LITTLE JIMMY URINE!!!!

1. Artist: DJ Doc

2. Type of music/Genre: Korean music, by the way (so you have to order it or hunt it down to download...). It's kind of a mix of rap and techno, although I am not a huge fan of rap, I do actually like this...they have some cool stuff...

3. Summary of the band: Unfortunately, I don't elaborate on this particular thing, so I don't remember teh guys' names, but there are three of them. Plus, I'm not Korean, so it's hard to remember some of the names...

4. Recommended songs: Run to You, because it was the first song I heard by them, coincidentally while playing pump it up for the first time on hard...(long time ago), anywho, I like this song a lot, because it's cute in a way, but it has a really good beat, and it's techno-ish. (Gotta love the Techno/trance wink )

3. Summary of the band: just two male vocalists, their voices r beautiful and relaxing.
4. Recommended songs: running away...one of their fastest songs. ashita e kaeru....slow, but has good lyrics and a good melody. so in vain....sounds sort of like ashita e kaeru but not really (i have no other way to explain)

1. Artist/Group Name: The Dead Pets

1. Name: Fairy Fore
2. Genre: Japanese Alterna-pop

3. Type: Very up-beat alternative rock with great guitar and memorable vocals. They've done a bit of soundtrack work but still remain a bit on the obscure side... if you can find anything by them you're in for a treat :3 Fairy Fore is awsome~

4. Recommended songs:

Vivid - If anyone is ever going to recognize Fairy Fore, this is the song you'll recognize... this was the ending theme from the series Final Fantasy Unlimited.

Jet - Another anime theme.. this one was from Beyblade (not exactly the greatest series, but at least the music is good~)

Planetary - This song reminds me a lot of L'arc en Ciel.. if you like LeC, you might dig this one~

Love Sick - I'm sure this song was in an anime at some point.. but I'll be damned if I can remember which one :\ another great song.

Body Double - I think this one was used in the Shin Megami Tensei series, another one similar in style to Love Sick, very good stuff.

Moo! Moo! I'm voodoo cursing you!
Fumiko Ishihala posted a thread in the forum asking for German bands, so I thought I'd put my favourite one here.

Hot Boogie Chillun'

Genre: Rock'n'Roll

Type: German band with (as far as I know) mostly English songs, makes you want to dance very badly.

Recommended songs: Since they're hard to find (for me, at least), any song downloadable from the website. They are ALL good.

1. Artist/Group Name : Yoshida Kyodai (吉田兄弟） Yoshida Brothers

2. Type of music/Genre:　津軽三味線　"Tsugaru Shamisen" (type of three stringed instrument; "tsugaru" would be refering to the location of which this particular type is from {the current Aomori-ken in Japan}). Traditional Japanese instrumental folk-songs with a touch of modern influence.

3. Summary of the band: The group would consist of Yoshida Ryoichiro (吉田良一&#37070 wink and Yoshida Kenichi 〈吉田健&#19968 wink , brothers who both started to learn how to play the shamisen at the age of 5. At young ages, they achieved top ranking in national competitions, and thus started to work on their own styles with their intruments, breaking away from the standards and breathing new life into the genre. Evolution towards this modern style can be seen through the development of their songs, progressing from their earlier releases to their most recent.

4. Recommended songs: As a whole, I would recommend the entire album Ibuki (いぶ&#12365 wink because of how it contrasts the two brothers playing styles, as well as showing how they complement each other. Its a lush-soundscape of the two men beating away at their instruments.

Asian Kung-Fu Generation is awsome.. to fill in on your post:
They're sort of a rockish jazzy sound.. kinda hard to pinpoint an exact genre so I guess alt.Rock is a good one to slip em into for the time being.

Must Have AKFG songs:
Konayuki, Rasuto Shin, Haruka Kanata, Kimi to Iu Hana, Mugen Glider, Re.Re., Rewrite, Rocket No.4, Understand and Rashinban.

Anyone who's even remotely into Jrock should definately give these guys a try.

Okay, thank you! ^.^

1. Name: The Back Horn (And I'm surprised no one has recommended them yet.)

2. Genre: Rock, I guess, but it's really a style in it's own. Some of the music can be catchy, but most of all, you'll probably fall in love with Yamada Misashi's wonderfully clear voice.

3. Summary: The band is composed to four members. Matsuda Shinji on the drums, Okamine Kohshu on the bass, Suganami Eijun on the guiter (I swear that he looks like a human reincarnation of Luigi), and Yamada Misashi with the amazing vocals. Once again, they do a bit of a rock thing, but it varies. It can get pretty intense, but that's what's so great.

4. Recommended: Sora, Hoshi, Umi no Yoru. You can hear Yamada's really clearly at the beginning, but there's not a complete lack of guitar. The lyrics are very pretty, and they always are. I love the softness in Yamada's voice, and the guitars get kinda strong occasionally, but not too loud, blending perfectly with the vocals.
