go to college I want to go and get more education lol i should have tried to go back last year but i dont want to have use student loans that have to be paid off. its a yukky mess.

I hate that I almost died after seeing one of the pron pics srsly clothes line clips, gonk its horrible. I don't think I have ever seen the big eyed drawings.

Yeah. I know but I dont want them sounding like finley dont get me wrong i love Finley but their song Devinteri una Star gets turned into Dollars and Cars and sounds awful. but their songs Recodi and Fumo e Cenere in both english and italian sound amazing but i perfer the Italian over english. Why is that music is music no matter what language they sing?

Some people just have this idea that they absolutely need to understand everything or else the song isn't a song anymore. I even offered up a link to a video of Cercasi Aaamore with subtitles and my friend wouldn't watch it. I don't get how someone can purposely miss out on a potentially good band.

no actually i am I fail at every that comes with finding a job my first interview was with my friends dad for a pizza place and IFAILD i totally failed at everything during that interview see i didnt know he was her dad till the interview and yeah non since. I fail i think i need to find a way to start my own business.

Yup, it's the name. It kinda reminds me of the band Finntroll, and they're Finnish. I heard a song by Finley the other day, and it was pretty good. It started with an 'S' and it was only one word long... Serenade, or something like that.
I tried to get my mom to listen to some good music, so I ended up making a cd of "tolerable songs" so she'll listen to something in the car besides terrible country singers. But, despite all the good bands (Entwine, The Rasmus, The Academy Is) I put on the cd, she still listens to Hey There Delilah on repeat. ><

Ouch. But at least you can still talk about it. I went to see Madina Lake opening for Anberlin, and the first thing people always ask me is "Which venue were they at?" Then I have to go ahead and say loudly enough for them to hear "The Cowboys Ranch!" If there's a terrible name for a club, that's the one. Leave it to Madina Lake.

wow. Sirene, or the English version In My Arms. another good song by them is Solo di Setembre, i think is got somthing to do with sun and September. XD i have done that two and Really all i can get her to listen to the 80's songs i have randomly about my cds like i have one AirSupply song MY MOM LOVES them just like she loves Bon Jovi. Then theirs my Super awesome songs that make you wanna run around and chear for the opposing team at a sporting event. well me at least I do it anyways >D and she likes to listen to Morrissey because I maker her.

Yeah i can still talk about Anna Nalic and Teddy Geiger <3 I still have the T-shirt I got from the concert as well. and yeah... I bet it was an awesome show. My mom just loves listening to Boy George on youtube. Loudly. At least it's better than my dad, who hasn't found the search function yet. He'll start watching a video (loudly, because he's going deaf) for about 3 seconds, then skip to another one. That'll go on for 5 seconds, then he'll go back to the first one. 3 seconds again. He'll do this about 15 times. And, of course, he'll only do this on a sunday night at about 11:30 when I'm trying to get to sleep. And he only watches (what sounds like) Ukrainian clog dancing.

I haven't heard about Teddy Geiger for the longest time xD Yeah, Madina Lake were pretty good. I was trying to film their new songs (since this was before their new cd came out), but I kept getting older ones because I was like "I don't remember this intro! For sure it's a new song!" I ended up filming practically their entire set in vain because Nathan said when they were playing a new song >< As for Anberlin, I now hate the singer because he's rude. After the first song, he announced there wasn't going to be an encore so everyone should leave right after they're done. Then, at the last song, once his lyrics were done, he just dropped the microphone and walked off the stage. Whatta jerk.

Ouch. My dad knows he's not a singer, so I'm safe in that field. He just brags a lot about being in a band when he was younger. rolleyes

Really? I thought he dropped off the face of the planet. Yanno, like Clay Aiken and Kelly Osborne. Yeah, I got 'Never Take Us Alive' and 'Never Walk Alone'. Everything else was old songs. I got an awsome view, though, since I was front and center on the balcony in front of the bar. Unfortunately, I'm starting a fear of heights and I was deathly afraid that someone was going to throw me off the balcony. You can see all my videos here (I like to brag 8D )

Edit: I have found a god on earth! ...Well, just someone who does a damn good job of translating the dARI babbles. [Link] That's their one for (can't remember the italian name) that one really boring and slow song. Watch Dari at 3:45, he just can't stop making faces at the camera. And this person also translated Wale, Cercasi Aaamore, and Tutto Regolare. As I just checked, their translation of Wale is a lot easier to understand than the band's "official" translation.
...Dari just got 10% more badass in my mind after watching the subbed Tutto Regolare. biggrin But I still don't believe the whole skateboarding gimmick. Gimmeabreak.
Edit Again: I just took a look at one of their other videos ([Link]) and that's actually a pretty good song. I love the last little "ever" in there. "I won't spare you!" "Really, 'cause I kinda just broke a heel and I've been running for like a mile here and--" "EVER!" Is it just me, or does the singer look like a mix of Ronnie Radke, Trace Cyrus, and Adam Lambert?
And I'm enjoying their christmas cover.
Edit Once More (see what happens when I get started with these things? ) : So I was watching my old videos of Anberlin, and I started looking to see if I could find Anberlin's last song where the singer walked off stage before the song ended. And, I found it. [Link] It seemed much more rude after he said that they weren't playing an encore and everyone should get out. But on the positive side, he huddled backstage the entire time, so the rest of the bands on the tour ordered Swiss Chalet for dinner and he didn't get any. twisted

Yeah he didnt. He was in a movie a year or so ago "The Rocker" with that guy from the Office. Wow I was on the ground the nice concrete ground 19 rows from the stage. I dont know if I could be on a balcony I already am afraid of hight's and i have paranoia. I come up with so many different scenarios of how I could die when I am on a boat or up really high.

You need to take my mother to some of your concerts. She tends to take this 'elbowing' idea a bit too far. She'll shove everyone just so I can get a good spot. xD

Trust me, the sped-up version is much better. Though, I kinda screwed up on the voice levels. They still sound a little bit chipmunk-y. Ah well, not like Dari can't reach that octave anyway.
It's the eyes that remind me of Adam. I can't explain it further than that, but it has something to do with that 'window to the soul' theory.
If that was the case, he should learn to be a man and wait another, oh, I dunno, half a minute until the band is finished. Or he could have went before the show started.
